A horn was heard, echoing through the forest. From behind a tree, a large dog emerged, followed by another, and a grey wolf, and a giant bear!20 creatures walked towards Jade, and in their midst, walked Erä, leaning on his spear with every step.He wore nothing over his bronzed leather skin. The empty eyes of a stag's skull looked at Jade.'Fear not' Said the dog'For you have been chosen by Erä, lord of the Hunt' Added the bear'He is here to test you' finished the wolf.'He chose you, because you are a survivor' whispered the raven in awe. 'The ways of the primal world are mysterious, it is not only about the hunt it self' The raven landed on Jade's shoulder'Use your strengths, YOUR strengths to prove your worth, my dearest Jade'Erä gestured with his spear, and a small wolf walked out from the pack, growling at Jade. The raven flew up 'I can't help you!' The fork in Jade's hand shivered, and when she looked down she saw she was holding a small, bone trident.

Jade looked at the trident in her hand. She had seen the item in books long when she was small. But she had never used one. But it was just like a gaunt fork right? Both metal and pointy. Atleast that was what she told herself. She tightened her grip on the trident and approached the wolf. She had never seen a wolf in person before. She didnt know if she was suppose to attack the wolf or if he wears going to attack her. But she decided not to wait. She was the hunter not the hunted.

Arcturius thought for a moment about Laslo's offer. If anyone were to best fit the mysterious aspect of the gods, it was the Triplicate. Not even the fellow pantheon knew what they were up to. "You know much of our actions, Master Builder, but I am unaware of the champion you have selected. Who is it you wish us to empower?"

The wolf braced itself and lunged straight into his aggressor.Jade was thrown to the ground, and the beast bit the arm with which she held the weapon. The struggle was short, the two bodies rolled left and right over the forest floor. As the wolf's jaws were about to close around the girl's throat, it hesitated. It held it's position, not moving at all. The forest was silent, as if all held their breath to watch this moment.Erä clenched his spear.

Jade didnt dare move. She had lost the fight but she had been able to get the upper hand a couple of times. She didnt know if she should submit or continue fighting. She knew that the law of the forest was that only the strong survived. And just because you were down didn't mean that you had to be out. She looked at Era. "I don't think you brought me here just to kill me. I will not give up without a fight."

Laslo’s face saddened by the question. His eyes lowered to the ground. “We have no champion of our own.” He said softly. “It is at times like these that men forgets the most important and ancient gods, distracted by the flair and temptations of the young ones.” He looked at the absentminded Erä. “You both sought out your champions, din’t you? They did not come to you, give you sacrifices. You came to them. We want someone to come to us, to seek enlightenment. This takes time.”Laslo held up the shield again. “But with this offer, we make sure that humanity survives. We will call on you when one is chosen.”“War, tradition, hunting and farming, crafting, civilization… We are bound by mortality. As long as they remain, we will remain.”

"It is time soon"The father spoke, he broke his silent watch where he loomed over the world trough the night."The forgotten one draws near. I shall share our prophecy with the mortals soon."A stern gaze went over the other gods. A look that veiled care and worry quite effectively."Do you agree with me on this matter?"
LordMarwain said Tavon appeared before the other gods. "It's a bit rude to talk about the remaining of farming without inviting the god who's domain is just that. By the way, Arcturius, about our chess game, I sent you a messenger to tell you I had to postpone it."

C.C, still with her arms crossed uner her breasts in an attempt tomake them look bigger rised an eyebrow to the boy who obviously did not know how to hold the spear correctly. She was amused by how the boy begged for help"Boy..." She said as she pulled her sword from the sheath on her back "...those who wield a weapon must be ready to die..." She said and walked towards the boy

A sound like thundering hooves and clashing steel, mixing as a rumble of thunder, yet lasting a mere moment, and the God of War appeared beside the young lad."I have seen your bravery, and heard your plea. Take heart, my blessing, and this shield. Fight your foe for honor and the defense of those weaker than yourself. Uphold the codes of combat, and show mercy to those you defeat."The boy, wide-eyed and full of hope, took the shield from Arcturius. Then, standing as tall as he could, faced the savage woman and let out a shout! The villagers crowded around cheered, and the battle began.
