Well, now I'm imagining a dance squad of clones completely in sync with each other. As was I. That's exactly why I added that one.

Hello every one! If this is still open I was hoping to do a character with replication or mimicry type abilities, there would be limits for sure but I want to run the idea by everyone because its completely rational to not want that kind of character in the RP. There's no hard feelings if you agree, I have plenty of back up ideas.Oh, actually our arc 3 plot device is basically like that. Except she can perfectly replicate and use all other meta powers... Actually, you're probably not supposed to know about that either... But it's Arc 2 stuff so I guess it's fine?

Unless you guys have been secretly plotting behind my back, you traitors! Also, Gia could use any abilities completely. From what I've read in the past five minutes, mimicry seems to be an illusion of sorts. Could you give more information on the powers, Sapphire?
Would your character be more like Rouge from X-Men or Peter Petrelli from Heroes?I was thinking more like Peter Petrelli, except I never liked that after a certain point he just knew how to use all the powers so they won't be getting any knowledge from people and I promise they will NOT be a Sylar but will suffer from a similar hunger for power and knowledge.

Its funny to me because I was planning on my character very calm and meditative, in moral alignment they will probably be neutral good, they will likely be opposites. If you're cool with it I'd like to go ahead and make my character.

Explaining is fun ^.^ So basically, if this isn't already a thing, my character can sense other metas and in some cases their ranking. When she is within a 10 foot raidius (distance is subject to change) of another meta she replicates their power, she will know what it is but not how to use it. Any other knowledge about that power she has will stem from her own studies. She actually spends a lot of time working with an organization that teaches metas how to use their powers (this is assuming I can make my own faction, which I will if I can) learning how to use powers besides her own and it takes a lot of effort on her part. Using other peoples power basically requires her to think like they would and then try to replicate the process they would most likely use to access their powers, for powers that are pretty common (Assuming certain types of powers can be common *Technopaths*) this isn't as much of an issue because her 'faction' has likely helped a person with that power and has a record of it. So if mimicry is an illusion then no she does not have mimicry but Half Replication (Knows some about the power D/C/B), whoever Gia is has Full Replication (knows everything about the power A/S/SS). These are different from Basic Replication or Passive Replication (little to no idea that a power is even being replicated, usually never know about their power E/F). Does that help?
Sounds a lot like Synch from Generation X to me. How long does she keep a power after acquiring it? Does she have it forever or does she lose it after a certain time or when the person leaves the area?Neither, I handicapped them so much in other ways that it just kind of made more sense to have them be kept, plus her situation with 'Avarice' makes every encounter dangerous but I'll explain that more later.
