I'm not the GM or co-GM and I haven't actually gotten my character signed up, but I think I can help explain why these characters don't seem acceptable. They are ridiculously over-the-top dark. Seriously, what do you honestly expect to happen when, tonally(at least from what I've seen) this is supposed to not be too far off from the Teen Titans cartoon. Which had a brain in a jar and a talking Gorilla as some of the final villains. I mean, they were serious and it's been ages but I remember it being a really cool arc, but they were still a brain in a jar and a talking Gorilla. Not "organ thief druglord who murdered his own parents for basically no reason aside from evil crazy and who imprisoning will somehow just make things worse". This isn't some super-dark, gritty, "realistic but not really" RP. As for the "hero", he's flat-out too dark as well, and he has very poorly-defined powers that you haven't really defined after being directly asked about them. ... I'm sorry I'm going off like this when I'm not even a GM but it was really bothering me that you don't seem to get why they're not acceptable when it's pretty obvious to me as well. I'm sorry if I came off as rude or something and you don't really have to listen to me but I'm pretty sure those are the reasons you're being declined.

I'm sorry, I didn't know they allowed twelve year olds on RPG. First off dipstick, Paul's character is a real character. Since you're obviously stupid and don't know anything about the DC universe, let me show you who black mask is: Second, my character does not have "poorly defined powers". I'm not some stupid half pubic twelve year old that lists powers like: "Turns into animals" or "Has fire powers" like Beast Boy or Firestar. My character is not OP and he is a bit more realistic than others. I'm sorry that I am not role playing with mature EXPERIENCED role players. And over the top dark? What is this?! A PG movie? Someone needs to get out of the house.

Uh hello? My character is a normal human being. Isn't it obvious enough that he is exposed to the same injuries we all are? That should be obvious. Light is just his weakness. Being exposed to bright light could affect his vision and whatnot. USE. YOUR. BRAIN. THAT GOD GAVE YOU. And no it's not for no reason if you have anger problems. Do you watch the news lately? Mostly people are getting arrested for violence because they were MAD!

It's not fun if 5 people are trying to be Robin or Raven. Regular guild rules apply of course. I, as the Gm, have the final say in all decisions. Though I don't expect any serious arguments to break out here. The CO-GM however can help moderate this RP alongside myself, the CO-GM Rin has my permission to accept or deny your applications. I will allow romance should it appear, but keep anything above pg-13 in PM if you must go that far. You are allowed to make a Hero or Villain, but I'd prefer this to stay even. Please type more than three lines at least. Put your CHARACTER APPLICATION in the OOC tab until I approve. When I do approve you have permission to put it in the CHARACTERS tab at your own convenience. To show you've read the rules type "Titans Forever" in the other section of the application Keep in mind that I may change this at any time. I read those rules and no I didn't act like a dick. I did nothing that violated those rules either and if you look back on everything, I didn't start anything. First off, Vita isn't even a GM. So that gives the person no right for criticism. However, since we have the freedom of speech, she was entitled to her opinion. Hence forth, I was then entitled to my own, and I have the privilege to say what I want about her response in regards to my character. How about you guys grow out of your little shells and not limit yourself to these kiddish cartoon characters.

"Don't be a dick" is basic forum etiquette. If you can't handle the adversity of getting a character rejected, then you need to just agree to disagree with the people in this roleplay and drop out. Start your own roleplay if you want to dictate the rules. That's the point of being a GM.

I can handle that, and if you look at my first original responses, I made the necessary changes. However, other people besides the CO-GM got involved and that's where I got pissed. If we're talking about not being a dick than I think everyone involved has been one to some degree. No one has been understanding or cooperative regarding this situation, and yes including me.

Other people besides the Co-GM got involved because we are here to have fun in this rp, and I highly doubt anyone here but you has been a dick. You called Vita a "12 year old" and "stupid" when all she did was offer her own opinions on the matter. She was not rude or anything, yet you verbally abused her without any provocation. Vita may not be a GM here, but that doesn't mean she can't show you what she thought was wrong and give advice on how to correct those wrongs. Rin has asked you nicely to leave the rp, and you continued to lie about not breaking the rules. You may have made changes, but your behavior has been inexcusable. I may not be a GM either, but I think everyone else here can agree to what I am about to say. You are banned from this rp. Leave and never show your face here again until you change your behavior.

Other than being a dick apparently, I do not see any other violation of rules. First off, even if I may have phrased myself unnecessarily, I did refrain from further use of crude or inappropriate language. However, I posted this because the people on this are lacking knowledge in the RP's own universe to which it is based upon. Some have judged improperly while not having their own information straight. As an Admin I believe correction should be applied to both sides of the situation. Instead of just assessing one angle.

There was nothing wrong with my character, or Paul's. There is nothing that was "too dark" and her advice was given with ignorance and lack of knowledge of the DC Universe.

Alright guys, I've had enough of Sicarius. The best way to deal with a guy like him is to just ignore him. Just don't respond to anything he says. Even if what he says is highly insulting or anything, just pretend like he isn't even there. He's banned for a reason, after all.

Note to everyone: Before making an RP make sure you know and have all your information straight concerning what your RP is built around. If you want to have limitations as to how your characters should be formed, then do so in the original post. If anyone has a problem with certain graphic or morbid character then set an age limit.

I am 23 years old. I was born of rape. I have read portions of the FATAL core rulebook. A man has been killed in front of my eyes. I think your character is needlessly dark and poorly written.
