The first is what the birthmark looks like. The second is the limitations of her magic. Can she just create these connections at will? If so, that's a touch OP, especially since there's no prerequisite such as physical contact or something similar.

Got it! I changed it up a bit. When I say hearts, I mean more of the symbol heart, like Kingdom Hearts, regarding the person's soul and who they are. Their "heart". I took out the part where she can manipulate people's emotions, sense that is a bit OP i agree. She can still connect with their heart, but its not OP like u think it is. All her magic allows her to do is communicate telepathically(not read minds) with people and animals, feel the emotions(not control emotions) of people, but she can feel and control the emotions and actions of animals, ecological empathy, plant empathy, and plant manipulation. Don't worry, it wont be OP.
