Somehow, i've got a little feeling that Duck will ruin your image of cupcakes. Dunno why. I just--ugh. Equestrian vibes, I guess?
Blah, don't give the guy ideas. The bronian nation already exists in the other stardust. Don't let it flood here as well!
Why do I get the feeling this is a bit of a insult directed at me?

I'd go with the interesting story one, unfortunately. My usual rule is go with the one that's easiest to write, but is still interesting.

I'm the one you should worry about bringing up some sort of reference to that particular fanfiction. Luckily I don't plan to.

Whee, another fit of conflicting ideas! I don't know what's better: an empire controlled by an extradimensional entity(favors strength and power, i have made so much progress on its sheet), or a frail, 2020-tech civilization with a dying homeworld that is searching for a new place to live (favors story depth).
Frail, 2020-tech civilizations are always fun. Especially once they find ancient ruins or something. I had a late 90's civilization at one point, but it ran across some ancient ruins and ended up destroying a star system.

“Dash, you gotta stay still or I’ll keep missing,” scolded Pinkie as her friend howled. My favorite line.

Anyway, so let's say that at this point the Aeon Brood has progressed to 5% of the distance from their entry point to the galactic core (about 5000 lightyears), and that they have consumed 8e-10 of the entire galaxy (about 700 stars). There's really no sense in me continually updating with, "Yes, the Brood is still eating things," so let's say that it's a constant progress, regardless of if I'm posting or not. Let's also note that this is an exponential process. For every system that is devoured, enough mana is harvested to birth a Brood large enough to devour three other systems. The longer they are ignored, the harder they will be to stop.

Alcubierre is primitive, right? Or is it the most used type of FTL?

I don't think anyone really has a specific type of warp drive. And the system you mentioned isn't really primitive. Just another attempt to get around Einstein.

Most use hyperspace but then some of the others, like me, utilize a variety of methods.

Why are you telling us this? Most of us can't do anything to the creatures that eat our weapons and shields.

Can't we just pewpew them with energy shyt? Also you can pretty much fire your anti-matter missile stuff at the Titans, even if they're just directional, the Titans are too large and unsmart to dodge the stuff. Also, Radine, how does the Fairy Path feel about this? I mean wasn't it big enough to stretch across most the whole galaxy? Wouldn't it be possible that parts of the Fairy Path that once stretched through the Dead Zone got eaten by the Brood?

It's barely used at all in Andromeda, and it only shows up with the Terrans in the MWG. I know for a fact that the Iscandarians consider it outdated (With their magical warp dimension thing), but the Terrans usually keep it for hundreds of years. The Abh in this RP experimented with it, but never managed to figure out how to bring the required negative mass below Jupiter-size. As you hopefully know, we already did that. The only problem was the production of large amount of negative energy (which was solved by the scientists being given MYSTERIOUS blueprints for a generator). The Abh get their negative energy for their antigrav from ancient ruins. The most used FTL, as was mentioned, is hyperspace.

Hyperspace is also what the Path uses to grab people and shove it in one of its own dimensions, or into another random point in space. Herm. Would it be plausible for me to have a transport disappear now on the outskirts of Draconian space, and have it randomly reappear later when that sector is abandoned and someone else is there? Maybe some people who pushed the Dracs back or something?

I shall use it to put a main character in danger and make them flee from the ship by escape pod and miraculously land on the nearby planet/moon and be picked up by a Draconian stealth patrol so that there can be more Draconian main characters who have someone to talk to >:DDD That's my evil plan
