Okay, I'll ask one thing first- what's with the constant changing of the other Digimon you're using? First you're saying Gazimon, then you're going with the Meramon group. then randomly Lobomon and co. It's just a bit boggling.
I understand a bit of indecisiveness- I have trouble picking a good Champion for Ryudamon because Ginryumon's not my fave to go to Alphamon persay.
But on similar lines- there are a lot, and I mean a LOT, of possibilities. Surely you can find a way to link the Digimon you want to use. Just look at the ones I used. They make sense, but neither Black War Greymon nor Gaiomon technically Digivolve into Alphamon, but coming from Ryudamon, who's similar to Dorumon, it makes sense. See where I'm coming from? I'm not against helping a player out, but it's not really like it's got a system involved, because I have run RP's with systems, i.e. the tabletop section. It's just getting to the point of being a bit too hand-holdy, and I don't want one player to detract from attention to all the other players.
I might as well straight up say it- when I look at CS's, I look for ideas- ways things can play out, interesting little quirks... and, I dunno, I guess I'm not seeing the pan-out?
Comes down to the personality section of the Digimon too. Beyond all the structural, admittedly nit-picky parts about the CS, about half the forms don't have personalities, and the ones that do, well... okay, nothing wrong with playing a Digimon straight out of the box, like the way they'd be expected. I do it sometimes, but I can't think of the instances- actually, I did so with Craniamon in a Digimon RP a while ago, or would have done so, but that was because I thought having a perfectionist who cherishes his "mission complete ratio" would be fun to play in a ruined Digital World where the premise was the Knights had just been mangled, and I also had him not care for his partner completely in a setting where his use of power would put the human at risk. I also had the human character be a younger child who is inexperienced and living in the shadow of his father, and rightly so at his young age, but he had other features beyond just that.
See what I mean? I sorta don't see the depth. I know I didn't do the best job of giving depth to my own Digimon, but I have a specific plan for her where the character development would apply, hence the constant reference to Ryudamon's personality in the later stages, and I have a little unique thing for each stage.
Also, not sure how serious this is, but I don't think you've ever put a control method in. I feel like it's important, but it might be a nit-pick. And I know this is a nit pick, but leaving the direction sections in a CS when you're done with it, and not following all the directions that were there, especially when they're related to removing the parenthesed section, well, it's a bit of a pet-peeve of mine. Minor, not major.
EDIT: I'm just looking for a little progress towards something that's not expected as far as character behavior goes. If some reason to explain something can be made, I'd be glad to hear it and, if necessary, let it be used.
