Ishin spun on his chair as Chou began to get changed. He placed his mask in his lap and looked over the metal surface. A few nicks and scratches marred the appearance of the stained glass section. He sighed gently. He really needed to finish his other mask, he spun around one of the walls that held a collection of masks. Fallen ghoul masks was his excuse to any and all CCG that walked into his office. He remembered one such meeting with the rumoured ‘Race Traitor’ Dove. That was sure an interesting encounter. He sympathised with her more that he disliked that Investigator. He knew full well how it was to be caught between two worlds. Every humane Ghoul knew the struggle. He allowed himself a brief smile after entertaining the idea of attempting to convince that Dove to fall from the lofty heights. He laughed gently to himself before looking to Chou “Yes, let’s go.” Ishin stood, throwing on his customary black trench coat and wrapping his neck in a crimson bandage. Mask in one hand, Chou’s hand in the other, Ishin pushed through the crowds and out into the fresh air. People had entered the club and the line was now very thin. He could smell only a single human…and they were drunk. He could hear a gentle heartbeat. He sighed softly…drunk humans were the worst to have laying around. He looked at Chou “wait here.” Making his way to the lain out form, he sighed. A passed out woman. He lifted her into his arms and made his way back to Chou and the bouncer “Put her up in the drunk tank” he said as he hefted her into the bouncer’s arms. The bouncer nodded and left, allowing Ishin to walk back to Chou “apologies…” he grabbed her hand once more and walked out of sight of humans, down an alley near one of the taller buildings of the neighbourhood. Slipping on the plated metal helmet, his kagune ripped forward. Using his wings he looked up and shot into the air, landing in a crouch on the roof. His kagune settled back down and he looked out over the expanse of ward 8. Here were three large factions that held dominion over the Ward. His eyes shifted to the ghoul restaurant. An alliance between him and them was yet to be struck without some apprehension. His eyes then flicked to the monstrous eyesore that was CCG headquarters. He gave a short soft growl before looking around. The Hunt was on….

Akurai made his way through the ward and with every step he felt a bit more hopeless. It was only a question of time before someone would find his parents and the bloody mess on the floor and contact the cops or better yet the CCG. 19 years had passed in his life and not once had he hunted down a human for food, he had just eaten the scraps his dad managed to drag home. So now after 19 years of living undercover in safety everything was going to get blow because some asshole had to eat his parents."Congratulations Aku, your officially a murderer" but saying it only brought a small smile onto his face "Well... a ghoul murderer" The bag felt heavy after a while and he had to sit down somewhere. The bag was filled with every piece of clothing and every shred of cash he could find in the house so it being heavy was a given. He sank down at the corner of a small shop and just sat there and looked up at the sky, it looked so peaceful up there. "Is heaven a thing mom ?"

Totsuka Chou
Chou followed after Ishin, and hand in hand they walked through the crowd of people. As they made their way to the exit, the smell of a drunk human filled her nose, which was rather expected given their location. Chou tensed, but rather than step for the easy kill, Ishin told Chou to stand back. Idly standing, Chou picked at her dress as she wondered how anyone thought frills were ever a good idea to wear, looking up at the reappearance of her guardian. He smelled even more strongly of human, but she knew he didn't kill whatever drunkard he'd come across. It was too close to home, and too boring of an adventure. "Un," she nodded with affirmation as her hand reached for Ishin's hand, the two rising to the sky with the older ghoul's aid. Chou, despite her wings, couldn't fly, and scaling the walls- while easy- wouldve hindered Ishin's speed. So, she gratefully accepted the free ride, her hands slipping on her mask after he did. It was one of her own design, crudely coloured with a crayon she'd found in the streets. As her focus heightened with the placement of the mask, her nose twitched at the scent of blood- human. Her gaze wandered alongside Ishin's before pointing towards a lone figure leaning against a closed shop, unsuspecting. "There's one," she noted, excitement too great to stop her from dropping down, forgetting that Ishin was supposed to be making calls and that she was supposed to be hunting girls for her attire issues. Her kagune escaped from her back, shielding her fall by pushing her up and throwing her further over rooftops, her feet never touching the ground, stopping on the rooftop just before the boy as their eyes made contact. She stilled, wondering how he knew she was coming, frowning as the mix of human blood mixed with something more foul. Ghoul. Leaping down the final rooftop, she stepped in front of the blonde teen, her wings hovering intimidatingly before her. "No hunting here," she warned, "This isn't your hunting ground."

Meat, Meat, MEAT!
As Edward got out of the kitchen carrying the menus, he raised his head to see what he first thought to be another late customer. It took him a moment to realize that it was his co-worker Bakura. After a couple of slow steps, the cook heard the faint plea for help, rushing over to his side. As Bakura's body fell, Edward kneeled by his side. He lifted the half-conscious young man and quickly set him on a secluded booth's seats. Pushing the swinging door, he rushed into the kitchen and ran his hand through some packages in the storage room. He grabbed one and made his way back to the room, grabbing the two menus that he'd dropped on the counter and carelessly tossing them at a table as he kept moving towards Bakura. Edward pushed the table aside and unwrapped the tip of the package, placing the open part right in front of the young man's mouth from which some condensed human flesh leaded. "Eat up. I'll pour you some coffee," the boy said quietly and walked over to the other two, waiting for their order.

CCG Headquarters Yuuka chuckled. "You think he's weird? You're an investigator now, kid. Trust me, things are about to get a whole lot weirder. Now let's see what we've got here." Yuuka grabbed a pile of papers and began power-reading them, showing incredible focus unlike anything Hisoka had seen from her so far. When it came to Ghouls, Special Investigator Matsuoka was all business. "A-rank Knight, real name and/or other aliases unknown. Male, six foot four, other distinguishing characteristics unknown. Koukaku-user. Kagune takes the form of a black elongated spear which he wields riding atop a large black horse or motorcycle. Subject has proven evasive, most likely knows the locations of all the cameras in the city. I think we can infer an ambush. Our best bet is to lure him out of hiding so we can face him on equal footing. What do you think, 3rd rank investigator Hisoka?"

There were a few things about Knight which really stuck out to Hisoka, taking a few moments of silence to contemplate the information, ensuring what he was about to say was not utterly mad. "...A ghoul that owns both a horse and motorcycle and can afford to maintain them to the point of being able to shake pursuit. Properly looking after a horse in this climate can be anything from 170,000 yen upwards a year, and motorcycles are incredibly costly in their own right. We're looking for a person who is relatively comfortable, six foot, and possibly has an interest in Western History given their dedication to the role. Is there a blacksmith in either this District or the neighbouring ones?" It was verbal diarrhoea for the most part, but she did ask for his thoughts. Hisoka bit down on his thumb, more ideas coming to mind. It was difficult to know what exact year Knight became active, but a first recorded incident would be enough to work backwards from - enough to create a good assumption. "I think we should ambush the ambusher..." He started, looking up into the eyes of Yuuka. It appeared they were similar in some way, his red orbs carrying a completely different feeling than the kind, if confused, look that was in them before. "If we can start to figure out his identity, then we can catch him unaware in the middle of his cover life. More likely to bring him back in alive, less likely to be ready for a fight."

Just as he got done asking his question Akurai's eyes fell upon a figure standing on top of the building in front of him. She was standing just in front of the moon and even if it was just a shadow he could clearly see it was a girl. "An angel ?" He asked himself, but another quick glance at her wings ruled that out. She looked like a butterfly from afar, a really dangerous butterfly. It took a moment before she jumped of the building, fluttered down to the ground and approached Aku 'I guess even isn't real' "No hunting here. This isn't your hunting ground." His area ? Akurai could not care less about hunting at the moment, he just ate after all. Getting of the ground he brushed the dust and gravel of and then locked eyes with the girl again. "I have already eaten so your area is safe. I'm just passing through, so you can take your moth wings and flutter away" He wasn't normally this harsh towards strangers, but today he had really had enough of ghouls. The taste of the last one he ran into still remained on his tongue and no matter how much he brushed his teeth he could still sense a hint of ghoul in his breath.

CCG Headquarters Yuuka sighed. "Yeah. If we're going to get anywhere with this case, we need to learn more about him. Where he eats, where he sleeps, and who he spends his time with. We can use any one of these things against him, but our best bet is finding out who he associates with. Business owners, neighbors, coworkers. A Ghoul like this would have to have at least two of the three given his lifestyle." Yuuka stood up. "Keeping that in mind, the first thing we need to do is figure out where someone like him would go about procuring a horse in this city, and if possible, where he's getting his armor and shoehorses made. It's possible he had them made elsewhere and then imported, so we can't afford to neglect the possibility that this Ghoul is a foreigner. Keeping that in mind, we're looking for an upper middle class male, possibly of American or North-Eastern European descent, who does frequent business with blacksmiths, motorcycle enthusiasts and chop shops, and probably veterinarians as well. I think that narrows the list of potential suspects down quite a bit, don't you?"

Izumi When the wannabe smartass guy approached her, Izumi frowned. Did he like to state the obvious or what? A sarcastic reply would be for the best if the guy wasn't a ghoul like her. "Well, duh, dummy! Of course I know where the entrance is, or do I look stupid to you?" Izumi answered, in a chirpy, almost irritating happy voice. "You don't know? When you need to fix some business with someone, it is actually better to go by the back door. You get to them easier." Izumi said to him, winking at him. "Now, how about letting the adults talk?" After saying that, Luca opened the door for them and invited them in, quiet as a tomb. "Would it hurt you to be a bit more lively?" Izumi stepped into the restaurant and sat where Luca had ordered her to. Sitting with legs crossed, she was able to catch a glimpse of the guy who arrived all beaten up and collapsing shortly afterwards. Well, this she just had to see. She approached where Bakura was and leaned in to get a better look at his face. "So, what happened to you? Oh, boy, just get me the same as this guy." Izumi said to the guy who was now trying to take their orders. "Doves? The Dining Hall? What was it? I can go get revenge on your behalf if you want."
Asuya Searching and searching, up and down in the CCG HQ, Asuya just couldn't get a hold on the girl she needed. Fed up with it, she decided to call Yoko Hikari, who wasn't in there at the time. Just when he wanted to give her an important assignment. He couldn't help but sigh. He'd also probably shout at her once she picked up.

"Same as him?" Edward repeated, raising an eyebrow. He didn't really like being dubbed boy but what he liked less was the girl's display of a nonchalant and rude attitude. The boy took a deep breath threw his nose and let it out through his mouth, as if sighing. Ah... "Right away." He wasn't in the mood for ghoul customers. It was a generalization but he found them to be rather self-loving and uncaring of others, though that was a rather strange way to view things considering what he was too. The cook made his way towards the kitchen, finding himself acting as waiter when he was supposed to be doing his homework. He poured the coffee into three different cups, leaving the one that had been used before next to his notebook and the others on a tray. There was a large, aesthetically fitting emptiness through which he'd normally give the order for someone to take away. Edward found himself putting the tray on the usual spot before he realized he was also the receiver. He walked through the door with a package in hand. He tossed it on the girl's table and placed one of the cups of coffee on it too. "Anything else?" he asked wearily, following it up with a yawn.

Ishin remained in pace as he let Chou scout out. She had remarkable senses, stronger than even himself sometimes, so he often allowed her to scout prey before they jumped in to the fray. Suddenly, she had found someone she liked. Reacting immediately, he sighed gently. She was supposed to be hunting a girl about her size…not letting her hunger get the better of her. Ishin’s wings solidified under a mental command, the moving colours suddenly frozen in place and giving him the wholly inhuman look he enjoyed, and he jumped down. Gliding down into place above Chou, on an overlooking building, he looked at the target she had selected. There was no doubt that this one wasn’t human…rather covered in the blood. Keeping silent he listened and smiled slightly as Chou defended his hunting grounds. My my…that was awfully cute of her he thought, allowing himself a small grin. The Boy retorted with an acid in his voice that even Ishin was surprised someone beside him could muster. He breathed in, the scent of a ghoul mingled with the human that came off him. He stepped off the building, slamming down between the boy and Chou “You are not a human” he began, his voice echoing and masked by the helmet “you are an unknown Ghoul that walks through my area without attempting to notify me?” Ishin’s second Kagune ripped forward, coating his arm in a stained glass pattern “we only survive by adhering to rules…and you’ve broken them…” his Kagune sharpened into sinister blades “have you anything to say before I tear you apart and feed you to the dogs?”

Nonozumi Miko
Nono's brows furrowed as he thought, yes, she did look rather stupid. Sounded it, too. He scratched at his ears in annoyance, just about to turn and leave when the door opened. Well, now, see, he had to stay or be rude otherwise. "Pardon the intrusion,"he excused as he followed after the girl, his journey to the kitchen leading up to watching another person wobble in with wounds. Something hummed in Nono, telling him that the sight of a wounded ghoul meant bad news, and that humming was what had kept him alive for quite some time so he intended to listen to it. "Oi, aren't you being a bit too rude," he chided the girl- snark at the waiter and her voice high pitched, Nono's head hurt just to hear it. Obnoxious. "Guy can barely move, and you're grinding him." He rolled his eyes before backtracking from area, back towards the exit as he called out- "Anyways, this looks like a bad place to be in, so I'll see you guys not here lmao g-t-g." And, with finger guns as monotone as his voice, he absconded, reentering the wild concrete jungle of District 8. Slipping on his Noh mask, his kagune released from his spine, attaching to brick and pulling himself up to the highest nearby rooftop, above all the cameras, hopefully. And just in case, he chose a rooftop near ones that other ghouls had ripped up, his eyes glancing up just to ironically make sure a satellite wasn't floating around watching him. "Never know with the paranoia prince, l-o-l," he said to himself, before starting his roof hopping adventure, senses searching for tasty prey.
Totsuka Chou
Chou's wings almost bristled, partially because she'd been identified as a moth, and partially because there was something about the boy that bothered her. She slipped her mask off to get an even clearer look, only for her sight to be blinded by the appearance of Ishin. It was only then that she realized what she'd done- acting before him and not even hunting the right prey, Chou's ears burned lightly in shame. Her attention refocused as the scene before her occurred, and it struck her why the boy seemed so familiar. His face twisted with disgust, and it reminded Chou of something foul in her mouth as well- the boy had eaten a ghoul prior to this. And, from how the air around him bled of weariness, she knew that he didn't do it for power or willingly. Her eyes snapped towards Ishin, her feet instantly taking her forward as her mouth opened and closed. What could she say? She had already made so many mistakes that night, did she have the audacity to make a request? But, at the same time, she wanted to make sure this boy didn't eat any more loved ones, he must be shell shocked. No doubt the ghoul he'd eaten was like the ghouls she'd consumed- family, sisters. "Don't," she said finally, a hand reaching for Ishin's sleeves. "Let's keep him." Her small mouth pursed as she thought about her words, opening once more to request, "He can hunt... for us, we're low on ghouls because of the Doves... and..."- what was it that Ishin always said when he tried to convince her to stay at the club?- "I need friends..."

Out of nowhere someone dropped in between Akurai and the girl and he found himself jump backwards. The guy frightened him and made him shiver slightly, if the girl was a 1/10 this guy was 100/10. "I was pretty happy about being unknown..." Akurai whispered to himself. The words the mand said were like knifes and without knowing Akurai had been steeping backwards and was now with his back to the wall. As the mans Kagune ripped forward Akurai's did the same and coated the boys vital organs as well as it could, but never in his life had Akurai felt so frail. "I dont care if you kill me. Actually it would be nice. My mom and dad are back at home in a pool of their own blood. A ghoul killed them both and he was eating them as I came home. I lost control and I started to punch" His hands curled into fists "and I didn't stop. I just kept going until he looked more like a gooey mess then a man" He looked right at the masked man "and then I ate him" he didn't want to give a reason. He didn't want to say that even if mommy and daddy smelled so good he forced himself to eat the ghoul. " So kill me... I wont mind" The girls plea however came as a surprise. He didn't see what reason she would have to want to keep him alive, but as soon as she said they should keep him he started to understand. "I won't hunt, I can't. I have always had food at home, dad provided for me" He looked at the girl as she said she needed a friend "I ate one of us and still you say I could be your friend ?"

Bakura held his ribs tightly the entire time, that's where it ached the most. He had already gotten over his broken arm but his ribs were broken and he hoped that he didn't have an internal injury. His nose twitched at the smell of human meat, it's smell smelling like life in solid form. He quickly grabbed it and tore it apart from his mouth, devouring it within seconds. He let out a sigh of relief, usually feeling better after a meal. He wiped the blood away with his sleeve as he began to move his left hand It's healing faster than before He turn to glare at the young girl in the eyes, blinking as they reverted back to normal "It was the Dining Hall. But it doesn't matter. That rhino looking bastard is dead anyways" He said as he slowly stood up. He turned his gaze to the other stranger Ghoul in the shop "If I was gonna draw Doves here, I would of left myself to die out there" By the time he finished, the Ghoul left. He walked over to the table and fell onto one of the seats, grabbing a cup of coffee and taking a sip. He looked down at his hand, squeezing it tightly Just that meal won't suffice for me to heal. I need to eat. "It isn't common for strangers to be coming here this late. Why are you here?" He said to the female Ghoul as he took off his hood and took another sip of coffee.

Just as Bakura finished his question, Edward sat across him with his coffee in hand. "Well, at least you probably won't be going there again in a while," he said, taking a sip from his cup. "You should be better soon enough." He wasn't too keen on the idea of people hunting near the shop. It might eventually lead to the doves investigating the area more thoroughly, giving the ghouls at the shop a hard time. He shot a brief glare at the girl. She seemed like a rather uncontrollable ghoul, or perhaps that was just Edward's perception due to her erratic behaviour so far.

A god-awful noise suddenly rang out from Yoko's phone, loud enough to rival the music and ambient noise coming from the main dance floor of the club. At first Yoko just ignored it in her dreamlike state, but as her migraine started again and the noise didn't stop, she pulled out her phone and answered with a worn out tone before she realized what she was doing. "Moshi..." She started to fade away. "CCG, rank 2, Hikari Yoko. At your service." Before the person on the other side could respond, Yoko quickly recalled any reason why anyone would be calling. The only people that would have this number would be her sister up at the university and her fellow CCG workers, but its not that she had a partner or anything. And she had finished her work for the week, except for that last minute file that appeared on her desk. She has yet to look through it though, which she was hoping that it wouldn't come up. She didn't even know what time or day it was.

Ishin gave a short and violent growl as the boy spilled his story. Ishin didn't care. This was an offence to his domain and he would have none of it…especially from cannibalising scum. He raised an arm, preparing to strike swiftly before he was stopped by Chou. He looked down at the girl and raised an eyebrow. She was asking something of him again. He knew how uncomfortable that made her so it seemed…out of place until she mentioned needing a friend. He nodded and his Kagune retracted. He stepped forward in front of Chou and towards the cowering boy. He did look far too gone to be of much help tonight. “another one to train I suppose” he mused before taking off his helmet and resting it under an arm “you have been saved by someone's good graces…I suggest you show more appreciation of that fact, boy” Ishin nodded gently “Chou…take the boy back to Dark Nights” he said quickly “Clean him up and show him around…I’ll hunt solo tonight” He tapped a finger to his chin “Go to Rocky and ask for the key to Room 3-B…that’ll be yours and boys for time being until I can find somewhere else” he placed his helmet back on to his head and shot up into the sky with the help from his kagune. Now he could be by himself. He could hunt with reckless abandon. He could be at his normal. The scent of humans filtered through the metal helmet drove him on. His stomach tightened in anticipation. His arms covered in thick plates of RC cells, he was ‘Savage’ once more. Leaping over alleys and pounding over rooftops, Ishin was a silent predator. His first target, slung over his shoulder and half-conscious, was a girl for Chou. He needed about three more bodies to feed the demands of his Ghouls. He leapt in to a group of teens that were either drunk or high. Breaking the street light above them with a flash of crystal RC, in a flash they were on his shoulder as well, in varying states of consciousness or death. That was enough for now. He returned on his hunting path back to Dark Nights. Arriving back at Dark Nights, Ishin let himself in through a cellar door and down into a room that was hidden from view. The corpse cellar. Leaving the humans there for later, he returned to his office and changed into his usual day to day attire. Leaving his mask behind seemed most prudent as he needed to check on the drunk before checking on Chou and the Boy. Ishin made his way through the crowds and up to the Drunk Tank, rapping on the door with his knuckles “Open up.”

Izumi
Well, while it seemed that the guy hadn't been damaged by doves, he still had enough of an attitude to be making snarky remarks. Izumi felt that she actually liked the guy more than one would actually think. "Well, now that the no life isn't here anymore, I think I should leave too. Preys might not be as abundant if I delay a bit too much." Izumi smiled, before turning to the waiter, Edward. "Oi, boy. You okay on supplies here? I can always bring over my leftovers if you aren't. I'm giving preferance to you guys, you know?" Izumi said, before taking her cellphone out and tinkering with it a bit. Even if Luca didn't know, Izumi was actually an acquaintance, and a good friend, of the owner of the restaurant. That's why she so nonchalantly moved around the place as it were her own. Before long, she noticed that what she said might actually gross the guy out. What could be more disgusting that human entrails? Half eaten human entrails. "Oh, but I don't actually mean leftovers like that, I mean the guys I can't eat after hunting tonight." Izumi said, blocking her phone and smiling at the pair of guys before her. "You asked what I'm doing her, no?" Izumi made her way towards the back door. "Well, I was just checking in, you know. Making sure people here haven't lost their balls and so, it is pretty bad when that happens." Izumi laughed a bit. "And also, you never know with that head of the CCG. He might be onto you the moment you take your eyes off him, or the cameras. You gotta be careful, here in district 8, is eat or be eaten. Now, ciao!" Izumi shouted, before jumping away from the restaurant, and putting her mask on after searching for it inside her bad.
Asuya
"HIKARI!? For god's sake, can't you actually BE where someone needs you? Listen, I've gotten on some piece of information I need checked out. Aside from you, there's no one else free right now, and I need you to come with me. Where are you? I'm coming to pick you up rigth away. Do you have your quinque with you, or should I bring it to you?" Asuya spouted out to Hikari, without even waiting for a reply. "Anyhow, be ready. I know your location anyway. I'll also bring a backup should you not have your quinque with you, or yours if I find it. Bye." Not wanting to stay too much on the phone, Asuya quickly hanged up. Fortunately (unfortunately for his underlings) Asuya had a tracker put in every and each one of them, using their phones or otherwise. Paranoia is a really dreadful thing. He quickly started up in his phone the application and searched for Hikari. Finding her in the club Dark Nights was NOT a pleasant surprise. "That girl.... you can't actually be serious, hanging around such a place." He sighed with exasperation. He left the building and went to his car. Soon enough, he was en route to the club, to pick Hikari up.
In the dark alleys of Ward 8
A man, clad in full body armor and wearing a menacing looking helmet, walks through the streets. His kagune that was covering his hand just moments ago disappears into nothing into his shoulder blade. Contrary to his medieval appearance, a ringing sound coming from his phone suddenly rang. He quickly rushed to pick it up and turned it on, the screen lighting up his helmet. The neighs of a horse could be heard nearby. "They are onto me... and the Cannibal Corpse no less. I will need full support in this one, and there's no reinforcements to call upon besides you, Checkmate. Help me through this, and even if I am caught I will not say anything about you." As a middle aged man would, he slowly slid his fingers through the touch screen of his phone and said what he wanted to write in the message. Before long, the message was sent and he approached the black horse standing in the alley. He climbed onto its back. "Let's go, Yozo. They cannot hope to outwit us, not with her on our side." Knight took the reins of the horse and they set off.

Yoko kinda just sat there while Asuya chewed her out. Not that she was supprised. She figured it was work calling, here to ruin her time off. She didn't care, she had her time off; as brief as it was. With the phone call over, Yoko finally went to open the door to the drunk tank to see why her captors wanted to be so polite to their victims. She didn't really see herself as a victim of a kidnapping though; she knew she passed out, but just didn't know where she was. Yoko opened the door to find a boy, about her age, holding a more mature presence than she'd figured for a twenty-something year old. She stared for a moment, captivated by his red hair and matching attire before she snapped back to the realization that this was probably the person who locked her away to safety. She quickly straightened up and bowed with a simple "Thank you" before getting on to the matter at hand. She stared at him a moment: calm, collected, and non-threatening, but taking control of the conversation and strict notice of his facial expressions and general attitude. "Excuse me, my name is Hikari. I am a rank 2 ghoul investigator," Yoko paused to take note of any particular changes the boy infront of him may have released, "... and I have just been called away on business. If you wouldn't mind showing me to the front, the CCG would be appreciative that one of our beloved citizens were happy lend a hand to one of their trusted officers."

"That it does, Matusoka-san. With whatever results we get from that breakdown, we can likely smell the ghoul on the list." He nodded to his superior."May I add, if he has such extensive knowledge on the camera network then he has likely grown confident. It's not really that important..." he begins to drift off as he sorts some of the papers back into the pile, "But it's just an interesting thought. If we let him think he can outmove us, and act with that in mind, then we will have the upper hand." Hisoka paused, staring at the table in a very...odd manner. Distant, as if viewing something somewhere else. A lesson from his youth suddenly surfaced. "'The successful hunter moves his prey without them knowing it'." He suddenly recited, blinking away whatever he was visualising. "Where should we start, Matsuoka-san?" Hisoka asked, slight smile returning to his face. He stood to join her, placing his hands in his hoodie pockets. He was the picture of youth, looking too damn young to be in this line of work.
