Shiro watched the exchange and sighed, touching the side of his temple. "I swear to god, when we get back I'm going to finish what those lunatic eugenicists started." he muttured and closed his eyes, touching his blade. "Syra, would you like me to show you to your sleeping quaters?" he suggested starting a itineray list in his head. "The jump is in a few minutes." He grinned, No matter what he said, He loved jumping, while the re-entry messed with his internals the jump itself, that few days of being in the void made him feel so alive. hundreds of dimensions, pouring magnetic energy in to one infinite point that crossed each one, it was like plugging a flashlight right in to the mains. Supercharging him.

"Fire..." Syra said absent minded, her eyes opaque and glassy. Suddenly, she violently shook her head and twisted around to face Shiro. "Okay, cool" She smiled as she dragged her paws through her hair in attempt to fix it. Syra didn't mind jumping, but this was a new kind of jumping. This was more like falling and their was a difference between falling and jumping.

Shiro smiled and head down the hall, grinning and humming to himself, counting down out loud. "twenty..." he paused and opened a door for Syra "fifteen." he said after a count of five under his breath. down the hall, another five. "ten." he opened the door to the sleeping quaters. "They're double rooms I'm afraid. you get first choice of who you share with." he said and then grinned "three. two...one." and mid way through one they jumped. the entire cruiser elongating and rippling through null space "Woo!" Shiro yelled jumping in to the air, the entry was smooth and the elastification of the ship halted as they were in the void, shiro's fur floating just of his skin, energy snapping about him as his body absorbing the latent electrical and magnetic energy of the void.

"Woooooooooooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" A normal being would have been ripped to shreds and scattered through multiple dimension. Their very soul would have been torn to pieces, making all forms of resurrection nearly impossible. There would be nothing let to salvage. As it was, Bob was sticking his head out the window, feeling the Void on his face. It took a lot of energy, however, and within moments he was back inside, panting, small beads of sweat glistenning on his brow, as he made himself some tea.

Syra stood. Closing her eyes. Ignoring every one. Thinking. She soon stopped though, because her quiet place was much more disturbing and unsettling than her oppinions and fears of her current situation. So instead, she shut herself down, like her mother had taught her. It'll be easier... and it will help you. Her mothers voice whispered in her kind. there could well be a time when you need it

The cruser erupted back in to realspace with a crackle of etheric energy and a flash of purple light. the ship itself let out a soft groan as if glad that the stress of void transit was off it. inside however several claxons went off, one calling the crew to combat stations, the other calling the med-bay crew out of their bunks, and a third calling the Excalibur team to the Drop room.

Claxons. How boring. How typical. How bloody annoying! With a sigh, Bob reached down, and stopped the claxons, instead replacing them with Mozart. While Bob wasn't a large fan of the classics, Mozart had been a genius on Earth, one of the less developed worlds in the ISF, and it was quite amusing to him, listening to his music so far from anything Mozart could have called familiar. In fact, Bob was half-tempted to force someone to play Mozart, and start a little play about it. He could throw in Shakespeare for irony, and maybe Mozes too. It would be religiously awkward, but Bob was sure it would work out.
However, Bob was interupted from his musing by the activity of soldiers, as someone shouted at him for addling with the claxons, and the standard sound came back on. Annoyed, Bob teleported to the drop room, deciding it was better to just do as he was told for once. The only thing that kept him from killing whoever was sounding such a boring, standard and annoying sound, however, was the prospect of excitement. Whereas being in Excalibur was fine and all, he hadn't yet been able to do anything truly FUN, besides screwing with the other members, which had ended up making someone melt him. Whereas Bob was a creature of peculiar tastes all around, he still agreed with the common sentiment that being melted isn't fun, regardless of the circumstances.

Syra broke out of her safe-place hurriedly made her way to the drop room. She saw Bob there and gave him a rather disgusted look, a sign of her on-going new hate for him. Her safe and quite place had been nice... Oh well... She thought as she dragged her hands through her hair to neaten it. She looked down at herself. She didn't look too bad, not that she needed to impress anyone. They were after all, going to a barren planet.

Shiro strode in to the drop room, humming to himself as he bucked two metal gauntlets on to his arms, sword on one hip, pistol on the other, a pair of desert glasses resting on his nose, adjusting the straps on two pure black metallic bracers he cut a imposing figure, though it was ruined by the manic grin on his face, clearly he was exited. "Ok, I assume everyone will be ready for drop in five?"

"Screw counting" Bob clapped Shiro on the back, before jumping through the floor, screaming as he plummeted towards the planet's surface, shouting "Yahooooooooo!". Bob must have created a special supply of air up to the ship just so they could have heard that, which would have been considered a waste of effort to anyone who was not, in fact, Bob. Shouting, Bob decided to become and anvil, and as he began to glow from the heat of falling, he created a rain of fireproof anvils around him, each with the letters ACME stamped onto them. This resulted in the oddest meteorite rain in the planet's history, as well as Bob's arrival, who had gone back to normal out of boredom just before forcibly meeting the cold hard ground. Fortunately, nobody except Bob was hurt.
