After the battle with the Brotherhood of Evil, the Teen Titans must come to terms with the after affects of it and learn to work with the many new member of their team. New faces, temperaments and powers are present and new challenges will face the group of young heroes.
Rules:
No god-modding (example: As Slade's blow was about to connect and end Javin, a bolt of lightning struck Slade and he was dead. Outrageously ridiculous things of that sort.)

No strong language. I can live with brief language, but lets try to keep the content of this RP YA to PG-ish. Sex (overt or suggested) will not be tolerated in any way and will result in a ban. Romance/attachments are just fine and will help develop characters.

Zone movement limitations for each post. No more than around 1-2 city blocks per post, unless you are flying or in a vehicle, which must be declared. The speed of vehicles will vary, use OOC to clarify what you would be using. For "fillers", fast travel is fine. Just not looking to teleport around in the middle of combat kinda thing. (FYI, I will not be super strict on the actual distance. If a character had the intrinsic ability to move a couple of football fields in one go, then that is their deal.)

Have fun and make it epic!

There [b]will[b/] be deaths if the situation becomes so dire and/or the character makes a multitude of poor choices, but that will happen only as a last resort. I don't want to kill anyone and I'm not going to hit ya with an insane baddie right off the bat.......

[b]Master Crim is co-running this with me and will be offering input on the CS and helping me moderate the threads.[b/]

Full Name: Ever Silmore
Nickname: Inferno/Blade
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Trouble: She left her family because she was too afraid to hurt them with her powers. If someone were to capture her family, ultimately, she would give in to whatever demands they would have. Also, since she is has fire powers, she tries to stay away from large bodies of water. She also has dual personalities. Ever and Inferno are one personality, Blade is the other. The problem with Blade is that she is a neutral character and can easily be swayed from good to bad. Like Red X, but not with Robin in the suit.
Powers: Inferno has fire powers in which she can create multiple things out of fire. Her eyes turn red whenever she creates it. She can take the heat from the air and create a spark in which she can create fire from. Blade mostly uses the swords and is crazy good with them.
Skills: She is very nimble and agile and is good at gymnastics. She is good at distance fighting, but could use some work on close range fighting.
Equipment: When she isn’t using her powers, she has two double swords that she uses. She can light the blades on fire to where she has fire swords, but she tends just to use them as regular double swords. When she uses her swords, she sometimes goes in and out of her Blade personality.
Personality Traits: Inferno is very loud and matches her powers. She is very energetic and fiery. She loves to run around and is very protective of any friends she makes. She also has a short fuse when it comes to anger. If you set her off, she will be mad within seconds of you setting her off. She also holds grudges.
Blade is quiet and collect, but also cunning. She is a master thief, or used to be. She watches the villain world with envy and the hero world with a little spite, but since Ever/Inferno has more control over her body, she sits in wait until she can take over the whole body for herself.
Place Of Origin: Unknown

Description (Pic is optional):
(Except her eyes are a dark red color)

Bio: Ever grew up not really knowing where she came from. She was found on the doorstep of an adoption home with a note that said, “Take care of me”. No one would adopt her because of her strange eyes, so she pretty much grew up in that home. That’s where she developed the second personality of Blade, but no one, not even she, knew about her yet. Blade was her naughty side and kept getting her into trouble. But even with Blade, she made a lot of friends there, and actually figured out how to control her powers there. She did wind up burning down the orphanage though, and she was put on the streets. She bounced from orphanage to orphanage until she was nine. That’s when she decided she had had enough and went to live on the streets. She ultimately became a crime fighter when she saw a man robbing an older woman of her purse. She brought the man down and returned the purse to the woman. The woman then asked where her parents were and Ever responded, “I don’t have any.”
The older woman adopted her into her family of two children, a boy and another girl, and her husband. She lived there until she was fifteen, which is when something awful happened. She accidentally burned her older brother when he was play fighting with her. Fearing for her family safety, she ran away and lived on the streets again, until she heard of these people called the Teen Titans, a group of special teen crime fighters. She joined in the battle against the Brotherhood of Evil and got a communicator. She heads to Jump City to meet up with the rest of the new Titans.

Full Name:
Christian H. Draconis
Nickname:
Chris or Drake
Gender:
Male
Age:
Chronological - 32
Physical - 18
Powers:
Chris is a descendant of an ancient race known as Dragon Shifters, and with this comes a host of powers and weaknesses.
There are two ways he can use his dragon form Phase 3 change into what humans know to be dragons, big fire breathing monsters. Phase 2 change into a more humanoid looking dragon. Phase 1 gives only an armor and a few other powers. Each of these have different perks.
Phase 3:
Chris would be the size of a mid sized two story house.
Scales are thick and almost impenetrable.
hearing, sight and smell is improved 10 fold.
Pain Tolerance allowing him to sustain grievous wounds and still be able to fight hard.
Fire Breath is a mix of two chemicals than become a flaming viscous fluid projecting up to 25 feet.
Flight with his massive wings spanning 50 feet.
Phase 2:
In phase 2 Chris would stand 10 feet tall, and have wings 15 feet across.
he would retain most of the phase 3 powers but they would be to a much lesser degree.
His scales are still very strong
hearing, sight and small in now only 5 fold
he can sustain some major wounds but will be able to feel them more than in phase 3
his fire breath is more like a flame thrower
Phase 1:
In this form Chris stays his human size but will have a scale armor and no wings.
again his powers a relatively the same but to a lesser degree.
His scales are still very srtong
hearing sight and smell is only 3 fold
he has a high pain tolerance, but nothing that will allow him to fight if he is mortally struck
Passive abilities:
Fire manipulation (Not available in Phase 3)
Fire resistance
Increased senses of hearing, sight and smell.
Increased pain tolerance
Increased healing, allowing him to recover from Injuries very quickly, the process in quicker in more Advanced dragon forms.
Slowed Aging allowing his race to live upwards of 150+ years.
Trouble:
As with all dragons Chris is drawn to precious metals with an insatiable lust. this meant that while in phase 2 and more so in phase 3 he will be naturally drawn to these and highly protective of them, but in phase 1 and out of form he can resist the urge.
He is also weak to dragon slaying metals such as iron, and Mithril. These metals will not only have a greater effect on his scaly hide, but if wounded it will cause a burning pain that will affect him more than normal wounds. These metals will also take longer to heal from.
To shift into a dragon form takes a lot of power and this affects Chris when he comes out of form. Phase 1 is not the big of a deal only making him slightly dizzy and tired. Phase 2 will cause him to be nauseated, dizzy and slightly disoriented. Phase 3 will cause Chris to have the overwhelming urge to sleep, he will be extremely dizzy and have next to zero motor skills.
Has a very hard time controlling his anger, and when he can’t he begins to change into Phases as his anger grows.
Skills:
highly skilled in mixed martial arts
proficient in throwing weapons
very intellectual
Equipment:
Throwing knives
Hatchet
Personality Traits:
Chris is hurt. He has known only a life of rejection and being hunted. With this he distances himself from people and tries to hide what he really is. This is for fear of what has happened time and time again: people find out what he is and hate him for it.
Place Of Origin:
high mountains of China where is people live in secret and solitude.

Ever Silmore approved. To what extent do her powers reach into other objects and what is the limit of what she can create?

Christian H. Draconis approved. Only question I have is how long can Drake stay in phase 3 and is there a "cast time", i.e, how long it takes for phase 3 to reach full power?

Sorry for being away for the week, I have been off the computer for Christmas. I won't be on to much until after New Years either.

HAPPY NEW YEARS Y'ALL!!

He can stay in phase 3 for however long he wants, but the after effects are worse the longer he stays in dragon form. This isn't op seeing as he is a huge target in dragon phase 2 and 3. It isn't a cast being as he is not a druid, but a dragon/human. I would take him about 7 seconds to reach full phase 3.

At what rate can it form new nanites from raw material, how long does it take to form a new shape (i.e., sword, gun, new arm) and how durable/damage resistant is the new construct? My hesitation is that she is basically immortal, indestructible and capable of nearly any form of combat and skill(genius level intellect and all). Also, if it is emotionless, why does it feel annoyed my the sound of sirens? A character like that would have a hard time feeling empathy towards the other members of its team and would be unable to form relationships. Seen the movie Transcendent? Reminds me of Will Caster. He can't be destroyed and is able to overcome any opposition without any problems whatsoever using nanites much like Cybers. She seems more like an all powerful being than a teen crime fighter.

Full Name: Tyler Park

Nickname: Startup

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Trouble: He still needs water and air despite all of his powers. Magical energies are beyond the scope of his powers. He is also vulnerable to psychic attacks. He cannot absorb time energy. If he somehow runs out energy, he will be reduced to a human who regularly engages in intense exercise. He can still be crushed or cut in his base state.

Powers: He can absorb plasma energy and radiation. He can fire multiple types of energy from his person. He has been known to shoot electricity, fire, radiation, and solidified energy. He can shoot bubbles, bombs, beams, balls, blasts, bolts, bullets and waves from any part of his body. With extreme concentration, he can make constructs out of energy.

He can only control the energy that comes from his body, that is, he has to absorb it first. He can also hold the energy inside his cells.Using this stored energy, he can go without food or sleep for days. He can use the energy to enhance his agility, reflexes, durability and strength to superhuman levels. He can also use the stored energy for flight.

Skills: Advanced fighter utilizing freestyle wrestling, Aikido, Taekwondo, Judo, Boxing, and Eskrima. Advanced Archer and Swordfighter. Advanced Acrobat and Gymnast. Proficient with firearms.

Equipment: A pair of short eskrima sticks, three aluminum knives, goggles, and a number of energy drinks in various containers.

Personality Traits: He wants everything to be right not good but right. He tries to maximize the happiness of those around him in hopes that it will make him happy. In truth, due to his upbringing the only thing that really makes him happy is combat. He regrets leaving Blüdhaven but believes that learning from others is the best way to be truly effective in his mission. He is prone to bouts of melancholy or apathy.

Place Of Origin: Blüdhaven

Description (Pic is optional): 6’4”, Extremely Muscular build, short dark brown hair, green eyes, he has an olive complexion and delicate features but also a number of scars.
Bio: Tyler was the product of a one night stand between his mother Sandra and an unknown man from a foreign intelligence agency. Sandra was a social worker in Blüdhaven who thought she could make a difference in the corrupt city. Tyler’s father gave Sandra a large sum of money but she stayed in Blüdhaven because of her commitment to making the city a better place. Before he was born, Sandra decided to make Tyler a part of that commitment. Tyler’s mother aimed to mold him into “Blüdhaven’s champion, the city’s favorite son.”

She was very careful with what he was fed and exposed to as a baby. As soon as possible, she had him trained in gymnastics, archery, Aikido, boxing, fencing, Judo, Taekwondo, and Eskrima. She taught his Chess and Go. Long before he started public school, she had private tutors come in and begin his education. She planned for her soon to be an Olympic athlete, then go to college and law school, and finally become the Mayor of Blüdhaven in order to eliminate the corruption and heal the city. Tyler was more interested in the physical side of things. He enjoyed the martial arts and weapons. He identified as a brawler.

As he got older, he began to participate in wrestling and swimming. He got pretty good grades in school. He eventually did get involved with Blüdhaven’s underworld joining a local gang and rising through the ranks pretty quickly. He eventually became the brain of one gang’s entire operation. He tried to use his position to minimize the suffering of all those who lived in Blüdhaven.

After a tragic experience both scarred him and partially activated his powers, he took up costume crime fighting. He tried to stay out of the way of more established heroes but stepped up when they weren’t available to help his city. He was able to deal with most non costumed criminals easily. Against those who were more skilled and more powerful, he had to be more cunning. He adopted a strategy of jumping around and not taking them head on. This worked because initially many underestimated him because he hadn’t made a name for himself yet.

Eventually he became too much of a problem for one criminal, so Joseph Martin, the Atomic Skull, was hired to capture Tyler. Tyler fell for a trap and was easily defeated during battle Martin. Tyler awoke later chained in a warehouse, injured within an inch of his life. Fortunately, he realized that his powers had increased. He blew up the warehouse in an attempt to use his new powers but did manage to escape. He decided to lay lower and learn to use his new powers. As a result, everyone thought that his crime fighting persona had died in the explosion.

After training and realizing he was more powerful than ever, he returned to crime-fighting taking the name, Startup. After a few weeks of success, the Atomic Skull returned to Blüdhaven to finish the job that he was hired to do. Despite being prepared, it was only with extreme difficulty that he was able to battle Martin to a standstill. Realizing the he still wasn’t the hero the city needed him to be, he decided to leave in order to gain experience.

lightdarknight said At what rate can it form new nanites from raw material, how long does it take to form a new shape (i.e., sword, gun, new arm)
Depends on the material, organics is extremely slow, metals are faster, incredibly weak materials (i.e. t-shirts) are convertable but the effort and time it takes to make them durable isn't worth it.

lightdarknight said and how durable/damage resistant is the new construct?
Once the material is converted there is no distinguishing one nanite from another.

lightdarknight said My hesitation is that she is basically immortal
No more immortal than any typical comic book character that Mavel or DC killed and brought back to life.

lightdarknight said indestructible
If Cyber was indestructable there would be no need to leave a piece behind in case of destruction. That would be illogical. An EMP could permanently disable her, that is not indestructible.

lightdarknight said and capable of nearly any form of combat and skill(genius level intellect and all).
Only if Cyber bothers to learn it, if Cyber doesn't see the need to learn something Cyber will not ever possess that knowledge. I actually made her stupider than I originally created her.

lightdarknight said Also, if it is emotionless, why does it feel annoyed my the sound of sirens?
Some things require your undivided attention, sirens would divide that attention thus ruining whatever it was. It's like how golfers don't like people making noise when they are making a shot or a put. Also grating doesn't have to involve emotions.

lightdarknight said A character like that would have a hard time feeling empathy towards the other members of its team
Cyber would never be able to feel empathy for anyone ever.

lightdarknight said and would be unable to form relationships.
Data from Star Trek The Next Generation tv series and movies would disagree with that statement.

lightdarknight said Seen the movie Transcendent?
Never seen Transcendence (that is the actual name) didn't look appealing, seemed like a ripoff of The Lawnmower Man movie and it's sequel.

lightdarknight said Reminds me of Will Caster. He can't be destroyed and is able to overcome any opposition without any problems whatsoever using nanites much like Cybers.
I just read about the movie. Your assessment of the movie is completely off. Will Caster didn't survive the movie, so I don't see how Will fell under the category of 'can't be destroyed' or 'able to overcome any opposition without any problems whatsoever'.

lightdarknight said She seems more like an all powerful being than a teen crime fighter.
Any entity that is a teenager that fights crime is a teen crime fighter regardless of abilities, powers, or success.

1) Your Character IS basically indestructible in that so long as one nanite is still intact, Cyber will be able to survive. Just because you can be shut down does not mean you can be destroyed. Even if you were shut down killing you would be a lot like cleaning sand off of the sidewalk. the only way to kill you is with something like the Little Doctor from Enders Game.

2) Bothering to learn a fighting style is not the issue I have it is that after watching a character fight for only seconds you can know how to perfectly counter all their attacks. Also seeing as you can synthesize a virus at any time all you need to do to take someone down is swarm them and give them a Nero virus.

3) Data was a robot with a program that made him strive to become human in all actions. He would learn and mimic humans. You are not Data.

4) I have seen Transcendence and the only reason he died was because he chose to. In the previous parts he was able to stop people from even getting close to his labs, and revive people who are dead.

5) WRONG! just completely wrong. In all that I have seen and read the Titans in Young justice had mane encounters they could not handle as individuals, and sometimes even had to call for the justice league to back them up. Your character is so powerful that you could, single-handed, take down anyone short of a god.

He can absorb the natural energies that he come in contact, but no magic or psychic energies. He can absorb radiation, plasma energy (lighting and the like), kinetic energy, and thermal energy. This is limited to energy that he has made contact with. He is not able to be tightly strapped to a chair in a dark room and just suddenly decide to absorb energy from the air or suck power from an electrical outlet halfway across the room or anything like that. He would have to be in contact with or really close to absorb any energies. If he was completing a circuit then that energy is fair game but if he is on the ground watching someone else get blasted by energy, he couldn't do anything unless he could get in the energy's path.

Does that suffice?
