The dawn of a new day, and the streets of New Torrea were already bustling. Everyone was trying to either get to their jobs by pushing aside anyone who stood in their way, or trying to sell trinkets and ends by the street. Of course, that was the situation of the parts where money wasn't as abundant. Near the castle, and all the houses surrounding it, peace reigned. All of them were looking down on every other district of the city, almost laughing at them, saying 'You poor souls'. Of course, many felt like that, but many of them thought that what Donat was doing was righteous, that everyone would become richer than ever before with the expansion... Poor, poor souls, living in deception.
All around the city, several posters were hanging on the walls, just BEGGING for some attention.
'Recruiting! Anyone interested in a job involving action, adventure, and many other things, feel free to come to the gate of the capital before tomorrow's afternoon! We will be waiting for you!
Signed, Hazael of the Triumvirate.'
Though it was among many others, this paper in particular was quite flashy and eyecatching. Why? Well, firstly, because fo its color. Bright red, the kind you just can't forget once you see. Then, there was the illustration that came along with the text. A spider, a really big and dangerous looking one, a monster, most likely. And lastly, the one who posted this. Hazael, the well known Knight Lieutenant Commander. A single question came to mind, though, why would someone like her actually ask help of complete strangers, rather than the same military she was a part of? Definitely odd and off-putting for many, while others may just take the job without much thought. At the same time, a man passed by, with a cigarrette in his mouth.
"Uwah, she really did it. What is that girl hoping to accomplish, gosh?" The blonde sighed with exhasperation and brought his hand to his face. He seemed really irritated. "Doesn't she trust us at all? We also got out pride as knight, you know. We barely need anyone else, besides, we are also going back to visit Uriah and Isabel after such a long time... I just hope her instinct is spot on, or I myself would thrash her around." Astarte, the youngest of the Triumvirate says, while slamming his fist on his open palm, before visibly losing his confidence. "Yeah, right, as if that were possible." He sighed again, took the cigarrette off his mouth, tapped on it to make the ashes fall off and put it back into his mouth. "Well, whatever suits her highness right, I guess." To be noted, Astarte was at that rebellious age.
Still, what Astarte, and maybe several others too, didn't notice, are the small letters. The kind that you never read, because it is too much of a pain or otherwise, however, anyone who'd spare some of their time to read them, they'd find out that it is, in fact, lots of rubbish. Letters just put together at random. However, is that really so? In there, a message is hidden, between the waterfall of trash letters. Anyone with the issue at hand still floating over their head, would easily spot it.
'Donat betrayed the kingdom'
A heavy accusation, one for which they'll probably have Hazael's head for, if they are ever able to make out the hidden message, though it is not that well hidden.
