I’m surprised that everyone isn’t just sending the evil eye in Ba’al’s direction right now. Of course, he couldn’t have known that the dragon would go Super Saiyan…

Well, he should have! Because... uhm.. because!

Sorin is the one to blame, not Ba'al.

... Saber already really did not like what she saw. This made it worse.

... Nonon just thought it was gross.

Wow, I mean Sorin. Sorin’s the one with the evil magic powers, Ba’al’s the evil space worm. Right, got it.

To be honest, I'd been forgetting for a while to have Vash react to that zombie dragon thing.

But then the big dragon fight started and yeah he's been a bit too distracted to take note. I guess that'll finally change in my next post (though said post may take a while...).

No worries, this rp is one of those ones where everything's really casual and takes a bit. XD

Also undead making/eating dragon is naturally super effective against undead for good reason.

Eh. The fight scenes always seem super-hectic for some reason. @_@

Dear lord, i never realized how hammy Sazh's Japanese voice actor is. Problem is, there's no other video I found that exclusively displays only Sazh's summon in the English version, so just try to keep in mind Sazh's English voice in this RP. It fits him better.

So… Should I go ahead and post as Sazh ignored Kane? I mean, I understand why he wouldn’t as the dragon transforming would take attention away. I’m just not sure if that was on purpose or if his interaction was simply missed.

Here’s a question, has the concept of foreign language ever come up? It seems like everyone here uses English, but what if someone were to come along with no understanding of it? I'm talking about characters by the way, not RP'ers.

It's ignored. Archer is speaking Japanese, for one. As is Nonon.

Right, so it’s basically magic mumbo jumbo that translates one’s language into your own. I ask because I was thinking of specific characters that jumped from one reality into modern day Japan, and in their situation they couldn’t originally speak Japanese; so I was essentially imagining all the hijinks I could potentially come up with if I were to play one of them in trying to come up with a way to bridge the language barriers. I don’t know, the idea of people having to come up with creative ways to communicate just seems interesting.

Well with all the things that get dragged into the city from so many different universes, I'm sure they were bound to get a TARDIS translation circuit at some point.

I always assume characters just hear and read everything in their native language, really.

Well, I'd say it's a safe bet that Ba'al has at least a passing knowledge of all the major modern Earth languages, as well as Goa'uld, Phoenician, Canaanite, and other languages from that time period common to the Mediterranean region. Other than that, Space Voodoo translators for the win.

Yeah, I assumed the same.

That's kind of what I was getting at with the joke about the translation circuits, since they essentially work the same way.

Guess it's just a thing with interplanar beings, since Planeswalkers all seem to conveniently speak the same language, despite being from different dimensions. I guess Sorin is speaking, idunno, Innistradi or Stesnian or something.

Speaking of, it's odd how Sorin keeps getting referred to as a Planeswalker by the others, despite having never mentioned that term aloud.

Anyway, I'm throwing a post down soon.

Well, not everything i write is knowledge my character knows of. Sazh definitely wouldn't know the formal name of the dragon's forms (unless he used a Librascope), nor would he have known Sorin was a planeswalker; it's all just pronouns that adhere to their respective characters, even when a character might not know of them.

I suppose narration isn't an issue, though the majority of RP is written in the limited third-person perspective.

Not really a big deal, just an observation.

I've only noticed this now, but the League term for dying and thereby allowing your opponent to gain a bunch of XP- Feeding- Just took on a really literal sense in this battle.
