> > > nvm, nvm. not adding fuel. > > > > > > > > > > > > > I'm going to have a bigger fleet now due to their fast timeskips. You? > > > Uh... well, my dick is clearly--- nvm, not adding fuel. :D Thanks for being an unmentionable word, mate. > Ah of course, Wilsons constant pandering about the Draconians again. > > Going to be hard to get any drop-pods on the planet when they will just hit a shield. That's funny, because you REQUESTED that I come and join as the Draconians. I made them even more lopsided than before, though their talents clearly lie in taking and holding a planet. And it won't be a droppod- a ship will land on your shields, and the gravity of the planet will just keep pulling it down, down, down. The weight is like constant bombardment- your shield will break, especially if a fleet of them sit on it. --- The Terrans and Iscandarians suddenly jump ahead in fleet power and size, and no one doesn't really care much that no one else is involved. Sorry, but I'm not gonna go with the scenario where Rogue and Duck build up massive fleets that loom over everyone else, unmatched except by each other. I'm not literally going to have thousands of ships like them- several hundred is all I need. From there, i can start production on larger ships to make proper fleets, and I'll be fine. The Terrans and Iscandarians will blow each other up, something the Draconians and Equestrians never quite got to (though the Draconians certainly tried), so that'll be nice too- it'll even out the suddenly massive ship boost! And then everyone else will be more powerful! Unless the return of the Equestrians are as powerful as everyone else to begin with.

"Thanks for being an unmentionable word, mate." I just didn't want to take sides, _Mate_. :D Also, aren't the iscandarians committing self inflicted genocide soon? I think I read that a while back.

You know, nevermind, i think I'll pull out of the roleplay. It's clear that my opinions don't matter much, and I'm alone as to my standing. Sorry everyone. Some reasons for those of you think I'm just ragequitting because I'm not getting my way: 1. The main plot that takes up all the attention centered around only two nations, by the GM and his best buddy, or at least, his closest roleplayer in terms of trust and all that. Like being on the sidelines from the beginning, where people are always saying, "We're all equal on this team." 2. Blatant overpowered items. Shields that have yet to actually be broken (I've yet to hear duck utter the words, "And the shields fell to enemy fire") and massive fleets being assembled in the time it took for another people to gather up some ships and say hello to someone else 3. Lack of real discussion about much of anything. Anyone, and i mean more like me and other absent people like Cale or ASTA, says anything that Duck or KeyGuy haven't supported, then it's a bad-boohoo idea/concept/thought. 4. Lack of anything to do. I'm sitting here, asking if anyone want to contact me and or vice versa, and not really getting much. I'd like to roleplay, but Nouvelle was the only place for them to really be talked to, and with Abroe inactive, that's completely dried up. Keyguy's word on contacting the Valkians fell short- nothing on that account. It's all been focused around the Terran-Iscandarian conflict. The Iscandarians fired at the Septonians before they fired at the Terrans, I believe, and the Septonians just passed under radar, despite them attacking the Iscandies, and nothing. Really? It's no longer fun for me to roleplay in this. Most of this roleplay seems to revolve around shooting each other, most of it started by Duck or evil-type factions, despite the outcry against a nation such as the ever-hated Draconians, which were actually less likely to start a war- they killed many, but they didn't go and start wars, even if part of it was that starting a war with them on your own was next to suicide. Since the Valkians have withdrawn into the background, as have the other evil-factions and Nouvelle, I will go ahead and leave them there due to the stagnant waters.

Huh.. I make a nation sitting right on the crossroads of all the major trade lanes.. for the sole purpose of removing nouvelle from being the primary interaction hub between anyone who wants to use it. It's not like you do not have options.

I've been stuck in a serious writer's block right now, probably due to _all this homework._ I've been trying to work up some inspiration for a while, so I'm not out yet. But if you're leaving, Wilson, I'll have to find a new first contact.

Uh Monkeypants, the Eternal Union/Empire does not sell their military vessels secondhand. They are melted down and destroyed when the military decides to replace them. And even if one was stolen it be hunted down and destroyed, the Iscandarians do not like their technology slipping from them without them knowing.

You know, I'm starting to dislike all this "Well, my planetary shield can take it!" I would just tell Duck to make them NOT INVINCIBLE, but he wouldn't be able to handle such a crushing responsibility as regulating his own damn power. So I'm going to ban them. "But wait!" Duck is totally going to say "I've already USED them! How do we get rid of them?" Well, in response to that question, "Talk to the hammer".

You misread that post, I merely asked Wilson how drop-pods would get past planetary shields when he sais his main strategy for the Dracs was to land forces and then deal with space forces. And the planetary shields arent strong if they are alone and not combined with others. Under any forn of sustained bombardment they only last a few seconds, there pretty much there to give grouns forces some extra time to prepare.

Well. Then the ships were close copies. Seeing as nothing or no one isn't directly under your control exists.. It really makes me not want to involve you in any plot arcs. I left the hau out for now and went with a more moderated nation because doom to anyone who has any chance of realistically winning a war should it become about victory than plot. So. You'll be fine. It was a close enough copy that anyone could easily mistake it. Hell! You should be flattered that high end pirates would pick your nations ships to masquerade as. Seeing as most here recognize your nation being.... Strong...est... So a ship would be intimidating for a foe. But what ever man. What ever.

I am fine with a copy, its just that I am not fine with it being sold second-hand. Also the Equestria app is finished! Name of nation: The Union of Equestria, in informal speech simply referred to as Equestria or the Equestrian Union. Species: The Union of Equestria comprises many species, most of which come from Equiis, the capital and homeworld of Equestria. A few however have joined the Equestria ever since it ascended into space, spreading further the massive cultural influence of Equestria. Most of Equestria’s species also have magic. *Ponies* are the first of the many species that comprise Equestria. One of the most prominent do to their rather large population and there huge influence on Equestria. Ponies eyes, fur, and mane, and tail can be of any color, creating some rather weird displays that seem out of place to most normal species. The ponies consist of five different subtypes, each with different traits and abilities.. The first and most populous of these is the Earth Ponies, with their magical abilities centering around connections to planets and animals, as well as being able to tend crops much better than other subtypes can, as well as having increased strength over the other subtypes. Earth ponies tend to become farmers, labourers, factory workers, and frontline soldiers, however there has been prominent Earth pony philosophers and scientists in the past. The next pony subtype are the Pegasi, the posses wings on their body and are capable of flight, and can also manipulate the weather and a few can fly so fast as to go into faster then sound speeds, although pegasi with that level of speed are rarely born. They tend to be soldiers, and the more unique job of weather control specialists. The next type are the Unicorns, with of course a horn-like protrusion coming off of their head, they are one of the two subtypes capable of tapping directly into magic. Unicorns tend to be the scientists, doctors, philosophers, and other high leveled management positions that require a lot of skill. The next to last of the subtypes are the bat ponies, which are pretty much the same as the pegasi except they have fangs and bat-like wings. They exclusively make up the Lunar Guard. The final subtype are the alicorns, who are a combination of all the subtypes with a exception of the bat ponies. They have greatly increased magical power, and are biologically immortal. Alicorns are chosen to become one by their deeds and service to Equestria, there is currently four, and they are referred to as Princes or Princesses. The next of the species that make up Equestria vast and varied population are the *Griffons*. Along with ponies they seem to make up most of Equestria do to their prominence. Griffons look much like they do in the tales of Earth’s past, however they have a few extra colorings. There wings do not allow for as fast or as long flight as the Pegasi, but it is a advantage none the less. There magical abilities are centered around increased strength and agility. They are very much a warrior race, and have produced some of the best strategists of Equestria. A lot of the military is comprised of Griffons due to their nature, as well as the High Command of the military, leading many to believe that they hold absolute control over Equestria’s miliary, although with the ultimate authority of the Alicorns this is not the case. *Dragons* are the third species of Equestria, with the smallest being the size of small sheds(although rarely herald Dragons as they are known are born and they are smaller than ponies)and the largest reaching the size of a small mountain, although dragons that large rarely do arise and even then due to their size spend most of their time sleeping and dreaming. Magical abilities of Dragons center around their unique magical fire, and long uninterrupted flight, although they can not fly that fast. The fourth species are the *Zebras*, a rather secretive and hidden race. They tend to not involve themselves in the larger political machine of Equestria, keeping to their own communities and devices. Zebra’s do however make extremely good potion brewers, being able to easily and effectively memorize ingredients and potion combinations. For that reason a majority of Zebras that live outside of the communities they built work in magical research labs, developing new and effective potions everyday. The fifth species in the Equestrian Union and the last of which originated from Equiis are the *Buffalo*. Buffalo are rather strong, stronger than even Earth Ponies, and this is really their only talent. Buffalo are not particularly intelligent, and thus make up a majority the working class labourers and factory workers. They do not often participate in politics, and thus have very little influence over Equestria’s political future. They are often the most forgotten of all the species of Equestria. The sixth species of Equestria are the *Saraphram*, a rather peaceful and happy humanoid species. They have a sort of whitish blue skin, with most of them having long light green flowing hair. They were granted magic when they joined the Equestrian Union, and while they are able to tap into it directly it is noted that they are much better with nature and healing spells over others. However despite the peacefulness of the culture and Equestrians they joined Equestria via war rather than peaceful cultural assimilation as the Equestrians would have prefered. They were previously enslaved by the much more violent and aggressive Tygochan, and since Equestrian culture depicts slavery as a brutal and violent act that they say cries out to Faust for vengeance they initiated a war to free the Saraphram. With the Royal Family murdered the Saraphram gladly joined their liberators, happily living in peace after being enslaved for so long. The seventh and final species of Equestria are the *Tygochan*. The Tygochan are a mammalian race, although lach hair on most of their bodies. Their skin is very rough, and is usually dark colors. They are very strong, and violent. They as mentioned had war declared on them for their enslavement of the Saraphram and their rather violent nature. They were not granted magic, as they have not been considered trustworthy enough for it due to their past actions of slavery and their government, which has been in history books depicted as evil and tyrannical. Tygochan Nationalists have recently become a problem for the Equestrian Government, often causing riots and fights with the police. However before Equestria can land boots on the ground and stop them Tygochan loyalists have come in and fought with them, leaving the military to arrive at a rather bloody scene. Due to the free speech policies of Equestria Nationalists keep on vilifying the Equestrian government, and have used the Tygochan’s lack of magic despite being in the Union of Equestria to get many Loyalists to become Nationalists. Description of government: Equestria’s government starts with the Alicorns, the Princes and Princesses of the nation. They hold supreme authority over Equestria, and can make laws as well as decide the course and future of the Union of Equestria. The Alicorns are often depicted as religious figures, do to the association that their extreme magical ability is actually Faust granting them a tiny portion of her power. To help rule and govern the large nation that Equestria has become, the next level of Government is the High Council, consisting of a representative from every species that compromises Equestria. This surprisely does include a member of the Tygochan, despite Equestria’s current opinion of them. They help decide on laws, as well as help newly colonized worlds setup governmental structures. The next level is the Low Council, which is democratically elected and divided by population with 1000 representatives on it. While they do not do much, they are responsible for setting up court systems, and helping decide on laws to a limited extent. They are also responsible for making sure local planetary governments play nice with each other. The last level of Equestrian Government is of course, the local planetary governments and bureaucrats. They manage the planets and decide local laws, with the bureaucrats managed government agencies. Description of military: The Equestrian military believes that a good offense is a good defense, and as such as units to reflect. Equestrians are particularly at good shielding their units, as well as bombarding the enemy from a distance. When the Equestrians decide to go on the offensive they usually bombard the target from long range, proceed to move in with fast-attack bombers and gunships, and then finish off with infantry and heavy vehicles to secure the area. Their Navy is rather advanced, going in with heavy shielding and heavy hitting weapons, as well as specialized shield ships which can either form barriers or add a extra layer of shielding for the ship. The military is divided into Their infantry have a wide array of weapons from balefire to kinetic or explosive weapons, as well as a wide variety of armor and other battefield equipment to enter the battefield, and do to their advanced robotics they posses a wide variety of robots for use on the battlefield, these are commanded by A.Is who recieve orders from the Equestrian Generals. Mages are also often seen on the battlefield. Due to the wide variance in equipment between units various units and ships, there is really no units of note beyond the imposing Equestrian Dreadnoughts, or the massive *Wrath of Faust*, a massive warship that dwarfs built purely for a pissing contest between them and the Rashine. The Thunderheads are also of note, these massive walkers are moving command centers, capable of carrying and supplying entire armies, and they also have nanobot swarms to harvest materials to produce more robotic units on the field. They can teleport units around them or using teleport towers teleport them from far away distances. Technological Overview: The Equestrians have evolved into a rather advanced nation due to their policies, in both the fields of magic and actual solid science. One of their particullary fields they like to preach about is magitech, which is a combination of magic and technology wherein magic is used to amplify technology. This has lead to some pretty interesting combinations of magic and technology. The Equestrian Military is divided into the Equestrian Royal Army, the Equestrian Special Forces Core, the Robotic Forces, and the Equestrian Royal Navy. One field of note to the Equestrians is adaption devices do to the fact that a majority of Equestria consists of four legged creatures that have no hands. Amongst many of these is a simple mechanism that attaches to the hoof and hooks into the nervous system, acting as a sort of hand. Amongst another development that was originally intended for adaptability is the Spell Matrixes, a hexagon shaped device in which spells can be embedded on and has a limited pool of mana to use these spells. While this was a excellent development it attracted interest as a trade commodity as even those without any natural magic could use them, and saw them applications in military purposes. More fields of importance to Equestrian Research were m fields of robotics, nano-robotics and cybernetics. Equestrian robotics are quite advanced, with some truly advanced designs. This has also led into the development of highly advanced, and learning A.I on part of Equestria. These A.Is, along with be using to help in research applications, aboard ships, or to control Equestria’s robotic forces, they are also used to manage massive nanobot swarms. Equestria has develop nanobots, using them in a wide variety of applications including augmenting the nervous system, but one of the most famous is their use to convert entire worlds into so called Factory Planets. These planets are usually extremely barren worlds that would be to costly to terraform properly, so instead nanobot swarms are unleashed on the planet, and using it’s own resources convert the entire planet into one massive factory for Equestria. Equestria has a rather large production output because of this, and with the passing of time it grows larger. Along with these fields the Equestrians have come to developed a great amount of cybernetics, which were originally intended for research or civilian applications but military cybernetics were developed under Project Steelpony. The Equestrians are extremely efficient and effective in implanting cybernetics, and can use nanobots to augment parts of the body that would not normally be able to be augmented without total replacement of the system. While genetic augmentation has been researched, it is very basic and has not been explored lately, although there is some renewed interest in the field. While Equestria has multiple magical substances that they use, the two of most note are the Taint, and Balefire. Balefire is often described as necromantic dragonfire, although it is not made using necromancy due to how illegal that particular branch of magic is, its is a highly destructive substance used for military applications. One of the many important things about Balefire is that it is equal in power to most plasma weapons, and thus has eliminated the need for the Equestria to develop plasma weapons. The other substance, Taint, is described as a highly destructive substance that has both mutagenic, weapon, and power generation applications. Taint is made by using chaos magic and concentrating enough into one area to produce the substance. Taint is still rare as it takes a lot to make the substance, but it still has been used for a lot. In particular power generators are being tested based off the use of Taint as a fuel, and a cannon capable of wiping out a planetoid in one shot is powered by taint, this cannon however is not often used due to the cost of Taint. A recent development for the field of genetic manipulation in regards to Taint was the Impelled Metamorphosis Potion, or I.M.P, however this potion being based off Taint has highly uncontrolled properties and thus genetic research with it has been slowed. The Equestrian’s weapon, armor, and shields technology is actually rather developed for being a peaceful nation, for two reasons. The War with the Tygochan accelerated weapons development, as well as Cold-War of sorts between them and the Rashine Star Empire, another power in their area. The Equestrians have developed antimatter weapons, including shells which can be used on rail-guns, as well as high powered lasers and other high-powered rail-guns, although Balefire is still their main line choice for energy weapons due to its power being equal to plasma. They have also developed special high powered balefire megaspells for use as WMDs of sorts. Megaspells being spells amplified to have area-wide or sometimes even planetary wide effects. By far the most powerful weapon they have developed is what they refer to as the Atomic Bond Shredder, a weapon the starts a chain reaction that quickly severs the bonds between atoms. While the reaction goes out rather quickly, it is quite destructive. Their shields are well above average, although their armor tech is only around average. Their space based stealth tech is rather poor though, with a exclusive few ships being able to actually go invisible, this does not however apply to their ground troops who are fully capable of sustained invisbility. They have also developed all of the essentials for safe and comfortable space travel, as well as a near-instantaneous FTL system using magical universes to traverse space. However gates that are instant are setup between quadrants as inter-quadrant journeys can take weeks. Limited-range teleportation has been developed for ground forces, and requires special towers to travel with armies for units to be able to teleport into position from longer ranges. Cultural Overview: The Equestrian’s culture is a rather peaceful and happy one, with the one central idea being harmony. Harmony is as defined by Equestria culture a state of no conflict, no problems, permanent and mutual peace, and mutual and beneficial cooperation, thus making Harmony the Equestrian’s idea of Utopia. The Equestrians also believe heavily in liberty, as well as the Greater Good, believing that all must work together to achieve Harmony. The religion of the Equestrians also amplifies the above. Called the Church of Faust, or Faustism, they believe in the Goddess Faust. The Church of Faust encourages the ideals above, as well as encouraging forward and steady progress in both science and magic. The Church dominates the entirety of the Union of Equestria, with over 90% of the population apart of the religion. Another part of the Equestrian’s culture to note is the Equestrian’s passion for the arts, despite only having hoofs they have developed a great many artworks and styles. The Equestrian’s have also written wonderful stories and poems, both of sad and happy times. Where the Equestrians particularly excel with the arts however is in music. The Equestrians have composed a great many songs and operas, all of which have some inner meaning. Most Equestrians have great singing voices, working together to create beautiful melodies and lyrics. While most are unsure of where these singing voices come from, old Equestrian mythos actually depicts this as a form of spell-casting. The Equestrian’s economy is ran on a socialist-like ideology, as they believe in said ideology. People are paid depending on the skill, precision, and labour needed to complete any one particular job. The Equestrians also ditched traditional currency shortly after the Union of Equestria was formed, instead favoring a work points system. Welfare is also provided for the unemployed and poor, however it only accounts for the essentials and not any luxuries. History: The history of the Union of Equestria can be traced back to the early days of the Magitech revolution, which sparked new ideas and a technological revolution across Equiis, the homeworld of the ponies and the various other quadpeds that many refer to as the original Equestrians, one of the many ideas was a idea of Union under the Princesses of the Principality of Equestria as most of Equiis followed the Church of Faust and thus shared the opinion that Faust had shared a small part of her power with them. However this idea did not prevail and was left alone for the most part till towards the end of this time period. A event however known as the 2nd Changeling War began. The Changelings were a vile disgusting race that literally fed off the emotion of love, and they were capable of morphing into anybody they could see, however they could only hold this for a limited time. They attempted the assassinations of the heads of every government on Equiis in a attempt to take over the entire planet, this failed however, with only the head of the Zebrican Empire being assassinated. A coalition was quickly formed to stop the incoming invasion, as the Equestrians quickly attempted to push them back to their homeland and stop the Changelings. There was a lot of blood spilled and a lot of betrayal, but in the end the Equestrians won, pushing the Changelings into their homeland. A barrier was formed around their homeland and contact has not been attempted since. The Equestrians, in a want to avoid such horrible war again and strengthen Equiis and the Equestrian peoples formed the Unification Pact, taking the idea of Union under the Alicorns earlier and making it a reality. Under this the Equestrians became stronger and much more powerful, leading to space and extreme technological development. The Union of Equestria as they named themselves now saw the potential to spread across the stars and spread the Church of Faust, as they developed robots, cybernetics, and A.Is. The Equestrians happened upon the Tygochan shortly after ascending into space, however saw their slavery of the Saraphram and immediately condemned them and their government. They rapidly developed new weapons and went to war to liberate the Saraphram. The Saraphram were quickly relieved and decided to join their liberators, due to the friendliness and the need of Equestria to help the less fortunate. A occupation of the Tygochan worlds was enforced and then lifted as the Equestrians discovered how to gift magic to the Saraphram and did so. As mentioned earlier there is on-going problems with the Tygochan. Perhaps the most important part of the Equestrians history however is the political situation within their local quadrant. Currently they have labeled four quadrants, the Alpha quadrant which is where they live, the beta quadrant in which they have a few colonies, the relatively unexplored gamma quadrant, and the never explored Delta Quadrant. The Equestrians have come into conflict with a force known as the Rashine Star Empire, the Rashine being a very human like race who all have black hair. The Equestrians supported the Saratine, who are also human like and have entirely black hair, however they do not show emotion and only support logical action in several border troubles with the Rashine. This has lead to a cold war as the two seek to dominate the Alpha and Beta quadrants. Also included in the mess are the Delphans, who are blue human likes and their nation is referred to as the Delphan Meritocracy. They are allied with the Rashine but a growing Church of Faust religion there has lead to troubles as they seek to avoid war with the Equestrians. There is also the Delgan Empire, human likes who have odd cranial ridges and are also a warrior race. While not allied with anybody they also have border conflicts with the Rashine and lost a few worlds in war with the Rashine. The situation continues to boil as the Equestrians spread the Church of Faust and the Rashine clamp a iron fist on their holdings. Likely a Cold War will soon go hot… Other: Ponies
