Welcome To Avalon.
The voice ringing through your head shakes you awake. You know you fell asleep, and you know just as much that your in the "dream." This time however you're somewhere else though it still seems familiar. The air is cold and sharp, the ground hard and chill. After some time looking round its possible to recognise where you are, the huge mountain you flew up to in your dreams. all around the edge are massive plinths, Huge Dragon Skulls held in position by golden clasps. Suddenly one of the skulls lit up.
"Greetings Humans From The Land Of Steel. Welcome To Avalon." Its voice was powerful and sonorous. "I am Athus, Dragonic Spirit of Light. I will be one of your guides in these times." He spoke, The soft golden lights in the skulls eyes pulsing in time to his words. Opposite to him another voice spoke. This one was female, and smooth and flowing, almost liquid in its tones.
"Yes......Greetings Mortals. I am Nyx, Dragonic spirit of Darkness. I will also Guide you" Suddenly each skull lit up introducing themselves, Name and what they represented. Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, Dark, Dream, Sky, Lightning. Even Time. All of the great elements were represented here.
after the cacophony of introduction a brief silence fell. Giving the friends a chance to look round and appreciate the view. They were on the second highest peak of the entire range. The clouds were below them no snow was on the peaks for miles around, peaks rose from the clouds. Only one put the plateau the friends were on to shame. This mountain reached high enough that even from their current position they couldn't see the peak. But that wasn't what captivated their attention. Carven....No, Embedded Into the stone itself was a Dragon Skull so huge that it was clear it was taller than most modern day skyscrapers.
"What....who is that?" One of them asked, shocked and nervous.
"That Is-" Stared one of the dragon spirits.
"I AM AVALON. CELESTIARCH OF THE DRAGON SPIRITS. GOD OF DRAGONS. THE CREATURE FOR WHOM THIS WORLD IS NAMED AFTER"
The words, Unlike the other dragon spirits, did not emanate from the skull, but from the very world itself, The cliffs shaking with the voice It is clear that it was this voice that first called the friends to Avalon. The power of the voice forced those friends who had stood on to one knee. even if they didn't want to fall they were forced to one knee. The skull itself, when speaking blazed a pure white, not from the eyes, but from the entire skull.
"Well. That's the first time AVALON has spoken in several hundred years." Said Incarail the Dragon spirit of flame, you could almost hear the capitalization of the Dragon Gods Name.
"Now now Incarail, Lets not dally any longer. We summoned them here for a reason." The chilling voice of Chion the Dragon Spirit of Ice.
"Yes, Time, Ironically is ticking away." Aion the Dragon Spirit of time commented. There was a flash of energy from each Dragon Spirits and arranged on two racks were a selection of eggs, Both large and small. on the opposite side of the plinth was a sizable selection of weapons.
"Now, A word of Warning before you chose. Each Dragon has its own personality and own appearance. They will be their own dragon as much as your dragon." Nyx warned gently.
"In addition, Be aware, Each weapon has its own powers and costs. chose wisely. Lest you be stuck with something you despise." Cylon, The Dragon Spirit of the skies warned in his universally breezy and somewhat light hearted voce.
"More will be explained Later. Including where you are, And how you got here. But now, chose your dragons and weapons." Incarail insisted.

One moment she was reading about the great adventures of a young boy named Thomas, and the next she was on her knees. Berkley picked herself up and clasped her hands together in awe. "This is so cool!" she smiled, glancing about with no care in the world. She gasped in delight as she somewhat recognized the plateau she was standing on. Her dream! This time, though, her friends were with her. Maybe being in the same place changed the course of their dreams? Ah, but this was too much for Berkley to think about. She studied the eggs and weapons they were to choose from. Excited, she took one step forward.

Pete woke up suddenly at the voice in his head. This was new for the dream. First he was not flying. Second it seems they had arrived at mountain from the dream. It took a minute before it set in, he was not alone here. His entire group of friends were standing here with him as well. That made no sense. Even more so was that he felt that he was standing there, the air felt crisp. He felt confused as he listened to the introductions. He had no idea what was going on but when Avalon spoke he fell to one knee. It was not helping that there was some sort god now. Pete had no idea what to say so for once in his life he stayed silent. Until he was told to pick an egg and a weapon. It almost seemed that one of each was calling to him.

Pete walked to the weapons first. One of the swords called out and he chose it. It was one of the larger swords that took him two hands to pick up. Since it was so big it came with a strap that went along his back to hold the sword there. Pete attached the sword to his back whole while he walked to the egg rack. Again one of the eggs called to him. It was rather large. The egg was black and red. It was warm to the touch. Pete picked the egg off the rack. "This one seems to fit me. " He said walking back to the group holding the egg with both arms.

Isabella's dreams had imagined this world quite often, only this time it seemed so much more real. Her dark almond eyes glared around at her entire group of friends that had been with her that night, "I guess everyone fell asleep." she thought to herself as voices filled her ears of the dragons that ruled this land. The ground shook as the voice of Avalon brought everyone to their knees. Strange, she actual felt pain as her knee hit the hard ground of the mountain in which they stood.

Next, they were summoned to pick an egg and weapon. It seemed that in her dream she had a few of her friends go first, grabbing both an egg and weapon. "Figures, even in my dreams I can't get first pick." she growled, picking herself up and skimming over her choices. The multiple shades of green caught her eyes first, and she grabbed the heft egg without hesitation. It sat cradled in her arm like a small child as she strolled over to the weapons. "Wouldn't it be funny if I picked an Axe?" she thought to herself, a smirk across her face.

Her red bandanna, and outdoor attire had made her feel and appear as though she was a lumberjack. Grabbing the axe, she bent over a bit- she hadn't expect it to be so heavy. "Oof." she exclaimed, swinging the axe up and resting the handle on her shoulder. This dream was already more strenuous on her body than any dream she had experienced before. Quickly she found a spot next to her friends that had already picked their choices.

Alexander looked round, both curious and worried, his first instinct was to walk over to Phi and gently pinch her arm. then promptly do the same to himself. "OK......" He pondered out loud. "So pain exists in this world" he muttered, walking over to the Egg Rack, looking through the eggs he sighed, each seemed brighter than the last, trying to call his attention one way or another. eventually he found one of the smaller eggs, somewhat more muted, than the others, but non the less usual, seemingly made of metal shards, held together by purple strands of energy, the egg itself seemed a lot heavier than it should have been. "Oof. and so does strain and weight. lovely." He muttered. walking over to the weapon rack next he picked up a decent sized mace, giving it a few hefts he smiled and picked up the belt that was with it, allowing him to clip it to his hip. "this actually feels real....to Real." walking carefully to the edge he lent forward a little and looked over the edge. quickly stumbling back. "Woah-k" He muttered settling in the middle and looking slightly shaken. "Guys, I don't Think We're Dreaming." He announced after a bit more muttering to himself.

Seeing the others take their egg and weapon, Berkley followed suit. She hummed quietly to herself, scanning through her options. Her eyes landed on a quite peculiar egg. It looked as if there was a fire inside, or maybe lava? Intrigued, Berkley cradled it in her arms. Next, she walked over to the weapons. She was never the type of person to endorse violence, but it looked like she had no choice in the matter. Pondering hard, she found herself stopping at a white hammer with golden outlines. Its handle was wrapped with a red cloth that matched her cloak. She felt a pull towards it, and before she knew it, her hand was wrapped around the war hammer. Berkley didn't think she could even carry the massive thing, but she tried. To her surprise, the weapon was as light as a feather. She brought the egg and hammer back to the group, arriving in time to hear Alexander note, "Guys, I don't think we're dreaming."

The girl's eyes sparkled. "You mean this is real life? Oh that is so cool! That means those are real, right?," she said, pointing her hammer at the skulls - she didn't have a free hand, using her newly received weapon to identify what she was talking about.

-Mari-

Darkness consumed her field vision, which was strange… The only times that Mari ever experienced such an unusual lack of light were those rare times that she actually fell asleep. But that couldn’t possibly be the case, right? Mari? Sleeping? Ha. As if she would be caught doing such an appalling act when she still had umpteen course assignments and projects due. However, a voice resounded throughout her mind, startling the poor girl. Mari’s eyes snapped open immediately as she sat straight up. Dazed and confused, Mari brought her right hand to her head and closed her eyes. She felt as if she was spinning. What was going on? Since when did she fall asleep? Why couldn’t she remember falling asleep? Her mind was racing at a mile per minute. Panicking a bit internally, Mari took a deep breath and released it slowly in hopes of calming her rattled nerves. Wiggling her fingers and toes, she first tested to see if any part of her body was injured. Luckily, she seemed to be functioning fine; nothing seemed to be broken or aching. The only real problem at the moment was the notable gap in her memories. Frustrated, Mari balled her hands into fists. Only then did she take notice of the cool earth beneath her left hand. Even more perplexed now, Mari slowly removed her right hand from her face and opened her eyes. Lying in a spot of barren earth, Mari cautiously lifted her gaze to take in the rest of her surroundings.

Mari caught her breath as she analyzed her new setting. Everything seemed so foreign yet familiar. After a few moments though, Mari was able to place the odd feeling with its source. mountain plateau oddly resembled the exact same one from her recurring dreams. Did this mean that this was all just another dream? A really realistic dream? The girl readjusted her glasses and turned her head both to her left and her right. The only difference between this dream and her previous ones was that all of the people for the all-nighter get-together happened to be here too. This was a totally possible occurrence, though. It was a known fact that the mind incorporates objects, people, and ideals from your memories into your dreams; especially when you are sleep-deprived.

The glasses wearing girl only had a few minutes to contemplate such theories in her head, as suddenly one of the skulls began to speak. The skull commanded the attention of everyone in the group and introduced itself. One by one, the skulls that had been lying conspicuously around the edges of the plateau followed suit until finally the largest spoke. Its voice radiated with power and literally shook the world, causing Mari to clutch the ground as if her life depended on it. The poor girl was completely scarred. How could a dream be so real? Halfway listening to the remaining message spoken by the dragon spirits, Mari managed to pick up only the key details and instructions as she tried to organize her rampant thoughts.

As if she were in a trance, Mari rose from her spot moments after the conclusion of the skulls’ instructions and made her way over to the rack of eggs and weapons. Finding herself standing in front of a translucent egg with churning purple wisps, she subconsciously started to reach out to touch the egg. However, just before touching the egg’s cool surface, she caught herself. Mari hesitated for a moment. What was she doing? The girl stared at the egg intently for a few moments. There was something intriguing about it that the girl could not quite place. It was as if the egg was calling out to her, but that was impossible, right? Even if this was all just a dream. Still, Mari decided to reach out and graciously pick up the egg as she had no justifying reason not to. Clutching the egg gingerly in her hand, Mari moved to select her weapon. Searching for something simple and easy to wield, the girl’s eyes fell upon a sheen sword with its black sheath lain pristinely on the rack. Choosing the katana as her weapon, she made her way back to the center of the plateau as she looked around for familiar faces of close friends.

Alex was in the dream again but this time he was with his group of friends this time, which Alex thought was weird since this hasn't happen before. Then he relized that his headphones disappeared.Alex looked around, wondering where his headphones had gone but couldn't find them. Then he found himself listen to what the loud voices were talking about, and now he had to chose an egg and weapon. So he went up to the rack of eggs and he looked at them with amazment and chose an egg that was blue and cold. Then he looked at the weapons and chose a short sword then he tied the strap around his waist so and put the sword away. Then he heard what Alexander said and Alex thought about it and finally noticed how everything looked so real and said with a big smile,

"Wow, now this is something else at least it's not the same old dream we use to have, I wonder if this is like sword art online cause that would be pretty cool, know what I mean."

Welcome to Avalon

The voice rang through Phi’s head, calling her back to a realm of consciousness. Stirring slightly, Phi groggily picked her upper body off the ground and yawned.

“Just five more minutes mooom,” she groaned before slipping back down towards the hard, unforgiving dirt. Phi expected a soft, fluffy pillow to embrace her tired head, but instead she was greeted by the stiff, cold ground. “Oww! What the-?” Wide awake now, Phi clutched her pounding head and sat up. She winced in pain and cursed herself silently. Huffing and puffing, Phi swiveled her head around to see if anyone caught that embarrassing scene, but after taking a good gander at her new environment, it finally dawned on her that she should have been more worried about the sudden change in scenery. She was definitely not in her own house, much less a friend’s. Mari’s house was pretty rural, but not like this. This was outdoors, outdoors. Sifting through her memories, the last thing that she could remember was sitting at the table with Mari in one of her friends’ house. They had been there to pull an all-nighter and test a theory, and most people were having fun chatting and playing games with others except for a select few. Mari and herself were a part of that minority. Sighing as she recollected the night’s highs and lows, Phi groaned again. Nothing was working out anymore. The before was a bust, despite the fact that she actually got Mari to attend a social event, the stubborn girl missed the key point of socializing, and now this mess.

Phi didn’t complain for long, however, since her internal whine fest was interrupted by the sudden glow of one of the many huge skeletal dragon heads that outlined the edges of the plateau. The voice that seemed to belong to dragon skull introduced itself to the group, and soon after, the rest of the skulls followed by example. There was a brief break, filled with silence and awe from Phi, that ensued after the conclusion of the dragon spirits’ introductions. However, not to long after, a voice seemed to resonate throughout the world, and its source seemed to stem from the enormous dragon skull embedded in the sole mountain peak that rose above all others. Phi was bewildered. Never had she ever been faced with a predicament quite like this, but something within her made her feel as if her only hope in returning back to her normal life was to abide by the guidance given from the dragon spirit skull things…

Lost in thought, Phi did not notice Alexander as he approached and pinched her arm. Snapping out of her daze, she whirled her head around just in time to catch a glimpse of his receding figure and just a bit of spoken thoughts. Phi sighed to herself and got up off the ground. She spared a moment to dust her clothes off before heading over to the rack of goodies. Along the way, she noticed the familiar glasses and stoic expression of a girl she knew all too well. Waving slightly in the other girl’s direction, Phi was promptly ignored. Grimacing, she lowered her hand and continued to the rack. It seemed that quite a few people went for selecting their dragon egg first, so Phi decided to be ‘hip’ and went for her weapon first. Perusing the layout of weapons as if she were windowing shopping in the mall, Phi stopped in front of a promising item. It was comprised of 3 long, sharp blades joined together at the center and looked like an over-sized ninja throwing star. Grasping the weapon with her dominant hand, Phi mimicked the motion that she would use for attacking with it. Pleased with the outcome of the practice, she moved over to the rack of dragon eggs. By then, the selection of eggs had diminished by quite a bit, but there was an egg on the top of the rack that caught her eye. It had a red outline with an essentially black, dark center and a hint of purple. Leaning her weapon against her side, Phi stood on her tiptoes and carefully grabbed the egg. Clutching the egg close, Phi juggled carrying both the egg and her weapon back to the group. Spotting Mari, Phi made her way towards her best friend.

“So what was with the cold shoulder back there?” Phi teased as she approached Mari.

Waking slowly from her dream Sally stood up, yawned, and tried to reach her alarm clock and instead touched one of the skulls. Half asleep and still feeling around for a button to make the voices stop she started to slowly open her eyes more. Looking directly into the skull and suddenly she..."AHHHHHHHHH!!!"...screamed. Sally had had a dream of flying to a mountain and she had finally made it instead of falling short just of the peak like most times. "Ok so I guess this isn't the end of my dream." Sally said shakily. Sally looked around the room now that she had been scared that way. All of the friends she had made this year were here. "Holy smokes!" She said as she ran over to Isabella and hugged her. "Wow that is a big ax!" She turned to the racks and saw an egg that seemed to shine more than the others and she ran over and grabbed it. After grabbing the egg she remembered a faint voice in her had telling her to choose a weapon and so she chose a spear. She turned her head sideways and grabbed the spear too. Wait why did she grab these things? Oh yeah the voice in her head...in the...dream? This really wasn't a dream was it? Walking back over to Isabella she sat down. "Hey so what is going on?" She asked as wind blew around them.

((Soren, 1) its not a room, its the top of a mountain. so lots o'rock. 2) Your dragon isn't lightning based, Its cloud based, The only thing it has is its breath, which is more static electricity. 3) no one has their powers yet, nor do any of the weapons appear abnormal, nor are the powers based within the weapons.))

All of this was quite confusing.

Isabella gripped the handle of her axe, her eyes gazing around to each individual face of the people she was just beginning to really call her friends. They looked too real. As voices began speaking opinion and thoughts Isa couldn't help but feel a sense of fear and reality she had never sense in the dreams they had shared earlier. Something about this was unseeingly real.

Isabella's train of thought was interrupted as slender arms wrapped around her in an excited embrace. "Umph!" Isabella huffed as she was taken aback by Sally's tight hug. That had never happened in the other dreams, but the touch was encouraging and comforting. She was lucky to have such a good friend by her side, as well as the encouragement of her other friends.

Watching Sally come back and sit down, Isabella joined her- taking a seat upon the ragged land.

"Hey so what is going on?" Sally asked

"I'm not really quite sure anymore." Isabella cooed, her axe now resting at her side as she watched her friends begin to gather eggs and weapons, and come into terms about what was going on. This was only a dream after all, perhaps it all meant something about their friendship.

"Right, Now you've all got to get down from here!" Chuckled Incarail. teasing them all a little.
"Incarail! don't scare them!" Snapped Aion, "Are you all comfortable In your choices? Good" He said without even waiting for a response. with a flash of light the egg stand and the weapon rack disappeared. "Since we don't have to much time Lets get this started." He continued and smiled "You all might want to set your eggs down in front of you. All of those eggs have my blessing. The moment you touched them it set that in to motion" as one the eggs in their arms started to shake and rattle. After being set on the ground, the eggs started to crack and hatch, The dragons inside seemingly having already awoken and being ready to hatch. the eggs hatched very quickly. Almost exploding outwards, the dragons themselves grew at a phenomenal rate.
"Aion, you said it'd only put them out the egg!" Nyx commented to the Dragon Of Time. Aion giggled
"I lied! They're going to be ready to fly, fight, and even breath right away!" he said. causing Nyx just to sigh, several of the other dragon heads chuckled. Within a few seconds the plateau was filled with the massive dragons. Some larger than others, though still 2 or 3 times bigger than any of the people there at the smallest.
"These are your dragons. Each of you chose an Egg. Each egg housed a specific type of dragon. it is up to you to find out what type, and what they can do" Athus explained. "Now you need to -" Once again Athus was interrupted by AVALON.
"I WILL ALSO GRANT YOU EACH A GIFT. A POWER IF YOU WILL, BE CAREFUL THOUGH, THEY HAVE REPERCUSSIONS FOR THEIR USE. GOOD LUCK. AND USE THEM WELL" once again the voice was so powerful it forced even the dragons to go down on to one knee, a mountain over a small rockslide was started from it. Second time round the voice of AVALON seemed to be even stronger, echoing round everyones head and rather than just cutting out it seemed to be repeated billions of times over, in the wind, through what little animal noise they could hear, even though the sound of their own movements. There was a pause, almost as if the spirits were holding their breath, and suddenly the base of the rock plateau lit up, lines of energy skimming across it, interlinking each head in a vast and complex web. energy surging from this flooded the bodies of the friends. leaving them feeling invigorated, healed, and as if something fundamental had changed. Since no one had told them what their power was, and powers didn't outwardly manifest until used no one was aware on what their power was.
"Well....now....you look lovely don't you..." Said Nyx almost as if she'd gone from 'somewhat curious' to 'infatuated' with those on the plateau in a matter moments.
"Nyx don't do that. Now, you have your weapons, Your Dragons, Your Powers. Down the valley is a city. You need to-" Athus begin to explain but once again he was interrupted. This time by something else entirely. The unholy shadow that the friends had seen before in their dream seemed to form a little way from the plateau.
"Leave Us!" Thundered Incarail, clearly yelling at whatever this unnerving, unnatural creature was. the air was filled with mad, sickening laughter, a evil noise that could make people retch, just by hearing it. That wasn't even considering that this formless thing had a aura of not just evil, but terrible wrongness, as if whatever it was should not, no, could not ever exist. but yet hear it was, laughing at the dragon spirits, their god, and the friends.
"YoU tHiNk ThAt ThIs PaThEtIC BuNcH oF cReAtUrEs FrOm ThE lAnD oF mEtAl CaN bEaT mE wHeN aVaLoN CoUlD nOt?" The creature spoke, its voice at once both horrifying and melodic, The dissonant harmonies that it produced sounded in such violation of the laws of nature itself it was not a surprise that what local wildlife their was seemed to die from merely hearing it, The dragons seemed to whine and cover their ears, trying to shut out that terrible voice of the creature that could not be. Suddenly all the friends was filled with a icy cold dread, paralyzed by the mere sight of this thing. it rushed towards them this was just like the end of the dream. that evil shadow, it would get close to them and they would wake up. Then there was a crack like thunder and it was blasted backwards, energy was once again radiating from the plateau. Cracks slowly started to form down the skull of Hypnos, the dragon spirit of dreams.
"Leave us, Defiler, you can never return here, Not lest you pass through the labyrinth of nightmares." There was the sound of a almighty detonation, fragments of hot bone scythed through the group. thugh non got hit. The shadow was gone, but one of the skulls, and its plinth was missing. in its place was nothing more than a scorch mark.
silence rained for what felt like an eternity.
"No....that...." The soft voice of Ciron spoke up first. "shouldn't happen."
"It killed...A dragon spirit...impossible." quite quickly all of the spirits were voicing their disbelief and worry. whatever that thing was, it had just killed a god - spirit, and seemingly survived.

Berkley listened at the dragons' words with anticipation. She had put down the shaking egg she was cradling, watching as it - and everyone else's - hatched into a dragon. Several pieces of their shells grazed her skin after their 'explosion', some leaving trails of blood. The young girl didn't notice, though. Her full attention was on the mythical beasts in front of her, each standing proudly by their master. With eyes so wide they could have been holes to another dimension, Berkley stood frozen as her own dragon grew. Its scales appeared to be made of obsidian, with magma flowing between each piece. Its eyes were a fiery red, matching its whole body. Berkley could feel the heat emanating from it, threatening to burn everything it touched, but she was mesmerized by dragon.

Her trance was broken when Avalon roared once more. Everything and everyone around her was brought to the ground, barely able to support their weight. "I WILL ALSO GRANT YOU EACH A GIFT. A POWER IF YOU WILL. BE CAREFUL THOUGH, THEY HAVE REPERCUSSIONS FOR THEIR USE. GOOD LUCK. AND USE THEM WELL," echoed around the area.

Berkley didn't quite understand. She was about to question the great being before something happened. She didn't know exactly what happened, but she felt different. She could tell her friends were in the same boat, too. Before she could grasp the situation, Anthus spoke again, giving them instructions of some sort, only to be cut off - a large shadow had appeared nearby. Upon glancing at it, Berkley felt fear she never knew could exist. She grabbed at whoever was nearby, dropping her war hammer with a thunk that fell quiet when the dark aura spoke. She wasn't able to hold on to someone, as her actions were suddenly halted. Berkley had fully remembered her dream. She couldn't move. But instead of being mesmerized, she was utterly terrified. She could do nothing but look as a dragon skull shattered, as the shadow disappeared, as bits of the skull rained down on them.

His egg started to hatch. He had not expected this. Once the dragon was free Pete watched it grow at a rather disquieting pace. The dragon grew scales as red as blood and seemed to be rather large as the egg had suggested it would be. Pete just stared at his new dragon in awe.

Pete again was brought to his knees by the voice. Who ever this Avalon fellow was he was powerful. So whatever was going on it was big. Very big. Bigger than the group. However they all seemed to be here for a reason only these dragons knew. That did not help him feel any better however. These dragons were not very friendly or they felt off to Pete. Like the other shoe was about to drop. Pete was not as tough when the thing for lack of a better term killed one of the dragons. Pete should have turned and ran for his life but stayed since the others were staying. "What... What the hell was thing!" Pete said thinking it was a part of his brain showing itself.

Sally was in awe as her egg jumped out of her hands. Unlike the others so it didn't hatch like a normal egg. The shell did not crack and there was no rumbling. The egg simply began to expand. Reaching a large size in seconds it let out a sighing sound and vapor spouted out from it. As the shell deflated the vapor began to take form. A dragon of translucent white and green stood before her and static crackled in its mouth. "I ummm guys....I don't think..." The booming voice began to speak again and said something about powers. She couldn't really hear him to much as blood was swimming in her ears. A head rush. She got these often when her excitement began to build.

She let her head swim and suddenly felt energy fill her. A refreshing wash made her want to jump on her dragon and fly as high as she could. They were about to get information about a village in the valley below but were interrupted. A shadow of some kind flew overhead and spoke. She felt hate for the thing that was not among them, but she couldn't react. Suddenly after the thing was gone she felt a weight lift from her, she stood, and grabbed her spear looking around. "Next time we will be ready for you!!" She shouted. She wanted to protect her friends and the presence of that thing wouldn't allow her to do that. She turned back to the spot where a dragon skull had been shattered and spoke to the other skulls..." I am very sorry. I am guessing that is the reason why you brought us here?" She said as she came to the final realization that this wasn't a dream but a new reality for her and her friends, one that they would all be tested in.

"Told you. Not a dream" Muttered Alexander, he was shaken, but still somewhat in awe is dragon, he had his hand through its ribcage. The fact it was made of massive metal struts crackling with a purple energy, lances of electricity bouncing between them. "I claim the award for strangest dragon." He then shook his head, he knew he was in shock. but was quite content to let it wash over him for a bit. "so, either we get going now, I think I know how to get to the city, since we've flown it so meany times. or we can wait for the dragons to reconcile themselves." he suggested, still shaking in fear at whatever that thing had been.

Isabella could hardly keep a grip on her egg as it began to rattle and shake. She couldn't believe this was all happening. The voices of the dragon spirits continued to speak over them, but Isa couldn't only keep her eyes on her egg. Instead of shattering like a few of her friend's eggs did, her dragon's egg seemed to melt almost. The shell becoming a pile of mush around the small dragon.

His blue eyes looked up at her as his back hunched, he was quite frightened but stood his ground. It was amazing how fast the frail little dragon began to grow, his scales practically blending into the foliage that surrounded them. Isabella's mouth gaped in both horror and excitement. This was not a dream.

Once again the group along with their dragons were brought to their knees and told their fates. Isa glanced at the axe she had left on the ground behind her, it didn't seem like much had changed about it; but so far the spirits had not lied. Or at least that is what the group could assume. "I can't believe this." Isabella spoke aloud, barely louder than a whisper. Her dragon continued to stare at her, his glowing blue eyes filled with fear and curiosity.

Panic consumed both the spirits and the teenagers as one of the skulls were shattered by this great unknown beast. The dust blew into their faces as a final insult to the cut in the achilles ankle they all were experiencing.

"Told you. Not a dream" Alex muttered

Isabella turned to him and yelled, "Shut up! This is all a big messed up situation and all you can do is say I told you so?" Isa wasn't one to let the small things go, and needed to be outspoken about her beliefs. She stood up wiping the dust off her jeans, her hands then fled to her hips as she meant to comment once more. "I-" she started, before a small wail came from her dragon. It appeared as though he was actually whimpering.

"What the heck?" Isa turned looking at her dragon. He was almost pitiful she first assumed, but quickly felt sympathetic for the creature. He didn't like yelling it seemed. Her scowl slowly turned into a pout as she put her hand on the snout of the dragon, he flinched but allowed her touch, as she pet it, comforting the kind soul.

Alex saw that his egg was hatching and took a few steps back as it was cracking open until finally something came out. A baby dragon came out and then it grew and grew until it was huge and Alex couldn't believe what he had just witness. Then as Alex got closer to the dragon it was getting a bit colder as he approached but Alex didn't really mind, he was too amazed at the enormous dragon standing in front him.

After all that Alex looked around and saw other dragons doing the same and each of the dragons were different in colors and sizes. He looked back at the blue and cold dragon still standing there but this time the dragon was staring at Alex. Alex stared back, creeped out, and the dragon stared back at Alex and started to crook his head a little, not knowing what Alex was doing. Then Alex blinked and said annoyed,
"Okay you can blink now you won you don't have to show off,"Alex looked at the dragon as he blinked twice still confused on what had just happened and Alex smiled and said,
"but your still cool now that I got a good look at you, your really something although I thought dragons were a myth."

Alex looked at his friends and heard what the other Alex said and responded still amazed and excited,
"What are you waiting for lead the way I kinda didn't pay much attention to the dream the view was distracting."

Alexander turned to isabella on her outburst and smiled. "I'm in shock, just seeing a god get killed and all." he sighed and clambered on to the back of his dragon slowly. "Anyway, Right now, my snark and your stress isn't the primary concern, We need to get to that town." He said trying to urge his dragon to fly. "Up. fly. go." He sighed and whacked his hand on its backplate. "Ow! god dammit. metal dragons. ascend, yip yip. Fuck sake. TAKE OFF" he eventually got frustrated enough and weather it was the fact he was pissed off or he'd just gotten a lucky guess his dragon lurched off the side of the plateau spreading its wings and in a somewhat ungainly manner taking flight. "w-whoah... jezus, this is far more scary than the dream!" He yelled, clinging to the metallic plates that made up his dragon.
