@supertinykingThe Voidwalker's eye seemed to fragment, a series of tiny purple plates covering it's surface. A series of portals, linked to seperate angles through which the Voidwalker could see her opponents, as well as their movement. An awareness of the field of battle, through which she would support her allies and weaken her enemies. After all, it was in the art of manipulating the battlefield that her power would truly shine.
Even as Lisa rushed forward, she found a portal opening in front of her. Had it merely been a portal, it would have been easy to dodge. However, what appeared to be a wheel made of mud crashed through it at high speed, smashing into Lisa. Normally, the flames that made up her form would simply have moved aside from the kinetic force of the blow, but the Mudman's magic-nullifying capabilities made him an excellent projectile, preventing her from releasing her physical form as she was thrown backwards. The mudman, attempting to stand once more, instantly dropped out of sight as a portal opened beneath his feet.
The Mudman appeared some distance in the air, only to be transported once more. Gravity accelerating him as he remained in the air, never touching the portal to break it, only moving through the middle. The Voidwalker seemed to twitch, observing the entire battlefield at once, as she made her next tactical decision, supporting her allies from afar. Even as Ozzy's blades rushed towards her face at immense speed, they seemed to strike nothing but air. The Voidwalker had already moved to a different location, teleporting away mere inches from death.
Cosmos stopped flying, as he gathered his wits once more. His enemy had been moved away, the threat to him had faded. The being that had mere moments ago seemed to threaten his very existence was now nothing more than a playtoy for the Voidwalker. She was doing her job, as she always did - loyal little bitch. But he would need to do his part. Once more, he concentrated on the layers of enchantment layered into the ground, and resumed his quiet casting. From the beginning, his only real job had been to dismantel the base structure of this dimension - as if that was such an easy task - and provide 5 with the power it needed.
Freed from interruptions, the Archmage looked down upon the sigils so plainly visible to him, carved into the very fabric of reality. A spell intertwined with the magic of creation, but not indistinguishable from it. And as he moved his hands, the figures moved, shifting, even the slightest alteration shattering their meaning.
The air seemed to change, the very atmosphere seemed to shift. Ozzy felt his power fading, as the boost provided by his realm began to be drawn away from him. Soon, he would be at base strength. And then, no doubt, the full buff would be channelled into 5. With control over all the souls in Ozzy's Realm, the Collector of Souls would become an unstoppable force.
Flames flashed past, blades sliced through air and flesh as two figures shot past one another. With a soft thump, the severed arm dropped to the ground. Blood spurted from the remaining stump, as Bahamut staggered backwards, screaming in pain from the sudden attack. But then, after only a few seconds, the bleeding stopped. The arm seemed to spasm on the ground, still grasping the blade. And yet, the Bounty Hunter found himself stepping backwards. Not from any physical threat, but rather the sheer wave of killing intent that was seeping into the air, an air of authority, a glance that could kill.
"You... you would dare mar me? To leave such a scar upon ME?" The hordes of dragons in the sky twist and turn, flowing towards Bahamut, who is growing continuously hotter. "You would dare stand before me, and proclaim yourself a warrior? To proclaim yourself to be on equal footing with ME? You maggot! I will crush you!" Hundreds of dragons flow down, dissolving in the air. Liquid flame pours around him, covering the figure of Bahamut, flowing into his mout, eyes and nostrils. His mask shatters, as his armour is reformed around him. A new arm forms, covered in bright red and gold scales to match the armour. And the very ground starts melting from Bahamut's presence, the Bounty Hunter's clothes catching fire from proximity.
The face revealed was a familiar one, or it would have been had the Bounty Hunter been around for longer.
Holding up the new limb, the Dragon Emperor smiles. "I will crush you into dust."
