I'm here! I'm here! Sorry for the absence. My internet was rebelling against this site. It does that sometimes. I'll read over the things which have been posted once I get the chance to. Probably tomorrow.

Or I can totally read it now while I have the chance...

@ UnseenShade - Glad to have a super flexible and experienced player in the mix!

@ Mystyltainn - Pathfinder is extremely similar to 3.5, so brushing up on the rules won't be difficult. The main difference that I can think of is how combat maneuver stuff works. (Unless there was combat maneuver stuff in 3.5 that I'm just not remembering. I don't think CMB and CMD existed in 3.5...)

So we have five players now, yes? Unless someone else is super, super interested in joining, I think I'll cut off the sign-ups at this point. Five is plenty. And I'll get the OOC topic posted soon, I hope. I would have had it posted a couple days ago, but the site wasn't cooperating with my internet at all. It seems to be doing better today, at least!

This one's more along the lines of druid. But I may not make one at all. I like my aasimar sorceress.
But...Drow Noble Nature Oracle Spirit Guide. Undecided on curses.

We DO need someone with a ton of skills. That would be nice.

If you give me specific examples of things you don't understand, I can help. Otherwise, all I can say is they do most of the work for you.

Oh yeah, can I still have the aviators? They don't have to do anything but I'd like to have them

Sure. You can have the aviators. The tinting to them can be a prestidigitation effect that the seller plopped on there to make them look cooler. (Unsurprisingly, the seller in question made a bundle on the cool glasses. People who want to look like they're all that and a bag of chips now have sunglasses.)

I was looking into Ranger and saw that they can go down a two-handed weapon combat style with the advanced player guide. Are we using those rules? Cuz if we are, that's probably what I'm gonna play. =w= If not, then maybe Barbarian or Paladin or something.

I have a good idea for the main hub/town thing

We should be able to upgrade it eventually by rescuing NPCs or getting materials or something like that

As in, the blacksmith's closed because the black-smith's missing and we then get a job to find him after the townspeople trust us some more

That's an interesting idea. Not sure if I'll use it, since I plan for this to be set in a large city from the get-go, but maybe there will be room for upgrades. Or, heck, people could be missing even in a city. A Job Board prompt could very easily be to rescue someone. Do keep in mind that you guys largely have control over what sorts of missions I throw at you.

Maybe we eventually all build our own "Pathfinders' Keep"? ^~^ Like...recruit as we go? Then we have the big city, AND another place that we can go. More jobs, more world interaction...dunno.
I'm still deciding on a character. Very likely going to use my aasimar sorceress, though. Unless I make something else I like. I'm thinking someone turning down their lack of humanity and taking a human name.

Would you say changelings count as humans (or as their father's race in general) for feats and whatnot? Since they're the offspring of hags and another humanoid. For if I wanted to use Racial Heritage, I mean. They don't technically have that subtype (humanoid (changeling) instead of humanoid (human)), but as I said, they're the offspring of hags and another race. Just for one race is all I'm asking. Not for racial traits or anything, just for feats, etc. Or even for counting as them if targeted by spells...

If you get lucky with a deck of many things, you can get +6 on diplomacy +a small castle that you can just dump anywhere, so if we want a base and we're too lazy we could always just risk our very existences and use the deck of many things

Oh yeah, if anyone is needing in races I have a pretty sweet custom race my friend made

Abyss Walker

Stats: (I forget, I'll add it later)

Bonus stuff:
-They don't need to sleep eat or breathe
-They are immortal so they get no ageing penalties or bonuses
-Wings with 50ft flight at average manoeuvrability
-Darkvision 60ft
-Abyss vision: Perfect vision in darkness, but -2 on all rolls when in daylight or a brightly lit area that depend on vision
-Negative energy manipulation: Abyss walkers have the ability to manipulate negative energy and use it to craft items and stuff
-Once a day, you can turn into an Abyssal Beast at level 20
-Abyssal claws: two claw attacks which do 1d6 each +2 against living creatures because of negative energy
-Abyssal Bite: A bite attack that does 1d8 +2 against living because of negative energy

Conditions:
-Most abyss walkers are native outsiders from my campaign's version of the abyss plane
-It's the Abyss plane not the Abyssal plane
-You can become an abyss walker depending on how long you stay in the abyss
-When you stay for at least a year, you gain Abyss vision because it's so dark
-At a certain point you stop ageing depending on your life-span, or after 10 years
-At some point you stop needing to eat sleep or breathe
-After you've lived past your full life-span (or 100 years or something) you become an Abyssal beast that rages uncontrollably
-Abyssal beasts are usually like giant hell hounds of darkness but it might depend on your bloodline
-After you've been in the abyss for a total of 300 years you turn back into a humanoid form and become an Abyss walker

Appearance:
Those that have survived the transformation from Abyssal beast to Abyss Walker will find that their skin has become a light purple colour and if they can see them, their whole eyes are changed to one colour. The colour varies from person to person, and there is no distinctive pattern or average colour.

The wings of the Abyss walkers are black, and sometimes crackle with negative energy in the form of black lightning. The new-born (300 year old) Abyss walkers have clipped wings and can only fly 30ft.

Abyss walkers who live for a longer time gain permanent glowing purple tattoos on their skin which can serve as a channel for divine power (basically a divine focus).
