Ayame

The small footsteps hastily sounded throughout the street. People turned around when they heard the footsteps and questioned what was going on. A small girl in silky robes ran through the streets with her orange mixed hair wildly dancing behind her. Her thin arms clutched a small loaf of bread to her chest with a terrified look on her face. Once she turned around the corner people started to move on again before loud stomping echoed along the street as a big fat baker attempted to chase after her. The man was already soaked through with sweat "Come back you-you brat..." He gasped after her, leaning on his knees he tried to catch his breath. The girl ran a few more blocks and finally ended up by a set of stairs down near the river. She squished herself through the metal bars and started running again under the city.

Only after a few more yards she stopped with running to look back a few times, if no one was following her. The small footsteps echoed through the sewers along with her somewhat tired breathing. This wasn't her first time having to run from some shop owner. It was the worst feeling in the world, still it helped her survive. She ended up at a round like room with metal fencing above the water. A small round wooden table was standing in the middle of the room with a light bulb hanging above it. To the side of the room was a half ripped sleeping bag with two coats on top of it. She sat down on her knees at the table and laid the bread down. She then broke of a small portion and gulped it down her throat. It didn't have much taste but it would last about half a week.

This was her 4th month living in the city and it wasn't that great so to say. She has found this shelter to live about 2 weeks ago. She hasn't been able to find anyone nice either. Well she hasn't taken the courage to approache others. Quietly she munched down the rest of her portion for today and left through the hallway again outside. The big baker was no where to be found. She quietly entered the many streets of the city again just kinda keeping herself occupied throughout the day. She looked at some of the displays of the toy stores and all the clothes that passed by. Sometimes even someone would walk up to her and hand her some money but she just froze andran away without the money afterwards. It was not even that all the stores would let her in because she was covered in dirt and smelly. She hasn't washed herself for days. She quietly walked along some of the shopping streets in the city barefooted.

Zenoram/Zero

"Hm? Amaya?" Zenoram question as he tried to think about whether or not he knew somebody by that name. He didn't believe so. So what did the guildmaster mean in comparing him to this person? "Um... I'm not... Entirely..." He stopped. Had Master Jamie already deduced he was a dragon slayer. No... He wasn't. Zero was. But even so. To their knowledge there was only one other dragon slayer.

"So. She's here huh?"
"I guess so. But does this mean we can't go on the job.
"I don't know. I'll let you handle it for now though so I don't screw anything up."

Zenoram took a deep breath. "I... I'm not joining for the job. Karn hadn't even really told me about the job until after I decided to join." He said a bit nervous. "Um... If... If I need to... I'll let someone else take up the job so I can join without any problems."

"Woah... HEY! What are you doing?!"
"It's fine. Hemlock won't kill people if he thinks they're good. And we could always sneak out or something.
"You better be damn sure about this Zenoram."
"I am! I'm sure things will work out. And if not... You'll be there."

@Caits

Speaking og joining Ariel saw a good opportunity to ask about it as well. "I was actually planning to join. It was why I was here in Magnolia when all the craziness happened." She smiled brightly before she digging into the food. She hadn't realized just how much had been taken out of her. But she still wasn't a slob.

After eating she would probably have have to take a nap. Even before getting into a fight she had been walking for a while and hadn't had a nice bed to call home since leaving the last town.

Karn
Fiore || Magnolia || Phoenix Wing Guild
Interacting: Zenoram/Zero, Jamie

Karn curiously listened, pouting a little at Jamie's serious tone and Zenoram's more timid response. "It's true! Zenny seemed quite happy to join before realizing about this job. I just thought this would be the perfect one. A real dragon would be so cool to see, but if it's really a dragon, then the best one to go is a Dragonslayer right? So it might be one of the bests for Zenny and Zero-kun or Freeza. Maybe they could talk to it." the blonde chirped cheerfully.

None what he said was a lie. Either Zenoram and Zero or Amaya would be what he thought should go on a possible dragon mission. Though of course the poison slayer because it was his own father that was most likely the suspect in question in the flyer. Plus it would be fun to see Hemlock again. Though he did hope it didn't lead to a fight. Well, maybe for sparring, that would be fun, but Karn had a feeling he wouldn't stand much chance against Hemlock. Even if he unlocked the full power of his Chimera form.

Edolas ???'Karn'

"Never said I was 'Karn'and you must get used to such habits from transformation wizards. They are quite the Kings of being obnoxious. Well, minus a few exceptions." the blonde mused with a simple grin and shrug before humming.

"Indeed, and it was quite considerate of you to set her little brother's father on fire and burnt him alive and leaving the little boy with basically no parents. Well... Other than a mother who is quite ill. Probably will go through the same thing Karn did. But, it's alright. You won't remember that or this world's Karn anyway right?" she hummed, the nonchalant relaxed tone never fading as they smiled before grinning. "But, I'll do a nice little favor for the borrowing of her looks. Honor to experience the power of a Phoenix. Or be wiped from existence. One of the two depending how it goes." she hummed before watching Sasha then Mayt before chuckling.

"Mhmm I could. It's not so bad after reading a few books and spending some little time with them. But, you're the little heroes. I'm just tagging along. Hate to rip any new exciting knowledge from you. Never know when learning to steer something like this might come in handy." 'Edo-Karn' grinned as her sat down and stretched her arms before resting them behind her head.

Amaya watched Master Jamie waste no time getting Lucus taken care of. She kept near Lucus to observe him just incase. She watched Jamie move to Ariel before listening as Jamie's perception of her was off.

"Actually Master Jamie...I am here on the only thing I have to possibly find my mother...She suddenly went missing a year ago out of the blue..all I could find of what happened was a note she left telling me to join this guild..." She replied " I am also knew to everything...I been so isolated till a year ago...I am not good with this life yet..."she commented gently moving over to them but also keeping a close eye on their unconscious friend just incase

The Black glad figure turned towards Nero, leaving the frozen Ginger in place, ignoring, for now, Trinity, considering her nothing more then an interfering pest right then. They followed the pestering Genie back to the Mayford inn, at a causal, strolling pace, unconcerned that they might lose sight of Nero. They would be able to track the boy after all. As they turned, they didn't seem to notice a photograph falling out of their clothes, landing with a flutter on the pavement.

If anyone picked it up, they would see a handful of Phoenix Wing members, as they fought off one of the demons they had faced. Damian, James, Penny, Sasha, Lazarus. The picture was blurry, and appeared to be stained with what appeared to be blood, long dried to the colour of rust.

The figure, when they reached Nero, sighed softly. "I highly doubt the boy-I assume the bird is a boy-, will appreciate your positive influence, Nero. You are all show, no real power, and I bet the word Subtle isn't in your vocabulary. Although you do have an unique sense of moral judgement, you are nothing but a child, playing with magic. Such a shame. You could be great, you know. And all you have to do is think. Which, given your antics, I doubt will happen any time soon." The figure shook their head, tsking.

"Tsk, Tsk. You would do well to stay out of my way, and to not cause such commotion in my presence again. I have important duties to attend to, and I would rather not have some man-child ruining them" With barely another word, or indeed, sound, the figure turned, walking away. unmistakably towards the Phoenix Wing Guild hall. On their hand shone a mark, that could very well be a guild mark, as wall as...maybe something more sinister.

Sasha

Sasha sighed at This strangers words, and seeming enjoyment at leaving them to their own struggle to control the legion. But Lizzy seemed to know their intentions, and took to the air without any prompting, as soon as the 'Edo-Karn' imposter had finished talking, as if to say Ha ha. It made Sasha smile, and she laid a hand on the flying beasts back.

"Thank you" she said softly, as they began their journey to the capitol.

Master Jamie

Master Jamie sighed softly, wondering just how much one person could be expected to deal with in one day. They shook their head, and gave Zero and Zenoram a smile "Its alright. You can go on the job. Where would you like your guild mark, and what colour?" They asked, looking over as Ariel spoke.

"We are always happy for new members" the way the girl ate, although polite, seemed to indicate that she hadn't eaten for a while. And Jamie smiled again, Same question then for you. We have rooms that you can rent, for a percentage of your earnings each month, if you need a place to sleep and stay"

As Ayama spoke, Jamie looked over to her. And sighed, "While I can't promise we will be helpful in helping you search for your mother, we can certainly try. Once things calm down a bit, and the other guild members are returned from Edolas, we can look into it. Perhaps you would like to talk with Zero and Zenoram. They may be helpful in helping you"

Ariel

Jamie seemed rather swamped right now. Even though she was just asked a question Ariel decided to wait before answering. Things were pretty much set for her to join anyhow from the sounds of it. Smiling brightly she took a look around the hall again.

For the most part she was not listening to what was being said. Something about a job and wanting to find their mother. Speaking of parents made her kind of home sick. This was the furthest she'd ever bern from them. Toying with her food a bit she overheard mention of another place, Edolas. Ariel didn't actually know anything about the place other than that's where her mother was from and where she herself was born. Her mother always told her it was far, far away. The girl had always hoped that some day she could see it for herself. Nervously she interjected. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but did you say Edolas?"

Trinity Stratos

Her arrows hit her target early? No... It was already frozen. Wh-when did that happen? She blushed and looked away as though it had nothing to do with her when the curse mage makes fun of her, but this other mage also had her attention, so she couldn't simply avert her eyes for long.

A mysterious individual, to be certain. Once the curse mage had wandered away inside, she takes a moment to examine the other humanoid figure. Something about this person seemed foreboding... but she couldn't place just what. The figure followed the curse mage inside, and the bard spied a picture, fallen out of that person's pocket. She jumps down from the roof to fetch the photograph, examining it only to recognize the figures within. A picture of some of the more recognizable members of the guild. What did this person want with her new guild?

She turns suddenly as she hears someone coming out of the guild. She scrambles to clear the street before they show, with the picture in her hand. She vaults some rubble of the inn to its rooftop and shuffles herself over to the other side. She peeks to see Nero and the other mage, the latter walking toward the guild hall.

"Tsk." She conjures an arrow from her quiver, murmuring to it softly before drawing it and aiming toward the guild hall. The end of the arrow is a rubber ball, completely blunt and mostly harmless. She draws and aims carefully, enhancing with Trick Shot before she looses it.

Now for the manticore. That mage said something about it wearing off? Did he do this? She examines the poor thing encased in ice and she jumps down from the rooftop. Under some kind of effect, then. "Hmmm... they say love heals, right...?" She examines it for a moment more before she steps back, drawing a pink, frilly Love Arrow, with a heart-shaped arrow head. She fires it at the ice-entombed beast, and the arrows seems to stick into the ice, at first, before it 'melts' in, a gentle pink light radiating out from it as it does.

~~~
Hopefully, her arrow would hit the door with enough force for someone to go and answer it. Once someone picks it up, a message would play. "A black-hooded wizard of unknown origin with powerful magic is headed toward the guild."
Fleo Plector -=- Jeremy's Pancakes House
Fleo was relieved to find that the moment Nolan took to place his order allowed her to settle herself and pick something from the menu. She followed up her companion's order with, “And I'll have a could of pancakes, with the tropical juice blend, please!”
“Two pancakes then. We'll have that out for you as soon as we can.” The apish garcon inclined his head hospitably in a gesture far too refined for the evident quality of Jeremy's Pancake House. Perhaps, in years prior, the gray-haired fellow had warped around a restaurant of high esteem, serving the classiest of patrons with a bowtie accentuating his tuxedo and a towel hung across his arm. A sigh escaped from Fleo's throat as she considered this. Having been at the very top of the culinary industry must make an establishment like this, as comfortable as it was, seem positively barbaric. The garcon scribbled down the orders on his notepad and abruptly vanished once more.
Not for the first time this morning, Nolan's behavior surprised her—only this time, he appeared to be striking up a conversation rather than belittling her life choices or spilling a closely-held secret. Fleo raised her eyesbrows and replied, ever-so-slightly convinced that maybe the Ash God Slayer could be a normal guy after all. “There's been a bunch of talk about you around the guild. I'm always trying to be sociable, so a lot of chat comes me way, you see. Apparently God Slayers make quite the impression. More often discussed, however, is your...unique aversion. But hey, I'm not one to pry into what makes a person tick. My mom used to say that a lot of people, no matter how tough, were like these flowers we found out in the yard: if you poked them, trying to see what was inside, they curled up to hide themselves. You had to stand patiently by and let them open up on their own. What were they called, I wonder...Touch-me-not, or something. That's oddly appropriate for you when I think about it. Ah!”
True to his word, the pancakes arrived quickly. A small pouring cup with maple syrup came with the two plates, so that every customer could add exactly as much as he or she wanted. There was also a pat of butter, a spreading knife, and of course the two drinks. Fleo sipped her juice, found it tantalizingly sweet, and gulped down half the glass before she felt satiated. After a few words to Nolan, the pair set to eating. Conversation came surprisingly easy to the two, though it didn't quite compare to conversation typically considered normal. Whatever barriers lay between the two, be it sensitivity, fear, disillusionment, or willfulness, the dusty woman and the Ash God Slayer understood one another on at least one fundamental level. After the meal had been cleared away, the subject of jobs came up courtesy of Nolan.
“Rogue magician, huh? Well, I was hoping to go on a mission dealing with the animals in the eastern forest, but a team mission sounds way more fun. And I'll be a powerhouse in the desert with all those particles at my fingertips. If this dude brought down an entire guild, though, even the master, we ought to enlist a third person to help us along.”
On this they were agreed, and before long paid for their meal before departing Jeremy's Pancake House for Phoenix Wing. Though Fleo thought she caught a shining, icy glimmer a street over, she ignored it and instead focused on getting back to the guild hall in good time. A Sirocco would have been faster, of course, but obvious wisdom lay in saving her magic for the coming confrontation.
Nero -=- Midtown Magnolia
Now, Nero tried to maintain an optimistic outlook and treat strangers with the same hospitality and thoughtful reservation he hoped to be treated to, but this particular magician tried his patience, a teasing needle stabbing closer and closer to an over-inflated balloon. Images of raging flatulence and robed wizard constituted completely of easily-shattered porcelain danced in the dark mage's head. Wiping blood off his cheek and wincing at the pain, Nero replied as best he knew how, “Hey buddy, penguins adore me. And I'm not great; I'm fantastic. There is no better calling than to bring unbridled joy to the masses, except maybe bringing it myself. By the way, 'subtle' is turning your liver into glass and waiting for the rest of you to die from toxin buildup.”
By now, the nebulous figure was striding away, leaving an unhappy Nero in his wake. After a few moments of baleful glaring, Nero slip yet again into a better mood. He closed his eyes and smiled toothily at a very disgruntled Free “Maybe not a textbook definition,” he admitted as if conceding a major point in a debate, “But if dictionaries had fun stuff like that in them, people might actually read them. Oh, well!”
He cast a glance back at the spot where the manticore stood frozen, and felt vindicated to see not a beast but a confused-looking woman trapped in the rapidly-melting ice. “Time to be off,” he told Free, who squawked. Nero began to walk toward a towering structure in the near distance, which seemed all the more impressive for being under construction. “I've heard stories of this place,” Nero began. Free consigned himself to listening grumpily, with no chance for escape in sight. “They're even more famous than I am. I've been dying to find someone stu...brave enough to let me try out my new Curse Law on them. It's going to be so awesome! Those worrywarts over in the Onibus guild had no idea what they're missing out on. If I can get the kinks in the Ell oh Emm sorted out, I'll be able to ...well, just look!”
After some frantic searching, Nero produced a rolled-up paper from a coat pocket. When unrolled, it proved to be a home-made flyer, which he held up for Free to read. Attention, members of the renowned Phoenix Wing! it read, I am seeking a guinea pig candidate to let me cu help me test a new hex spell I'm developing, the super cool grand Law of Manifestation! While as with any spell their there is somewhat of a risk, I know that the bravery of Phoenix Wing will assist me with this incredible magical discovery! Reward: One wish, no string attached, no jackass too-literal interpretations, no malevolence! Gold, appearance changes, and magical supplements are my jam specialty!
“What do you think?” By now, the guild hall could be plainly seen. Either the lost magic user from earlier had taken a longer route, or Nero was being particularly oblivious, for he caught no glimpse of him. Free, meanwhile, tried to contain his enthusiasm.
He arrived just behind a woman in an orange coat and a tousel-headed guy with a sword. After avoiding stepping on what looked like an arrow with a tennis ball on the end, he surveyed all the people currently within the guild hall and took a deep breath. “Hello Phoenix Wing!” he shouted, bathing the room with his smile and showing off his penguin, who made a noise reminiscent of a crushed frog. “Have I got a job request for you lot!”
Edo Shutler
Location: Edolas Capitol
As he was walking away, a ball of fire landed in front of him and heard what the girl was talking about. "Your guild must really be filled with birds if you like chirping about everything that you see while flying. If it makes you feel any better, your flock probably weren't much of a big force of change during the battle two days ago. Think about it, who were the one that decided to reveal Liana's return, who ended this world's Maddox and Pen, who dethroned the fake monarchy? Your Earth Landers might of helped, but probably not enough to be the main cause. What makes you think that you and I can make a big difference in each of our worlds. As I see, what can you do to stop us and what makes you think your actions are truly right or wrong? What makes you know that this whole event is good or bad?" Edo Shutler walked away, making sure to walk around the fire that was already simmering down. "By the way, if you ever decide to board the titan, you're still welcome. Just behave yourself."
The lone shadow off in the distance stopped and stood there, as if it was listening at the commotion going on between Penny and Edo Shutler.
[James]
James had arrived far to late to the scene, having been stopped on several occasions for information on whether or not Phoenix Wing was going to do about the tavern. As a result, he sighed and walked back towards the hall, hoping for a peaceful day of waiting for the others.
[Damian]
By the time Damian got back to the guild hall, he was considerably calmer. Opening the door, he saw Zenoram and Karn holding a job with an S-Class stamp on it. Approaching them, he picks up the flyer and reads it. "This looks recent. And S-Class. Master, are you really letting them go alone? Especially if the villagers asked for your S-Class wizards specifically."
Zenoram/Zero
Zenoram smiled brightly. He was glad that Master Jamie had allowed his joining and the chance to take on the job himself. If he just got Hemlock to leave it would be fine. Right? Regardless he could get a guild stamp now. "Hmmmm... I think I want the guild mark to be purple." He said calmly before trying to think of where he wanted it. He wasn't entirely sure. Arm? Chest? He shook his head. he did not want to take off his shirt.
"Hey, let me handle this."
"Hm? Well... Okay..."
The only reason Zenoram let Zero take over was because he didn't expect was came next. "Put it right here on my back. Just under the left shoulder blade." He said as he forced the shirt to untuck and slide up and expose his back while turning away from the master to show the spot he wanted the stamp at.
"W-w-what are you doing Zero?!"
"Relax Zenoram. It's fine. It's only the back."
Once all was said and done Zero yawned a bit. He'd honestly expected it to be some sort of a tattoo. "Alright. Thanks." He said as he pulled his shirt down and turned back before feeling his nose twitch slightly. "Hm?" He sniffed just a bit. "So the other Dragon Slayer is here." He said in a quiet whisper the job request still firmly in his hand. He'd heard a bit of what she said about her parent. Was that why he hadn't seen the other dragon? How long had it actually been? Did Hemlock know something about it? He opened his mouth as if to speak and greet Amaya. That was her name right? Looks like the Guildmaster had deduced his magic.
"Wha?" That was the noise he made rather than any form of greeting. The reason? Damian. He didn't know who this guy was and he didn't know of the rule regarding s-class missions. Which was probably about half of the reason he spoke up so ignorantly following his brief moment of shock. "Hey! I don't know who the fuck you are, but find your own job. This ones taken." He growled at Damian, a fierce look in his eyes. He looked about ready to fight.
"Z-Zero! Wait... What if there's a rule or something?! You can't just pick a fight or something with someone in the guild after just joining. You need to hear what is being said!"
Obviously, Zenoram's words were falling on deaf ears as Zero didn't seem to be back down. Especially, when one took into consideration his snarl. Even if this guy was someone important Zero wasn't some weak back alley mage. He could hold his own. Maybe. He didn't know anything about this guy. But it wasn't like he would take a straight beating. Besides, this guy didn't even know anything about him either. So far only Karn, Mithera, and presumably the guild master for some reason knew of his magic.
Edolas
Mayt
Mayt rolled his eyes at the comment of fake Edo-Karn. "Watch where your jests lay now." He wriggled a finger at the shapeshifter, and steeled himself for what was to come. As they approached the Titan, Mayt whistled softly. It was big, he'd give them that much. Rolling his shoulders, he placed a hand on his sword as he stood up, balancing expertly on the top of the Legion as it flew. Once it neared the feat of the gargantuan machine Mayt leaped, twirling in the air and falling fast to the ground. About a quarter of the way down, he shouted, "Degrade: Motion!" His fall slowed to a point where he wouldn't be crushed, but it was still a heavy landing.
Mayt had landed on the foot of the Titan, undoubtedly scaring those who had just entered. He let go of his weapon, standing straight, and looking directly at Gentsai. "You're the one who runs this operation correct? I have but a single demand of you: Stop. Stop trying to take people to Earthland, it is a path that will lead to misfortune and death. Understood?" He would jump off the foot of the giant and land near Gentsai, something in his eye different that usual. "Those from Edolas belong in Edolas, not in Earthland." His posture would be weird as well. He'd be standing straight, but his back is slouched slightly, his knees bent and apart a little, and energy gathering around him, creating a small whirlwind around him.
Amaya Vanisis
Amaya listened to Master Jamie as her nose twitched when he mentioned one name that she wasn't expecting to hear for a long time..Zenoram. She looked towards him and gave a simple nod "We have crossed paths a few time...very brief meetings before moving to our seperate destinations."She commented watching the Dragon slayer try hard to hide any possibly of exposing anything about him. "just like me..."She whispered to herself having a small smile play on her face as it was good to know their type of magic wasn't fully dead to the world. Mother, life is getting more interesting my the day...I wish I could tell you everything right now. She thought to herself feeling her neck where her guildmark was.
She took a deep breath before she was about to extend her hand when the mood of the atmosphere changed when damian suddenly took the job from Zenoram "Oh great..."She whispered sighing before she reached forward, attempting to try and pull Zero away from damian for a slight hope there won't be anyone getting hurt, there was already someone unconious on a table from a fight. " Please...calm down...He is someone you won't win against in a fight...Believe me...Deep breath Zero..."She added. it was funny how the short moments she meet of zero and zenoram that she could tell for the most part who was how. In a way Amaya thought of them like twins of opposite personalities cause in all truth, that is what she considered the two of them to be...twins stuck in a very cramp space called a single body. In all truth, amaya figured it had to be hell for the two to have to share one body on different situations and somehow manage to function properly without being a total oddball.
"He's an S-Class Wizard...I Don't think you want to take him on when you just joined the same day I have...it looks bad...Hear him out."She added hoping Zero was even willing to hear her out through that thick head of his.
Gentsai
Location: Titan's foot
Gentsai welcomed a few people inside and gestured them inside quickly as he saw Mayt falling from the sky. After Mayt's landing "Just like the stories and documents, Earth Landers do have quite extraordinary powers. My name's Gentsai Shin and-" Seeing as no one else was around, he decided to continue with the plan since it didn't look like anyone else was joining. "I'm glad you made, I hope the rest of your Earth Lander guild mates are on their way. If everything follows correctly, we should be starting our departure soon, just like as schedule. But obviously it sounds as if don't you want to join. He shook his head, showing that he wouldn't agree to the demands. "Sorry, but the departure is still going as plan. But please tell me, why and how will this path lead to misfortune and death? You said those in Edolas belong in Edolas, yet you and your friends are here, why?"
The lone shadow from before, suddenly moved away from Edo Shutler, Penny, and Sayrui. Now its path continued toward the titan.
[center]Penny[/enter]
"Your right. I don't know what will happen, but I do know it won't be good, for either of our worlds. We've been here two days, and already, there's been a shift. You can't feel it. You can't feel magic, like we can. The longer we stay here, the more we deplet this worlds already depleted magic, and I won't have people that weren't born in our world, weren't born of magic ruin our magic. Ruin the already fragile standing of magic in our world. You will have to kill me, because I swear, I wont let you, or anyone else, go to our world. I will stop you" Penny said, her voice deadly, flames flickering in response to her words.
"And I'm not easy to kill. Do you know the legend of the Phoenix? Legend has it, they are immortal. Do you really want to test that?"
Master Jamie
It was just one thing after another, wasn't it? But at least this was something Jamie could enjoy. "Why yes, Damian, I had noticed that. AND oh, look. You're the only S class Mage around, with Penny and Mayt stuck in Edolas. So, fancy hunting a dragon then, Damian?" Jamie shook his head, and tsked, "Boys, boys, boys. No need to fight Damian. I'm sure you wish to go on the job, and he's the only reason you will be going. S class jobs means you need an S class wizard"
As Ariel asked about Edolas, Jamie looked over "Yes, I did say Edolas, Why?" She asked curiously "Does it mean something to you, Ariel?"
The cloacked figured smiled with Amusement, although no one could see. "Ah, I should have dealt with the singer before. And the pest, well, I can at least enlighten the Phoenix's to his tricks. And maybe, put them at ease around me" they spoke to themselves, following Nero in.
"Tsk, Tsk, Nero, getting in trouble again? I'm afraid you m ay bit off more then you can chew, taking Phoenix Wing on and trying to trick them. I'm sure htey know never to trust a genie" They turned to Master Jamie, snatching Nero's paper out his hands. "I recommend not taking a job from this little trickster. He just caused a riot with a manticore that was a woman tha I had to deal with, and he has a pegiun that is in fact a boy, the poor thing."
They removed their hood, revealing an oddly young face, with dark eyes, and short, black haiir, with a long fringe, falling over their eyes. they were, in fact, Male. "While I have a name, you may just call me the Time Lord, and I wish to have a word with some of your people able a demon they faught" Their eyes flickered to Damian, "The Blade of Phoenix Wing. How lovely to meet you, in person, of course. If you are busy, I am more than happy to wait"
Master Jamie frowned, watching this scene. "I'm afraid you both are going to have to take a number, I"m rather busy today"
Trinity Stratos
The young musician walks up to the melting tomb of ice, putting a hand up against it before pulling a fire arrow from her quiver. Instead of drawing the arrow in her bow, she begins to use it as a knife to cut through the ice. She didn't expect the ice to be porous, and water would only fill the cavity she left, with the ice melting. It would be best to get her out quickly.
She cuts a hole large enough for the woman to climb out and then dispels the arrow, helping the woman climb out safely. She sings softly to calm the woman before asking her what happened. After a little bit of coaching along to jog her memories, they start with the last thing she remembers of that day.
However much she got out of the woman, she couldn't just leave this situation as it was. Carefully, Trinity enters the busted up Inn, peeking through some rooms and doors before she finds the two within. They seemed alright, so Trinity was free to move on. She should really get back to the guild. Gotta put this flyer back and probably tell Master about all these strange shenanigans.
After seeing the woman she'd left outside home, the minstrel, Trinity makes her way back to the guild. She finds her arrow outside the guild hall, on the ground, and sighs as she dispels it. She opens the door to the guild and steps through. "Master- oh. They're both here, that's... 'good'."
Lazarus
This whole situation had his soul venting the steams of anger. Why is it of human's nature to be so selfish? He clenched his fists, riding for the journey. "Humans... we are such a backwards and barbaric race." He sighed talking to Sasha. "They have left us in an impossible position. I don't see any diplomatic end to this. All of those wanting to go to Earthland will not give up their chance at having free use of magic..." He paused. "If that machine is the only way to get home..." He cringed. "Some of us will surely have to stay behind, to defend it whilst the rest of us leave." He muttered coldly. Sasha would probably oppose his thinking so he would cut her off before she said anything. "Dont look at me like that!" He snapped. "Those people won't just let us leave in their machine, and leave them behind... but we cant allow them to come with us!" He touched her shoulder and kissed her cheek. As Mayt jumped from the legion he let himself fall backwards from it and formed his wings. He landed next to Mayt. "STOP!" He boomed. "You cannot go to Earthland! None of you! You will upset the balance of magic can't you see that?!" He thought convincing them to stay would at least be worth a shot before anyone had to fight. "Mayt is correct. If you go to Earthland. It's fate shall be identical to Edolas." He growled.
Edo-Lazarus
He looked the other way. "Oh." He whispered weakly. "I'm sorry. Next time I'll not get involved." He murmured sadly. What was the point anymore. He didn't belong in this world. He had been rejected by it. He belonged nowhere. He was trash. Filthy trash that got in everyone's way. He thought he could change Edolas, save it in fact, by staying on the kingdom's side in a position of power. However, ultimately, there was nothing he could do. Because his life was worthless. It wasn't even worth the trouble of being dragged to this bed and kept alive. He turned his head back. "...You should have just let me die... Miss Shin." He didn't even refer to her by her name.
Edolas
Mayt
Mayt scoffed when Lazarus showed up. He just had to open his mouth didn't he? Shaking his head, he looked at Gentsai. "I didn't say everything always ends up where it belongs, but we can still do our damnedest to keep them where they belong. Which is what I'm doing. So I will ask this again before I resort to violence." He drew his sword, pointing it at Gentsai. "Stop. You will not go to Earthland." He slowly moved his sword down so it was less than an inch from the ground, turning so his side is to Gentsai. "Unless you send just us Earthlanders home, and don't go yourself, then that misfortune I spoke of will come. And it will be all by my hand." He quickly flicked his sword so that it would be in Lazarus' path should he choose to go in front of him. "And you, angel boy, keep out of this. You'll only get yourself hurt if you get in my way." He lowered the sword again. "So what will it be Gentsai? Will you continue, or send us home and be done with it?" Mayt was now in a stance suggesting he would be ready to fight, and his eyes would seem... Different. While Gentsai wouldn't know him well enough to see it, Lazarus might be able to. This wasn't the same Mayt from the guild. The whirlwind would be picking up around him, causing his loose clothing to whip around a bit loudly. "Those are your only choices."
Nero -=- Guild Hall
With a wounded look that screamed Can you believe this guy? Nero shrugged, shaking his head disconsolately. Inwardly he seethed, but managed to restrain himself from turning the ridiculous 'Time Lord' into a puddle. He settled for a dismissive wave of his hand, using the Law of Embodiment to turn his flier into water. No longer possessed of a solid form, it splashed from the intruder's hands onto the guild hall's floor. When Nero reached down, he broke the curse, and the flier reformed just in time to be grabbed. Surprisingly, it totally lacked water damage, which left only one big cause for concern.
“Don't know what your problem with me is,” he remarked, his eyebrows folded in sorrow, an expression perhaps inappropriate for the situation. “It's hardly my fault things turned out that way. She could just have easily been a parakeet, and anyway, everything's fine now. I'm serious about this spell; if the tests go well, my reward will be one-hundred-percent-genuine. It matters to me.” Nero addressed the stranger, not the guild master, knowing that he would receive no help from him...her? It could have easily gone either way. Weird. I'll have to find help on my own.
He looked around until he caught sight of Trinity, and his face lit up. “You again!” he cried, as if she were a long-lost friend. “I know I teased you about the ice arrows, but really, you're the reason that nobody got really hurt. If you hadn't unfrozen Ginger, she'd probably be dead now. That's more than the bozo in black ever did. Before you ask, yeah, it is somewhat possible that I had a hand in it, but she deserved what she got. Just bad luck that she became a monster.” Free, though a penguin not known for his agility, now suddenly gave a tremendous push, and weaseled his way out of Nero's arms. He waddled off deeper into the guild hall, evidently intrigued by the place. The dark mage allowed him to go, happy to see his charge at least momentarily happy. “When I get serious about something,” he continued, the smile on his face in every way the antithesis of serious, “My word is a good as my bond. What I'm doing is an original spell. I've been working on it for ages, but none of my Laws work on myself. Maybe you'd be the one to help me, and earn yourself a wish?”
