Here's my character app, if I may join! Appearance: Name: Dante Nicknames/Titles: Knight Gender: Male Age: 17 Skills: He has a triple spin, calling it Cyclone. He also has a jumping arc attack, slamming his sword on opponents. Equipment: A long, sharp broadsword. He carries it upon his waist. He tends to carry some rations and his clothing is always travel-ready. Personality: He tends to be outgoing and friendly most of the time, however, if somebody snaps at him for a mistake he makes, he will become shyer and angered. He will keep quiet at these time and always try to do everything right. He hates chaos, but also hates waiting and needing a 'plan', as he states it. He enjoys action, but knows when he needs to back up and keep living. Biography: Dante was born in Hoskaros as a child, during a time of strife. He grew up learning to fight and fend for himself, learning combat skills and how to handle a blade. He had minimal gun training, but never has had a real opportunity to practice and use guns. He moved to New Torrea at the age of 15, and has a house there, and makes a decent li ving as a blacksmith/weapon trainer. He isn't the most well known, but some people know his name. Others:

Hope its ok if i add one more gunman to the fray! Name: Avon L. Ruhame Nicknames/Titles: N/A Gender: Male Age: 20 Skills: Somewhat decent marksmanship, Climbing, Reading, repairing, and bargaining. Equipment: Twenty One Round Revolver with a bag of extra rounds. As well as a back-pack that contains his coin, some miscellaneous personals, and survival/climbing tools. Personality: Avon isn't an aggressive boy. If it wasn't due to his previous circumstances he wouldn't even carry a weapon on him at all. However, he he isn't a pacifist either. He doesn't take much too seriously and is just trying to enjoy himself and get by in life. Dreams and ambitions of wealth and power elude him for the most part, he just wants to travel and get to know people. He tries to be personable, and does his best to not make many enemies. Even when he gets pissed off, he often lacks some of the fortitude necessary to act upon his anger. This is both a flaw and a blessing to him. It allows him to think a little more before acting out, but also sometimes prohibits action when necessary. Biography: Born and raised in New Torrea, Avon lifed the life of the middle-class citizen, if such a word can be used in this situation. He and his parents worked as specialty gun-smiths, and were decent at it. They specialized in hand-guns, and were the go-to people when it came to customized weaponry. They could make almost any kind of hand-gun you want, so long as you had the money and the patience for it. However, not much of that matters now. Avon's father was 'persuaded' to help with the expansion. His skills as a gun-smith were needed to keep an edge over the country's newer inhabitants, to help keep them co-operative. However, life at home didn't change all that much. Avon's mother had some skills when it came to smithing as well, even if she wasn't as good as his father. She kept them afloat. A few years went by like that, the two of them working the shops, but as he grew Avon knew this wasn't the kind of job he wanted. Now, he respect his father and mother's work, but after sending letters too and from his dad, he knew he had wanted to explore the world. His mother had no objections, she was actually rather happy. Moving about like that would make it a little harder for the gov't to draft him, not that they would actually try that hard. Plus, it was a mother's job to support her child! However, before he could leave his home and begin to explore, he received two gifts from his dad. The first was a handgun, built to some designs Avon drew up as a child, and the second was a pendant. There was a letter as well, but that was more customary then gifty. However, what wasn't customary was the contents. His father told him about the minister, and what was going on with their country. They didn't hear much about it from their neighbors or friends, being within one of the more patriotic areas. They would hear about how the minister was 'doing god's work' and other things like that. But Avon's father told him what he knew, and what he expected. Now, Avon wasn't always a driven kid, but after hearing what his father was concerned with he couldn't help be interested. So, with his new 'best friend' in hand and both a drive to help and explore, Avon would set off! Others: N/A

A little? We got only two women and five men, seven if you take into account my own character and Tyrant's (Which, btw, is accepted). Anyhow, I'm pretty sure Harurun will help tip this balance off after she decides on her character, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. :P

*reads characters* Amazing swordsman, amazing mage, amazing shooter...well, I know who I'm gonna make now. Appearance: Cassie is always dressed rather properly, and has a thick leather harness that she uses to lug her Howler Cannon around with. Name: Cassie Strom Nicknames/Titles: The Bombshell Gender: Female Age: 28 Skills: Bombadier - Cassie is one of the best sappers you could find. Admittedly when your weapon blows up large square footage anywhere near where it lands, that doesn't count for much, but she is admittedly excellent at making her shots land where they're needed. Explosives - Cass can easily combine various materials to create make-shift bombs, or disarm other explosives rapidly. Collateral damage - Her cannon is small as far as cannons go, but it's still a cannon. Demolition - There's very little this girl can't blow up. Architecture - When you spend your life blowing buildings up, you learn a thing or two about architecture in general. Equipment: - Single Shot Howler Cannon *meant to be used by a single person, the Howler is a simple muzzle loaded cannon that can be braced against the hip to fire either directly forward or arced for greater range and to clear fortifications. She can only get one shot off before she needs to reload, but if she's got the space, she can make about 3 shots per minute. Can be used medium to long range, but is useless up close. Ammo consists of a heavy slugs or grapeshot, situation depending* - Howler Support Gear *stands for keeping the cannon upright, and a basic maintenance/cleaning kit* - Rope *always handy, but often used to help strap the cannon to herself* - Black Powder satchels *mostly used for the Howler, can be used as makeshift bombs* - Grenades *essentially ready made molotov cocktails used to keep enemies from reaching her* - Dagger *more utility than combat oriented* - Three shot pistol *last resort if someone with a blade manages to reach her in a battle* - Flint *often used to ignite the black powder when in a pinch* - Monocle *it's generally assumed she wears it to look more refined* Personality: Cassie is a pyromaniac with a deep love of blowing things up. Despite her very formal looking appearance and love of lavish fineries, this girl is one bullet short of a full clip at all times. Not insane, but renowned as unstable, Cassie is driven and passionate. Loud, boisterous, and fiery, especially around explosions or fire. She loves the smell of gunpowder and is infatuated with guns, the bigger the better. Despite this 'explosive' attitude, she is fiercely loyal to King Allamon, and takes great pains to help others who need it. Biography: An immigrant from Milokis, Cassie came to New Torrea with her father and sister. Though most of her life was spent in relatively poor conditions, she eventually joined the army, aspiring to be a great knight. However, her melee skills were beyond lacking, earning her a position at the bottom of her squad in terms of skill. She was transferred to a gunners platoon, and while she fared better, she was still one of the worst around. A sharp eyed captain noticed however that her understanding of the chemicals within the guns was beyond compare. She was again transferred to the sappers, and her purpose became clear. She showed an immediate affinity for the huge guns, and became an asset to her team. The Howler cannon became her life, and she fits it perfectly. She sends most of her pay to her father, to help raise and educate her sister so that she may have a better life than either of them, away from the military. However, when Allamon became bed ridden, Cassie was put in a tense situation. If she left the military, her sister's education would need to stop, and she would be forced to get a job just to make ends meet. The family would probably never leave their current standing, and struggle their entire lives. However, she disagrees completely with the Minister's vision, believing that to expand would simply cause the empire to collapse in on itself as their former allies turn on them in defense. She has yet to make a choice about how she should proceed yet. Others: She is absolutely useless in any fight that doesn't involve her bombarding from a distance. Those who manage to break through her onslaught and grenades are often met with the woman simply picking up the cannon and fleeing, taking potshots with her pistol as she does so. She is still a pretty awful shot with her pistol. Often times, to avoid melee, she'll simply ignite everything around her, taking her chances with the flames instead of a sword to the stomach. My goal was to make someone that wasn't some amazing precision fighter, but rather a spray and pray type of support character. If this doesn't fit, let me know, and I will happily alter it to something less...bombastic. If I'm accepted, I expect Cass to rely heavily on sword fighters to keep her safe often.
