So. Yeah, the title says it all. Since I'm actually starting to be "fluent" in Latin, I was thinking it might be fun to hone my skills further by doing an RP entirely in the Latin language. Any plot that you guys want, as long as it doesn't require terribly elaborate posts (Hence I marked the RP as "Free.")
I'd only have one rule, if this actually got off the ground. No google translate. I don't care how bad at the language you are, but you've got to try to translate it on your own. It doesn't matter if you post five words or five paragraphs, as long as you've done the translation on all of it. That being said, I have no objection to Wiktionary if you need to look up a word or case or whatever. Heaven knows that's what I do.
If it gets to be terribly confusing, we can write our Latin posts and then also put an English translation of them along with our posts.
Anyway... This idea has been bouncing around in my head for ages. I'm starting to think I should have just ignored it. Still, if anyone is interested, I'd absolutely love to do this.

But I took four years of Latin, and this sounds interesting. Wish I hadn't lost my English-Latin dictionary my teacher gave me, but I do have an online college dictionary bookmarked.

As far as grammar goes, I'm going to have so many mistakes that it's not even funny. I'm only in Latin 3 and that's only high-school level. So don't worry about it.
Also, because I'm having serious issues sight-reading... Is that saying that time is threatening your studies of the language? Or something else entirely?

... Are you really accusing me of having a drunken fantasy? For starters, I'm underage and legally can't drink. And, I wouldn't call it a fantasy, be it drunken or sober, when at least three people show interest before my interest check turns even one day old.

Soldiers are cool, but I'd rather not do anything too battle-centric... maybe a century of roman soldiers who were assigned to guard a city that is a recent conquest and still not accepting of Roman rule?

I once read a book about a Latin school it was a teen supernatural though although I cannot recall the title, it was a very interesting book, I must say it was a two-parter

YES. I had to google it because of how narrow my historical knowledge is. But. YES, this would be awesome. Would require A LOT of research though.
