So everyone starts with three unique skills, and than they get one more skill/perk each level? Which can either be their own unique version or one already listed?

That's the plan. Though I understand some accepted characters don't follow that rule exactly, so consider them saved from that policy. They still shouldn't have all their skills though unless Level 9.

Mine currently only has three "unique" skills, and the six perks which come with leveling.... Managed to finish that bio whilst listening to nobs in teamspeak.

No, basically, it works like this, I think.

At lvl 1, you have nothing.

At lvl 3, you get three unique skills, your subset, and every level after that, you get one unique skill and perk.

At level nine, you should have nine unique skills, a bunch of class skills, and six perks.

I'm guessing Asuras wants to be ? Fair enough, that's what I was going for myself. Once he levels up some and figures out what to do with his fury and stuff, let him vent and make use of his RAEG.

That... Still confuses me. So if we're level one, does that mean Arms Slave doesn't actually have any of his skills, like Multi Melee, Chain Catch, and Surviving Suffering? I can understand getting Class-Specific skills at level three like Necromancer abilities for Mages who take that class, but what about before it? Do players just survive off basic attacks and item usage?

You could always edit Arms Slave to be lvl 3.

Yeah, I would think that it'd make sense for them to survive only off basic attacks, regardless of how high the difficulty level for newbies would be. That's why there are Guilds, you know? And it'd force them to get a strong foundation in combat first, instead of just spamming some OP special.

Healers/Wizards might still do the whole lvl1 unique skill thing though, being caster classes.

You may have a total of 9 unique skills. Obviously you'll have all 9 if you're Level 9.

Welp, time to go edit.

I guess I'll have to edit Smitten Kitten's level than, since I just had her use all three her skills in my first post. And I thought you get to chose your class at level three? Like, before that you can fight like a brawler, an assassin, or even a healer but you don't get the class specific skills until you get to level three and start specializing.

Seeing as he was made before the full realization of this policy, there might be some leeway to this, like he can keep one skill.

Didn't realize that was the policy. Didn't exactly have a completed CS to base my own CS off of. I think I was the first one to complete a CS actually... Anyways, I guess I'll go edit. Going to have to lose his 0/0 kill ratio though.

No. Perks are there. Use the ones listed, please, they were made for a reason.

Skills are the things you can make up for yourself. Although everyone's throwing around different ideas of how many Class/Unique skills an Avatar should have, so fuck if I know numbers.

Okay okay, let me try to get this strait.

At level one, you have no skills, only your basic attack (Whatever that may be). You get your first skill at level 2. Your first three skills are unique to your character, while the rest of the skills from 4 up are skills/perks of your chosen class. So in list form:

Level 1 - 0 Skills
Level 2 -1 Skills
Level 3 - 2 Skills
Level 4 - 3 Skills (And now has a class)
Level 5 - 4 Skills
Level 6 - 5 Skills
Level 7 - 6 Skills
Level 8 - 7 Skills
Level 9 - 8 Skills
Max level - 9 Skills

Give or take. Maybe at level one we start with one skill? Still uncertain. I need charts.

I believe that lvl 9 is the max level, so... might wanna fix that a bit.

I'm now convinced about the whole "no unique skills until you reach level 3, then you get 3 skills" thing.
