"Then... it's decided then, we are to head to the Digimon Village. If everyone's had their fill, then I say it's time we head on out." It was at this time that Killian took notice of Alice and her question. "Alice has a very good question, Jehu, do the Digivices do anything besides... well, mark us as Tamers and allow us to be with Digimon?"
"They do! Old legends state that they allow a Digimon to Digivolve far quicker than they would if they didn't have a Tamer. Digivolution allows us Digimon to get stronger and to fight harder, and it will allow us to protect those we care about a whole lot easier as well. Not only that, but there were old tales that they were capable of giving you information on Digimon by a simple button press if I remember correctly, which will be very useful if we come across any Digimon that we haven't met yet," spoke Jehu as he flew towards Killian, before turning towards the group. "My friends at the village will be delighted to meet you guys, so perhaps one of you may meet your partner among them? Maybe?"
"You're really an odd ball, aren't you, Jehu?" murmured Killian as he playfully thumped his Digimon, before the bipedal creature flew onto his head, standing on it like a brave little warrior. "But of course... Anyway, let's head out folks. Stay close, we don't know what's out there, or what may be coming for us. Jehu, point us towards the village."
With those simple words, and upon everyone learning each others' names, the group head off towards the Digimon village that Jehu spoke of.
Back at the tower..."They... they what?!" roared Datamon as he slammed his fist against his lab table upon hearing what
Sealsdramon had to say.
"Did I stutter? You heard me Datamon. Some little robot Digimon... a Jehumon I think, came in, knocked out the 49th platoon, and rescued the 3976th batch of Digidestined that we kidnapped and left into the forest," spoke Sealsdramon as he casually sharpened his knife while taking a drag on a cigar.
"How did a little weakling get into this marvelous tower and rescue them?! You and your damn stupid troops are nothing more than a bunch of insignificant-"
"Hey..." spoke Sealsdramon in a serious tone as he suddenly appeared behind Datamon with his knife a little closer to the Ultimate Digimon, "... I may be a Champion, and you may be an Ultimate, but you, unlike me, Datamon, aren't suited for combat. If it weren't for me and my men, you wouldn't be under the protection of our Masters, so shut your mouth about my troops. They work tirelessly to do their duty while you're here all comfy like a prepped up little doll doing your research on what the Masters want." Sealsdramon flicked his cigar with a simple motion of his jaw, before moving around Datamon, "Now, I'll hunt down the missing Digidestined with a platoon of Commandramon, along with a few
Mekanorimon."
"Bah..." groaned Datamon as he felt a cold shiver spread over him. "Well... where will you look for them, the forest is huge? You can't just go burning it down after all."
"There is a village of
Tanemon a fair way into the forest. Given how much of your anesthetics you've given them, they're probably heading there right now... We will make our way there shortly, and should catch them before they even get a chance to leave... Although, I'm sure they're expecting us... Nonetheless, we will bring them back," spoke Sealsdramon as he grinned... before chomping his cigar sharply and sheathing his knife and disappearing instantly into the shadows.
The Tanemon Village..."...and then we should finally arrive at the village approximately... now!" shouted Jehu as he hopped off of Killian's head as he pointed towards the Tanemon Village. "It's a pretty nice place, to be honest. The Digimon who live here are called Tanemon, they're shy Digimon so they're probably hiding at the moment. Yo, Tanemon! You guys can come out! These guys are friendly and they're with me!" roared Jehu as loud as he could, hoping to attract attention.
After a few silent moments, dozens upon dozens of Tanemon came out of the huts, looking up at the group and at Jehu. It was true, they did seem pretty shy, although they were also very cute. Some Tanemon were bouncing up and down as they approached Arista, Fleur, and Alice, while others were rubbing their heads playfully against the legs of Annabeth, Catherine, Orion, and Danny.
"Well, once they meet good people, they quickly like to show their affection, at least, that's what these Tanemon do. It's kinda cute actually if you ask me. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, my friends are probably in some of the huts around here, you guys can go and meet them if you want, I'm sure they'll be pleased to meet Tamers," spoke Jehu as he patted a Tanemon on the head.
"Awww... They really are pretty cute... Hey, Jehu, is there perhaps, like, a watchtower or something?" asked Killian as a sudden thought entered his mind.
"A what now? Is it like a clock tower?" Jehu gave off a puzzled look.
"No. Um... Is there a spot where I can look at things safely at a distance from here at the village?" he asked while trying to be more simple.
"Yeah, over there is hill where you can see quite a ways actually. Why?"
"Nothing... Just want to take a quick look at our surroundings is all," spoke Killian as he began to turn towards the group. "Well, while I'm checking out the hill, you guys go look around town, check out Jehu's friends and maybe get along with the Tanemon here. I'll be back in a bit!" With that, Killian made his way towards the hill.
