They're getting in the way. And with the pathetic tech you're allowed to use you can't pull off the plans you want. All those weak defenses of your failures... They're transparent. Antarctica, Post-Slam In the midst of wreckage consisting of ruined mechs and a devastated outpost stood a man garbed in grey robes. His face is as white as the snow surrounding him, and has the appearance of a young man in his early twenties, but the eyes belong to one unimaginably older. As for what used to be his enemies, they sought an object of power, undoubtedly heard from several widespread rumors. What they found is one who does not take kindly to being hunted. A show of force is the only way such people can be answered, though he did not unveil his powers to the point that other, more formidable parties would immediately take notice. However, he sensed that there is another fast approaching from above. His eyes widen slightly, and has a small jolt of alarm, wondering if one of them has already found him. But no, he quickly realized, it couldn't be. The approaching presence, while similar to their kind, is of a far lesser degree. He decides to confront whatever this entity might be. _________ As Starscream descends upon Earth, his sensors detect great releases of energy. They appear to come from what the humans called Antarctica. His curiosity getting the better of him, he speeds towards there. By the time he arrives, he finds a robed human surrounded by ash-colored husks of machinery and a totaled military base. Starscream transforms into his robot form as he lands, and makes an audible thud when touching the ground. "So, you are not one of them after all," the mystery man immediately says. Before he can say another word, Starscream cut in, "What are you talking about? Who are you? Did you do this all by yourself?" "Yes, I did do this, but only out of defense. As for what I'm talking about and who I am, I'll answer the latter first since it's a very short answer. "I am Ophiuchus."

The name sounded somewhat familiar to Starscream. His mind drifts back to what he knew of Earth culture and remembers the astrological signs. Yes, one of the zodiac. "The 13th sign? Is it an alias of some sort?" "No, it's who I am, Cybertronian. I am one of the Zodiac Gods." Starscream's expression shifted into slight puzzlement. "What would a god be doing on this planet then? Better yet, why would you have been waiting for me? At the very least, it seemed like you were waiting for something." "It's simple. I'm hiding. Your energy signature happened to be similar to my pursuers', but different enough that I thought to stay and find out what you might be. I have my answer." "Hiding from what?" "My former brethren, the other twelve. They were enslaved by someone or something, I don't know who or what, and they have hounded me at any opportunity. They have been somehow turned into sapient machine entities, much like your kind is. By the time I saw what happened, it was too late. I never witnessed how it all occurred." Shame then marked Ophiuchus's face, and slightly hunched as if to add to his defeated expression. Starscream pitied the man, or god as he calls himself, but he's wondering more about his similarity to these beings who were or still are hunting this Ophiuchus, undoubtedly desiring to turn him into whatever they are now. "Do you have any idea why I'd give off a similar signature to them?" "I honestly don't. You are probably the first Cybertronian I've seen with their kind of energy." Could this have something to do with those flashes he was getting? However, he has the feeling this self-professed deity wouldn't know, so Starscream keeps this query to himself. However, another question comes to his mind. "Why choose Earth of all places to hide in? Surely you know by now how chaotic it can get here, furthering the chances of drawing attention to yourself." "Earth is one of the remotest planets I know. Plus, all the noise in this world actually makes it the best place to hide in. There are numerous factions tearing at each others' throats as we speak. Another added bonus is my former brethren being likely busy with establishing territories in far-off worlds. They've hunted me less frequently as I kept hopping from world to world and I have heard rumors of their exploits. A backwater like Earth wouldn't concern them for quite some time. "Oh, and a parting gift." Ophiuchus raises his right arm, his palm pointed directly toward Starscream. Before the Cybertronian could take a defensive measure, a beam of light shot out from his hand, directly hitting him. "There, that should awaken some of your latent power. I feel you can be trusted." Ophiuchus then disappears in a flash of light, leaving Starscream wondering what just happened, since he feels no different.

Sideways traveled to the docks the Headman was using to transport his drugs. One of the headhunters witnessed Sideways approaching aware of the stories of a rogue riderless motorcycle attacking dealers "RAID!" The Headhunters began scrambling to their stations "Whoah guys I'm just here to talk a bit" "W-whattya want? I mean what the fuck does a talking bike even need?" The scared Headhunter mumbled Why I just want to help you guys out over a rival. You interested? "W-We need to run this over to the boss." "Sure take your time, I'm on your side after all" Sideways said before crackling sinisterly * * * Gristle arrived via motorboat to see what was holding up his drug shipment. He witnessed a purple and yellow robot modifying his savages sent to guard the shipment. "Hey what the hell? Who the hell are you?" "Oh I'm just a local decepticon who's taken intrest in your little drug war. I decided to give away some upgrades in a show of good faith. Allow me to give you a demonstration" The Decepticon snapped his robotic fingers and the Savage turned and pointed into the sky. The Savage fired a beam that not only pierced the moon but went straight through it. "Holy hell, we could rule the entire world with this kind of power." "That's not my problem I just want you guys to take out these chumps chasing me in return" Sideways said nonchalantly "Sure." Gristle replied

Annoyed by this insult from his prey he began the chase. "You will pay for that smartass. All of you, AFTER HIM! And when I catch you I shall enjoy extracted that power from you the most painful way possible." Breaking into another fit of maniacal laughter as he planned his revenge.

In a faraway universe...

There exists a planet of machinery and circuitry, completely composed of metal down to its very core. It has consumed entire worlds at several points, leaving them as shattered corpses, their remains scattered across space. Great gas giants, dwarfing their more solid brethren, weren't safe either. Tendrils of steel drained whatever resources existed within their misty surfaces. Even the stars themselves fell prey to it. Great machines, constructed from the pieces of the dead worlds it consumed, surrounded the suns it planned to devour, resembling a feasting swarm of locusts. They weren't fully drained, at least not instantly. The steel planet slowly leeched power from them, a steady consumption. It continued to expand its reach, going from little more than a dozen enslaved suns to eventually millions of subjugated stars. On the night skies of several billion worlds, the dimming of the stars was seen by their inhabitants. Those advanced enough to truly see what was happening were both amazed and horrified at the scale of it all. To them, it was as if a god reached out and blotted out their skies.

However, beneath all of this metal and wires and silicon, lay a singular driving will responsible for the mechanical world's all-consuming hunger. This consciousness was once flesh and bone, though still godlike compared to most anything in the universe. He had destroyed entire worlds and the people foolish enough to step into his path were wiped out as if they had never been. Until one day on an insignificant backwater planet, a monkey with an aura of gold defeated him utterly, sending him into that planet's sun. He had to thank the fool though, since if it wasn't for that debacle, his apotheosis would have never occurred. There was no better way to display gratitude than turning the monkey, along with the prince of primates, as batteries to power his great body. They are now empty husks, and have been so for the longest time, but that no longer matters when the stars themselves are under his command. His power was not the only aspect which increased, however. When he takes a world, he takes everything from it, including their technology. The knowledge he gained matched the energies powering him. With this knowledge, he will soon have the power to cross over to new universes. He will send his avatars, silver androids shaped like his former self, to these worlds as he did to other planets before and sweep away all resistance, taking delight in the inhabitants' horrified expressions, for there is still enough left of his past self to do so.

Soon, nothing will be out of reach.

"The thing about Sideways is the longer things go on the more he starts backstabbing everyone and pissing them all off. He even managed to repeat this after the Unicron Singularity made everyone forget the first time he did it. Only so many times you can keep switching sides going wait, I'm on your side before people start calling bullshit."

As soon as Brainwave finished his reply a laser streaked across the sky and pierced the moon. Everyone stopped for a moment to stare at the event.

"Well if he's going to start pulling nonsense on that scale it's not going to take long before people start catching on. Or they'll be dead. Either way our problems seem on course to start solving themselves."

Megatron considered the situation and smirked. "If you want to have all his side changing catch up with him destroying that laser will be a good first step. It will be taking his bait but when it isn't quite the way he expected he will start fuming."

"Interesting..." The Transtech began computing possible methods of disabling the weapon without revealing themselves. "Perhaps we can have Rastun use his time slow to deliver a collection of mini drones housing some extremely powerful micro explosives that will destroy the lasers power supply and perhaps even the fools operating it."

Chuckling Megatron provided an alternate plan. "Why not use the least conspicuous, most expendable person here to deliver the devices?"

"A brilliant plan Royalty!" Chimed Inferno before he realized everyone was staring at him. Slowly he began to realize the plan.

"Isn't it just?"

Gristle while awed by his new gift wondered if this is what it took to fight whoever's chasing his new benefactor it would be more safe to take a safe distance away.

"Alright Headmen be sure to follow sideways directions I'm gonna take care of the delivery"

After a bit of disagreement and some confusion over exactly where the trunk on a Lamborghini is located Inferno sped to the location of the laser weapon in a manor that didn't befit a stealth mission. Being a Predacon he didn't exactly care how much chaos he caused carrying out his mission he just wanted to get the bombs out of his frame as soon as possibly. Memories of all his most painful defeats in the Beast Wars ringing in his mind. The problem with running all the red lights and driving on sidewalks at high speed is it makes one look rather suspicious so as he approached the target the drug gang proceeded to open fire on him.

"Oh this is just my luck. It's a simple mission they said, if you're careful they won't even notice you they said."

Fortunately the guards hadn't expected his level of acceleration and were thus wildly inaccurate. Pulling right up to the defense wall out of their firing arcs he briefly stopped to deploy the drones before speeding off again. Once again his unexpected speed making him near impossible to hit. He was a couple of blocks away when he heard a series of explosions rock the area. Pleased with his success he called Megatron to report.

"Royalty, good news!"

It was at this moment he noticed a massive explosion heading his way. "Oh no..." As the blast wave caught up to him it sent him flying through the air spiraling head over heel for several blocks. Transforming on impact he continued flipping until he smashed into a large building. Looking back while lying on his back it was clear the detonation had level at least 5 blocks in every direction. Inferno's Predacon nature got the best of him and he proceeded to laugh at the destruction.

Carbombya- Weather report: Cloudy with a chance of mountains

The republic of Carbombya had been overtaken by the prince of destructa since a few days/hours ago. From the looks of things, the prince was quite a strong individual, able to subjugate a military juggernaut like carbombya by himself. The reports fro mthe city had been cut off since a while ago, restricted by the new ruler's iron fist. However, a singular object approached carbombya from deep orbit, catching nothing less than fire as it hurtled through the atmosphere. Said object was a piece of the Sickly Imouto Hospital Transport Ship's hull, which crash-landed in the middle of the carbombyan gathering to worship their new ruler.

The next object that smashed down into the republic was more..odd, and quite mountain shaped to boot...wait...a mountain? Said mountain smashed into the ground, and on top of it rested the GodZanger mech, arms crossed as if judging the innocent people beneath it. "Prince of destructa! I've come here to challenge you!" A voice blared from the robot's communication systems as the cockpit opened up and revealed the Martial Artist Yin Feilong, quite sober and sporting a scraggly beard on his face. "I also demand a shaving razor, this beard I grew while stuck in that dimensionally isolated bar is annoying me!"

Shanghai:

The group was listening to the reports of Inferno's exploits.

"Approximately 15 minutes ago a bizarre event occurred. An unknown fire department vehicle sped down several city streets and high speeds. When traffic got too thick it proceeded to drive over sidewalks knocking over all manor of trees and vending machines. It is unclear how it was undamaged from this. As a result of this mad driving several dozen people were injured. Paying no heed to traffic lights it also clipped 5 vehicles causing massive pile ups and backing up traffic for what will likely be hours. Eventually it seemingly pulled up to a suspected drug gang warehouse where eye witnesses say the unknown laser was fire from nearly an hour ago. After briefly stopping in front of it the unknown vehicle sped off once again followed by a series of small explosions and one massive one resulting in the damage you see behind me."

Everyone stared in minor annoyance as the camera panned over the devastation.

Rastun grumbles in frustration over the news report. This is absurd, how many cities are they going to ruin before they get something done? The only bright side to all of this is that it's nowhere near as bad as the Carbombya debacle. Frankly, he doubts that could be topped and hopefully it never will be. Nonetheless, this recent Shanghai event is giving him a headache.

"I know a little collateral damage here and there can't be helped, but it looks like we're not even trying to keep it down. Though I suppose this is more on Inferno than the rest of us."
