Gender:

Marine
Crew:

Position:
Captain
Appearance:
Type:
Superhuman
Devils fruit:
Skills:
Despite having no Devil Fruit Levitt is a fighter with great potential. He has shown that he can stand up to Devil Fruit users with just a sword and a gun alone, something which gained him the rank of Captain. Levitt’s weapons of choice are a pistol and a Sabre. Although that doesn’t exactly strike fear into people, what does is his skill in using them.
Levitt is capable of high speed attacks and thanks to his light frame it makes him all the more quicker. He’s trained his right eye to analyze better than his left to the point that if he focuses enough then he could see up to a mile or so without a telescope. He keeps an eye patch on it for the element of surprise. Most people would think he’d be missing an eye or that it’d be blind not expecting that he could actually see better.
Due to this Levitt has been able to outplay those with Kenbunshoku Haki on occasion, and can even predict moves from time to time if he focuses on the target’s body…Although that isn’t necessarily what he uses that eye for. He’s made a technique out of his eye ability. By watching the opponent’s eye(s) he uses their blinking to his advantage, his main thing being as soon as they blink he dashes forward and deals a slash to their torso. He can also use it to dodge an attack more easily or break through a defense by dipping into a spot where the target’s eye field can’t see once they open their eyes again. For his pistol, due to how far he can see, he can also determine how far bullets (And canons and such) will fire and the drop of said bullet.
Personality:
Levitt is a mature and intelligent man with a strong sense of justice, his dislike for pirates coming from a bad childhood with his brother. His goal is to rid of pirates, mostly for the safety of others. Despite that there have been a few pirates he has gotten along with but nonetheless it’s still his job to bring in anyone who raises a Jolly Roger, bad or not.
Levitt is a nice guy on and off the battlefield, usually sparring lives when he can and tries not to cause unnecessary damage. He’s also very respectful but doesn’t let that make him seem like a push-over which he isn’t; he voices his opinion no matter what the situation and only thinks about the safety of others, even if it means battling a higher up.
Bio:
Levitt grew up on a small island with his parents and his baby brother, since Levitt could remember Deuce had always been around, probably because Levitt has always been three years older. They lived a relatively peaceful life that consisted of school, playing with friends, and the occasional family stuff. Though one thing they hated was how early they had to go to bed.
Once they got of age their parents put them into training, separate training of course, they said it was because of some weird fruit that Deuce ate that they couldn’t train with the same master. So while Deuce trained in whatever he did, Levitt was trained in how to use his body and intelligence. He read books and wrote poems for the most of the time, and only a year later did he actually start working on his body. His master made him run up and down large hills for a day straight, rest for a day, then go back to running. That was how he did his speed and stamina training, which worked.
What had taken atleast thirty minutes to get up a single him had taken him five minutes at most by the time his speed and stamina training was done, which for stamina his master threw in a few more things. He would make Levitt stay under water until he was on his last breath, then would pull him out, and repeated that process letting Levitt only take a gasp or two.
After that training was over, while Levitt was resting, his master tied him up and threw him into the ocean…Levitt escaped by holding his breath, forcing his hands back to untie the knot, and swam up to the surface where his master looked down on him soon helping him out of the water. Of course, it was a test…By while he slept? Wasn’t fair! Next part of his training, a few months later, was swordplay. He started off with a wooden sword, where his master told him that swordplay was like writing, it became natural. As he was being taught he was also told don’t act as if the sword was a separate thing, act like it was an extension of your own arm, something that stuck with him even to the present day.
Levitt and Deuce had spent so much time training like their parents wanted that they hardly spent time with their friends, or even their own parents. But they took one day off not bothered to even talk about their training they decided to hang out with their friends, though Levitt had studied enough to have an idea about what Deuce had trained with, his Devil Fruit he accidently ate. A couple hours later a few ships had arrived which no one thought much about, they had transporters to the island from time to time. But once the people got off of the ship they started attacking
everyone, before they could do anything their parents had come to them. His father spoke, “Your time has come, to fight with us. To take over this island and rid everyone of it. The pirates of the night, this is what your training has been for, so you can join your father and mother in battle!”
…Levitt looked around, seeing his friends being attacked and others being slaughtered. He drew his sword staring at his father, bigger and probably more experienced Levitt had doubt he’d be able to do anything. His father called him a man with no loyalty as he backed up to cover Deuce, then he struck forward cutting his father’s arm. A short battle ensued, ending with Levitt dealing the final blow, turned out his father wasn’t that good of a fighter. His master soon appeared, telling him there was no way to win against them all….So he took Levitt and Deuce and led them away. A couple weeks passed with Levitt and Deuce traveling with Levitt’s master, the two weren’t on good terms. Deuce was angry that Levitt had killed their father, not for the fact that he actually killed him but for the fact that he never gave him a chance to explain himself. Levitt had seen Deuce’s point, but he himself was still shaken up about just outright killing his father that way.
His master soon went his own way, saying that Levitt and Deuce should find theirs. Though master was the one who kept Levitt and Deuce together, and without him Levitt and Deuce was a mess. They got into a huge argument over their father, which turned into an actual fight. Deuce revealed his Devil Fruit ability, and his Busoshoku Haki. Due to that he had Levitt on his knees bleeding, though Deuce himself had a few cuts, but not many. He called Levitt weak for only relying on a sword before they parted ways, leaving them alone. Deuce was fifteen at that time, while Levitt was eighteen.
As the years passed Levitt had joined the Marines, not wanting others to experience what he had. Though always keeping in mind why his brother had gotten mad at him. Levitt quickly rose up the ranks after impressing with his skill, even without his right eye he spent years training. He kept his eye secret even to the Marines, only a few knowing about it, not that he got along with or talked to many people in the Marines unless it was for business purposes anyways. Four years had passed since that incident and Levitt knows he’s grown, so has his brother, and Levitt has been looking forward to their reunion.
