The technology of Crypso is akin to the High Middle Ages, about twelfth or thirteenth century. Gunpowder has not been discovered, but that isn't to say your kingdom can't strive to pursue something similar through alchemy.

Quick question: If one wanted to pursue, say, an expansion of trade with another player, it would naturally require the other player's approval. But should it first be brought up in a private discussion with said player and the conclusion later posted in a Diplomatic order, or should it be announced as part of a diplomatic order, with negotiations then commencing in a private conversation?

Kingdom of Generica Trade Pact

The Kingdom of Generica proposes a trade pact with the Generic Empire to purchase excess iron, leather, and lumber for gold not exceeding market price. The undersigned agree upon their honour to act accordingly to this agreement, and share in resources and gold for their mutual benefit. Cancelation of the pact may be enforced by any party should they feel their best interest is no longer held by aforementioned trade.
