Rokoru slowly lowered himself into the hot water slowly until he found himself seated on an underwater step, and upon realizing it, he let out a long and relaxed sigh out as he felt the heat from the water on almost all of his body. The steam that came off from the surface heated everything not submerged above his chest. The feeling of the water was incredibly pleasant on all his muscles after having done most of the heavy lifting they had to do in the range earlier, and prior to that, he had practiced a bit and as usual he held it longer and harder than he needed to, quickly wearing himself out a bit. A good way to ease the aching in his arms, legs, and torso was just what he needed, and he jumped on the offer when one of Hashimoto’s suspiciously muscular friends suggested going to some new hot springs that opened up in one of the towns a little ways out of Warakuma.

He leaned back, sliding a little further into the water until only his neck and head were above the surface, resting his head on the smooth tile at the edge of the springs. His hands ran down his body subconsciously, stopping at the part of his abs that ached the most. The spot didn’t feel entirely solid and the boy made a mental note to work out more, though the idea quickly fled his mind as the boy sunk a little further into the water, putting his arms behind his head in an attempt to get more comfortable than he already was.

Though, his attention was brought back to the real world when a huge splash of water erupted from the place where someone jumped in. Rokoru immediately sat up straight and awkwardly covered his crotch with his arms despite the water being nearly impossible to see through when combined with the little light available at night. The third-year had to remind himself that some other members of the club had went with him, and the only reason he was alone in the springs for so long was because he quickly stripped right by the water’s edge, getting in and enjoying it before others made it awkward. The idea of being naked around other guys (let alone girls, but that was a different story) bothered him a bit, but leaving as soon as they get there would be weird. It wasn’t like he even wanted to leave the warm embrace of the hot springs either, so the strange position he took would have to suffice.

Rokoru simply glared at the several guys (which included Sato) that followed the one into the water through the steam that rose from the surface of the springs. There was nothing nice about some group of dudes he barely knew chatting up a storm while he was trying to silently submerge himself in warmth and just let every muscle in his body relax. But, it wasn’t like sitting there, all withdrawn in on himself, wasn’t nice. The only difference was that he wasn’t stretched out and his collarbone and part of his shoulders were now out of the water. It wasn’t bad at all.

Sachiko wasn’t sure why they had but some third-years had asked her to help them with a film for one of their classes by dealing with the whole actually filming it part. They offered her some cash for doing it, and having nothing else to do, she obliged and agreed to deal with a camera for their money. It wasn’t like it’d be hard or anything; all she’d have to do was put up with some older guys for an afternoon and then go home and never talk to them again. But, when she had showed up on the time agreed, a variety of things tipped her off as to what she was supposed to be filming. She considered herself a strong person, but nothing could have prepared her for what the group had planned for their project. Sachiko had assumed it to be some re-enactment of something or just some documentary-type thing, but no. It was somehow worse than a horribly boring hour of some highschool guys repeating what the teacher said for marks.

As soon as she stood behind the camera and begun preparing for shooting, the three noticeably stockier guys of the five ripped off their shirts and the ones that didn’t already slid on a belt. She took a deep breath to deal with what her new expectations of what was going to happen. It struck her as foolish that she didn’t think some band of stupid third-year guys wouldn’t do something as equally stupid. Though, there was no backing out, for they had already paid her and she really wanted the extra cash. While exhaling the deep breath she took, she pressed the record button and flashed a thumbs up to the one who seemed to be the leader of the project. The boy waved a arm at the others and Sachiko watched on utterly silently as the guys went through what they hopefully practiced.

At first, it seemed relatively whatever, just three guys flexing and going through a choreograph to some random music and what not (though one had noticeably more intense biceps than the others.) Sachiko thought of it simply as a testosterone overload in it’s purest form, though she grew a little more concerned when the fourth guy (who was no where near as muscular as the other three guys) joined the fray. The guy did a few front flips before doing one last flip onto the dude with the most muscle's shoulders after he knelt down. With the slender student now on his shoulders, he stood where he assumed center-frame was (and wasn’t too far off) and waited for the other two to stand on opposite sides of him and make a bench with their arms. The student on the guy’s shoulders jumped off and forward a bit, changing pose mid-air and landing on the guys’ arms in a French girl pose.

After watching them hold the pose for a while, Sachiko glanced over at the director, who replied with a simple nod. She quickly stopped the recording and waved to the performers. At the sign, they dropped the posing boy onto the ground before walking off frame. The guys pulled their shirts back on (except for the notably shorter one) and walked off to who-knows-where without a single word to her. The director dude gave her a quick few thanks and even an apology before following the other three as soon as the person they dropped to the ground got up and unruffled himself.

Over-all, 7/10 day.

Even after having the book he was reading torn away from his hands, Yuki seemed unfazed. After some time of having the taller boy hover of him, he looked up at Taro and shot him an unimpressed glare. He laughed to himself a bit before returning the novel to Yuki, who stood up quickly and walked over to Taro letting the book hang from his equally as loose hand. Having stepped out of the shade, Yuki found it a bit hard to keep his eyes open when the sun shone so brightly, reflecting off the snow and thus making it even harder to actually look at anything besides the dimness of the spot he was just in. Even if he wanted to though, going back or even looking back at it was nearly impossible once Taro had stepped inbetween him and it, his frame directly in front of him and thus rendering his apathetic attempts to lust over it futile, for he was too tired to simply move his line of sight around the boy.

“You can’t just waste the whole trip, man! You’re supposed to have fun skiing, not reading the same book for the hundredth time!” Yuki merely sighed at the words. It pained him to admit, but he was right that he was invited for a ski trip, and everyone was expected to ski on said trip. Hence the name. Defeated, Yuki walked off a bit towards the main building, looking back at Taro to give him the hint that he was going to at least try to ski with him and the others. Fortunately he got the purpose behind the stare and quickly caught up to him, romping through the snow until he was walking besides Yuki.

Once geared up and up the hill, Yuki soon regretted both his compliance to Taro’s wishes and his lack of sleep, for he had neglected to tell anyone that he had A.) never skied before, and B.) had absolutely no clue what he was even doing. It didn’t take long for Taro to bolt off down the hill, spraying snow at his wake every twist and turn he did with his skiis. Not wanting to seem pathetic and scared, Yuki slowly let himself away from his flat starting position on top of the hill, gaining speed the further he went along until he needn’t anymore manual propulsion. It didn’t seem that hard to survive at first, having to simply keep straight until the bottom of the hill or whenever he’d stop. But it was all false hope, for as soon as the incline got steeper and he picked up speed, he lost control of himself, sliding off of his feet and tumbling down the hill until he eventually stopped only a slightly flatter part of the snow. It didn’t exactly go as planned, but Yuki considered it a gain, as he learned a few things about how to ski.

1.) Go on an easier hill when first starting out. 2.) Actually learn how to ski before trying to do it in front of your peers, to avoid looking like an idiot.

Age: 17, born on Febuary 25th.

Appearance: The most immediately noticeably thing about him is how the top of his hair stands up in a permanent cowlick. The reason being that it’s more noticeable than other things is that he’s shorter/smaller than a lot of the other students in his year, standing at 162 cm and weighing about 58 kg. His define and sharp features are usually stuck in a furrowed expression, typically betraying his feelings. The boy tends to wear his uniform in a rather plain fashion, only opening the collar of it as he feels it’s a bit stuffy with it fastened around his neck. Most of his outfits consists of layers of warm clothing, such as sweaters, vests, and jackets, often accompanied by scarves or hats in the winter.

Personality: Wordless by nature, Yuki rarely shows much interest in others. Just because he doesn’t show it, however, doesn’t mean it’s there. He’s attentive to others (often just listening to a conversation than participating) and can read people as well as he can read an actual book. Though, despite his apparent withdrawn personality, Yuki’s stubborn and will settle for nothing less than his way, though he rarely vocalizes his protests and instead resorts to more “childish” methods of deterring people from following anybody but him.

Skills/Equipment: Since his favorite pastime is reading, Yuki can read incredibly well, and can even write his own weight in gold. His memory’s fairly solid as well though he often gets distracted by something before it really comes in handy.

Background: A third-year student in class 3-1 who was raised in Warakuma. Being the scholarly type he is, Yuki excels in his academics and is seen as a star pupil by most of his teachers. He doesn’t talk much, and resultantly, combined with other things, he never had very many friends. Though, the boy never minded it and instead just went along with whoever would bother to talk to him at the time. One of the best ways to get “temporary friends” was to join a club and tag along with whoever would let him, which ended up being the club president of the archery team when he had endlessly offered to teach him until Yuki accepted. Though, despite his apparent friendship with the people at the range, Yuki’s only real interest in companionship lies elsewhere.
