I've been looking over other sheets, and I've come to agree that it would be best for the roleplay if my state was our resident communist superpower. I'm in the process of reworking my concept and making some important changes (including altering the name to something a little easier on the tongue).

Artesia would more than likely be looking at offering assistance to the struggling nations of the world. Economic, scientific and maybe even militarily.

Actually, after some review. I would like to change my nation so that it is no longer a client state of the Resian Empire, rather maintaining a policy of neutrality, (or as close to it as possible) during the great war and after, much like the Swedish in WW2. Sorry, So boerd. ;)

The history is being hammered out, so we'll have that war history up soon.

There's still a lot for everyone to do once we have the Great War and geography settled. Military numbers, for instance.

Map update. Resia in Gold, Artesia in Dark Grey, Sturvia in Purple and the CSC in good old socialist red.

People interested in being the colony of one of the superpowers should place themselves accordingly. If your country is sovereign, wherever works, I guess.

I was unoriginal; I did the name of the nation's founder and -land. Similar to Rhodesia in a sense.

@So Boerd If you have any particular suggestions as to where I should place my nation given its history as a colony I'd be more than glad to consider them.

I would say the gigantic island/mini continent directly to my southeast, based off your rolls. You've got a tiny military, so I would have had to/presently be your guarantor, and able to get there quickly. With the navy as my strongest branch, the close, big, island that is still off of the beaten path (hence your low tech rolls) would make sense.

I'll eventually decide to place Holtland somewhere, but despite being the GM, I've pretty much let the superpowers decide where things are. I have a first post pretty well written, actually, so we can get things going any time. The sooner we get countries placed, the sooner we can go. Also, in order to attract more players, I've put the status as 'apply.' But I think we'll be running with what we have. The first post will probably involve the insurgency in Holtland getting a lot uglier with a RC4-style debacle, which in addition to the assassination of Martin I and Field Marshal Conrad ought to kick the situation there into an even wider crisis. Once I get a feel for first posts beyond that, current affairs in your nations, I will do a Doomsday-clock style post. Beyond that, the WC will be holding a debate on where to place their permanent headquarters. Anyone care to be the temporary headquarters perhaps trying to derail that process so as to keep the headquarters in their nation? :)

I'll get to work on finishing the rest of the NS then. I don't mind being a temporary home but Artesia would probably also be pushing to be the pernament home either way.

Still have to add a few persona's and military specifications. Other than that, Sturvia's extending an offer of 'cool' friendship to its previous colonies, recognising their independence.

I'm down to just military numbers, I'll have a look at some statistics from the Cold War to gauge an average.
