So hey, could I make a character in the vein of the extra heroes if all the ranger slots are filled up? If you're not comfortable with me coming up with whatever powerset on my own I could copy an existing one I suppose.

Greetings, gentlemen. Here's to hopefully some fine swashbuckling action.

Gokai Pink [+]

Appearance: Whee. Not all that tall, probably only just barely five foot. Probably wears something a bit less archaic most of the time.

Name: Alfhildr Arnborg

Age: 19

Gokai color: Pink

Bio: Hailing from the far-off planet of Valhol, Alfhildr comes from a long line of fierce and proud warriors, akin to the vikings of Earth's past. When the Zangyack came to Valhol, they found that the natives didn't take too kindly to their usual "enslave and conquer" schtick, fighting back with uncontained viciousness and fury, perfectly willing to die to protect their homeworld. Due to how much resources the war effort against the planet was costing the Zangyack, they decided to let them do just that, changing their plans for the planet from "conquest" to "demolition". Those on the planet didn't realize this until it was too late to evacuate, and thus the only survivors of Valhol were those who were off-world at the time. Alhildr, being one of the few left of her race, turned to mercenary work to help vent her anger, taking on any job that would let her strike back at the Zangyack. Unfortunately, this eventually left her in over her head, and were it not for the timely intervention of a silver-suited figure she would most likely have died. Owing her life to this mysterious "Gokai Silver", she swore an oath to one day repay the favour, and soon enough she had joined his crew as Gokai Pink.

Other: Proud, boisterous and possessing no indoor voice, Alfhildr is somewhat different from other past pink rangers. She is straightforward and about as subtle as a sledgehammer, and just as blunt. She expects honesty from everyone, and has trouble wrapping her head around the concepts of "lying" and "sarcasm". Despite her planet having been destroyed and most of her people killed, she's not exactly the mopey sort; she's less sad about their deaths and more angry at the Zangyack stooping to such cowardly tactics rather than fighting them honourably. Alfhildr's bounty currently stands at 500,000 Zagin.

Not gonna lie I didn't think anything up yet since I figured it was a long shot, so it might take a few days to PM you the bio. That's the nice thing about extra heroes tho, you can introduce them late. I'm considering a privateer from a planet or organization also opposed to Zangyack. He might as well be a pirate and part of his job is that if he gets caught he'll be considered as such and all involvement with him denied, but since he's technically backed by a letter of marque supplied by a government he puts on airs.

Isn't "Extra Heroes" kind of GokaiSilver's shtick though? Since in the show Gai has used the Ranger Keys for both Signalman from Gekisou Sentai Carranger and Black Knight from Seijuu Sentai Gingaman.

He's used those two and he gets his hands on the keys for a whole lot of extra heroes from Basco even if he doesn't use em in the show. But here's my reasoning: That's kinda boring. Sixths and extra heroes aren't the same thing, and while having them all in one character was probably more comfortable for the show makers it doesn't mean that it's the best course of action, particularly for a roleplay that already deviates from canon. Not to mention Gokai Silver uses those two extra hero keys compared to 14 sixth ranger keys, which I feel puts him rather firmly in the sixth ranger ground. Hell Gokai Silver can keep the extra heroes keys if you guys want, I'm not even a huge fan of a million forms gimmick. I can work this into my character by giving him an attitude about having to rely on other people's powers instead of your own.
