Story:
It was December 20, 3010 in the gloomy setting that is California. If one were to see how the place looked like, one would think it was the aftermath of an apocalyptic world war. And indeed was the case. All the countries in the world got pissed off with each other and went crazy.

Your name is <insert character name>. You're one of the few remaining survivors in this post apocalyptic world. Your fate lies in your hands. Mutated animals exist.

Character Sheet:

Appearance: (picture, description, or both.)
Name:
Birthdate: (We all start at Dec 20, 3010, so do some calculations if you want a specific age.)
Backstory: (At least 100 words. If you can come up with 200 or more, I'll give you a game bonus.)
Starting weapon: (Pick from the following: Dagger, Baseball bat, 9mm Pistol with 24 bullets, Nothing. If you choose nothing, I'll give you a special in-game bonus.)
Type of social skill: (What are you good at? Seduction? Bartering? Convincing people to join your cause? Pick only one of endless possibilities. There will be NPCs in the game that you'll be able to manipulate. Please note that no matter how high your social skill is, you can't influence human players.)
Type of combat skill: (Are you good at Karate? Swordfighting? Marksmanship? Choose from the endless possibilities.)
Type of craft skill: (Anything from cooking to making jewelries is fine, as long as it's useful to you and doesn't give you an unfair advantage. Also, whatever tools you need for your craft, you must salvage from wherever. It's your responsibility to find them.)

There is a level up system with your skills. And this is how it works:

Level 1 = Beginning of every level.
Level 2 = Must do a total of one post where you explicitly train or expose this skill.
Level 3 = Must do a total of 3 posts.
Level 4 = 6 posts.
Level 5 = 12 posts.
Level 6 = 24 posts.
Level 7 = 48 posts.
Level 8 = 96 posts.
Level 9 = 192 posts.

Levels 1 - 3 = Beginner
Levels 4 - 6 = Adept
Levels 7 - 9 = Expert

As far as the acquisition of items, you may salvage them or buy them from some NPC vendor.

Rules:

1. At least 100 words per post. NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. If you're having a dialogue with another player that requires more than 100 words of dialogue total for the both of you, here's what you do: PM each other and do your dialogues there. And when you've finalized it, one of you will post what you two talked about. Same goes of trialogues and quadrologues.
3. When you are roleplaying alone, I require you to write the kind of narration that would have an event lasting at least ten minutes worth of in-game time. Meaning, tell us what your character did for at least ten minutes.
4. No godmodding, metagaming, and auto-hitting.
5. Your character can die. It can also be revived.
6. I and some assigned people control all the NPCs. There's everything from giant rodents, starving children, to drug dealers.
7. Starving to death is a real possibility, so eat. Scavenge canned goods, hunt down pigeons, cannibalize. Do anything and everything to get some food in your belly.
8. You're allowed to switch a skill for every five posts. For example, your initial combat skill was daggermanship but you bought or found an AK-47 assault rifle, feel free to switch to Marksmanship.
9. Read all the posts that came before yours!
10. Keep things PG-13 except for gore. If sex is inevitable, fade to black.

Any questions?

I know I'm not the GM, but just because I think realistically, I'm throwing in my two cents. You can't just pick up a bow and a few arrows and start shooting and be amazing right off the bat. It'd be easier to pick up a pistol and shoot them than to account for all the shortcomings of a bow. The only thing better about the bow is that it's quieter. Um . . . and what is she good at convincing people of? I mean, there's recruiting, bartering, and seduction listed in the first post, and all of those are VERY different ways of convincing people of something.

Also, where does she get this ability to make arrows (which requires some form of skill)? And the bigger question: Where on earth did she learn to make a land mine?! That's not something you pick up from a kitchen cookbook. Making something explode is one thing, but a tripped detonation by stepping on the explosive? Whole different story.

Her father was a scientist so he played with all kinds of chemical that could be used as explosives so she used this information her father taught her to make chemical like land mines all over her hiding spot and she learned how to make her own arrows when she start running out of her own. She is good at convincing people to join up with her so they could fight back since she is good at making very strong arguments.

Then "Convincing people" should be "Recruiting".

Once again: making explosives is one thing. That's not what I have the problem with. Homemade bombs are done all the time, and it doesn't even take a great deal of intelligence. The problem is in how she would make the triggering device that would cause it to explode when someone steps on it. That's a complicated process that not everyone can do.

Also understand that arrows can be reused.

Hey girl, please choose from one of the following weapons: Baseball bat, knife, or 9mm pistol with 24 bullets.

If you want a bow and arrow, I will provide it in-game. I just can't accept it as a starting weapon.

You could also choose NOTHING as a weapon, which will give you a bonus in game.

By the way Rethel, I noticed you have over 200 words worth of backstory, so I am giving you an in game bonus. You also get another bonus for having no weapons.

First bonus: 100 dollars.

Second bonus: 100 dollars.

These money will be spendable. There will be NPCs selling stuff. If you would like, I'll have one of your former people who owned your swords selling your swords to you cheap because he's desperate for food and that the only way he knows how to get food is to buy from Martha Stewart, which is an NPC in the game.

Name: Victor Lennard

Birthdate: December 20, 2992

Backstory: It had always been clear in his memory the day he won his first weightlifting competition. He was a "skinny" kid back then when he cleaned and jerked 315 pounds. However, he stood as if he had the strength of a bull on steroids. After that, he dominated high school sports and became the bully of bullies. He had a wild, animalistic streak that craved challenge the same way a Catholic priest craves Justin Bieber. When not lifting weights, he's often found eating high-protein meals and drinking lots of milk.
His name is Victor Lennard, and when he turned 18, the Apocalypse happened. It was also the day he officially cleaned and jerked 405 pounds. All of his loved ones, including his steaming hot girlfriend, died in the Apocalypse. He was one of the few people in California who survived.
Also, Victor loves eating duck.

Starting weapon: Baseball bat.
Type of social skill: Seduction.
Type of combat skill: Baseball-batsmanship.
Type of craft skill: Writing poetry.

I have $200! Yeah!

lol that works, I guess. Of course to make it more of a challenge on myself I was thinking there should be my collection would have been scattered, as those will likely be the only weapons Corey uses. However, his collection had some amazing variety, and I could probably make a list at some point of everything he had.
