"Stand your ground, and fight, you spineless fools. Dying is the day worth living for."
-Kuro Nakatomi, upon arriving to aid an ambushed group of vampires

Name: Kuro Nakatomi

Physical Age: 15

Actual Age: 1514

Personality: Kuro, even though considered as one of the elder vampires, is notorious for being soft-spoken, and a bit aloof even when around vampires who were of the lower rank than him. This demeanor led many, if not all, to conclude that Kuro demanded no respect. No one is to be blamed, because Kuro really commanded no amount of respect. He always smiled, addressed people informally, and perhaps one of his most famous acts, took a nap (even though he didn't really need it; it can be viewed as him showing his lack of interest in the subject) while an important meeting was being held. He is also famous for his childish manners such as fascination for toys, inclination to pick his nose, and even play child games. Kuro has a childlike voice since he wasn't able to get his voice to deepen when he was still alive, and as such, even if he was saying something serious, it wouldn't really be taken seriously; Kuro isn't really bothered by it though. However, he still is an elder vampire, and as such, can still strike fear in the (undead) hearts of his subordinates. An example of this would be during an ambush by the Black Swords where lesser vampires were in danger of annihilation. They were about to just surrender their wills when suddenly, Kuro arrived, and with only two sentences, he strengthened the spines of his allies, assuring them a victory. This means that Kuro can be serious (really serious) when the situation demands it, but most of the time, he is literally a kid.

Bio:

Skills: While Kuro possesses all of the common vampiric abilities, he is famous for being a virtuoso in the field of Metamorphosis. Kuro has a legendary aptitude for transforming into a bat and as such, he can grow wings while maintaining his human form. Not only that but he also possesses the rare addition of being able to manipulate a swarm of bats even when he had already grown his wings. Kuro's wings are also noticeably bigger than most vampires, and even more endurance, and flight speed. Kuro also possesses a very strong grasp of Hypnosis, as this is his main tool to manipulate the enemies of Yoritomo and Nobunaga such as Kiyomori, and even Mitsuhide Akechi in order for his chosen team to get an edge. Kuro is poorly skilled when it comes to Necromancy, mostly because he respects the dead, and he sees necromancy as defilement of those who had entered the Blessed Sleep.

Kuro is also skilled when it comes to Tantojutsu or Dagger Fighting Style. While he does carry a katana, he often uses the short tanto which is hidden inside his left sleeve. While he isn't as smart as the ancients, he does possess a decent amount of intelligence to match even the greatest thinkers of human comparison.

Anything Else:
Kuro is extremely lenient when it comes to his subordinates, and as such, even if a lesser vampire would trashtalk him, he would just smile. He always wears a kimono, the same kimono that the Maiden gave him to wear.

One of Kuro's fatal flaws is the fact that he doesn't kill just any human. He GREATLY prefers those humans who are criminals or evildoers. As such, he is very picky, and will only drain the blood of the innocent when he is insanely desperate.

That was quite a bit of reading you gave me. I like this guy, especially your mention of him partaking in the Sengoku Period's wars. Actually, my only complaint about his bio is that I'm pretty sure it's spelt Ieyasu, not Iemitsu.
(I remember this because I main the Japanese in Age of Empires 3)

With all that said and done, Kuro's pretty cool. I'll be adding him to the hider immediately.

"Over the course of the 1630s, Iemitsu issued a series of edicts restricting Japan's intercourse with the outside world. Japanese, who had since the 1590s traveled extensively in East and Southeast Asia (and, in rare instances, much farther afield), were now forbidden from leaving the country, or returning, under pain of death. Europeans were expelled from the country, with the exception of those associated with the Dutch East India Company, who were restricted to the manmade island of Dejima, in Nagasaki harbor." (Wikipedia, because why not)

I think it was during Iemitsu's reign (Hidetada's eldest son; Hidetada(2nd ruler) was Ieyasu's(1st ruler) descendant) that Japan was closed to the outside world. Pretty much, Kuro returned after the reign of Ieyasu and Hidetada.

But that's just history :D Thanks for the acceptance!

Name: Greyson Moore

Physical Age: 19

Actual Age: 65

Personality:
Despite all the bad she has seen in the world, all the bloodshed and evil, Greyson remains a relatively kind soul. She is quiet and approachable, the sort of person who you would entrust with your deepest and most guarded secrets. Greyson actively seeks out friendships with others. She enjoys having companions, and wants to be close to people. But if the line from friendship to romance is crossed, she becomes uncharacteristically closed-off, retreating into a shell.

Naivety is Greyson's largest flaw. She is inherently trusting of people, and can easily be convinced to do things for others when her gut instinct tells her otherwise. This trait has resulted in her vampirism, and has nearly cost Greyson her life. She believes everyone has a reason for their actions, some justifiable and good motive. In Greyson's eyes, no one is evil.

In regards to her existence as a vampire, Greyson has mixed feelings. She views immortality as a gift, a way to indulge her curiosity of the world and see everything. However, she is burdened with guilt every time she is forced to take a life. Usually, she feeds without killing. However, there have been cases when murder was accidental or necessary.

Bio:
Greyson was born in a small town in England in 1949, where she lived until she was 18. The quiet town suited her well. She was not an adventurous person, and didn't go out often. Most of her days were spent at home, working on paintings and charcoal sketches, or reading novels. Her idea of a good time was having her closest friends over for dinner and playing some simple card game after. In 1967, Greyson graduated and decided to move to London. There, she spent a year trying to pursue a career as a painter. She was skilled at her craft, but no budding artist has an easy time making a living. After a year, she found herself living alone in a one-bedroom apartment, struggling to pay rent. It was then that she met Takeshi, and her trusting nature let her down for the first time.

Takeshi was a five-hundred year old vampire, with a reputation for turning unsuspecting humans into vampires, and leaving them to fend for themselves. To Greyson, he was a twenty-four year old art enthusiast hailing from Japan. Nearly every evening, he would stop by the small studio she shared with several other artists to see what she was working on. Takeshi bought several of her larger pieces, funding her apartment rent and material costs for several weeks. He displayed a genuine interest in her work, and it didn't take the girl long to develop feelings for him. They began seeing each other. Two months later, she had him over at her apartment for a dinner date. He brought a bottle of wine, and convinced her to share a glass with him before the meal. The two were sitting on the couch, Takeshi asking Greyson about one of her paintings, when he leaned in close. With a nervous thrill, Greyson had believed her might kiss her. Instead, his teeth went for her neck, and he proceeded to force her to drink some of his own blood. Takeshi left before she finished the process of changing, and Greyson was left alone in her apartment; confused, terrified, and disgusted.

The next few weeks were a steep learning curve. Her paintings became the least of her worries, she had to learn how to deal with the insatiable thirst for blood. It didn't take long before she received an eviction notice for not keeping up with her rent. She spent the next decade trying to figure out how to live this new life. She learned to feed without killing, and always tried to assure her victims that everything would be all right. Not that it ever helped much.

It wasn't until the year 2012 that she next saw Takeshi. He sought her out, along with nearly every other vampire he had created over the past two hundred years. Takeshi was one of the leaders of the force that intended to strike Japan, and he was building up the forces under his command. In total, he had over sixty fledgling and young vampires. When he found Greyson again, he resorted to his charming trickery. He pretended to still have feelings for her. He pretended he had been looking for her for the past half a century, and wanted her to return to Japan with him. Greyson, quick to forgive and eager to see the best in others, was hesitantly convinced.

When the battle began in 2014, she was forced into the front lines. She didn't fight, only tried her hardest to flee. Greyson sustained massive injuries, and was nearly killed dozens of times. She hid in basements and subway networks, trying to consume enough blood to stay alive and heal her wounds. Finally, towards the end of the month, she managed to get out of the city. Hearing of the sanctuary outside of Kyoto, she began her journey. She will arrive weak and exhausted, with many of her wounds still healing.

Skills:
For her age, under a century, Greyson is uncannily adept at the use of hypnosis. It isn't at the full mind-control state, but she can be very persuasive to unsuspecting humans. For the past decade, she often used her hypnosis as a sort of anaesthetic while feeding.

As a human, Greyson was a skilled artist. That trait never left her. Not that she has much use for it anymore, but she remains a talented painter.

Anything Else:
Greyson stands at 5'4", with a very slender build. She has little muscle, and so would lose a fight against another vampire, but could usually hold her own against a human.
She typically dresses in simple clothing, with no strong ties to any particular decade. Often straight or fitted pants, paired with a loose white v-neck or a comfortable sweater.

Name: Krov piyavki

Physical Age: 31

Actual Age: 129

Personality: Cold, ruthless, distant, he doesn't enjoy the company of people. He is scarred by the atrocities of war, and he sometimes gets frustrated when people do not understand what he has been through. He doesn't really like children or young people; he finds them arrogant and ignorant to true pain. For making him go through war, he hates humans, and enjoys killing them.

Bio: Krov was born in 1885 to two very poor parents. His family lived in small dilapidated shack like house on the outskirts of Moscow. Krov's father grew chickens, and every day traveled into Moscow to try and sell eggs to any passersby. He hardly got any money from his job. However, he was poorly educated and no one would hire him. Krov's mother was also uneducated and also didn't have a job. However, for many years, the family was happy, except the fact that they mostly ate eggs for meals!

However, alright things cannot last. When Krov was 6, his father died from Tuberculosis. The family lost all money, and the house began to rot, and the family began to starve. Krov's mother would refuse to do anything about it however. She was tied to the house where her one true love had died. She began to go a bit crazy, twitching and setting an extra plate of eggs down on the table, as if someone would eat it. However, none of this affected Krov. He just went along with what was going on.

But one day, Krov's mother snapped. She began to destroy things, yelling, screaming and crying, and throwing food around the house. Krov hid behind a wardrobe, until his mother found him, and began to attack him. Krov escaped her grasp and ran out of the house, never to return. His mother stayed in the house, and eventually died from the same disease that had killed her husband.

For the next 20 years, Krov lived as a beggar and a thief. He pick-pocketed people, and shoplifted to get his daily amount of food. He was always quite good at this. He was only caught once, but escaped when the capture turned away. He sometimes broke into rich people's houses to watch the parties, but usually ended up stealing something from the back room, or pick pocketing a richer person. He heard about all the growing issues in Europe, but thought nothing of it. Then he saw some army recruitment posters. He thought it would be a good way to earn some money; the army wasn't choosy about who they took. But if he knew what was coming, he would have thought differently.

World war I started. Krov couldn't back out. Anyone in the army was forced to fight in the war. Krov thought about escaping. He couldn't. There were eyes everywhere. If he was caught, he would be punished harshly. Possibly even executed. So he was forced to fight. Krov was scarred by what he saw. Innocent men being killed for nothing than being from a different country. That's when he began to despise his fellow humans for their crimes against purity. Krov never killed anyone.

One day, he was on a scouting mission with a fellow soldier. Little did they know that a sniper had them in their sights. The other soldier noticed before Krov, and ducked. Krov was shot 3 times in the stomach. The fellow soldier, seeing his comrade about to die. Cut himself, and dropped some blood into Krov's open mouth. Of course, this other soldier turned out to be a vampire. Krov, alive but unconscious, was carried back to the base. The vampire who saved Krov's life told no one.

Krov survived the war, but was forced to feed off the blood of dead bodies to survive. When the war finished, the vampire who saved Krov's life pulled him aside and told him everything. Told him why he was needing to feed off dead bodies, and why he couldn't do any more missions in the sunlight. After getting back home, Krov migrated to a far off village in Siberia, to live a quiet life. He fed off the villagers of the town for many years.

Then he heard about the bomb in Japan going off. He would have stayed in the village, but Krov was discovered after a failed feeding attempt. He fled to Japan. There would be easy prey there, in the form of victims. The journey took many years, but he arrived, and found feeding easy. He fed off the sleeping, going from building to building in Tokyo. Then he heard about the uprising. He joined the vampires and killed many for his side, even turning a few into vampires. But then the black swords struck, most of his friends fell, and Krov managed to escape to a small shack on the outskirts, in an area popular with tourists for its flowers and old buildings. He fed off them, until he heard the message of Hisako.

He traveled to Kyoto, and entered the sanctuary. That is where he is now.

Skills: He is skilled with weapons, and is quite good at sword fighting. He has quite a good aim with a bow. He is a master of keeping to the shadows, after his days as a petty thief and a pickpocket. He learned hand to hand combat from some of his fellow soldiers in WWI.

Anything Else: He has a thick accent, but his voice displays no emotion.

It's a nice side-benefit, but that wasn't my intent ^_^;

Anyway, Krov Piyavki is accepted. I read his entire CS in a thick Russian accent, which made the below sentence hilarious to me.
KaijuBaragon said His family lived in small dilapidated shack like house on the outskirts of Moscow.

Never in my life have I been so happy that somebody skipped a one-letter word.

Name: Karina Silvers

Physical Age: 11

Actual Age: 11 (3 months as a vampire)

Personality:
-Cute, likes to give nicknames
-Somewhat cowardly
-Wants to be violent, but usually runs away at the sight of a weapon
-Very sensitive
-Sometimes selfish
-Loves to look nice

Bio:
Karina was born in Florence, Italy, where her mother had been working as a famous artist. Born into a very wealthy family, as a child, Karina had many tutors and pets, but never really learnt anything very useful... She would always keep her tiny Pomeranian puppy, Plinky, with her in her pale pink basket, even when she went to school; it wasn't like the teachers there could complain, anyway- the Silvers probably paid for half of the staff. Anyways, Plinky, as you can see, was very important to the girl- and when he was killed in a car accident a few months ago, Karina, in a fit of grief, ran out of the house, not really caring where she went. After a while, Karina realized she was lost, and, tears already beginning to form in her eyes, the girl could only lie down on the concrete sidewalk and hope that her parents would find her.
In the middle of the night, Karina, having fallen asleep, was rudely awakened by a wandering vampire who had been part of the army that had tried to attack Japan. Wanting revenge against the humans, he had been turning as many people into vampires as he could, and seeing a vulnerable little girl lying on the concrete, inserted a little bit of his own blood into her through a bite on the shoulder and quickly left, leaving Karina to learn to the basics of... vampire-ism. Eventually, after an hour of crying and wailing, some of the family's private police came to pick up the girl, and left her with her worried parents. She tried to forget about what happened with the 'creepy pervert', but Karina couldn't ignore her strong thirst for blood, and ended up keeping to her room for hours, feeding off of her small pets. Of course, she felt horrible about it- and no matter how much her parents pleaded, the girl would not come out of her room... until one day, after school, a group of vampires had been passing by, and recognizing the marks of a vampire on the small schoolgirl, took her with them to Kyoto's sanctuary, explaining to her parents about an 'educational camp for talented children'.

Skills:
-Can fence... somewhat
-Can speak Spanish, Italian, Japanese and French as a result of her tutoring
-Makes many friends, usually the first to break through someone's tough exterior

Anything Else:
-Karina will be pretty useless at first in combat, but I'm hoping that someone can teach her to fight... eventually
