Well. Essentially all's you can do is make a fairly long and in depth post of discovering about the Dovahfeyn, travelling to the throat of the world and discovering they've already left and then meeting up with them at their current position.

SAJHDFGDKJHGBSDG *Ahem* Yeah, no that's an awesome character. I'm not a Hobbit fangirl or anything... I was actually wondering if anyone would be making a character based off of a Tolkin one - I'm assuming Thorin has a hatred for Elves too? :) Can't wait to see him in action... if only we had a dragon named Smaug.

I'd have preference for you to read your way through the IC to be honest Black, it may be a bit tedious but it's the best way for you not to miss out on an important detail. But we're yet to fight our first dragon.

Love the stuff, especially the appendices which add alot of flavour to the universe. Although wondering how you'd integrate "Praises be praised" into something that doesn't sound too archaic. Prof. Tolkien just likes that stuff.

Well, both worlds appear to be set in the same sort of time - not much in the way of technology, (barring the dwemer stuff, catapults, etc) so lots of the language can be used. First person to say a gandalf quote gets a virtual high five off me.

To be fair, the fantasy genre was single-handedly kickstarted by the Lord of the Rings. Like for example, elves before the Lord of the Rings were the fair folk sort; strange beings who live in forests and the like. That was what the Elves were like in the Hobbit. As for the popular Tolkien-style elves.... I can actually go into a rant about that.
