[OOC] Pirate Squadron Gokaiger (A super sentai RP)

Earth, the home of humanity, a world that despite it's dull appearance has seen it's share of excitement through the last three decades. For over thirty four years strange forces sometimes super natural, sometimes man made, sometimes otherworldly in nature and with every one of them that has appeared, a group of individuals would rise up to face them. Despite small numbers, often groups of five maybe six and seven if they were lucky, they would always drive those threats back. These were the teams known as the Super Sentai, they made up for their low numbers with their own weapons, abilities and even giant robots of varying kinds. Their origins just as different and unique as their myriad enemies. Even when their battles were over and their enemies defeated they often still remained with their powers intact, sometimes continuing to watch over earth and occasionally aiding a new generation in a time of need. It seemed as if they would always be there for the span of their natural, and in some cases unnaturally long, lives coming and going as they were needed.

Rules:
1. no godmoding our powerplaying (In some cases involving villains it is allowed but still ask before doing so)

2. if you wont be able to post for a while have someone (other than me) cover for you

3. Try to post regularly, but dont double post

6. Try not to leave people behind and dont rush the plot

7. Relationships are allowed but dont make the whole rp about it.

8. If playing as an alien character explain what makes the species different from humans. If they are no different than just use a human.

Gear

Transformation Cellphone Mobirates :The Mobirates are the Gokaigers' transformation device. The Gokaigers can transform by inserting a Ranger Key with the activation call of "Gokai Change"

Gokai Sabre : The Gokai Sabre is the Gokaigers' primary sword sidearm, resembling a cutlass with a built-in grappling hook. It is able to utilize the Ranger Keys to activate a Final Wave attack after a Ranger Key is set into the hilt.

Gokai Gun : The Gokai Gun is the Gokaigers' primary firearm sidearm, resembling a flintlock pistol. It is able to utilize the Ranger Keys to activate the Gokai Blast Final Wave attack.


GoKai Spear: Has two mode, Spear mode and Gun mode. He can insert the ranger key to use the final wave, Gokai Shooting Star attack.


Ranger Keys: Figures which fold into a key form which allow the Gokaigers to transform when inserted into the Mobirater.

Mecha/Vehicles

GokaiMachines:

Gokai Galleon : Gokai Red's three-masted galleon-like spacecraft that the Gokaigers use as their base of operations as they search for the Greatest Treasure in the Universe. It is equipped with the Galleon Cannons and several beam cannons on its wings. It holds the four other Gokai Machines in a fashion similar to a Matryoshka doll, with Gokai Trailer as the second largest mecha, the third being Gokai Marine, fourth is Gokai Racer and Gokai Jet being the fifth. As part of Gokaioh, the Gokai Galleon forms the robot's head and torso.

Gokai Jet: Gokai Blue's jet-like mecha that forms the helmet and the right arm of Gokaioh. It is armed with a series of beam and vulcan cannons as well as a powerful energy cannon.

Gokai Trailer : Gokai Yellow's semi-trailer truck-like mecha that stores Gokai Marine. Forms the left leg of Gokaioh. Its offensive abilities lie in its strong ramming power.

Gokai Racer : Gokai Green's race car-like mecha that stores Gokai Jet. Forms the left arm of Gokaioh. It is armed with a beam cannon and an energy cannon.

Gokai Marine: Gokai Pink's submarine-like mecha that stores Gokai Racer. Forms the right leg of Gokaioh. It is armed with a beam cannon, tracking torpedoes, and homing mines.

Pirate Combination Gokaioh: A giant robot formed from the Gokai Galleon and the Gokai Machines.

GoZyu Drill: Gokai Silver Time ranger key call forth the GoZyu. When activated it can become GoZyuRex with the help of the Dragonranger key, and into humanoid form GoZyuJin with the AbareKiller hey.

Current leader of the invasion force being a relative of the Emperor he mostly got ahead through the use of his family connections. Tends to blame his failures on subordinates and erases the records of those failures whenever possible. Nevertheless he is not to e underestimated.

Sent by the Emperor in order to aid Niall in the Earth invasion, unlike his superior he is a far more competent strategist.

Development Technical Officer Celina: NPC
Zangyack's mad scientist, supplying the Action Commanders with powerful weapons and modifications. Using a special gun-shaped controller, she can fire the Gigant Horse's enlargement cannons to resurrect defeated Action Commanders and make them grow giant.

Bio: Born on planet earth, he has always wanted to see the Super Sentai in action. Getting the opportunity to go to Japan at the age of 14 to visit a well known super sentai expert by the name of Gai Ikari to learn more about them. Unknown to Recca at the moment that Gai was a retired super sentai himself. He would listen to him speak of his adventures but not knowing he was reliving him. Recca always wonder how he could know so much and in so much detail as if he was there fighting along side them. He just figured this is why they call him an expert. Gai was well with in his 50s and he still had so much energy it was amazing. Recca wanted to be his student and live with him and learn as much as he could. Gai agreed to take him in and also trained him on fighting. Recca wrote back home to his parents letting them know that he was being accepted into a school out in Japan and would come home to visit during the holidays.

Days turned in to months, and months into years. Recca now 27 approaching his 28th birthday sat next to Gai on his death bed. Gai looked at him and said, "I have taught you everything I know about the super sentai, and now i have one last secret to tell you. I was originally Gokai Silver, after we stopped and destroyed the Zangyack army we knew earth was at peace once again. But i have always feared that the threat was not completely over and Marvelous knew it also. As much as i wanted to leave with him on their space expedition into the deep unknown I have no reason to want to leave the earth unprotected. With the key scattered again going off to find new sentai who knew when that would happen. But I always told him if he needed me i would be there. The years passed and earth was peaceful. I Relinquish my ranger keys sending it off into space hoping it would reach Marvelous but they did not go into space They went north. This is my Mobirater, when I take my final breath follow it see where it leads you. You have been my first pupil and good friend all these years to an old man."

Gai took his last breath Recca hung his head in a deep sadness, then the Mobirater started to glow. It shot threw the top of the roof and Recca ran outside. He watched as it it started to head north. He looked back at the house and turned to run off after it. After a while he reached a huge cavern in the middle of a deep Forrest Mountain area. and there was a huge hole in the side of it looking like something dug its way in there or crashed. He saw a small entrance to the east of it and decided to head inside.

Other: After Finding the Gogallion he returned to where Gai was passed away but when he returned Gai body was gone. All that was left was his scarf that he always wore. Recca grabbed it and put it around his neck. He would Remember him in his own way. clothes with silver in it with the scarf around his neck where ever he went.

Appearance: A slender youth with bronzed-ebony skin, Regal stands at about 5'11” and has a powerfully intimidating glare in his hazel eyes. His close shaved head is dark with soft fuzz while his nose is straight and lips, full. His body is tense and defined from actively working out and having a lean diet. He usually wears a sterling silver earring in his right ear; its image that of a dragon's head. He is fond of the color red when its come to his attire and often wears slim-black jeans with leather boots, its tongue fashionable untied.

Age: 20
Gokai Color: Gokai Red
Bio: Brash, incompetent, and yet hopelessly optimistic; it goes without saying that Regal was a rambunctious child. While he traveled around the world more times than he could count on one hand, it was always a new adventure for him. Quite the wild child to begin with, he started a ruckus whereever he went. Not so much as shouting as he simply enjoyed life to the fullest. While visiting a different country at the age of ten, he was enthralled by the sudden outburst of militant, alien, forces. In the end he was saved by a Sentai Team, all of which were radiating with hope and strength.

In the pursuit of becoming like them, a beacon for others to look up to, Regal went on a test to prove himself. He traveled to different countries, learning all kinds of martial training, though in the end; he made a complex art of his own. His master called it “A innate form of physical adaption”.

With his heart's goal set in concrete stone, reinforced with steel, and refined by his burning passion; he was off to find his own destiny by confronting the evils in the world. Though his heart roared out to those with a understanding of his own actions, its also whimpered for those incapable of defending themselves. Hoping to find a better way to eliminate the overall cause; Regal begin his own crusade against this evil.

Other: Although incompetent, Regal runs more or less on intuition; often complaining that his gut doesn't agree when he feels something is off. Straight forward and honest, not much will be left unsaid and while not typical smart enough to be of leader material, his optimism usually shines brighter than most. If he ever grows silent be wry.

Regal tends to be intimidating from his appearance but he's actually very kind and jolly. He tends to say “I can feel the impulse” before fighting. When he was younger, his mother once told him to tell himself this (albeit in a calmer manner) when he felt he was going to be impulsive; in hopes that he'd reconsider. That however, never happened.

Except he has a long coat that's blue colored because sentai so I guess it looks like Vergil's trench coat

Bio: Born on the planet Gamulon as a simple shephard. He wondered amongst the plush purple hills, plates, and mountain sides on his idyllic looking planet. That is until the Zangyack empire decided to stop over and conquer as a fleet way station. His planet was quickly taken over due to their immense strength and soon he found himself on unemployed and under the foot of an uncaring overlord. With no real way out he did what many others did which was to turn to a life a crime. He'd soon find himself as a novice pirate with a gang known only as the Dang Naam Boys where they'd raid all sorts of vessels especially lone unattended Zangyack ships easily causing thousands if not millions of Zagins worth of damage and stolen goods. Each plunder serving to satiate his desire for revenge against the Zangyack Empire.

Eventually he'd grew experienced enough to part ways which he did as despite his love of plunder. He desired to begin to fight back against the tyranny of Zangyack. Eventually he'd find himself working on the famed space station/ bar known as the Traveller's Glint a roaving space station never known for staying in one place. One day things would be looking up when a stranger calling himself the next pirate king his name was Recca Bell. He said something about a treasure and being intrigued by his words joined him thinking it would be something useful to fight against the Zangyack

Bio: While on the outside she seems like a fairly ordinary, if a little bubbly sixteen year old, she wasn’t always so. In fact, she was once quite the opposite.

The sad fact is that she was orphaned in a Zangyack attack on her homeworld when she was just six years old. And while she was found crying in the rubble by the Gokai Galleon’s crew, it was several months before she said a word. Instead she spent most of that time either drawn up in one corner, or fiddling with mechanical things, trying to find out how they worked and how to repair them, which didn’t really stop after she finally came back out of her shell.
Other: Jenny's also a fairly skilled mechanic, able to fix machines and occasionally people too, since there’s not really a problem that a Wrench Whack to the head can’t solve. At least in her mind, anyway.

Bio: Norvil Caine was born on the Planet Anekm, to a respectable Merchant Family which held a rather high place of prominence in Anekm Society. As such Norvil Caine was groomed to be just like the rest of the family, a respectable figure who would be a successful merchant and politician. However, those plans quickly changed (and weren't likely due to Norvil's perpetual slacking and scheming ways in order to slack, which resulted in more work than actually doing the work) as Norvil and his close friends discovered the wonders of planet's botany, in particular the herbs of the planet.
So he mulled away delving into the Family Riches to support an isolationist life-style where he would endulge himself with feasts most fancy, various entertainment mediums, his favorite was using robots to fight against each other, and procuring of the delightful herbs. Then everything changed Zangyack Nation attacked.
Norvil escaped the planet in his personal escape-pod/ship, in which he contained a small fortune, a fragment of the family fortune, which was taken by the Empire. However, Norvil quickly blew through most of it when he discovered the other wonderous things of the universe. Though he still had his investments mostly intact, investing in weaponry stocks when a murderous Space Empire went on a glorious rampage, really, really paid off. However, he found himself returning to thoughts about obtaining victory against the Empire, and reclaiming the lost fortunes of his family. It was chance, when he overheard some discussion at a diner about Recca Bell, who was gathering individuals to fight against the Empire, and Norvil knew what he had to do, after he ate of course.

Other: He has an incredible fortune of wealth in liquid assets, enough to help keep a steady stream of supplies flowing to the crew, in times of unsuccessful plunders, usually rations. His escape pod-ship has enough room for three people, however they'd be somewhat cramped, it contains a full pantry of various rations, and a internet system. He is fairly knowledgeable about botany of various planets.
