Chapter 1: New Legends...
10 years have passed since Straw Hat Pirates made it to One-Piece. Luffy, becoming the pirate king he so desperately fought for, his story is told throughout many pirates and marines. The Straw Hat Pirates one day up and vanished, gone without a trace and no one knows where. When news spread of this rumors were quickly formed. Were they killed? Did the marines get them? But one rumour peaked many peoples interests, is the One-Piece up for grabs? The marines have announced that they had a part in the disappearance of The Straw Hat Pirates but no one believes them. Many pirates have been called to Loguetown, a city on the Polestar Islands in the East Blue, where a certain group will announce if the chase for One-Piece is finally started. A pirate crew known as 'The Silver Eyes' called out to many pirates for this meeting. Upon arrival you can see many pirates, the stores flooded and the piers almost overflowing with ships, big and small. Up on the execution stand three people were looking over everyone. On the left was a little girl with long red hair, she wore the cliche pirates hat with a black trench coat with a white frilly thing at her chest, sat on the edge, with her feet dangling off the side, she couldn't be older than 15. She had what looks like a small cutlass on her waist, her name is known among many, Elvira Foy. On the opposite side of her, to the right was a medium sized man with curly yellow hair. His chest was covered in belt's, that were then covered with about 8 pistols, all firing 4 bullets. He had two swords on his waist and he stood to attention, hands behind his back, feet together and back way too stiff, his name is none other than, Ray Stryker. In the middle of both of these people was presumably the captain. A purple haired man, looking very interesting at the crowd. He wore a black goth like clothes and appeared to have no weapons on his person. His name is Drake Winmore. This crew is now one of the last great crews, just these three is all that is left. Stories say that these three helped Luffy on his quest in multiple occasions. One more hour until the meeting starts...

A day before the meeting. Zerry had traveled to East Blue by ship but he was planning to take a less obvious path to Logue Town, partly because he could partly because as per the agreement with the crew he would have to pay at arrival. About half an hour of off the Polestar Islands' coast he jumped overboard to swim the rest of the way. As soon he left the ship he made sure to dive as deep as he could knowing the human sailors wouldn't be able to follow him. As he swam to the island he caught some fish and collected seaweed for food. Avoiding the harbor in order not to draw attention to himself the fishman got onto shore thanks to a shallow inlet. He could see Loguetown in the distance and guesstimated it would take him about 45 minutes of walking through the forest covered hills to get there. However since he had no intention of paying to sleep in an inn, he instead made a campfire to cook on. After he was done eating he put the fire out and headed back into the water hoping to spend the night undisturbed. The next day at dawn he headed towards Logue Town. Ordinarily an unknown Fishman would draw a lot of attention in a city outside the Grand Line, but thanks to all the pirates and other tourists he was simply another face in the crowd. Zerry went straight to the center of town since this was one meeting he didn't want to be late too. Once he got there he sat down on the ground across from the Execution Platform and patiently waited until it would start.

Remy walked along the long avenue of the busy fish market, eager to see what the fishermen had trawled up. He was happy to do this, though it had taken some serious convincing to allow his boss Mr. Gordon to allow it. The man had dragged him out to the docks and thrown him into the water one day and still wouldn't rule out the theory that he had some sort of ability or curse that spoiled food on contact. Remy didn't blame him for it. Hehadn't ruled out the possibility that he was cursed, even if he was sure he didn't get it from eating a fruit. But at least Mr. Gordon seemed satisfied that it only took effect when he tried to cook. Just carrying food back to the restaurant wouldn't do any damage. They were going to need it, too. For some reason the place was even more packed than usual. Not just the restaurant either, the streets were packed with large, tough looking men. Men of the sea by any measure of the word. Was there something going on today? He wondered if one of these sailors would finally take him to the Grand Line, but then he was distracted by the sight of- "A Blue-Finned Elephant Tuna!" He said excitedly, running up to where two large fishermen where carrying the exotic fish off a boat to marvel at it. "Hey there Remy." The Captain, a gruff looking weatherbeaten man said as he hopped off the ship and set to follow his sons. "Beauty, isn't she? Last time one of them showed up 'round these parts was 10 years ago." "Do you need any help carrying it?" said Remy, following along after the man. "You're still working, boy! Gordon'll give me hell if I send his favorite waiter back smelling like seafood." He replied, as the tuna was already drawing a crowed of onlookers. Remy looked around nervously, and felt the reassuring weight of the money in his pocket. "What if I buy it from you?" He asked quickly. The fishermen turned and looked at him, saw the eagerness in his eyes, and gained the far away look of a man who must tell his paraplegic daughter that her dreams of becoming a ballerina are just never coming true. He puts one large, fatherly hand on Remy's shoulder and looks deep into his eyes. "Now son, you're a good boy." "Yes sir." "You're always coming down here, you've made yourself helpful." "Yes sir." "I like to think we know each other pretty well." "Yes, sir." Remy said, already seeing where this was going. "So I see that look in your eye, and I know what it means." "Yes sir." The man signed deeply, before continuing. "I would kill you before I let you desecrate any part of this fish with your strange voodoo." There's a long moment of silence while Remy reflects upon these words. He looks down at the ground for a bit, before glaceing back up and says, defeated, "Well thank you for your honesty." The man gives him a few sympathetic pats on the shoulder. "Now get to your shopping son, before you piss off Gordon." And with that he turns around and the procession begins again, the ever expanding crowed around the tuna drifting away like a dingy on the open sea. Remy sighs, shrugs his shoulders, and sets off amongst the market stalls.

Bristlebane looked around sleeply, he was supposed to be here for a meeting about some great pirate sombodies, but everyone just looked really boring. The only poeple remotly intresting were the three poeple standing on the execution platform for some reason. What kinda person used guns and swords, there must be some kind of rule against that, he didn't even have a gunsword. The weird weaponless captain dude looked like he'd sooner start a rock band than look for a legendary treasure. Bristlebane sighed and closed his eyes laying back down and waiting for the whatever to start.

Because they were considered outlaws, pirates didn't often advertise their presence somewhere ahead of time for their own safety. So for them to do just that meant that they had to have a really good reason. They wanted people to come and watch...although what they wanted them to watch was anyone's guess. Jonathan wasn't able to stay away. He just had to know what they wanted badly to risk getting into a fight with the navy. So he found himself at the place where the meeting was said to take place. It was a little overwhelming (but no really surprising) just how many people had arrived here. Jonathan couldn't remember the last time he had seen Loguetown so packed. It was hard to believe that the navy wasn't here to stop this yet. 'Then again...they might be after all. Who says that marines always have to wear those uniforms all the time. Without that outfit, they look just like everyone else. So who can say if any of them are really here or not' he thought to himself

"Go check that execution platform, pirates from all over the place seems to have gathered there for some reason. And I swear Jack, if you send someone else to do this for you I'm going to have you demoted!". Jack could still hear ringing in his ears from Captain Mekka's haphazardly barked orders. He wandered around on the roof of a building surrounding the square, looking for any particularly suspicious looking pirates. Not for the sake of Mekka, oh no, Jack had other plans. He would pick out a strong crew here and join them! He had had enough of the strict military order of the Marines and was prepared to join the other team. He scanned the square lazily once more and noticed, of course, the three that were on the execution platform itself. Jack had heard the rumors, these three called all these pirates here, of all places. The only explanation Jack could put his finger on was an ushering in of a new age of Pirates. However since the disappearing of Monkey D. Luffy, the Marines have never been more in control or stronger. Nearly shaking with excitement Jack waited on...

Logue Town was not exactly the ideal destination Lily had in mind. Well, for a start, she wanted to go to an island that is a bit livelier, and more welcoming. She even went a long way from South Blue from her home town in Cinnamon Island to supposedly start an adventure, and see lots of incredible things, but here she is, standing in a rather bleak looking pier. Although Lily was thankful for the good Captain of the Grumpy Maiden, a fishing vessel from Cinnamon Island who agreed to take her as far as East Blue, Lily cant help but feel a bit disappointed. After saying her thanks to the Captain and his crew, Lily decided to check out the town anyway. On her way though, Lily noticed the line of ships that dotted the town pier, and what makes her even more uneasy was that the majority of those ships are flying black flags. Lily knew with the number of those ships here, it wont be long before the Marines would come snooping in, and that could only mean trouble for her.

Back in Cinnamon Island, Lily steals for a living. Well, she's not particularly good at it to begin with, she never went for the bigger catch, just things she needed at the time, food and clothing, not even money. Stealing didn't really got her into trouble until one day she stole a bag of fruits. Lily ate the content of the bag right away, most of them taste like ripe mangoes, but one fruit particularly taste like raw meat, it even looked peculiarly funny, shaped like a lady's purse. Unaware of who the owner of the bag was, Lily went on with her day as usual. Until the next day, she was suddenly rounded up by the local police. They dragged her up to the pub where she stole the bag and to her surprise, the place was packed with Marines, and in the middle of it all was a huge man wearing a white coat. He appears to be the owner of the bag. He asked her where the bag is, but of course Lily denied she knew any of such bag at all. Out of patience, the man stood and was about to hit her when Lily swiped her hand in front of her, a zipper suddenly popped out of nowhere. Driven by adrenaline, Lily quickly unzipped it, the man's hand slipped into the hole in the air, and right at the same moment the man's hand vanished into sight, it reappears just in front of his own face from another hole only to hit himself with his own hand, knocking himself over. Lily used the moment of confusion to make a run of it.

She ran towards the docks, with no particular plan at all. Lily saw the Maiden was about to sail off, so she boarded it, and then before she could process it all, here she is, in Logue Town, with a strong feeling that something bad is about to happen.

Griffin Rampart.

He was among the crowd of pirates waiting for the announcement. He believed himself to be a newcomer to the Marines and a surprise guest to the mysterious events. Glancing around he spotted several wanted crews. A few of them more infamous but most were small fish just hoping to survive. He placed his limp hand on the hilt of his sword underneath the cover of his cloak, the act so small that it would go unnoticed by normal eyes. He strode even closer to the stage but was content to remain between several others to mask his presence.

I hope they make this quick. I'm not use to waiting, he whispered in his thoughts.

With practiced movements he pulled his pack of cigarettes from his leather belt and stuck a stick between his lips. As usual he hesitated with lighting it, the words of his mentor entering his ears. "Those things will kill before a enemy will my boy." He lit it anyway then placed everything back in its respective pouches. He tugged on the stick with his lungs than exhaled a thin wisp of pseudo-poison.

"Perhaps," he admitted to himself, his wrist falling back to its place on his hilt.

Elmusk was one of many Marines being sent to Logue Town because of the rumors about the "Silver Eyes" performing some kind of test there. Unlike most of the other Marines on the ship he was stationed on, he had no interest in arresting the famous crew despite their high bounty, instead he was planning on going after "The Rovers of The West". Sure The Rovers were only a small crew with low bounties, but in West Blue they were known for attacking merchant ships and generally killing everyone on board.

Since he didn't have anything to until they arrived at the Polestar Island Elmusk decided to kill the time by practicing some moves. Naturally he didn't actually use his spear since he didn't want to accidentally hurt someone, instead he used a staff the same size and weight.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Zerry was simply waiting until the start of the meeting and in the meantime checking out the possible competition. It was of course hard to tell who was there for the test and who was just a regular tourist, but the Fishman didn't care. After all it was just something to kill the time with and he would find out soon enough either way.

The crowd came in masses. The town flooded in only hours and the piers had too many boats then they knew what to do with them. The Silver Eyes watched over all the people of the town. The little girl turned to the purple haired leader and said in the most childish and sweet little voice, "Drakiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee. I'm boredddddddddddd. Can't we have fun!." A huge innocent smile painted across her face. "And there is marines undercover too." She added, almost all childish gone and as serious as possible. "I know. We better hurry. Although I don't see any big name Marines, so none would try to arrest us unless they're stupid or a hotshot who thinks taking us will promote him. Alright, here goes..." Drake cleared his throat and in a big open voice, "ATTENTION PEOPLE!" He screamed, as the yellow haired pirate, Ray, shot off 2 rounds into the sky. All eyes on them. Drake continued,

"Many of you have come here today out of curiosity. Why has a big crew such as us publicly announce our presence with the dangers of the marines coming? Because this is a message that all pirates need to hear. Monkey D. Luffy, The pirate king, is missing."

He let that sink into them, pausing momentarily before starting again.

"Although he tole me this the last time we met. The ultimate prize, One-Piece is hidden once again. The grand quest shall once again start."

Pausing again, cheers could be heard.

"We, The Silver Eyes, Declare the grand quest for the One-Piece... Once again, Started!" As Drake said this the applause and cheering was unbearable. He continued, "And to start this quest off, we have a problem." The crowd, dying down. "We have some undercover marines here, I suggest, form you're crews quickly and leave." The small little girl turned to Drake, "Here we go. You were right, hotshot." As she said that, a young male, medium build, brown hair screamed up to The Silver Eyes, "You're all under arrest!" Drake turned to Ray and nodded. Almost as quickly as the marine showed up, Ray shot 4 bullets at him, 1 for each arm and leg. Marines who were undercover broke out, starting a fight. Pirates vs marines, but that's not all. pirates started attacking each other. The Silver Eyes still maintained there position at the execution stand and watched the brawl happen.

One of Bristlebane's eyes reluctantly popped open at the sound of gunshots. It seemed the top dogs were talking, something about finding One Piece. Well that sounded exciting, then some idiot popped up and got himself shot. AFter that everything broke into havoc, fights breaking out everywhere without any sides to be found. He quickly scampered up the mountain of crates he had behind him narrowly dodging someone who attempted to tackle him and made his way to a roof overlooking the massive brawl, what great fun, Bristlebane thought as he watched randomly cheering for poeple.

Remy was just making his way back, bags laden with fish, when he noticed people running past him screaming about pirates. Loguetown had always had a reputation for attracting pirates, but most of them were smart enough not to cause any trouble on their way through to the Grand Line. He stopped in the street and closed his eyes. Were those gunshots he heard? And screams? What kind of ruckus was going on exactly? Well, whatever it was he was sure the Marines would handle it.

It was then he heared another sound. Running feet. Many, many, many running feet. Remy opened his eyes and found himself totally alone in the street, everyone else having smartly vacated it while he'd been listening. At least, that's what he thought before turning around and seeing a solid wall of white bearing down on him.

The Marines. Right on time.

He started running. It was all he could do to avoid being trampled. As he ran he screamed, and they must have taken this as the start of a battle cry because they started screaming too. So by the time they reached the Execution Plaza Remy was in the lead of a screaming horde of Marines all amped up to deal out some justice, and the huge dude with the spear and the even huger headdress that Remy was running toward did not take kindly to this. He raised his weapon over his head and brought it crashing down on the boy.

Remy wasn't there though. The big guy looked somewhere between bewildered and enraged as Remy landed on his weapon and ran over it, and his arm, and his shoulder, with all the apparent effort of someone taking a jog in the park. The "Pardon" Remy left him with as he jumped off his shoulder did nothing to assuage his anger, but as he turned to pursue the boy he was immediately dogpiled by three Marines. All along that side of the plaza the sounds of battle intensified as soldiers continued to pour in.

Yeah...this wasn't good. It seems that the Marines thought anyone who wasn't one of them was a Pirate, because apparently the idea of a local coming here out of simple curiosity was just impossible. So when a group of Marines started charging at him, declaring him under arrest, he panicked. While his mother had gotten skilled enough with their devil fruit to only change parts of her body if she wanted to, Jonathan had no such skill. So his only means of defense also happened to draw a lot of attention to him, much to his chagrin. Calling upon the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu's power, he changed into his hybrid form. While it's full transformation made him grow by a large amount, it's hybrid one only added a few feet to him, as well as changing the proportions of his arms and legs to match that of the full form (giving him massive arms and tiny legs), as well as giving his body the same golden skin as the full form. His transformation complete, he thrusted his arm out to knock back the Marines coming at him. However, the this also unbalanced him, and he fell flat on his face. With that Marines after him occupied however briefly, he reverted to his normal form to escape. "Not good! I knew there had to be Marines somewhere here, I just knew it!" He took shelter in a nearby alleyway, hiding behind a crate "I'm in so much trouble!"

Zerry had listened to the speech without getting up. "So that's why they called us, that crew could easily have gone after One Piece but they gave us all a chance." When the part about the undercover Marines was mentioned though he got up, knowing he would probably end up in a fight either way. However rather than rush into battle he decided to look around and see if he could see anyone who might potentially be an ally. After a while he noticed a kid turn into a golden giant before escaping into an alley.

Thinking that someone with that power should be useful, even if they didn't seem to want to fight, he ran in their direction. Of course as a Fishman he drew a lot of unwanted attention of Marines and pirates alike. Most of them didn't want to fight him, though one pirate carrying an axe challenged him. "Never seen a fish with legs before, let me fix that." As the pirate said he swung his weapon aiming at Zerry's waist. Luckily the attack was telegraphed and using both hand the Fishman managed to block the attack by grabbing the axe's shaft. Catching his opponent by surprise he wrapped his tentacles around his arm and injected his poison. While the pirate was screaming it out from the pain he let go of the axe and punched him right in the gut knocking him out."Five Tile True Punch!" With that out of the way he continued running in the direction of the alley.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Elmusk had just arrived on the island when he saw a large crowd of people panicking over something. Without thinking he ran in the opposite direction, ignoring everyone he wasn't sure was a pirate. He would rather let a couple of them escape than accidentally attack a civilian. However when he saw a girl with a rapier threaten someone, he figured that pirate or not she probably had a criminal record."Listen up, I'm giving you one warning. Lay down your weapon and surrender or I will use force."

Naturally the girl didn't didn't listen and ignored her victim to attack Elmusk. The Marine managed to deflect her blade using his weapon ,and fought back with his own attack. He quickly thrust his spear and hit her in the arm, making sure to do only enough damage that she wouldn't be able to fight anyone for a while. Knowing she was defeated the girl dropped her weapon and Elmusk ordered one the many Marines to arrest her and lock her up in either one of the ships or the Marine base.

Holy hell, they're starting a new pirate age, he thought with awe, though even his inner voice sounded calm.

He took a deep drag of his cigarette before throwing it to the ground and snuffing out the cancerous mixture. Surrounded by small fry and big fry alike, Griffin only eyes for the centerpiece of the attraction. The Silver Eyes were almost as famous as the Straw Hats and just as slick when it came to getaways. Amiss the chaos and riot, Griffin swayed quietly towards the platform, a shadow in the mess that was barely recognizable.

Before long he appeared on the stairs of the platform and with a faint smile greeted the Silver Eyes. "As slick as a snake they say and as furious as a Sea King. I wouldn't have imagined you'd show yourself so willingly to the world and with a kind gesture in tow no less. You must be ready to be taken in for your crimes," he told them, his hand finely on the hilt of his blade. "Let's kick off the new age with your imprisonment. And the spotlight on a new arrival to the scene."

"Hahaha! So that's what this was about!" Rem laughed loudly with a confident look on his face, unconcerned about the rapidly increasing number of marines. He was curious as to why such legendary pirates would decide to hold a meeting in Loguetown of all places! But it would be a lie to say that the meeting was the only reason he showed up. Rem already had several goals in mind before he had even decided. He wanted to recruit new people and officially form his own pirate crew, a task that he had no worries about. But even more interestingly, he also wanted to go atop the execution platform and see the view! He had already decided that it would be where he died. As future pirate king, it was only natural for him to see the view before setting off on his journey! But lastly, he wanted to challenge the Silver Eyes!

Rem made his move, several marine bullets flew through the air, each one just barely missing him. He grinned widely, showing off his yellow teeth! As he made his way through the crowd of pirates and marines alike, he noticed two people that intrigued him. One was another man that looked to be around his own age, he grew to become what seemed to be a giant made of gold! "That's so cool!" He looked in awe of the giant before he reverted back into his original form and ran off into the alley. The other person was a fishman that had just done some amazing moves!

Wow! So many awesome people! Those two'll definitely be in my crew! I'll have to find them when I finish up here! Rem continued fighting throw the enemies, his brute strength being more than enough to put the majority of them down with a punch. He reached the platform, along with another man! By the sound of it, the man was a marine planning to arrest the Silver Eyes! But he didn't pay much mind to him, even if the man seemed really interesting, especially for challenging one of the strongest crews of the last pirate age, he had no interest in marine.

"Oi! Silver Eyes!" Rem called out to them, a confident grin on his face. "Get off the platform and fight me! I'll kick the crap out of you!" He said, practically screaming! The purple-haired man seemed especially interesting, but he had no qualms about taking them all on at the same time!

Never did the thought that he was biting off more than he could chew cross his mind.

Pirates. The plaza was full of pirates. Why was the plaza full of pirates!?

"Excuse me." He yelled as he dodged past one guys wild punch. "Pardon me." He screamed as he limboed under the swing of a pirates sword without losing any speed. "Sorry." He wailed, sliding under the strike of a Marine. Seems they couln't tell the civilians from the pirates out here. He couln't really blame them, the plaza was full of pirates. What sort of absolute moron would be running around out here while this was going on, he thought as he ran around amidst the melee clutching his shopping bags for dear life.

At least until a pirate came flying out of nowhere, bowling him over and sending the contents of the bags flying through the air. He watched from the ground as fish, vegetables, and a bottle of olive oil dances through the sky.

He was a bad cook. He was a really bad cook. But if he let even one of those ingredients fall upon the ground, he wouldn't even be able to call himself that. He'd just be bad.

It was sheer luck that the shield rolled up right then, dropping from the hand of its owner a few feet away as he fell, char broiled by the pirate he'd been fighting. Remy took the shield in both hands and gave it a little spin as he threw it. It spun up under the ingredients before stopping, hanging in the air a moment to catch every last one, before beginning its descent. Well, the loose ones anyway. The bottle was still falling, but by that time Remy was already up. He caught the shield, still spinning,on and outstretched finger while the oil he carefully caught on the tip of his foot befor kicking it up into his other hand.

A pinpoint sense of balance. The little joke of his existence.

He wasn't out of danger yet though, as he heard a deep intake of breath beside him. He looked over to see the pirate from before bringing his lips up to a lit match. He intended to fry Remy along with all the ingredients he'd just saved. That was going to far! Remy decided right then that he was going to cook for this man. He dropped the oil back onto his foot as he shook the shield, sending the ingredient flying back into the air. He dropped down to the ground, scooping up a dagger dropped by the pirate who had bowled him over, wiping it on his vest as he rose up, and swiftly using it to de-bone the fish and chop the vegetables. The whole lot was prepared as in fell back into the shield, and he kicked the oil back into his hand, popped the cork, and dumped some into the shield. As the pirate let loose with a stream of flame from his lips he threw this maleshift wok pot to meet it, balancing it at an angle on the fire.

This was the result of years and years of practice as he reached out with the dagger and began stirring the contents of the shield. As the flame began to die down he ripped off his apron and wond it around his other hand, reaching out and grabbing the shield by its edge as it fell. Anyone watching would think they hand just seen a master chef in actions, but only if they wern't close enough to get a whiff.

A suddent, awful smell pervaded the air around Remy as he looked into the contents of the shield before flinching away from it. The pirate held his nose and opened up his mouth, which gave Remy the opertunity to flick some sort of black/brown mess into his mouth. His eyes shot open as his face drained of all color, then turned green, then became a nasty shade of yellow. He clutched at his throat, tried to scream, settled for a gurgle, then his eyes rolled back into his head he he fell to the ground, foaming at the mouth.

He'd seen it happen before. He'd been counting on it happening this time. It still felt like a kick in the pants.

He became aware that the sounds of battle had lessoned in the area, he he glanced around to see a lot of the combatants holding their noses. Those that weren't still halfhartedly swinging their weapons while turning three shades of green were looking at him. He felt like he should say something.

"Today's Chefs Special," he began, dejectedly brandishing his concoction like a weapon, "is his world famous, highly renowned Stir Felony. Please form a orderly line if you wish to be served."

No one seemed willing to take him up on that offer.

The Silver Eyes

Two people have just ignored the bustling crowd below and went straight for the big fish, The Silver Eyes. Fighting was not their initial intention, but if they were asking for it, they needed to be put in there place. First off, this new marine here, wanting to take them in. Elvira stood in front of Drake. Her childish behavior completely left her, not a single trace of it was left. Her face, lost all emotion. She stared the marines in the eyes while reaching and drawing her sword. She didn't blink and she didn't waver, she showed nothing. Her tone in her voice indicated that playtime was indeed over, "We didn't come here to fight you. One more step and you'll be cut down before another breath leaves you're body."

After that threat another pirate came running up, some pirate thinking he's gonna be the next pirate king. He too wanted to fight. Drake went to open his mouth but a hand struck out. "Don't bother with such unnecessary fits," Ray said, with a little smile. "Besides, we need pirates for the grand quest. He wont die." he added. He turned to the pirate, "You can fight me, if Drake and I fight that's way to unfair for you. 'IF' you can defeat me, Drake's all yours." He continued, emphasizing the IF and ushering to Drake. Drake gave a little wave. Ray walked next to Elvira, who still hasn't left eye contact with her marine. They get ready, hunched down, ray added, "Last chance you two. Go back now." He looked at the marine, "Im not gonna kill my pirate mate, but my sis here, she may just kill you, marine."

Griffin Rampart.

He let out a soft groan as the little girl stepped forward with a unnerving amount of ill intent. She was perhaps the smallest of the group and to him, out of the three, the weakest. If he had a choice he would have preferred Ray or Drake before her, hoping to actually spare the small child but of course fate would put her in front of him. A test of his overall conviction he figured.

"Fine," he stated, ripping off the cloak he was wearing to reveal the custom Marine outfit he wore and Nidai Kitetsu hanging at his waist.

"Elvira "Chibi" Foy of the Silver Eyes, meet the new generation." He pulled the inky katana from its sheathe, a song of silver rung, his stale gaze steadily on Foy encase the pirate staid true to the general reputation. She was short and slim, so it was safe to think that she had speed and agility on her side. But it didn't appear she was use to direct hand-to-hand combat and her strength was probably far less than his own.

I think she's a devil fruit user though. Damn, I should have paid more attention to the documents. Either way, its clear that I can get her to attack first. All I have to do is take one more step and let my instincts guide me like usual. He tensed his strong jaws before taking a casual step forwards. Let's see if the old man's training actually paid off.

Elvira vs Griffin: Devil Fruit?

The word 'Chibi' rang in Elvira's ears and her mind. Her stare didn't change except for a slight twitch. Ray looked at the marine, "Now you've done it mate, she may have let you live, but now..." He didn't finish his sentence, he merely looked at the pirate he was about to fight and said, "We should take this somewhere else." Before waiting for an answer he jumped off the top and landed on the ground, waiting for his opponent. The marine took a step and Elvira dash forward at lightning speed, then she vanished into thin air. She reappeared right at the marines leg, going for a slash across his leg.

His brow raised in confusion at Ray's words. What exactly was that suppose to mean? That was her moniker after all, she had created a reputation as a pirate and she was but a small child, it was to be expected. Still though, he was surprised none the less by Elvira's disappearance. She was fast but he would have a caught glimpse of her if it was speed alone.

No, she wasn't so fast that she would vanished. Something else was at work.

Still without his stance he felt a shift in the air near him and as quick as possible brought his katana to bear the strike against his leg. The clang of metal was mute in the loud chaos but he was quick to backpedal away from the girl. His last retreating step was only a feint as he effortlessly flip through the air and came down where Elvira was, his katana ready to intercept most strikes towards his torso but more so ready to slam down towards her small frame.

Just as she did before she vanished, she came back into sight, a mere two or three meters up the stairs. She gave the cold dead look at him, her breathing was calm and so was she. She looked at her hands, her weapon was missing. She looked back at the marine and dashed once again, as if she still had a sword in her hands she was at his neck...

He landed with a swirl of dust. She had vanished again and now he felt like he was starting to understand the situation. He looked around himself with caution, slashing his katana around before realizing she had appeared on the stairs. He fixed a cold stare on before realizing her blade was gone from her hand. He would have trusted it if he nagging feelings wasn't prodding him.

Better be safe just in case, he told himself, keeping his guard sharp.

Griffin was able to keep track of her this time so he quick to lift his blade in defense of his neck. He felt the essence of a blade in her hand, the grip she was holding thin air with was too reminiscent. Again his blade clanged against her and he leaned his neck back, staring down the girl.

"Invisibility," he commented to her with a half-smirk. "Your Devil Fruit power is invisibility. Impressive bu-" He said but was interrupted by the war cry of another.

An old withered pirate came charging up the stairs, too many days in the sun. Elvira and Griffins blade swung into the old pirate, killing him almost instantly. She pulled her sword from his chest, blood dripping off the air. Blood was across her face. Griffin looked at the dead pirate and back Elvira, well, where she was. She was already back at the top of the stairs, sword sheathed and Drake wiping the blood off her.

Griffin could hear the blood from his katana splatter against the ground. She was better than he thought she was but he had no doubt in his mind that if they had continued, she would have been caught and arrested. He'd have to apply for seastone cuffs once he got back to headquarters or else he'd lose her eventually.

He fixed his gaze on her and Drake. "I'll let you go this time," he spoke out, sheathing his katana. "Only because your announcement has only made my stage all the grander. Be ready to here my name a lot on your journeys." He turned his back to them and begun to walk away through the crowd. He could tell he wasn't completely ready to face the three of them. At least not together.

Drake over looked this marine, he had no doubt his name will be recurring again. What was it again? Griff- Geff- Miff- Muffen? Thats right, Muffen was this marines name, kind of strange Drake thought to himself.
