Awakening of the Dragon Champions, currently not acceptingHistory:
In a time long past, there used to be 7 gods. Each of the gods had power over all, but 6 of them found that their ideas always clashed with each other. Every time they decided to do something, there was rarely a time when they could agree with each other.
Most of their meetings settled into fights with an agreement becoming impossible. The earth was still developing, but since none of the gods could make an agreement, the 7th god decided to step in. He gave each god their favourite domain to rule over.
The domains were: the earth, the sky, the waters, fire and heat, light and darkness. Since he had a higher authority, he decreed that no god can attack another directly, and they cannot use their powers in another god’s domain. The eight were relatively happy when creating and developing their respective domains. Each developed on their own, and each god ended up being shaped by their domains and their creations.
All was well until their creations became too numerous. Each god, with disregard to the others, made enough creations to fill each and all of their domains, and then more still. Each of them became angry at each other, thinking it was their right to expand as they wished. After things came to a head, each god decided that conquest was their only option if they wished to obtain the domains that they wanted.
To destroy each other utterly because they couldn’t themselves, they amassed their creations and sought to conquer each other’s domains and kill the other gods. Thus started the war of the gods. Each and every creature was primed for battle and pitted against the creations of the other gods. However, the forces were completely equal and the war ended in a global stalemate.
The stalemate persisted for many years, and the gods grew tired of the constant combat. But, unbeknownst to each other, each god had the same flash of inspiration. If their regular creations were creating a stalemate, why not create an all-powerful beast to destroy the stalemate once and for all? Unbeknownst to each, they each bent all of their power to create their ultimate weapon; the Dragons.
The Dragons embodied all of the power of the god itself. Each god spent all of their power on the dragons, imbuing them might of the gods in a vessel that could kill one. They sent their creations, expecting a swift and sure victory. However, at the central battlefield, a seaside, stormy, mountain peak at the very tip of the world, the dragons met and the gods knew that they had failed again.
They could feel each dragon’s terrific power, held at bay only by the confusion of the gods themselves. Each dragon had the same immense power another had, and now 6 met to combat each other and destroy everything in their path.
Though the gods knew a battle with the dragons would end in unparalleled destruction, they still set the dragons against each other. The dragons fought for a long time, wreaking havoc left and right. In the end, their battle destroyed much of the world as well as the dragons themselves. After the dragons had finished and the world was largely desolate.
After the disasters the war of the gods wrought, the 7th decided that the gods needed a way to settle this stalemate without using large scale warfare again. He decided to settle the dispute by choosing 1 champion for each god and having them fight where the borders of the domains of the gods met, the last battlefield of the dragons, and the tip of the world.
The match was set to be at a much later date so humanity would have time to rebuild. The gods now wait for the fated day to come. But unbeknownst to every other god, each god infused their dragon’s soul and powers to reincarnate into what would later become their champions. Now in the modern era, the dragons have awakened and the trials of the champions have begun.
Setting:The story is set in a modern boarding school named Pantheon College, with the champions of the gods awakening their dragons in a dream. The dream occurs the night before a new school year starts, and it is up to you what the nature of the dream is. Each player will thereafter be able to talk to their dragons as if talking to themselves. Each champion is a student or staff member of the school and they do not know who the other champions are.
The first day of IC is the first day of the new school year. So we all gotta attend the Principal's speech and stuff.
The school was built right on the border of the gods’ territories unbeknownst to the rest of the world. After the awakening, monsters begin to appear late at night when no one but the champions are in the school. The champion will have to fight and defeat them or else they’ll stick around and harass you all day probably.
The monsters are sent after the champions by the gods because the school is in fact under their Jurisdiction as it infringes on all of their territories. They cannot however attack a champion directly as the 7th God decreed that they cannot directly manipulate each other’s champions and they cannot directly change the School. Instead they just send creatures at you so it’s all G.
There are 6 dragons in total. They are:
• Taurrin – Earth, Balthazar
• Aurious – Air, BrobbyDDark
• Nayru – Water, Hylianhero
• Dienze – Fire, Twistedgrin
• Luxius – Light, Raijinslayer
• Nuul – Darkness, RoflsMazoy

Character Sheet Explained:
• Personality is where you state your personality, some of your tendencies and your general attitude to school and other people in general. The attitude you take towards school will matter because I want to know how well you study and stuff for tests and exams which will actually affect the RP.
• History is where you state your backstory and also your past record in school so I can do stuff like extra-curricular activities and how you should be doing in tests and stuff.
• Appearance (champion) is what you look like while in your champion form. Out of champion form, you can still use your dragon powers but most passives are not active. The appearance should at least attempt to conceal your identity because you don’t want other people finding out about your secret identity! In character anyway.
• Dragon Awakening Level is the level at which your awakened dragon’s powers are. Each champion starts on Awakened with the level getting higher depending on the monster kills you get. After killing a certain amount of cannon fodder, a big-ass boss might pop-up to kill and if you do you upgrade to the next level.
• Dragon abilities are pretty self-explanatory. At the Awakening level, you get to choose 1 passive and 1 active ability. In addition, each champion gets two passives which I will specify later, that don’t add up to the ability total. When your powers evolve, you get another ability and you upgrade your old ones in some way. There are only so many evolution levels so upgrade those skills wisely.
• The Main Item is the main thing in which your dragon powers manifest themselves. It could really be anything but you’re using it to use most of your powers so pick something cool. You’re also going to be carrying it around all the time so make sure to have some way of hiding it from other champions.
• Health Pool is how much health you’ve got. Each champion starts on 50 max health but it can be affected by passives. As in, passives can raise your max health if you want them to, or lower it if it needs nerfing. You get an extra 10 max health every level and you must keep track of your current health at the end of every combat post. Regaining health will be detailed in Combat.
• Mana Pool is how much mana you’ve got. Each champion starts on 100 max mana and the rest of it is practically the same as the Health Pool except that it goes up by 15 every level.
Combat:• You will role-play the combat IC. The enemies you fight will be set by me unless I say otherwise.
• Damage is to be done by the random number generator from http://www.random.org/. When dealing damage or taking damage, make sure to tell me in the OOC what hits you’re dealing and what hits you’re taking before you post the combat post so I can get some numbers from the generator. I will not lie for damage unless I really want you to finish someone off or something. If you’re doing something like a hit with extra power, just tell me and I’ll factor it in.
• Make sure to keep track of your health and mana at the end of combat posts, you may get more than one fight per night
• Health is regained at a rate of 10 per hour excluding passives. While sleeping, natural regeneration rates are doubled. This healing is part of the Dragon Spirit passive skill which each champion has and I will detail it in a later section.
• Mana is regenerated at a rate of 20 per hour excluding passives. It does not change while sleeping, however. This is also part of the Dragon Spirit skill.
• Activate skills will consume mana unless it’s reasonable to be otherwise.
• Your passive effects don’t apply out of Champion Form except for the health and mana ones.
• A boss battle will appear when a certain god has had enough of your killing their cannon fodder and sends in something big. You may sometimes fight boss fights with someone else, in that case you need to collaborate. Use Titanpad or something.
Status Effects:Status effects can be applied to your champion and your enemies. Each status effect has a chance in 5 to apply depending on the skill itself. A Stun 1 effect for example, will have a 1 in 5 chance to stun whereas a Slow 5 effect would have a definite chance to slow people. The status effects themselves are pretty self-explanatory and if you're making one up then explain it and we'll see if its good.
Status resistances reduce your chances of applying a status effect in an inverse fashion. Stun Resistance 1 for example will lower their chances of getting stunned by 1 in 5. Slow resistance 5 will completely eliminate their chances of getting slowed unless you get a Slow 6 or above effect. Your debuff levels can go up to 10 but resistances can only go up to 5.
Base Champion Skills:•
Dragon Spirit: The spirit of the dragon awakens inside of you, granting you the power of Champions. Dragon Spirit is a passive skill that each champion has and cannot be removed or upgraded through evolutions. It passively gives the champion a natural regeneration rate of 10 health per hour and 20 mana per hour. In addition, while the Champion is in Champion Form, their bodily traits become superhuman. Their athletic abilities become double that of a regular Olympic Athlete, their reaction times increase dramatically and they are able to use their chosen passive abilities.
•
Divine Intervention: If a Champion is about to die, they can sacrifice the use of an ability for 24 hours to receive an intervention from the 7th God. It is up to the God to decide what form the intervention takes, and this skill can only be used when a Champion is truly about to die. The skill cannot be stopped or disrupted in any way, and can be used by the 7th God without the Champion’s consent if needed.
