In the town of the Under, A woman laid out the items that she planned on purchasing from the Pokemart. The Shopkeeper looked at the assembled items and raised an eyebrow as he thought of what the woman was planning to do. Velis looked at him and shrugged her shoulders as her Quilava and Croconaw looked up at her. The shopkeeper paused for a moment as he rang up the items and looked at Velis. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you were planning on snagging a Pokemon or two." He said casually. "Six ultra-balls, several full heals and nine lure-balls. I usually don't have people looking for these things."

Velis looked up at him with a stare devoid of emotion. "You'd need a snag machine for that. And as far as I know, Cipher keeps a close eye on those things. Of course, if someone here in the under knew where to get one I'd be willing to compensate them."

"Really?" The shopkeeper said casually as he wrote down a name on a piece of paper and slid it across the counter to Velis who casually grabbed it and placed it in her pocket. "Careful there, Velis. You know that Cipher has eyes everywhere. Even here in the Under."

"I know." Velis said simply. "You helped me out when I first arrived. You kept me safe when Cipher tried to find out if i was down here. And I don't know how to repay you, but I've had a lot of time to think while hiding down here. I've made a decision, I'm bringing the fight to them."

The Shopkeeper sighed heavily. "I guess theres no stopping you. All I can tell you is to keep safe. And if you ever need help, you know where to find me."

Velis nodded and wiped a single tear away as she gave the shopkeeper a quick hug before turning around and walking through the doors. She waited until the doors closed behind her and pulled the piece of paper out and looked down at the the five simple words that were written down.

Pyrite Town
The Old Man

Velis smiled as the two Pokemon followed her as she headed towards the elevator.

"Get ready guys," She said quietly. "Once we start this, there's no going back. She said as she stepped onto the elevator with the two Pokemon.

A young woman walked quickly through Pyrite Town. She kept her head low but was watchful for anyone watching her too closely and walking too fast. Her Gabite was keeping pace with her easily, but was just as alert. To keep from being directly targeted, she had to keep her Metang in its pokeball. If Pyrite wasn't such a Cipher hotspot, it would have been with her and Gabite.

"Do you see anything?" she asked the Pokemon. The male Cave Dragon swept his gaze over their surroundings before dropping his head a little bit but kept his gaze on his trainer. "Ok. Keep calm for now. I know you're on edge, don't go looking for trouble yeah?" she said before she rubbed his neck. He was taller than most other Gabite, and stood just over five feet. The Pokemon gave a small growl un acknowledgment and settled down at the feel of her reassuring hand on his roughened skin. "Good. Let's jeep moving, we need to find this man before night fall." she said before she kept moving. The gabite followed her faithfully.

How long has it been since he had last seen the sun? It was so bright, so brilliant that he had to shield his eye from the light. It's been so long since he felt the rays of the sun on his skin, warming him rather than the cold darkness of The Under. It's not like he disliked The Under, rather he was thankful that it was there for him to hide out for so long though he couldn't stay down there, not until he gave Cipher what for. Keiten was about to let his pokemon out though he decided against it. It would be too dangerous to let a shiny Charmeleon and a shadow Electabuzz out in broad daylight, especially in Pyrite Town. He knew that they would love seeing the sun after spending so much time in the old mine town though in this day and age it just isn't safe.

Keiten walked in Pyrite with caution. He knew that there were people after him still; the mob because he made a fool of them when they didn't successfully hand him over to Cipher and then there was Cipher themselves that want him because of his ability to speak to pokemon and read the hearts of pokemon. Even then in Pyrite especially there are other gangs and thugs that would want to steal his pokemon or the snag machine on his arm.

He walked down the squad where many trainers used to battle often, but now there are very few trainers that actually battled. If they were caught with rare or strong pokemon then they'll probably be confiscated by Cipher Peons unless they themselves were members or supporters of Cipher. He was looking for an old man in Pyrite, someone that knew more about Snag Machines. His Snag Machine worked, but he wanted to know how to stop someone from snagging his pokemon.

A lone Cipher trainer stood guard in the streets of Pyrite, a vivid red blade sheathed at his side. He looked to his watch repeatedly and often, waiting for his shift to be over. It had been a long time since Cipher had begun to take over, so very few people tried to rebel or break free. And even then, most of them were too easy to beat; his leaders decided to send him solo to most of his jobs. "Geez," Faust sighed, contemplating his own situation. He's working for a bunch of murderous criminals whose morals he vehemently disagrees with, but can't just quit because then Agate Village would be put into peril. Based on the strength of the trainers he'd fought so far, a rebellion was probably not going to happen anytime soon, either.

Faust looked at his watch; it was almost time for the night shift to come in. As he looked over towards the small shack of a diner, he saw a girl at the side of his vision. He groaned slightly at this, since fighting was generally dull and quick. "Hey, miss!" Faust called out, dropping his hand to the Pokemon at his side. "You gotta get inside, it's almost curfew." To be honest, Faust couldn't care less about whether people actually followed the rules Cipher set out or not. Rather, he didn't want to have to hurt someone. He had little to no hope that someone would be strong enough to beat Cipher, or for that matter, him.

Velis looked around the former town of Rogues and Scoundrels. It had once been watched over by a man who went by the name Duking who had kept the town from descending into total chaos and was even said to have assisted the heroes who had managed to stop the first two Shadow Pokemon events. But Duking hadn't been seen since Cipher had marched into town and taken over. Some people said that he had been forced to flee the town or lose his life, others said that he somehow managed to keep an eye on the town somehow but was powerless to do anything.

All in all, Pyrite Town was no longer considered a safe town. But it was said that Pyrite was still the place to go if you needed something that you couldn't find anywhere else.

The old man...She thought to herself as she looked around the town. She heard Croconaw let out a soft growl as a small group of people walked past and headed for the Pokemon center. She reached down and gently patted Croconaw on the head, she knew that both of her Pokemon were very protective of her considering what had happened but it wouldn't be a good idea to bring attention to themselves.

"Tell your fortune, miss?" A voice cut through her thoughts.and she turned to look and saw a slightly shorter woman looking at her from the entrance of a building. Velis shook her head and was about to continue on her way when the woman spoke again. "Are you sure? I gather you don't get many fortune tellers in the Under. Why don't you come in and we'll take a look and see what the future holds for you."

Velis's eyes widened in shock. How did this woman know where she was from?! She looked down at Quilava and Croconaw and motioned for them to follow her as she walked inside the building.

"Sit down, child." The woman said with a gentle smile as she sat behind her desk and began waving her hands over a crystal ball. Velis took a seat and watched as the lights began to dim and the crystal ball began to glow slightly.

"I am Fateen, also known as the Mother of Pyrite town." She said slowly as she waved her hands over the Crystal ball. "And I see that what you seek is here...You seek a means to protect others, to keep them from experiencing what you have already gone through...You seek something that can help you achieve your task."

"How do you know this?" Velis asked as she watched Fateen carefully for any signs of treachery.

"I am the Mother of Pyrite town." Fateen said with a knowing smile. "I know many things," She said as she pressed a small button on the side of her desk and a bookcase slid to the side, revealing a small doorway.

Velis turned to look at Fateen and then back at the doorway. "You know the old man?" She asked carefully. Fateen simply smiled and nodded and motioned for Velis to enter the room that the doorway led to.

The girl froze when someone called out to a "Miss". She hoped it wasn't towards her and just kept walking. She didn't want trouble and definitely wasn't looking for trouble or attention. Besides, there were other young woman on the street, if she looked up, she was certain she'd be singled out. She pretended she didn't hear the man and kept walking towards the lone Pokemon Center. It wasn't the safest place for Tinder to be, and she would be limiting the contact anyone had with her Pokemon to the absolute minimum.

Milo walked out of the Pokemon Center in Pyrite town and stretched a little, it may be a long ride till he decides to stop again. "Hey, miss!", Milo looked over and saw a girl walking towards the Pokemon Center, and a Cipher prick yelling. "Hey buddy she's working on it, don't start shouting till they have to be in, otherwise you just annoy everyone!" he called towards the man. Walking towards the girl, "Do you plan to stay here, or do you need a ride out? If you want one, I can take you it'll be a little cozy, but you won't have to deal with Cipher."

He had to be more careful now. It was getting close to curfew and if he was caught outside this late then he'll be in a world of trouble. If only he knew where that man was then he wouldn't be in such a mess. He noticed that a Cipher Peon had called out to some woman on the streets and another guy essentially told him to shut up and mind his own business. As much as he liked to take out that grunt, he couldn't afford getting into trouble just yet.

"Damn it all..." Keiten muttered to himself as he thought of what he should do. A hand touched his shoulder from behind, startling him greatly and he was just about to grab his knife and shank him though he was glad he didn't. The person who touched his shoulder was an old friend, the Gate Keeper of Pyrite, Cail. Relief flooded over him to see at a familiar face and he smiled at the green haired rogue. "It's great to see you again."

Cail on the other hand was sweating a storm at the prospect of being nearly gutted like a fish. "Jesus you're a regular angel of death aren't you?" He said half jokingly as he wiped the sweat off his brow. Ever since Keiten had left For the Under the two had not been able to stay in contact due to the hitman's situation so he was glad to see him again, a bit surprised, but still glad. "So what are you doing back up here? It's worse up here than it is down there." The man folded his arms, furrowing his brow in wonder why Keiten ever came back.

A grim expression had made its way on his face. Should he tell his friend why he came back up only to cause him worry about him even more. He could always turn back, but if he did then he would never be at peace with himself. "I'm...I'm going to put Cipher down."

"What?!" Cail exclaimed at Keiten's declaration. "Are you mad? You know that's suicide!" He didn't want his friend to face an unfortunate fate, too many people had already faced that.

"I know, but I'd soon rather die than not do anything at all Cail." The determination in his voice had pierced through Cail as he looked like he relented to accepting his friend's choice. "I need your help, I'm looking for an old man who's good with machines. Got a clue where he is?"

The green haired man nodded and replied with, "Yeah I know where he is. I'll take you there if you want." Cail sincerely wanted to help him though he knew that he wouldn't be able to do much. At least he could help him to some degree.

"Lead the way Gate Keeper." With that said the two walked off so they could find the old man.

"Are you planning on actually buying anything today?" the shopkeeper sternly prompted the girl who was loitering around the shelves. The hood of her coat had been pulled up over her head so he couldn't clearly see her face but he could only imagine she was, what, 15? 16? A kid like that should be home already, not wandering the shops of Pyrite on her own.

Well, okay, correction, the girl wasn't on her own, not really. She did have a Pokemon with her, a large and hostile-looking Mightyena who was standing protectively by her side. The creature never seemed to relax, it's shoulders always tensed and its jaws seeming to be permanently clenched into a snarl. Ferocious, yes, but the shopkeeper highly doubted that it would stand a chance against one of Cipher's Shadow Pokemon.

At his question, the girl glanced over at him and tilted her head to the side. "Hmm?" she said, seeming a bit dazed for a moment. "Oh, oh yeah! Sorry!" She gave a little laugh before taking a few items off the shelf. Most of them were potions, but she had also grabbed some fruit for herself. She carried them over and placed them on the counter. "I'll buy these."

The shopkeeper glanced down at the potions. She had taken a lot of them. "Hm, I see," he said. He scanned the items for their price. "You travelling somewhere?"

"Something like that," the girl said casually. She began rummaging through her pockets for money.

"That will be 1500 Pokedollars," the shopkeeper said.

The girl continued to searched for the money and, for a moment, the shopkeeper had a feeling she may not have had enough and was wondering about whether he should go easy on the kid or toss her out for wasting his time when she finally brought out the payment, exactly 1500 Pokedollars, and placed it on the table.

"Ta-daaaa," she said, the same way magician might do upon performing a trick.

The shopkeeper frowned but decided against saying anything, instead simply packing up the items in a brown paper bag and handing them to the girl. "There you go," he said. "Now, you better head home. Cipher Peons are crawling all over the streets. If you don't hurry, they might attack you and try to take your Pokemon from you." He glanced at the Mightyena, who was snarling viscously up at him.

"Thank you," the girl said cheerfully, not seeming to worried by this warning. She picked up the bag and exited the PokeMart, her Mightyena hurrying after her. Once they were out of the shop, the girl breathed a heavy sigh of relief. "Thank Arceus," she muttered aloud. "For a minute there, I thought he was gonna start asking all sorts of questions." She glanced down at her companion. "Well, Jasper, chow time!"

At this, the Mightyena's usual hostile position melted away and she looked up at her trainer with wide eyes, wagging her tail cheerfully. "Gur raa! Ra!" she barked happily.

The girl grinned and took an apple from the bag before crouching down to the Mightyena's level. "That's right, Jasper! Who's a good girl for not attacking the nosey old shopkeeper?" she said, waving the apple in front of the Mightyena's nose.

"Ark! Aaark!" the Mightyena, Jasper, barked in reply.

The girl giggled. "That's right! You are, you are!" she said. She then reached out to give the apple to the Pokemon, who readily snapped it up in her jaws and began munching down on the juicy red fruit. The girl laughed at this. "You must have been hungry," she said. She smiled softly and placed a hand on the Mightyena's head as the Pokemon continued eating.

The girl, Justine, gave a deep sigh as she watched Jasper for a moment longer. It had been a hard few months for them ever since they had left home. Even with all the money she had taken from her mother, she wasn't sure how she was going to afford to keep them all fed and cared for while they searched for answers. Sure, they were able to spend night in hotels and food was currently not too much of a worry, but on top of buying all that and buying supplies for battle, she wasn't sure how they were going to cope. For a moment, a small doubt began to form in her mind. Was she doing the right thing? Was she really going to be able to take Cipher down and rescued her father all on her own? She only had two Pokemon, Jasper here and a Meditite named Coral, who was currently resting in his Pokeball, and neither were particularly high-leveled. Did she...

She shook her head, trying to shake those doubts away. No. I can't think like that, she thought. What would Dad think of me if saw me giving up so easily? Besides, this can't continue! Cipher can't be allowed to continue ruling like this! She stood up to her full height, her usual grin now replaced with a determined expression. Jasper, by now finished eating, glanced up at her trainer, suddenly alert now that the girl's mood had changed.

"Come on, Jasper," Justine said. "We gotta find ourselves a place to stay." With that, she began walking down the street, Jasper quickly following after.

As the duo walked down the streets of Pyrite, Cail noticed Justine walking down the street as well though he never recognized her. She certainly wasn't from around here since he sees most of the people enter the town as their gate keeper. "Oi girl, you better be careful out here. Nighttime in Pyrite isn't for wandering." He told her as soon as they crossed paths. He wasn't trying to be rude, he was being honest. Pyrite was already dangerous enough as it was during the day. At night it's even worse especially with the Cipher Peons roaming around.

Keiten looked at the girl who was around his age though he did appear slightly older to the fact he was missing an eye and had a giant scar on his face where his eye used to be. Thankfully he wore an eyepatch though the scars were still visible. "He's right, unless you have some strong pokemon it isn't a good idea to roam around for too long." He smiled down at the Mightyena that was beside her.

As Justine made her way down the street, she heard someone call out and looked over to see two young men looking over at her. Her shoulders tensed slightly out of caution, though they didn't seem like bad people. On the contrary, their words indicated they were concerned for her well-being, which was completely reasonable considering what she had heard of Pyrite recently.

However, while Justine didn't seem too worried about the two strangers, Jasper got into a defensive position and started growling immediately at the men. This wasn't unusual: Jasper was aggressive to pretty much everyone beside Justine and her family. Apparently, the Pokemon had always been like that. Her dad had told her when he had given Jasper to her as a Poochyena that Jasper was intended to be trained as a Police Pokemon but her over-hostility had made her difficult to train. Jasper had been pretty aggressive towards Justine in the beginning, but had eventually warmed to the girl and even taken the duty upon herself to protect Justine no matter what. It was touching, Justine had to admit, but it also meant that, during the early days, Justine had to restrain Jasper a lot when they were in the company of others, for fear the Dark type would attack. She wasn't so bad these days, thank Arceus, but Jasper's signature greeting to strangers always remained a snarl.

"Hey, Jasper, don't be like that," Justine told the Pokemon. "It's rude." On that command, Jasper stopped snarling, yet her body remained tensed and defensive. Justine then glanced over at the two men and gave a grin. "Heh, thanks for the warning," she said. She paused before suddenly realising that this would be a perfect time to ask for some directions. "Actually, we're just looking for a place to rest for the night. You guys wouldn't happen to know of one?"

Thanks to Keiten's ability to understand and speak to pokemon, he understood what that Mightyena said and boy is that thing vicious. He knew that pokemon can be defensive though this pokemon certainly was cautious of strangers although he couldn't blame it. After all, in this day and age it's hard to trust almost anyone. "Yeah, there is only one hotel in Pyrite. It's a bit pricy though if it's just for the night you should be fine. It's right across from the pokemart." He pointed to the direction of the pokemart she only just had came from. The hotel, compared to the rest of the town it looks fairly more upscale and well maintained though again sleazy people also stay there though it's certainly safer than just staying out on the streets.

"Do you want us to walk you down or do you think you'll be fine?" Cail asked her. He really didn't care if she said yes or no though he didn't feel right about not asking anyway. After all, this place is dangerous and he didn't want to have the thought of a Cipher Peon attacking her on his head anyway.

Justine considered the offer for a moment. Sure, the more people she was with the less likely she was going to be attacked - safety in numbers and all that - yet at the same time, she couldn't be entirely certain these guys weren't working with or in cahoots with Cipher. It seemed the evil organisation had eyes and ears everywhere these days and Pyrite was probably the worst case for it. On a less paranoid note, though, the idea of troubling strangers more than she needed to seemed discourteous. "I wouldn't want to be a burden," she said, keeping her smile in place. "I can get there easily by myself. Plus, I got Jasper here to protect me."

At these words, Jasper held her head up slightly as a show of pride at her trainer's praise.

As the girl continued walking, Faust started getting confused as to whether she didn't hear him or if she was ignoring him. Suddenly, a thought went through his mind: Why did he specifically ask that person to clear out? Maybe it her clothes made her stick out? He didn't get much time to think about it though, since a man started shouting at him for shouting at her. Faust shook his head slightly at this, since he actually had good intent. "I suppose people are kind of biased against Cipher...." he thought to himself before checking his watch. Just as he did that, a quiet beeping noise started; he'd forgotten that he had set an alarm for the end of his shift. "Ah, right...." Faust said to himself, gladly taking in the slight relief that he was freed from the burden of being a Cipher. For the time being, anyways. He still had to do it tomorrow. Nonetheless, he headed off to the diner, a bag with his usual clothes in hand.

Changing in the bathroom there, Faust thought about Agate Village. It was probably notably better than other places, since it was "protected" from Cipher, but he hadn't been able to visit since he left. As Faust thought about the village, for some reason, he also began to feel something familiar about that girl he saw earlier. He really couldn't figure out why, but it was probably the same reason that he tried to get her out of the streets. Pausing for a moment, Faust suddenly picked up his stuff and left for the hotel.

"Faust, where are ya headin'?" asked the hostess as Faust walked out the door.

"I'm taking a rest tonight. You guys can handle this many customers easily, and I've got something I need to think about.

He took his time heading to the hotel; the peons wouldn't bother him even they tried to fight him. Nonetheless, he was somewhat worried for the small group outside. Sure, three of them would easily take down one of those wimps, but they'd probably call in reinforcements. It'd be much safer for him to escort them over, even if only a short distance. Faust kept a watch from the shadows, ready to jump in should a Cipher peon approach them. He figured that, it being dark AND Pyrite Town, they'd be less spooked if he just didn't approach them. This was probably not the case.

Velis carefully stepped through the doorway and found herself in what seemed to be some sort of tunnel leading to steel covered door. It looked to be heavily reinforced. Was she supposed to knock? Was she supposed to try and break the door down? She looked down at Quilava and Croconaw and shrugged her shoulders as she thought about what to do.

"What do you guys think?" She asked the two Pokemon as she looked back at the door. The flames on Quilava's back shot up as the locking devices on the door began to click and retract as it began to open and Croconaw let out a growl. The door continued to click as more and more locks were unlocked and finally the door swung open.

"You may come in." A voice called from the inside of the dim room. Velis cautiously walked in with her two Pokemon following close behind her. She saw three men leaning over a table and on that table was a peculiar looking device.

"- You think the new machine is ready? All the bugs have been worked out?" A large heavily muscled man asked. Velis could have sworn she had seen his face somewhere before but she couldn't place it. Another heavily muscled man looked over at the other man. This one had a mustache and was wearing battered red clothing.

"I don't see how we have much of a choice. Cipher is most likely planning another move as we speak. For all we know they could be preparing to crack down on what few spies we have left in their organization. Besides, I can't wait for some payback. Cipher used my gang and then tried getting rid of us when we served out purpose."

"Enough you two." Another voice cut through the other two voices as a leaner man with grey hair slowly rose to his feet and turned to look at Velis. "It appears our guest is here."

The two other men stood up straight and looked at Velis as the man with the grey hair stepped forward. "Greetings trainer. It looks like Fateen managed to come through for us once again. She always did have a good sense of someone's personality. I am Professor Krane."

"The name's Duking. I used to keep order in this town" The heavily muscled man said as he extended a hand which Velis hesitantly shook. The man with the mustache who was almost as heavily muscled as Duking also extended his hand. "My name is Gonzap. And I used to run Team Snagem." He muttered as Velis let go of Duking's hand and shook Gonzap's.

Professor Krane looked over Velis and her Pokemon. "What are Pokemon to you?" He asked bluntly. "Allies? Fighters? Means to an end?"

Velis looked at him and shook her head. "None of those things." She said quietly. "They're my best friends. When Cipher attacked my home, I lost my family. These two look after me as much as I look after them. I'd be lost without them." She said honestly. Krane smiled.

"That is the correct answer. I'm glad Fateen brought you to us. There are others in this town that have potential, but you seem to have a good heart and your Pokemon seem to trust you as much as you trust them. Please, have a seat on the bench over there."

Velis was a bit confused but she complied and sat down on the nearby bench.

Pyrite Town

Fateen took a deep breath of the cool evening air and smiled as she saw a small group of young trainers walk by. Fateen had learned to trust her feelings about people after experiencing them for many years and her feelings were telling her that these trainers had potential for what needed to be done.

"Pardon me, she said with a gentle smile on her face. "But do you young ones need a place to stay for the night?" She asked. "That dreadful hotel up the street is usually crowded and often has Cipher personal checking the rooms for rare Pokemon. And the Pokemon center is always crowded."

The girl looked up startled when a man spoke up in her defense. She eyed him carefully, in case he was a Cipher spy or agent. "I..uh...I need to stay here, but thank you, sir." her Gabite growled at the man protectively and glared at the man's hand.

Tinder was HIS and no male should dare lay his grubby little fingers on her.

This was a common occurrence to the young woman, and she responded with a gentle laugh. "Relax, my friend. I trust you." she said and laid her hand on the pokemon's neck again. The Gabite growled in contentment and settled at her reassurance. Tinder looked at the man again, "Thank you again, sir." she shifted away from him and began to walk away when a woman spoke to them.

She was wary, but something about the woman relaxed her. "Um...yes, thank you for your kindness. I will find a way to repay you." she said with a polite bow.

"Calm down little man, you can keep her," Milo said looking at the Gible deciding to try and pet him instead to calm him down. Instead it resulted in a nip, "I got you little man." Milo was almost oblivious to the woman who came out and offered them a place to stay for the night. Looking around skittishly he eventually came to the decision, "If it's not to much trouble, I'll do my best to stay out of the way."

Milo walked over to his ride, grabbed the climbing gear to act as his pillow, and his guitar no way would he leave that out all night. "Thank you again," he began walking towards the woman, then realized the other girl said yes to, turning around and smiling back to her, "Looks like we're roomies now, so guess I need to introduce myself to both of you my name is Milo. So whats yours?"

Plus, I got Jasper here to protect me."At these words, Jasper held her head up slightly as a show of pride at her trainer's praise.

"Suit yourself kiddo, but be careful out there." Cail told Justine. He offered their assistance and she declined so whatever happens to her is just not their heads. "However, the hotel does get raided quite often by Cipher so how about this? I'll ask a favor of a friend for you to stay for the night, we're going to go see her tonight anyway." It was a suggestion that would probably benefit her since it isn't too safe in the hotel either and besides, it's the same destination they're already going to.

Keiten looked at Cail and back at the girl. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm in a bit of a hurry." Normally he is cool and composed though being out in the open at night especially made him stand of edge. He didn't want to attract attention yet.

Nodding at his friend's anxiety to hurry up, he told to the girl, "We are in a bit of a rush so if you feel like coming with us then follow us. If not then do what you want." Cail said to her and then the duo began to walk down the street down to their destination.

As the two men began to walk away, Justine glanced down at Jasper. "What do you think?" she asked the Mightyena.

Jasper's only response was a simple, incomprehensible growl.

Justine gave a deep sigh. "That's not very helpful, you know," she muttered. She wasn't entirely sure whether she could trust those two. At least with the hotel, she knew what she was getting into. Cipher peons raiding the hotel rooms? That was to be expected, but if she went with these two, she would have no idea what to expect. On the other hand, if they were telling the truth and they knew someone who could provide her safe shelter, that would help her keep a low profile until she could figure out what she was going to do.

What was she going to do, anyway? Beat up a bunch of Cipher grunts until they told her where her father was? Sure, that idea did sound pretty appealing, but it probably wouldn't get her anywhere. They probably wouldn't tell her a thing.

She gave another sigh. "I'll probably end up regretting this," she muttered to Jasper before the two of them began hurrying after Cail and Keiten. "Wait up!" she called to them. "We'll come with!"

Keiten and Cail both stopped and looked behind them to see that the lass decided follow them. There was some relief to know that she made a good choice though once she caught up with them they went back to walking until the three of them found themselves standing outside one of the rusted metal houses. Keiten looked at Cail and asked, "This is the place?" Right now he could turn back though he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he did. If he could find out how to counter act pokemon snagging then he could have an edge against Cipher. He knew that if he went through with this, he will never be able to take it back. He would have to see it through to the very end or at least until he died.

Nodding in response, Cail knocked on the door hard. "Oi old hag, I have someone who needs to see the geezer and someone who needs a place to stay the night." He said rather loudly with his crude mouth.
