Strygwyr groans heavily with that thing on his head. Eclipse puts a hand on his hip. He completely couldn't deny anything pathetically begging for mercy and gave in. "heaven's grace, we will save you, little one. ...Oh, we meet again, girl. Greetings. Ahem, now then. Dos anyone have any idea what is going on?"

The girl struggles to get out of the muck. "Uck....this is digustttinnnngggg...." She whines. The small creature leaps down from Strygwyr's dome, and swims over to the little girl, and starts to try to clean her, gently flicking slime from her face, and curling up on her lap, as if it felt comfortable with her. Maybe it was due to them both being children. Maybe the man made sure the creature trusted its would be guardian....what ever the reason, dispite its nature sorta ugly, even Strygwyr would find the thing slightly cute, even if he still wanted to juice it for blood, which he smelled none of....in fact, it smelled really bad to him...like....dirty used tp bad.

Strygwyr sniffs in the direction of the thing and wrinkles his nose and turns away. He seems to preoccupy himself with how dirty his blades, etc. are. "Hrmm... Not fit for sacrifice like this." He grumbles and looks at Eclipse.

"Yes I see. I wouldn't slay the enemies of my goddess with blades like that either, Strygwyr. We need to get out of this swamp, assuming this world has something else to offer." He flapped his wings and stirred the mist around them. "Goddess, lift his fog of adversity." Of course, nothing happened. "Ah well. We are saved for the moment. We must be thankful for that." He tromped around a few steps looking outward. "I will scout around and try to find more solid ground. Take my sword..." He drew and pointed the handle to the girl. "It holds a piece of my soul. I will be able to find you again if you are carrying it, even through this dense fog." He smiled. "Bloodpriest, protect this child and her anomaly until I return." Eclipse heroically took to the air.

Strygwyr blinked at him from the ground. He wasn't fond of being given orders, but he could always chose to disobey them later. He grinned at that.

The small girl held onto the blade for dear life, and the dark one sniffed the handle of the weapon.
"Hmm...." She says, and tried to keep the blade as clean as possible, but her little arms lead to it being sat in her sorta goo covered lap several times.
"Hungry...." The little creature says, before it pokes its head into the goo, followed by the rest of it, as it slithers though the goo, looking for bugs, small fish, anything bite sized really to eat.

Walking into the Lounge was like stepping from absolute darkness into bright light. While many of those gathered weren't capable of seeing souls, almost all could feel energy, or had sense 'aura'. It was a common skill among practitioners of magic, both studious and natural. And Hell's Coffee Lounge was awash in it, the power of Gods and Demons, to the extent that it was nearly tangible. It felt like standing in the surf, the tides tugging at your feet, reminding you of the unfathomable depths of the sea, threatening to drag you to the ground if you weren't careful. Even for those who had done business here before, it took a moment to adjust to an envionment to swamped in natural energy, functioning as a nexus of powerful multiversal energies, as well as having soaked in the power of some of the most dangerous beings known to man. Archdemons sat side by side with angels of vengeance and justice, great ancient sorcerors dealing with legendary elemental forces. Creatures that made and shaped the destiny of their own homeworlds, in the one neutral ground that could house anyone, from man to God to the unknown.

As eyes adjusted to the metaphysical glare, a brightly lit room was revealed, built seemingly from a light wood. Tables of all sorts and shapes, covered in food, games, and ancient mechanical devices stretched out seemingly infinitely, and yet when one did not concentrate, the room was only the size of any other coffee lounge. At the chairs sat beings from all walks of life, performing all manners of tasks. Some had come to make deals, bargaining with the lives of billions and the fate of worlds, selling their souls, or perhaps their services. Others had come to play games, performers and musicians, actors and writers, exposing works of genius and insanity, some elaborate beyond what mere mortal senses could detect. And lastly, there were those who had come to experience the unique experience and cuisine offered by this place, the nexus of multiversal travel where there were no limits.

And yet, in all of this mess, there was not a single instance of violence. Even in cases where the killing intent was practically tangible, beings of pure darkness and light resolved to glaring at each other from opposite ends of a chess board.

Emerging from the strange, constantly shifting architecture of the infinite-yet-finite Coffee Lounge, came a figure that was unusual even by the standards of such a place. A woman in a bright red suit, covered in golden sparkles, beneath which a bright white undershirt could be seen. Her hair, hanging back in two massive pigtails, seemed to twist around her body like a pair of twin snakes, their glistening almost metalic sheen constantly shifting color, as if a rainbow had been trapped within. In one hand she held a long black cane, it's golden head shaped like a small child's head, it's tip cased in gold. Each long nail was metallic, and in them could be seen twisted, discolored reflections of her surroundings, as well as the occasional foreign sight. In her other hand she held a large red top hat, it's edge embroidered with golden thread, sparkling as brightly as her suit did. And yet, the most noticeable feature about her were her eyes, or her lack of them. For where in any other human would be eyes, were too large twisted mirrors, whcih reflected the eyes of whomever she looked at at the time. And, even as one would look into them, they would begin to see things in the reflections, secret things, things that they didn't want to see, torn from their deepest subconscious.

"How LOVELY! It's been such a long time, and so many old faces! Oh, I've been expecting you of course, and it's always nice to see a new soul here. Absolutely beutiful, wouldn't you say? I'm delighted." Her gaze swept the group, and with it came the feeling of being... naked, somehow. Exposed. Her gaze saw through lies, saw through deceptions, and it felt like all of their secrets had been laid bare for anyone to scrutinize. Hairs stood on end, and clothes moved in a faint, playful breeze that did not exist, and could not be felt. She put on the top hat, doing a little twirl, before seemingly materializing from thin air in front of Teo. "Oh, aren't you a darling. Welcome, Teo, there's a chair and a drink ready for you." And yet, even as she spoke, an equally bewildered Mithias found himself confronted by the same image of a brightly smiling woman. "And you, too, Mith. We're going to have business to discuss." She placed a single nail on his chest, the touch burning like fire, and yet at the same time somehow relaxing him, as if he'd just walked out of a hot shower. "You've found quite the pretty bauble."

With a spin and a twist, the woman was back in her place once more, or both of them, it had been quite unclear. "I must introduce myself, of course! My name is Deus Ex Machina, Lord of Insanity, the Infinite Muse, the Playwright, First of the Shards of Chaos, the Inconsistency. But I prefer to be called Bob."

She waves a hand at you absentmindedly. "Oh, yeah, sure. Punching him will probably work. If not, punch him harder." She turns around, and takes two drinks from a bar that wasn't there a moment ago. Looking around, the group notices it wasn't the bar that had appeared, they were standing in a completely different location, the tables around them were completely different, and from here, the entire place was a rather modern-looking plastic coffee shop. Except the oaken bar, complete with barrels. That was just a little bit out of place. However, before such things could have been questioned, Bob throws the two drinks, both of which seem to somehow find their way into the hands of either Najimi or Asura. "Speaking of which, there's a table ready for you. Some guy called Genocide wants to talk to you."

"I'll talk to him." Najimi says "so am I." Asura says. Getting up "no offense asura, but I think you should sit this one out. Because honestly between the two of us, you're the easiest to kill." With that, asura is forced to sit down by some unseen force. Most likely najimi's doing. Najimi then looks at Bob and says "if you don't mind, I would very much like to know where my table is."

Mithias gasped softly as the reflective nail graced his chest with an alarming, yet soothing heat. His soul had been so recently, critically damaged, and he was clearly still healing. He was more than a little afraid. No doubt Bob remembered absolutely everything, and Mithias wasn't sure if The eternal embodiment of chaos would still be mad at him for what he did. Additionally, something about Bob now being a woman also gave Mithias just a little more reason to worry. Guilt ate at him as he faced his former guide.

Placing a hand over his chest, Mithias remembered fusing with the orb. "Oh yes. The orb of hope... if that's what you call it." Having forgotten about Mia for the time, Mithias looked at the rainbow-haired, grinning woman in the sparkly red hat. He hesitated for a moment, reassuring himself. Yeah it was definitely still Bob. "Bob." Mithias reached carefully for her empty hand and held it before him as he gracefully knelt down. It was so weird calling an obviously female being a man's name, but... hell it was Bob. Mithias opted to treat him like a lady and bowed as if she were a queen. "I've been waiting a long time to do this. I apologize to you for my past misconduct, Bob. Please forgive me. I will do anything to make amends to you."

At what almost seemed to be the last minute, a hooded Michael followed after everyone, entering the portal before him to the Coffee Lounge. He surveyed his surroundings, taking in all the auras that had gathered in this place. "Interesting...the layout is complex, yet simple at the same time. It also seems all of these auras are unique..each one different from the other..." He says to himself.

"Oh, of course, all of you are welcome. Poor fellow had no idea there would be so many of you." Bob smiles at Kevin and Creed, both of whom received a drink of their own. The brew radiated a soft blue light, and the slight sound of distant screams could be heard as it sloshed around in the cup. Looking carefully revealed that the colourless liquid held strange distortions, faces, swirling around with the current, small specks of light, and merely looking at it seemed to in some way convey pain, as if the agony of hundreds had been gathered in this simple drink. Surprisingly, liquid suffering smelled like pie, which was disorienting to say the least. "You're welcome to stay as long as you want, feel free to play a couple of games. Tell me if you think of something you really want, those souls of yours look delicious. I'm sure there's some crafty demon who could fetch whatever your heart desires in the room."

As Mithias came forward, and knelt down, Bob practically beamed. Her face quite literally started glowing, waves of light flowing down her hair, as the floor turned to glass. Far below, an infinite sea of still water could be seen, as the entire style of the Lounge changed, glass pillars emerging from the roof, which was similarly formed from glass. A light rain hit the roof, the faint pattering of which could be heard throughout, Three suns shone brightly from far above, although somehow the illumination and shadows seemed not to shift for this new source of light, as if the world beyond the glass was completely separated from the room the party was in.

"You're such a dear, I swear. Oh, don't worry, I don't hold a grudge, but it's been far too long since someone apologized to me." With those words,a second head sprouted from her shoulders, giving a pointed look to Bug. She quite literally stared daggers, as he found a pair of them growing from his chest, as if they were plants. However, this second head soon melted into colourless sludge that fused with the floor, resulting in a chair for Bob to sit down in. "While I would love to have you clean the Theatre, I think I've tortured you enough for today. But you seem to have found yourself a Shard there. A physical manifestation of emotion. Those are quite the rarity, and non-sentient ones are normally limited to the Chaos Realm. How did you get that?"

Before Mithias could answer, Najimi and Asura spoke. However, before Najimi could even finish her sentence, Bob held up a single finger. She tried to speak, but found she no longer had a mouth, her lips had been fused together. Slowly, Bob's finger waved from side to side. "Uh oh. What a bad girl you are, aren't you? You just broke the rules, and that makes you mine." And as if her words were law, the ground opened up under Najimi. She fell through stormy skies, surrounded by thunder and lightning, the clouds rushing past her, as she plummeted towards a tumultuous ocean. Flight failed her, like a bird with broken wings, as her magic scraped to halt the grasping hand of gravity. The waters deep below swirled, a massive twisting cyclone reaching up towards her, a pillar of swirling water rushing upwards.

Metallic fingernails closed around her as the water struck, the water slipping in between immense fingers. Arcane knowledge and power seemed pointless, it was as if her formidable strength had been torn from her. She stood here, in darkness, before, finally, the great hand that held her opened. Her feet were knee-high in sand, a desert stretching as far as the eye could see, hundreds of eyes burning in the night sky, staring down at her as she attempted to pull herself free. Around her, she could see hundreds, children and men, clawing at the sand at their feet, ripping off their legs and dragging themselves forward by broken fingernails. Screaming, and shouting their thirst, in the perfect silence of death.

And as Bob looked on, once more, she fell into a further layer of darkness.

Najimi's body fell forward, face first onto the floor, even as the wave of serpentine hair receded. Breath was taken from her, and her soul could not be seen, as, to all appearances, she had been killed. Bob held out a hand, and clasped it tightly shut. When she opened it once more, a small doll could be seen in her hand, attached to a small metal ring. With almost meticulous care, she hung the miniature najimi on her left sleeve, where she remained unmoving. For a moment, the slight muffled screams of Najimi's soul could be heard, before she was completely silenced. "In my house, nobody uses their powers on another, except me. Those are the rules, plain and simple. God, Demon, or Conceptual Being, all obey my rules in my house."

She then turned to Teo, her face seeming far younger. "Don't worry, mr. Teo! Our drinks don't contain aaaaaaany alcohol."

Kevin removed his mask, showing his face for the first time in a while. He had a bit of an angular jaw, and his chin and lower jaw was covered in a stubbly beard, his eyes coal black and his other facial features bearing signs that women would possibly see as attractive. Except maybe for the single scar going over his right eye, which itself seemed to be fine. Truly, he was his father's son. He bowed to Bob, smiling at him, her... it. "It was truly amazing to meet you, Bob, and thank you for the drink." He then began walking, looking for Genocide. He looked at his drink and absentmindedly, against his better judgement, took only a very slight sip. His magical aura flared up on instinct, ready to offer protection in case the drink proved toxic or dangerous.

The waters deep below swirled, a massive twisting cyclone reaching up towards her, a pillar of swirling water rushing upwards.Metallic fingernails closed around her as the water struck, the water slipping in between immense fingers. And as Bob looked on, once more, she fell into a further layer of darkness.Najimi's body fell forward, face first onto the floor, even as the wave of serpentine hair receded. God, Demon, or Conceptual Being, all obey my rules in my house."She then turned to Teo, her face seeming far younger. "Don't worry, mr. Teo! Our drinks don't contain aaaaaaany alcohol."

The doll quivers briefly as asura just sits there. Not quite sure what had happened but deciding not to ask

Strygwyr turned to the girl as the beast went off. "What is a little girl doing in all this mud and darkness? Where did you come from?"

"My name is...Lina." She says, sorta scared of the blade wielding dog man. "The robed man told me if I took care of the bug thing, he would bring my mom and dad back..." She squeaks out, not being even 7 at least.
Soon, the creature returns, and crawls into her lap, full of..who knows what.

Bug looks down at the daggers growing in his chest, and then looks up at bob, with a rather blank look.

"Glad to see you too bob, haven't changed a bit it seems...." He says, sitting down on a small bulb of light formed with a wave of his hand. "So, how's the soul stealing business been going, Ozzy says it's been booming lately." Bug asks, trying to create a little small talk with the mad god, trying to hide his worry about being this close to bob....and what had happened at their last meeting. When bug looks into the mirrors of Bob's eyes, for a split second, a monster could be seen, blood splattered, and in a old doctor's outfit...

Bug looks down at the floor quickly, swallowing some bile that had risen in his throat, being sickened by that...thing.

"Yea....booming..." He says, looking back up at Bob, a stern look, still hiding his worry from the others.

I'm sure there's some crafty demon who could fetch whatever your heart desires in the room."As Mithias came forward, and knelt down, Bob practically beamed. Her face quite literally started glowing, waves of light flowing down her hair, as the floor turned to glass. Far below, an infinite sea of still water could be seen, as the entire style of the Lounge changed, glass pillars emerging from the roof, which was similarly formed from glass. A light rain hit the roof, the faint pattering of which could be heard throughout, Three suns shone brightly from far above, although somehow the illumination and shadows seemed not to shift for this new source of light, as if the world beyond the glass was completely separated from the room the party was in."You're such a dear, I swear. Mithias paused as Najimi and Asura spoke, the former using some kind of magical impulsion to force Asura to keep his seat. Mithias didn't think much of this, assuming it was a normal aspect of Najimi's and Asura's relationship, however, the act of using one's powers on another was apparently grounds for... well, for becoming Bob's. Mithias froze for a moment, eyes wide, as he watched Najimi get turned into a trinket doll. He could swear he heard a tiny little voice come from the doll saying, "Help meeee!" o.o

Blinking, Mithias found himself still kneeling before Bob. "Er.. I um." He had to assume at some point Bob would release Najimi, or so he hoped for the time being. Nonetheless, it was quite a good thing that Bob had full control of reality within Hell's Coffee Lounge. He alone kept, ironically, "order," in his domain, and prevented beings like Genocide and Stein from killing everyone and doing god knows what with their souls.

So it was with those thoughts in mind and a new appreciation for the sound of rain on glass that Mithias went on to answre Bob's question. Closing his eyes and holding his hands out before him, Mithias formed the white, glowing shard of hope in front of him. The light swirled as it condensed, accompanied by the faint sounds of children's laughter, into a sphere shape. It was much brighter than previous, seemingly swollen by the number of souls and auras and amount of hope that had been brought together in this place. It fed off it.

The vampire's body seemed to dim and gray after the loss of the orb, but the light made his golden irises glimmer. "This, I believe, was spawned by the coffee lounge somehow. Strygwyr found it, appearing among a collection of artifacts I had gathered and left in a box on the counter. You must have seen it, since it had contained your hat. Whatever it is, it is a strong positive energy. It feels like hope." Mithias extended his clawed hand, offering the orb. "It's yours, if you want it."

Mithias momentarily turned his attention to the sound of Big's voice. Bug had been his friend in the past as well, but was clearly shaken by some terrible past. The vampire didn't understand a lot of the things Bug did, but his fear of Bob and Mia were evident. The insectoid nature spirit seemed really preoccupied, distraught even. Mithias sighed inwardly, because perhaps he too should be more wary around a soul-stealing nightmare lord. He'd have to ask him later why he was so upset.

He briefly scanned for Mia.
