Kaiden grimaced as he watched Kijani handle her fingernails. She was intense and he could feel her intenstiy rising the adrenaline in his body. He used this to focus in on what she was advising so they could have a strong match. He wasn't writing them off but he wasn't expecting them to win; he simply wanted to surprise people and himself with what he was capable of. When he showed his emotions he showed his weakness. He inhaled deeply and forced his brow to relax, letting a serene and calm look cross over his face. He stared intently at Kijani as she explained their maneuvers, making sure to glance away every once in awhile as to not unintentionally upset her. He was curious about Kijani, ever since he saw her first in trouble in gym class. He hoped they could get to know each other better after this. To do that he figured he better impress her with their fight.

He didn't know Flood had any powers with ice. Turning back to Kijani, Kaiden asked her "I'm a little confused, who are we fighting next?" He looked over to Kalinda. If he made eye contact with her he would give her a wave and a thumbs up, smiling as he saw she had won her round. He hoped he wouldn't have to fight her.

Katherin frowned as her friend returned. They were definitely going to have to talk about this newest development later. She climbed to her feet. "I'm ready."

Phoebe nodded, going over to Kyra, "are you ready to fight?" She asked, wondering what Kyras abilities actually where, but prepared for anything

Nicholas just nodded his head following behind Phoebe thinking of what she spoke to him and could probably ask her to teach him how to better control the plants.He sat down on a bleacher watching and wondering how his powers work.

Devika got up, nervous about her battle. Even though she was getting better, she still felt like dead weight in a real fight. With a smile, she approached Kyra. "Uh, I guess I'm your partner. It's nice to have to face you again. I hope I don't slow you down." She started to take deep breaths, pulling her emotions to the forefront. If she could get close enough to touch the others, then she figured that would be helpful. Then again, she was sure everyone in class knew what she could do.

Kijani grinned at Kaiden, getting up and starting to stretch. "Not sure who we're up against, but I'm sure we'll beat their asses all the same." After getting warmed up, she slid into a full split, and then shifted into a handstand, balancing neatly. Her shoulder twinged just a bit, but it was nothing that would stop her. Dropping and rolling back to her feet in one smooth motion, she smiled and looked over to the other classmates.

Devika got up, nervous about her battle. Even though she was getting better, she still felt like dead weight in a real fight. With a smile, she approached Kyra. "Uh, I guess I'm your partner. Kaiden nodded to Kijani. He liked her confidence. He was eager for their first fight to begin. The classroom was a bit chaotic but it was full of energy, everyone either in fight or preparing. He took a moment to practice his teleporting. He raced towards one side of the room and halted, clsoing his eyes as he focused on where he wanted to go next. He opened his eyes as he reappeared back where he first had began his sprint, white smoke lightly slowing around him. He smirked, glad to see his progress. He tried again, racing forward across the room, this time he lept upwards and mid-jump focused his mind on where he wanted to land. He reappeared almost right over Kijani, falling down so close to her that his arm brushed along side hers. He curled up as he fell down, rolling on his back as he tumbled forward, gracefully regaining his balance from the awkward transition. He spun around to Kijani as he hastily got to his feet. "Ah! Sorry about that!"

Phoebe wasn't too sure how they would go with fighting Devika. She wasn't too sure just how devikas power worked, nor how she could be effected by others. But Phoebe wasn't about to back down. She turned to Katherine, "didn't I hear that she caused mimic to breakdown just by touching him? You should see if you can maybe put a layer of ice over your skin! That would be awesome!"
