Chat rooms are great. But don't let it take over the OCC's job completely, it can be detrimental.

True, but sometimes it's nice to talk in real time. Though I agree, it's not good if important things come up in the chatroom. Because then the conversation continues on and gets lost and people miss it, etc. Among other things.

Uarashi Swarms

Location: The Nassi System is located far into the Outer Rim Regions of the Galactic East.
Form of Govt. and Applicable Leader(s): The Swarms are a Hivemind under the absolute command of Queen and the Ruling Caste.
History: Little is actually known about the Uarashi to modern civilizations, they simply are seen as a marauding force, sacking entire worlds. However, their history traces back a thousand years ago, once an ancient, but power empire, the Nassu, reigned over large swaths of the Eastern Parts of the Milky Way Galaxy, ruling worlds numbering in the thousands. However, the Nassu Empire was torn apart in a century long civil war, and in sheer desperation, the Nassu Loyalists sought to end the war as swiftly as possible. Deep in their laboratories they grew an army fit for the Loyalists final offensive, the Uarashi , in their language translated into "Sword", a fitting name. The Uarashi were then unleashed upon the rebels, their vast numbers and ferocity outmatching the rebel armies, within a few years, the rebels were put down once and for all, however, the Naasu Loyalists were unaware of the monsters they had unleashed on the galaxy.

The Uarashi did not simply stop with the rebels, they continued fighting, The Uarashi Queens, their Overseers eventually turned on their masters and made war against the whole Empire. For over two decades, they fought, their numbers seem almost unending until the Naasu Empire completely collapsed and descended into chaos. With their masters in shambles, veering onto extinction, the Uarashi , for a while, feasted upon the conquered worlds, for centuries they remained hidden, far from the eyes of the galaxy. But this silence would not last forever, the Uarashi soon bled the Naasu Worlds dry, and were devoid of life. Now, the Uarshi turn their eyes to the whole galaxy, and continue their mission as directed. For Two hundred years the Uarashi had plagued the Milky Way, besieging worlds and devouring all life, and they will continue this campaign until nothing remains.

One of the dots is inside the purple blob. The other is on the far right. It's a green dot near the edge of the galaxy.

I mean, why are they tiny. As they're fleets? Maybe just represent them less proportionally, with a star or point etc.

Well, because Sigma and I both only control a single star system. I could replace them with a star. I guess.

Woop woop

I'm thinking of adding a 'species' section - or something similar - probably to character and nation apps, for the alien nations. Thoughts?

Also, currently making my human faction's app.

I'm fine with the Technocracry's map representation

@Jeddaven. Perhaps have a separate Co
Compendium thread that houses sheets and miscellaneous lore and such for perusal?

Hope to see the human factions soon. Too many Xenos is bad for business, especially since I got a xeno too due to not really knowing what sort of human civ to make. But may my sugar cubes make fun contact for the other aliens be it bugs or slugs

Bird people all female and of course look like people.

C'mon. Why not have a all-female race of space squid things or some radially symmetrical thing with 6 limbs and a short stature?

Also there's this crude "map" that's really meant to point locations and is not official:

Because that's terminals' quarter.

An avian race is legit if you ask me.

Yes, but why do avians have na'vi-like faces?

Why do the they look like spiders and sugar cubes?
Because we describe in terms of what we know and also, any one configuration is as likely as the other. I don't see the point in knit picking someone's species unless it's blatantly poor, which it isn't.
