Thats an understatement. You should see him in the IRC, he's a shamble of what he once was...

How many are missing their linking into the docs, HeySeuss?

I've just submitted a character if you'll have me and him...

Personally I think the Jedi might be a little unnerved by him... Oh well.

We're extremely skeptical to that character. But of course the decision is yours, HeySeuss...

Using our understanding of the sheet, we ran it through a Mary Sue Litmus test. The score ended up at 92 (or 142, depending on a single uncertain point).

A listing of what the point amounts count for is here:

Here's something you can use to improve the character

Ah I see... Either way that's kind of bad.

I will have to rework the character a bit...

The link you sent was helpful, but I admit that the guides are problematic for the character I had in mind.

Angron is not meant to be a likeable badass, or even trying to earn the parties respect. Angron is meant to be a somewhat deranged monster who's only redeeming feature is that he is really good at killing people (A skill that that a increasingly desperate Republic could use).

Then again, I can understand why, in a story about falling to darkness, having a character start off radiating darkness itself could be an issue.

The Non-Jedi won't fall quite so much. Primarily because they don't have to start out as nice.

Also, having a few points on such a test isn't a bad thing.

If you want some help to fix the character, drop by the IRC.

I'll get around too a more detailed look when I'm out of the doctor's office. But my preliminary concern is this -- IRSOG isn't necessarily about badasses, it's very disciplined special operations types. I'm not sure how an unpredictable monster fits in with that. One of the reasons I'm pushing the Jedi to have skillsets that aren't necessarily applicable to direct combat is that many of their missions won't simply be a matter of lightsaber first.

-puts away his lightsaber and kicks a rock- aww mannnn lol.

Just kidding though. I plan on editing Nero today, probably going to add a droid, some droid repair skills, and piloting capabilities, perhaps medical skills too. I don't know yet. If anyone has an knowledge of the droids that were present during that time let me know. I'm unsure as it is. I need something that's practical for a kid of prestige who's parents has a great influence in his life. I'm thinking either Servant Droid or Child Care Droid (battle edition) lol.

Any of the major classes of droids exist then. HK-24's, T-1's and if you can't find a class of droid in the KOTOR era that you like, invent one. No problemo.

You could go for more mundane medical skills. we're guessing that Elara doesn't have all that much of that, but that is also something we could play around with expanding. We know quite a bit about it in RL, so we can cover it fairly well in RP.

One thing we've not seen anyone noted for so far is ability to navigate indoors and figuring out how a facility ticks. If someone is good at that, it can help IRSOG 37 quite considerably.

Only way to find out is to see if it works when you post, eh?

We're reluctant to give our character most of those traits because it'll be too easy to go OP. With her being tentatively in command of the Jedi in IRSOG 37, we don't want her with too convenient abilities otherwise.
(we put quite a bit of thought into reducing OP capacity)

Ayessa's Force Sight and Farsight are developed to the level where she can, to some extent, perceive entire facilities at once. As long as it isn't a really big facility at least...

Its easiest to do while in the actual facility, and don't expect her to continue keeping it up in combat, but she can do it.

Maybe he learned how to slice through the archives a bit to get things done a bit faster, bump his requests up in priority. Good slicers aren't easily caught, so if he can hack the Jedi Archives, bypass their security and change things around to suit him, that ought to make him a damned good slicer, because the Jedi archives are pretty damn secure. The Mandalorians, by contrast, tend to rely on whatever is in place on facilities they already captured, they do not do information security.

As a general thought, no one took any droids, so if you want to have droids, go for it, though combat and assassin droids would be unlikely, I'd think, given their limited peacetime utility to the Jedi.

Looks like you're going the ex-mercenary or bounty hunter route. That makes a lot more sense given that it's an IRSOG unit.

Well Traest will have the training, most military facilities like IRL between countries in SW follow the same kind of layout. Though ofc this only helps when we're all together. More likely while Traest is leading y'all (For now) you'd be part of a separate team.

Alrighty! My changes are made and I shall tell everyone what they are. He has gained a custom droid named Mercy, droid repair skills, slight piloting, and I added in a bit about precognition in there as well.

I could have a personal droid as Traest...
