Right.
Name: Berelain Winters
Physical Age: 21
Actual Age: 50
Personality: Berelain knows, though experience, how to keep a cool head in most situations. She usually comes off polite, and friendly but also with a solidity of character that diswades anyone who things she would be easy to push over because of her friendliness. She fails to understand most sarcasm, and subtle emotions are lost on her, which has been known to lead her into trouble, but she is always capable of getting herself out of it with her skill set.
She is having trouble adapting to her new vamperic life, even after 19 years of it. While the advantages, speed and perception, turning into a bat and all that are fun, the inability to step into the sun ever again, and the need to feed off people's blood are a bit unerving. Plus, the race of vampire is nearing it's end, and Berelain fears she will drift from this second lif ebefore she has even had a chance to truly begin it.
Bio: Born in England, in 1964, Berelain always desired to help people in life, since she was born just over a dozen years after the ending of the second World War. Throughout her entire life, utilizing the new freedom that was won by the women in the war, she protected everyone who fell foul of school bullies, every by intimidating them, or scrapping if it came down to that. She won as often as she lost, and the children - both boys and girls - tried to dissuade her from her path as a 'protector' whenever the did beat her, but only stoked her fire. Once she finished her primary school days and moved onto her secondary school, Berelain decided to take up training so she would not be left behind by the natural growth of male bodies. Over time, Berelain became fit, and a potent adversity, so most people left her alone, since getting beaten by a girl - even a six foot girl with a slightly toned body - was considered to be embarrassing. After her graduation, Berelain decided to go where she could protect people the most, and do the biggest good, so she joined the Army.
Her training was difficult, and she saw several people drop out from lack of fitness or comparability, but Berelain persevered and never let anything keep her down, training herself all the more, adding military to her list of practices, and becoming a considerably proficient woman with a rifle. Eventually managed to pass her final tests, and joined the Royal Green Jackets beginning active service in the British Armed Forces. Berelain put her skills to good use, and they where honed over the years, along with the rest of her, and so when the summer came around, she headed to Sennybridge in the Brecon Beacons and joined the SAS Selections. However, she underestimated how brutal the tests would be in comparison to mainstream army, and failed the Fan Dance, being returned to her unit.
However, the failure was far from smothering her spirit, and she now knew what she was facing, so worked on her own fitness and her own abilities even more than she had previously, giving herself more vigorous routines than ever. The following year, Berelain took to the selections again, this time succeeding the test, and elevating her spirits to new heights. She knew the rest of the test would be just as difficult, but she was confident that she could pass them. But then, half way though her Initial continuation training, she met Him. The Man who changed everything. The meeting was at dusk, the sun had gone down the horizon, and Berelain was heading back to her bunk when he crossed her path. The next part, blurred. As if she had been more tired than she had previously thought. All she could remember was this handsome man, and a sharp pain in her neck. As it turned out, the man was not a native, or at least had not been back in a long time, and thought to take Berelain as a souvenir of his trip.
The first night of her Vamperism was a messy one, since she was on a ship bound to Japan, and when she found out what had happened, she tried to kill The Man for turning her into a monster. She had never really been religious, but Vampires where not the friendliest of sorts regardless. She nearly succeeded, with her new vamperic strength coupled with her considerable combat training. And The Man underestimating her at first did not hurt chances, but when he finally took Berelain seriously, the match was quickly over. Then, to a struggling woman, explained her predicament. When he finished, Berelain slumped, knowing there was little she could do to change matters, so she did what she always did, and started to try and learn to live with them. Her new abilities made her already considerable physical strength and perception much greater, and she thought that if a weapon would allow her, she could knock snow-mounds from mountains in the far distance. However, she never forgot the underhanded way she had been turned, and the fact that she would have to kill to survive. Losing the sun wasn't to bad though, she never really liked that thing.
Skills: A young Flegling, Berelain has few abilities that older vampires boast, but the vampirism that she has contracted increases her already considerable proficiency with weaponry, both projectiles and combat knives, as well as her unarmed training working in perfect synergy with her vamperic strength.
Anything Else: Not a Police Girl.
