"How was school today girls?" It was such an innocent question, and yet it hut Jasmine so much. Being reminded of the curse that afflicted his body was painful, no matter how long it had been since her transformation. "Eh, it was school. What can I say?" was her reply. "I'm just glad it's over" that was a lie; right now, school was the only place where she could pretend that she was still male, that she hadn't been changed. Rather ironic since she used to really hate school "what about you?" she asked back, hoping to move the conversation to somewhere less depressing for her

At both Jasmine and Jessica's question about how her school day went, Sam heaved a deep sigh and turned another page of her book. "I thought I told you two I don't go to school anymore," she muttered. "Frankly, I'm surprised you two even bother still attending. We're magical girls, we're supposed to protect people from the Errors. We don't have time for mathematics or science." Her tone may have come off as a little sterner than she had meant it to, but she just couldn't see the point of them trying to live normal lives when... well, they weren't normal anymore. "I spent my day working more on using my staff for combat," Sam continued. "I also tried again to see if I could do magic yet, like you guys could." For the first time in this conversation, Sam's normally flat expression was replaced with a slight grimace. "But no luck." She sighed again and turned another page. It irritated her to no end that she was a Greenhorn, while her two other teammates were a Magical Girl and a Veteran, that they had powers and could use magic - real magic - and she was stuck to only using her staff to whack the enemy over the head now and then. She hoped this would change soon. She wanted to see what kind of powers she had. She hoped they were like Jessica's powers, which allowed her to manipulate plants. Elemental powers were really cool. Of course, Jasmine's powers were cool too. Not just cool, but unique, how she had a different power based on a different item. Considering a magical girl's powers only got stronger as they advanced in level, Sam was curious to see how Jasmine's powers would develop. Still, Sam would liked to have had some kind of elemental power. Something strong, something powerful. And she hoped it would surface soon: as the days went on and she still couldn't use magic, she started to get more and more frustrated with herself.

A little bit perplexed by the other Japanese girl's appearance Makoto swirled her pistol around her finger and slipped it back into its holster hidden under her skirt. Quickly she also let down the rest of her guard and transformed back, back to her casual clothing. She raised both eyebrows at the Japanese girl's... let's say, unusual casual attire, but didn't say anything and just followed her. Quietly Makoto sat down where she got told to sit and stared at all of the assembled girls with her usual frown on her face. Oftentimes she had tried to get rid of this frown because it made her delinquent personality obvious to the eye, but she never really managed to do so. "I got sent here to, sort of, train my skills... I'm a very big rookie and my powers are merely a few weeks old", she explained before adding, "My name is Makoto Takai, by the way, head of the Takai-clan" A few seconds later, she just had to add: "You're way too trusting, aren't you?"

Annie - Error Wrecking Crew Above Municipal XIII Annie thought about the request for a moment and then shrugged her shoulders. "Sure, that's what we are here for, right?" She smiled. "Shall we go to the roof?" Leading the way out the apartment and up the access stairs, the girls find themselves in the open air above Rome on an under utilized rooftop. The late afternoon sun had burnt up the forgotten plants that had been abandoned shortly after they had blomed in spring. Annie set up one of them at the far corner of the rooftop and then instructed, "You protect it while I try to shoot it. Simple enough, yeah?"

Seren looked around the area and nodded. That seemed easy enough . . . "Okay, let's begin," she said, readying her mind to summon her shields. In a flash, her outfit switched from her civilian clothing to her MG one, and she took up a defensive position in front of the plants.

Annie - Error Wrecking Crew Roof of Apartments in Municipal XIII The Hunter card slipped into Annie's hand. It was familiar, there, and she could feel the power like a familiar blanket ready to be put on. The card's image was a woman with a bow and a wolf, side by side, poised to attack. The card glows and Annie's eyes do the same, then there is a rush of magic and light that transforms her, giving her the calm and look of The Hunter. There is a bow in her hand and she draws it back with an arrow. "Ready yourself," Annie calls, her voice more certain and precise than before. The bow levels and she aims at the pot. Then, she lets loose her bolt which will fly true to the target unless interrupted by Seren.

"Interesting choice there, Cali. Personally, I wouldn't have gone for the one who is most likely going to cause a fractured skull if she doesn't agree with the kiss. Which also would remind her of her Chinese cartoons, I bet. Oh and just think of all the boys who have a crush on you, they would be devastated to find out that you're swinging that way." Adalina, who was halfway through the cake by now already, took this moment to connect a dramatic pause with a delicious mouthful of coffee. "Not everyone can be as energetic as you, but I see your point. However, it's not like Ms. Lorenzi is doing anything to help getting the situation going either....adults are so stupid sometimes. Well, with a bit of luck we're all going to be part of the 90% death quota in our last year of service and never have to become like that hahaha! Anyways, we're starting this evening so bring clothes and anything you think I don't have. No booze, no boys, no trying to fabricate evidence against grown men because they 'sexually harassed you'. Also, don't forget your swimsuits."

"F-for the one thing, that was a demonstration. And she was closest to me. I d-don't in the slightest see what your implying. Secondly, I feel you don't understand how parties go if you're not even opening the tiniest bit of wine," Caligetta said jokingly, attempting to deflect conversation away from the previous events. She sipped her coffee, reassuring herself that there was nothing weak about drinking super sweet coffee with milk. "Who's picking up the bill for this anyways? I might get a bite of cake and want to pay back my debts."

Seren nodded then squeaked in surprise as she saw the bolt flying. Instantly, she conjured a shield right in front of the bolts. They were small and weak, so they shattered on impact, but they did stop the bolts. Seren frowned. "If it's this much I'm sure I can stop it. The problem is something else . . ."

Jessica-Weird Sisters Apartment-Municipio V Jessica was about to respond to Jasmine when she heard Sam's comments on the subject of school. She sat down the bag she had been carrying and walked over to where Sam was sitting and took a seat across from the girl. Looking at Sam, Jessica replied, "There's more to life than fighting monsters and magic. Girls should go to school, even if they have magic and obligations to protect others. Its your obligation to yourself to have an education." Jessica stood up, but before turning to walk over and retrieve the bag, said, "After all, knowledge is power." She smiled at Sam, turned away, and moved back across the room to retrieve the bag.

James/(Jasmine)-Weird Sisters Apartment-Municipio V Jasmine was shocked at Sam's response "are...are you saying that you don't still go to school? How are you getting away with it? If I stopped going to school, my mom would find out and give me hell. Sure I can understand not liking school; It's kind of like taxes, a necessary evil. Because if you don't go to school, then how are you supposed to support yourself? I'll admit I didn't check, but I don't think you can make money fighting Errors." It was a little concerning that Sam was (seemingly) a school dropout, but Jasmine also found it baffling how she seemed to be able to get away with it

Sam glanced up, if only for a second, when Jessica sat down opposite to her. She admired how calm Jessia was as she spoke. If Sam had spoken like she had to either of her parents, they would have gotten upset, but Jessica took it all in her stride. Never raising her voice, never showing shock, just calmly voicing her opinions. The same could not be said of Sam's other teammate. "Are...are you saying that you don't still go to school? How are you getting away with it?" Jasmine's cries of shock were almost amusing to Sam. She turned her attention back to her book and turned another page. "My parents don't even know I'm here, let alone that I'm not going to school anymore," Sam said. "The minute I heard that Rome was brimming with magical girl and Error activity, as well as making contact with you guys veer ErrorNet and the necessary arrangements with Jessica as to where I would be living, I came straight here." She glanced up at Jasmine with a raised eyebrow. "I'm surprised you never noticed."

Annie - Error Wrecking Crew Roof of Apartments in Municipal XIII "Yeah, it broke after one attack. I'm sure once you get good at it, though, you'll be able to withstand a lot more. Let's try multiple attacks this time. Can you make more than one shield?" Annie drew back the bow again. This time she shot three arrows, one after the other, moving two and then three steps to the side for different angles. Again the shields broke, but stopped her attacks. The dead plant was still unharmed. "Nice, but we gotta work on maintaining them. What is the source of your magic?"

Seren shook her head. "A-actually, I can make them strong enough to stop your attacks," said Seren, trying to stop any misunderstandings, "but then the number I can summon goes down." She shuffled he feet as she thought of what to say next. "And another problem is I can't make them float or anything. I can just summon them somewhere in front of the target right before they get hit. If I don't get the timing right, the shields fall down and whatever's behind it gets hit." That was the main reason she had come. As it was, her shields were near useless in protecting anyone but her.

Annie - Error Wrecking Crew Roof of Apartments in Municipal XIII Annie puzzled for ideas before remembering something. "So, my magic is drawn, literally, from this book. I still don't know where you get yours. Some of the other girls have a weapon or pendant. Do you have anything like that?" Annie produced the old pages and bindings that contained the secrets to her magic and flipped to a page labelled "The Guardian". On it where several runes, some text and descriptions, and then the card itself, depicting an armored bear standing over a small child. It roared in defiance against a litter of arrows and wounds. "The Guardian is a protection spell, but also an Embodiment Card, like The Hunter," Annie explained. "It is defined by courage, honor, and inner strength." She looked up from the text and continued to smile. "Sounds exactly like what we are looking for. Maybe there is something in this that will help you too."

Hua Tsing-Virtù Cardinali Incarnano Cafe Zepelli "Ahhhh?" Confused and more than a little bit flustered, Hua decided to just take her seat and pretend that this happened. There was no need to acknowledge the kiss, as that'd just make this more awkward. -If she did acknowledge it, her friend may or may not have been going to the hospital for a very long time. Now partially recovered, she tried to break the awkward air by getting involved in the current conversation. "U-h, I can pick it up. Just, don't be to extravagant, alright? Alright." Hua took another sip from her tea, deciding to leave that in the air. Maybe cake would make them forget. Yes, everyone who was anyone enjoyed cake, so that would work. Putting her mind to more serious matters, Hua begin thinking about Rome. It was certainly a place different than her homeland of China, but it seemed to have nice people and nicer scenery. However, the Error activity was far more active in Rome than it had been in Taiwan.

Caligetta Cavallerizzo (Virtù Cardinali Incarnano) Cafe Zepelli Caligetta waved the waitress over and asked for a slice of chocolate cake. Nothing as elaborate as Adalina was eating though. She had to draw the line somewhere before her meal became far too frou-frou and stopped embodying everything she personally held dear, at least she claimed. Of course, it didn't help that things were already awkward and that she was not in the mood to push her luck at this point. "Are we planning to get any work done at all overnight? We could definitely do some 'assignments,' but if you're looking for fun and relaxation I'd understand. It might be just as well. I can barely sit down with all the riding I've been doing lately," Caligetta asked conversationally.

Adalina Corvi - Virtù Cardinali Incarnano Cafe Zepelli "I'm sure we can afford one night of relaxation without Rome getting completely destroyed, after all we're far from being the only girls fighting for her safety, though we're probably the best. Hey, you always have to see the positive side of things, right Cali? If you're sore now, that at least means you won't try to ride Hua later on and get the bedsheets all messy." Finishing the last pieces of her cake, Adalina turned her attention to the cup of coffee in front of her and took a big gulp of the warming liquid. It was true that there were more than enough Magical Girls out there, but if their mighty overlords called, they would have to follow. In order to administer justice, one had to make small sacrifices now and then, but she wondered if the faceless creatures behind the Error.net had to do the same, or if they could live their lives normally. "Let's proceed with the planning for this evening. What kind of movie should we watch: Horror, love, drama or action?"

It's unhealthy, for one thing, constantly imagining that if you're a good enough person you'll be pretty and have a perfect romance, and that nothing will ever tear you apart. And drama, don't get me started on drama. What kind of sadistic person wants to see other people emotionally suffer? Even if they're fake, it doesn't change much... I'm ranting again," Caligetta said, gradually winding down from her fervent speech. "Let me remind you all once again that we still haven't watched any of the Sergio Leone movies I've suggested."

Catherine - Firtu Cardinali Incaarnano Cafe Zepelli. "For the record," Catherine said to Cali as she set down her now finished cup of tea, "You completely set yourself up for that one." Thinking for a moment, Catherine considered her options. While she personally did not enjoy horror movies, she had the slight suspicion that if she voiced that her most loyal friend would select it out of her sheer friendship. "Why don't we go with a comedy?" she suggested casually, "We've seen enough action for several movies and love and drama will cause more frustration than actual entertainment."
