This is all... very fascinating, but I don't think it will really affect the RP much which war it is that's taking place in the actual story, right? :( Anyway, I would like to keep this thread to solely seek out interested parties, not become a full-length discussion of the lore (unless it affects the RP), if you don't mind.

@Silver That is rather clearly not the case. F/SF takes place in an alternate reality (it's canon, but only within the context of the multiverse) where the Grail was copied/stolen during the Third War. The absence of mention in every other F/SN game of this happening is in its self damning for the claim that its occurring in the same reality as the F/SN grail history, as that's a rather significant event. Besides, there is a precedent for it to be an alternate reality from the F/SN games, which are in themselves splintered. The 'what if' scenario, F/SF has no reason to be the exception from it. I'm interested.

Sorry dude, the five Fuyuki Grail Wars are the only 'canon' ones. All the others are part of alternate universes with differing points of divergence and have very different mechanics. Main canon also says that there can't be any more Fuyuki Grail Wars after the Fifth, but I assume JohnWolff has an explanation for that (and even if not it's not difficult to work around). Also, looked over the details; definitely interested and willing to offer advice and practical knowledge if I do join, just need to check my schedule and have a rummage through my notes for stuff. Got a few Servant ideas already, though.

Ah, I'm so embarrassed. I don't, actually. Sorry, but this is one of the first few RPs I've actually GMed (none of the past ones have ever been completed, so I'm really hoping this would be the first). Oh, riiiiight, I remember. The Holy Grail was destroyed in the F/SN VN upon the fifth war. But yeah, it's like Fish of Oblivion said, that can easily be worked around and rectified, especially with the Incubators involved (alien Holy Grail, for example).

That sounds like a better idea than what I had in mind. Let's go with that then. It will open up more spots for people to join anyway. Each of you will play one Master and/or Servant, totalling up to a maximum of 12 roleplayers of 6 Masters and 6 Servants (minus the one Master and one Servant I'll be playing). Also, on a related note, I'd like to ask that you provide more than a few sentences of posts in the IC, since I've had bad experiences with that in the past. Thanks.

Considering that all AkumaHomura ever did was (presumably) turn all magical girls into normal humans, I don't think that's a concern... not to mention the fact that the Kyubey in this story will take certain 'actions' of his own to manipulate the magical girls to become literal slaves to the Holy Grail War, as they are forced to fight for some makeshift wish-machine their species pull out of their ass for all eternity, even if they die and return to their spirit forms. You know how Saber retained her memories throughout the HGWs she appeared in? It's something like that, except that Kyubey has ensured that there will be no salvation for any of them, even if they do obtain the Grail. But that's a secret for now. And then there's also the question of whether if the magi of the Fate universe would be affected by Kyubey's manipulations, which brings us to your next question...

Nope. They are a separate kind of magical-wielders, existing in a separate reality (the Nasuverse reality) that doesn't incorporate the logic and physics of the Madoka reality. Hence they have nothing to do with magical girls, aside for the fact that they are also being manipulated by the actions of both Kyubey and Kotomine. But there's one major difference between the way Kyubey is manipulating the magical girls and the way it is working with Kotomine to manipulate the magi - the magical girls are now under Kyubey's control, the magi are not. Kyubey can will them into non-existence should it choose to. The details of that is a lot more complex and speculative, so let's leave it at that for now. lol

Also, figure I should put a claim on Saber before I'm beaten to it, considering how short on ideas I am at the moment.
