Current Setting Details:
Weather: Cloudy, with a chill in the air.
Time: Late Afternoon.
Location: The city of Ballard, a crowded mid-size settlement with heavy pollution. Many large factories make up the majority of the city.

--Aubrey

Humidity hung thickly in the cool evening air. Fading rays of sunlight broke through the gaps in the cloud cover, glinting off of the tall metal structures and casting long shadows across the ground. The smell of burning fuel was almost overwhelming, though the citizens seemed to be accustomed to it and didn't notice.. Aubrey, however, was very aware of it.

The young boy wrinkled his nose in distaste. He secured the final tether he was holding, a large metal clamp that fitted perfectly into the dock's side. Now, this was not an ordinary dock. It was over 1,000 feet up in the air, and made almost entirely of metal. A combination of brass, steel, and titanium, it was a huge beast that currently held about six or seven ships of varying sizes. Aubrey turned back to the [i]Leviathan[/b], surveying her with hands on his hips. She had taken some damage in their last raid, and had to set down to make a few repairs. They had flown as far as she would let them before setting down at this mid-sized city, named Ballard. He hadn't been here before, but his impression thus far wasn't good. It seemed pretty run down to him.

At the moment, the crew was given around five hours to explore. They had been warned that if they got in trouble, to resolve it before they got back to the ship. “Your problems are your own on land,” was a quote that had been drilled into Aubrey's head since he joined the pirate crew. It had only been a short four months since he was enlisted into their little group, but it felt like a lifetime. They had more action then he had originally expected. By time they finished repairs from one raid, they were either onto the next, fleeing the pursuit of military ships, or picking a fight with some stuck-up rich guy with far to many bodyguards.

The boy turned and gave the thumbs up, smiling widely at the window closest to him. Inside, the flight crew returned the gesture as they slowly powered down, and she settled down gently beside the dock, hovering evenly with the deck. He listened to the sound of metal gears grinding together and pistons firing as the engines relaxed. They never shut her down completely (maybe fearing they wouldn't get her started again) but instead put the ship in “idle” while they did their repairs.

Aubrey turned and looked back at the city that awaited them, a grin on his face. Ah, what adventures would he get into today?

“There you go,” Prince said, wiping away a piece of dust off his golden mechanical leg. “Good as new,” He grinned as he lifted up his pants, admiring his golden leg as he attached it back to himself. He got up from his seat, stretching his back from the amount of sitting he’s been doing. “I've been sitting so long, my butt’s sore,” He whined, walking over to the door and opening it. Outside were the halls of the Leviathan, decorated with endless amounts of windows. He walked over to one of the windows, observing the city that stood proudly outside the windows of the Leviathan, Ballard. His heart beat raced with excitement with the amount of trouble he was planning on getting in before the Leviathan set sail once more.

“Guess I should go look for parts before doing anything else,” He said, noticing how loose his mechanical arm and leg were. After years of being in the Leviathan, his arm and leg were starting to wear down from the amount of battles he had taken part in over the years. He knew there was a mechanic on board but he couldn't trust anyone with his most prized possessions, especially the possessions that his late father invented for him before he passed.

It just wouldn't feel right.

He smiled as he heard the ship dock onto land and made his way outside, staring at the exterior of the Leviathan in awe; He never realized how bad the damage was from their last raid. He turned around, noticing Audrey looking at the city streets with a grin plastered on his face. He smirked, sneaking up behind him and placing him in a headlock. “Watcha doin’ there, kid?”

"I'll never complain about Tre'Vada ever again," mutter Taran to no one in particular. They were not even properly in the city, and yet, he still had the need to scrub every inch of it off his skin. Which, probably meant that it was the best type of city for...activities. The thought of which made waiting for the ship to dock even more unbearable than usual.

Although the ship was almost always in the air, it was only when it was close to the ground, or about to dock that it every really seemed that way. Not that Taran had anything to compare it to, never having sailed through water before, but he imagined it was very much the same. However, when the ground came closer, it just seemed so much more deadly. He'd never felt the need to leave his home city until he boarded the Leviathan a few months ago. The lack of forethought caused the whole process took a bit of getting used to. While the over-all concept was more freeing, the same faces and close quarters left much to be desired. Luxuries like, going for a walk, meeting someone new, buying things were missed. Simple things he never thought he'd long for until they were denied to him. Not that it was enough to make him regret going, it just encouraged him to make the most of his time on land.

Finally the ship stabilized and Taran soon found himself standing at top the dock, having used the door simply because it was the close 'acceptable' exit. Not that he was above disembarking the ship via a window simply for a reaction. However, that would have involved going back up to the deck and making sure it was 'okay' to disembark, instead of assuming it was implied.

Taran crossed the few steps from the door to where Audrey stood. "So, back in five hours? More or less? I need to see a ma-wom...person about something...legal,"

Sighed, sitting up against the ships wall as she drew on her notebook. The morning rays cascaded over her legs and the notebook she drew in. She constantly switched from pencil to pencil, annoyed by the constant switching wishing that there was some kind of multi-purpose pencil that can both shade, draw small, and large lines, but that would never happen. She sipped on a cup of coffee as she drew, needing the energy from yesterday, staying up the whole night. ' I wonde-... ' the ship seemingly stopped, she didn't hear the serene noise of wind blowing against the ship was no more. Her head turned looking towards the windows a thin sheet of exhaust covered the outside.

Her mind pondered wondering what city they stopped at. Sighing, she knew that the crew had to leave sooner or later and there was someone already out, eager to get out of the ship...'Prince?' she asked herself, the odd and narcissistic name floated within her head for a few minutes. Her hands supported her as she stood up, grabbing her satchel, stuffing her art pack and notebook within the small pockets of the satchel.

Now another man had exited the ship, his shoes clacking against the seemingly metal material as he did so, 'Taran was it?'. Asking herself as he looked towards him, the red hair, the hazel eyes, odd...it was, but that would be hypercritic as she had a pair of blue eyes and long blue pigtails...the total weirdo package, her father had the same looks but he...well he had this rainbow-funky-town-lets-go-and-part-scientific-look. Once again, she sighed walking towards the exit, following Taran. This city had pollution problems...pollution, Ballard. The name stung in her mind, the scent of its name seemingly blinded her.

She simply shrugged, walking next to Taran staying mute as she walked beside him. Stopping as he spoke to Audrey, Audrey was a small boy for his age. ' The yaoi is strong with this one..' she says, the sentence echoing in her mind...and maybe in her soul. She grabbed her 'speak' notebook from the satchel, writing-

" So...shall we four go and get some coffee within this polluted city? "

She wrote, the hand writing in cursive, wondering if Audrey could read it...but of course, she had always mistook him for a child.

Winter

Leaning against a railing, Winter looked out over Ballard. The city was teeming with life, sounds and smog polluting the air. She ran a hand up and down her arm, either to warm herself against the chill or to wipe away the grime that was already layering itself on her skin, and glanced down at the dock. A few of the crew had already begun gathering, no doubt eager to stretch their legs – the two little ones, and a couple of the pretty-boys. Prince typically did a good job of keeping them out of trouble, but with Taran…

Winter sighed quietly to herself and straightened up. Walking through the familiar halls of the Leviathan, she made her way down, finally touching land in the first time in… goodness, how long had it been? She did her usual practice of glancing at everyone around her, evaluating and measuring the situation. It'd long become second-nature to her, but she wasn't expecting anything of import to happen in Ballard. Then again, with this crew you never knew.

"You'll remember not to kick up a fuss while we're here, yes?" she said as she drew near, her gentle voice cutting through the clamor of the city. The corner of her mouth twitched up, betraying her fondness, despite her warning. Her comment was mainly directed at Taran (oh yes, she'd heard his comment) but it was good for the rest to hear, too. "We're not exactly ready for any quick getaways this time." Winter glanced down to see what Levi had written on her notebook. Coffee was innocent enough. Then again, they were pirates.

"I see that you are busy doing...male bonding, so I'll just..leave you to it," Taran had a slight grin on his face, watching 'Prince' force Audrey into a headlock. "Although I am quite tempted wait and see who still has all of their body parts once Auds breaks free."

He took a step back, making to leave and nearly bumping into Levi, his overly observant nature having totally noticed the quite girl who walked with him out of the ship. "Ack- Sorry, didn't...notice you... Maybe while you are here you should think of investing in a bell--" He glanced up at the new voice who joined the quickly forming group just outside of the ship. "Well, there is trouble," He said to the approaching girl. "Awh, Win, you should know by now that my ability to not kick up a fuss is about the same as my ability to read. I can't," Or won't was far more like it on both fronts. "Now, Levi, unless your sign has something to do with licking the all the spoons of the city and seducing the attractive married population, I'm busy,"

Angelo woke up as they docked in a port. Angelo was getting up and noticed that everyone had left considering that they had some time on their hands he didn't blame them so Angelo changed and made sure to bring his gauntlets with him just in case. Right now Angelo wanted to get a drink and something to eat so he left the ship and started walking towards the nearest bar. Angelo looked back seeing the pride and joy of their crew and Angelo couldn't help but feel proud knowing the many battles and escapes it help them get through. Angelo sighed a little as he kept walking and soon he found a bar nearby and he told the bar keep to get him some food and cheap ale. As he left Angelo looked around the bar to see if anyone was of interest to him in the hole they call a home. The smog and fumes may as well make this place a den of thieves but then Again that's more or less what Angelo and his crew does, but at least they do good with the money they make. Angelo soon got his food and started eating but as bad luck would have it some ruff necks came in and started to disturb the calm atmosphere by yelling and cheering about something stupid and Angelo just wanted some peace and quiet hey shut up! Angelo yelled out and they quiet down almost immediately see the thing was that they were large people with muscles only earned with hard work everyday so one of them came over you got a problem with us punk? he said but Angelo was ignoring him as he ate his lunch and drank his ale and soon the man got annoyed and had the nerve to grab Angelo food and throw it on the ground I said you got a problem with us?! Angelo sighed but he guessed he brought it on himself knowing they wouldn't be civil about it so he turned around and counted one, two, three then Angelo nodded thinking he would be fine and told the bar keep 2 minutes if I take them down that fast then they pay for my meal he looked shocked but nodded and the men just laughed you really think you can take us down that- Angelo got him gasping for air when he threw a hard punch to his chest hearing the cracking of bones. the other men looked shocked but then took up a stance but Angelo wasn't going to go easy on them, he did say two minutes after all. Angelo then ran over to one of the men who was about to use a chair and hit Angelo with it but instead Angelo dodged and gave him a nasty uppercut to his chin sending him flying to one of the tables effectively breaking it. Then the last one Angelo charged at he swept his legs making him start to fall and as he was Angelo jumped and stuck his elbow out and when he fell Angelo fell and landed his elbow right on his chest making another loud crack in the room. He was officially the winner in that's, 1 minute and 43 seconds Angelo sighed a little need to get faster, that took to long Angelo said softly as he walked back and went back to eating his new lunch which was now on the losers tab...

--Aubrey

He noticed Taran first. He walked up, with Levi trailing along silently beside him. As Taran started to say something, Aubrey was distracted when somebody's arms snaked around his shoulders and put him in a head lock. ”Watcha doin' there, kid?” Prince's familiar voice said in his ear. Aubrey played it off like he wasn't surprised by the sneak attract, but for a moment a look of panic crossed his face until he identified that he wasn't in any danger. His flight instincts were strong, especially since he had grow accustomed to always being on alert.

“Lemme go, you prick!” He grumbled, though there was a playful tone in his voice that made it clear he wasn't angry, just perhaps a little annoyed.

He wriggled in Prince's grip, trying to loosen the hold. Levi stood and seemed to observe the scene, and though she didn't say anything (like usual) he felt like she was thinking something he should be embarrassed about. She wrote something down on her sketch pad and held it up, but the only word Aubrey recognized was 'coffee'. He could have figured it out, but her pretty handwriting was hard to decipher while he was struggling with Prince.

Taran said something snarky about 'male bonding' and Audrey suddenly became very self-conscious. He stomped on Price's foot, then leaned back into him, setting them both off balance and allowing him to wriggle free from his grasp. He pulled his hat down further onto his head and puffed his cheeks, making a pouting expression as he stepped away and put a little distance between them.

Winter walked up next, warning them not to get into trouble. “Make a fuss? Us? Never.” Aubrey teased, “Who gets in trouble getting coffee?”

"Ach! Stop!" The annoyance dripping off Viola's voice changed to laughter as a fluffy tail tickled her shoulder, then her neck, and then her cheek. "Rufus, what is it?" Her eyes fluttered open and the girl rubbed out the gunk that had accumulated in the corners of her eyes during the long nap she'd had to make up for last night. Pleased that she was awake, the squirrel let out a squeaky chitter and leapt down to perch on Viola's shoulder when she sat up.

Only then did the still-sleepy woman realize that the Leviathan had stopped and the air smelled like a mixture of soot and old socks. After a quick glance at Rufus, she decided that he agreed with her extremely accurate conclusion. She coughed softly and stood up, looking out at the city of Ballard. It wasn't the best place to stop, but it was an excellent opportunity to stock up on some supplies--especially fresh food! And maybe some suspicious herbal concoctions, but that was a different story.

Viola stretched, walked down and stepped off the ship. It felt kind of good to be on land again, although the location wasn't exactly perfect. A few crew members were horsing around as usual, but she didn't comment. She was busy mentally planning what to look for first and whether to take her syringe gun. The latter, she decided, was a no. That was just asking for trouble. Her dagger though? That was good common sense.

[PRINCE]

Prince turned his head, realizing a few members of the Leviathan make their way towards them. "Hey, guys!" He greeted, ignoring the 'Lemme go, you prick!' that came out of Audrey. 'What a cutie," he thought, grinning from ear to ear. Prince's eyes widened, as he felt Audrey stomp on his foot and lean back, causing him to lose his balance and fall on his butt. "Ow," He whined, rubbing his lower back. He watched as Audrey stepped away from him, a pout on his face.

"It's okay, shorty," Prince said, getting up and petting Audrey on the head. "You're still cute," He teased, knowing how much Audrey hated to be called short. He hasn't known Audrey for long, but he's always had a soft spot for the younger one's that joined the crew of the Leviathan. He never knew why they decided to join but he decided not to ask. Everyone has their own secrets, after all.

"You'll remember not to kick up a fuss while we're here, yes?" He heard Winter say. A pout formed on his face, she was always warning them about not getting into trouble. "You're no fun, Winter," He said, walking over and pinching her left cheek. "What's the point of being a pirate, if we don't cause a little trouble here and there?" He asked, shaking his head. Winter always acted like such a mom, not that he was complaining but he knew she liked causing trouble just as much as anyone else did on the ship, she just doesn't admit it.

He laughed at Taran's words, "C'mon now, Taran. No need to corrupt Levi, with your questionable way of living," He teased, wrapping an arm around Levi.

Sakuya smiled as she leaned on the railing. Finally, a new city! It was about time there were new people to be mischievous around! "Come on Rin!", she had called out. However, she did not receive any response. Frowning slightly, she entered through the door, only to notice her twin calmly napping, holding what appeared to be a rather thick staff wrapped in gauze or the like.

Sighing, she lightly tapped on the other girl's head, muttering "Come on sleepyhead, time to go for a walk." Although it might have taken quite a bit, the other girl finally opened her eyes, albeit only slightly. Yawning, she stretched out her arms, before settling down in her seat. Blinking any remaining sleepiness from her eyes, Rin tilted her head as she looked at Sakuya. "Where to?" Short and simple, as expected.

"Of course! We're going to go around explore the city!" With such a cheerful answer, Sakuya immediately turned around and ran outside, without bothering to look over her shoulder. Why would she need to anyways? She knew that her sister would definitely follow her, despite preferring to sleep.

Hoping onto the railing, before leaping off, landing on the dock with a roll, she pondered for a moment. Where should one go about exploring a new city? Luckily for her, she did not need to think for long, as the quiet grumbling of a stomach beside her gave her the answer. "I'm guessing we go find a place to eat first." Laughing slightly at the slight blush that spread over Rin's face, Sakuya started making her way towards the bar.

Along the way, she glanced over at Rin, or more specifically, the 'staff' held in her hands. "Should you really be bringing that with you?".....a shrug for an answer. Sighing, Sakuya herself gave a shrug, before adding, "Well, if push comes to shove, it's an over-sized walking stick."

Exhaled, putting down her talk-notebook...it has only been six years since her father was taken away, the government was right to take him away and even though he tough her lessons she couldn't stand the feeling that your father just killed fifty-five scouts. She said in shame, his maniacal laugh, and yet his unique looks made her smile, forgetting the bloodshed that he created. She let out another small sigh, the words of the others echoing within her mind as she stared at the group. There laughs, there-laugh-silly-like anger filled her with joy, but...she couldn't correctly express her emotions as she did have a resting bitchface. Shrugging as she saw Angelo walking past her, his heavy footsteps and his dark attire made him mysterious.

There seemingly a cold effect when she was always near him, Angelo was collected, quiet, and cold. The total tsundere-male pack, she watched him go off with his own business, but the aesthetics of the fog and his attire made the scene look so...mysterious, perfect for drawing. She grabbed out her drawing-notebook, and two different kinds of pencils that had different shading effects. The man already faded in the fog but...she could still clearly remember the scene.

The tall slender-like build, a flat chest in which she always see...but instead of being bare, it was only clothing that made his body look flat. His choice of weaponry was intriguing, the gears perfectly sufficed for a bow, but...she wondered if his weapon could delve deeper into another weapon. She rested her palm against her chin, her elbow lightly touching her stomach as she thought. Only a few glances of his weapon worked, she could easily separate multiple parts of the weapon without constantly looking back and forth, ' Thanks dad...' the words echoed in her mind, smiling as she drew Angelo's back, along with the fog surrounding him.

She felt a arm surround her neck, ' Prince...god dammit. ' She sighed, his demeanour annoyed her dearly, but...he was a nice person. She slowly moved his arm away from her neck area, stepping forward as she turned to face him. Her glare was deathly, her eyes simply blank as if she was staring into his soul...and maybe even deeper.

Closed her notebook, gently setting it in the satchel. Grabbing out the talk-notebook, quickly writing in cursive...

" Stop... "

She wrote, putting the words in front of his face, but not so close that he would be shoved into the notebooks papers.

Winter

Winter just barely resisted rolling her eyes at Taran and Aubrey.

Boys.

She tensed though when Prince came up and pinched her cheek. Touch was still… uncomfortable for her, to say the least, and she typically only allowed it when she had to patch up a crew member. She could feel long-buried habits floating to the surface, wanting nothing more than to be rid of this foreign weight on her skin, and she felt a more violent reaction begin building up within her, traveling up her spine and down her arms.

But then the moment was over, and she remembered herself. Making a disapproving face at Prince, she swatted his hand away like she would some wayward fly. Really, she didn't know what she was getting so worked up over. She'd been with this crew long enough that these little teasing touches shouldn't have phased her anymore. But it seemed she was getting sloppy.

"What's the point of being a pirate if we all get thrown in a cell because we got caught without a working ship?" she countered to Prince. She didn't know why she was even bothering. Winter had seen Angelo already make his way into the city, and lord knew he always managed to stir up trouble within the first hour of landfall. Levi had wandered after him in her quiet way, so perhaps she'd at least remind him to keep his wits about. Looking behind her, Winter saw Viola and the twins making their way out of the Leviathan. She gave a small sigh to herself and figured there was no helping it. Oh well.

--Aubrey

Aubrey's cheeks turned a little pink, a mixture of embarrassment and annoyance. He wasn't sure if he should be insulted by being call cute. 'Shorty', on the other hand, was definitely not acceptable. His eyebrows pinched together into an irritated expression. He pushed him away, and Prince immediately moved on to go bother Winter. Geez, that guy knew how to bug him! Even though Audrey strongly resented being picked on, it felt a little different with Prince. He had an annoyingly friendly way of going about it that made Aubrey both want to smile and punch him in the mouth.

He noticed Angelo march past, holding himself in the same confident manner as usual. Levi seemed to be fascinated, and she started scribbling away into her sketchbook. The boy leaned over and tried to see what she had drawn, but she quickly put it away when Prince wrapped am arm around her. He grinned when she calmly removed his arm and held up a sign with the word 'stop' written clear as day. Aubrey admired her, and felt a strong respect for the way she conducted herself. She had the same cool and collected demeanor as Angelo. Man, he wished he could be cool like that!

“I say we just leave Prince here, cause nobody likes him anyway, and go get coffee like Levi suggested.” He said, shooting a sarcastic smirk in Prince's direction. “Then we won't get in as much trouble.”

"It would seem that she was far more offended by your touching than my questionable ways of living," said Taran, a slight mocking tone in his voice has he made eye contact with Prince. "And everyone knows that offending is a stepping stone for corrupting, making you the guilty party," He glanced down at his watching, his precious land time slowly ticking away.

He was used to the not-quite-sibling dynamics that occurred when groups of strangers came together for a common goal. He was raised that way, so the rough housing, teasing and occasional mockery was one of the only things that reminded him of home.

"Ah, there you see the problem, dear Winter, what is the point of being a pirate if we don't do something worthy of getting thrown in jail from time to time? I don't live on that ship for nothing," He made a little face at her, before focusing his attention on Audrey.

"Right, you can got get your coffee, I am going to find something that we can't get on the ship," he said to Aubrey.

Viola glanced back toward Winter and made her way toward her, her dreadlocks making soft thumps against her back. She had a small fear of the woman, but respected and even liked her. Maybe it was an alpha hierarchy sort of thing. And Rufus? He seemed to feel the same--she was always in agreement with him! The small rodent chittered in greeting just before Viola said, "Good morning. Or whatever it is, it doesn't look like morning. I can't tell. How are you?" She smiled a little bit and hoped she wasn't being too awkward. Self consciously, she reflected on the fact that she must have seemed extremely out of place on a pirate ship.

"I was going to go get some food to cook up once we're back in the air," she continued. "Since you're the main cook around here, I was wondering if there was anything specific you wanted me to look for?"

[PRINCE]

Prince gasped, holding his hand to his chest as if he was actually hurt by their words. "Oh, dear me," He said, falling to the floor in 'agony'. " I-I didn't realize that everyone hated me so," he cried. "Especially you," he paused. "shorty!" he yelled, wailing and rolling on the floor, like a child throwing a tantrum.

After a few minutes of crying on the floor, he practically had the whole city looking at him. He stuck out his tongue at the crew members around him, "You guys are no fun." He shook his head and stood up, dusting himself off. The whole crew was pretty much used to him acting like an idiot all the time since it pretty much happened everyday.

Shrugged, putting the talk-pad into the satchel. Her hands moving through the pockets of the satchel until she could find some headphones, 'Stupid' she sighs putting on the headphones, annoyed by the useless gears glued or whatever they do to stick these stereotypical Steam-Punk crap onto the headphones even though it didn't need it. Shrugging knowing that her rant was useless, the current century was a complete mess, Ballard was one of the biggest examples of the tainting of the current century, but...her father knew what was going on, he realized the major flaws of the century, but everyone would keep denying him. She loved him dearly, but he took it so far to turn on the soldiers of our country, revenge...dirty revenge? She pondered on the subject for a few minutes and...then Prince collapsed onto the metallic ground. His...oddly usual routine to attempt to crack a smile from any of us...'stupid'.

Exhaling deeply turning around going deeper within the city of Ballard, going with or without the team she just needed the energy. As she walked along the path, awfully perplexed at the shops and as well the restaurants around her. Even the citizens wanted a clean city as multiple plants would be decorated within these buildings. A set of violins and a piano played as she walked, music lightly escaping her headphones as she walked pass through the crowds, many had masks on due to the smaug...and she'd understand very well why they needed the masks.

She looked up a flashy looking sign a few feet above the entrance saying, " Le'Vartee Coffee ". A unique name for a coffee place, smiling taking off the headphones slowly, making sure not to entangle it with her long hair. She stuffs the headphones in the satchel and enters the coffee shop. She looks at the shop in awe, her face still blank but her mind was exploding with happiness, 'Organized...' she nodded, walking towards the counter, " Hello...welcome to Le'Vartee's Coffee what will you like? " Her accent was...delightful? Her words curved perfectly, ' Wow...wish she was my story-teller when I was a kid. ' She snickered quietly.

Smiling as she grabbed out her talk-pad, looking up at the menu and writing down the food and as well drinks she wanted, her handwriting was plain instead of bended, 'perfect' she looked down at her talk-pad making sure everything was correct she put the pencil in the satchels pocket and showed the lady her order...

" A vanilla based Mocha, a dozen of chocolate-covered donut holes, and a bagel. "

The lady nodded, " 25.23$ Please. " Her head turned to the satchel, her hands moving and opening the pockets to find the money she needed. Her palm softly touched the tip of a few dollars, her fingers seemingly wrapping around the 'silky' like paper and setting it on the counter, the lady counted the money she gave, " 4.36$ of change. " She smiled, grabbing the money and handing her the change, turning as she entered the kitchen.

Turning looking for somewhere to sit, her boots clacked against the 'checkerboard' floor, sitting at a seat that was nearby the window, giving her the full look of the city...within a cafe.

~JAX~

Jax awoke with a start, looking around frantically as the ship docked at Ballard. Oh crap, how long have I been out? Her hand rose to scratch her head but she decided against it seeing the grease on her hands from her work. It was all coming back to her now; the new weapon in front of her was proof of what she had been doing. It was large, like a hand held cannon, with a perfect copper and bronze combination on the outside it was the perfect weapon for any occasion, basically the weapon with plenty of gears on the outside of it, was a beautiful masterpiece. "Right, Hand Cannon, beautiful, perfect" Jax stood up, wiping her dirty hands on her pants, sighing because the grease just never fully came off.

Stretching her arms up above her, Jax realized the ship wasn't moving any more, the only sounds she could hear were the lulling sound from the idle ship. "Hm, y'know what that means Jax, Chaos Hour" Her smirk was undeniable, she was ready to go out and chaos trouble of all sorts. The pirate ran up from her quarters in the lower decks, up many flights of stairs, to the main deck where she could see everything. Well, most everything, the things that were visible were the larger things that weren't cloaked in nasty pollution. In any case, she was used to it, she had grown up in a place very similar to Ballard and the pollution was nothing new to her. With one hand on the back of her head she walked casually over to the rope that held the ship to the dock. "Oh yes"

There were already others on the dock and she wanted to go join them, there would have to be a fashionable entrance of course. Removing her large wrench from her back, she took a deep breath and lept over the edge of the Leviathan. "Oh shiiiiiit" With split second timing she used her wrench to zip line down the rope and skillfully flip up and beside her crew mates. "Holy crap, did any of you see that?" Now if the rope had been any less taunt she wouldn't have been able to do this but she knew what she was doing by now. When some of them looked at her, her cheeks went a bit pink. "O-oh hey guys, sorry I'm late. What'd I miss?"

It was somewhat obvious what she had missed, Angel had already left, Levi was busy being adorable, Winter was being 'mom', Prince was being his normal douchey self, Taran was hot per usual, Viola was Viola (she didn't know much about her), and Aubrey... well. There was something about Aubrey that had always drawn Jax in. It was the same with Winter at one point, but she got over it when she saw how motherly Winter really was. Plus Jax didn't want to get destroyed by whatever weapons Winter kept to herself, if she confessed her feelings. She didn't know how Aubrey felt toward her, there was only the feeling of comradery between them all. But with Aubrey, shit. "Ahem... anyways. Sorry for staring, I was thinking about the bomb Hand Cannon I just made. No pun intended"

Jax noticed by the time she was done talking they had already left, sometimes she talked far too much. "Hey wait up!!" She ran to catch up to them, running to Aubrey's side. "You'll never believe what I made."

Winston had left the others to their own devices. He needed to buy his supplies. He walked to a rather seedy looking part of the town. Men in clothes covered with dirt hid in the alleys. All of their eyes on Winston, waiting for any point when Winston would be even slightly distracted. Winston walked through in a quick pace until he reached a small set of stairs into a basement. He slowly paced down the stairs. At the bottom were a small reinforced door and a tiny bell. Winston rang the bell six times in a fashion that resembled an old song. After 10 seconds, a small wooden slider on the door opened. An aged, nearly colourless eye looked through. The slide was shut and the door opened.

The old man walked behind the counter, every step sending a resounding shuffle through the room. Winston entered the store. It smelled of ash, herbs and wood. "What fancies ye?" The old man said, his voice tired and rough. "I would like to buy about 10 dried Arima flower petals, a small jar of Trima oil, a small jar of coal powder and 20 Greygrass stalks." Winston replied. "Thos will be a bit costly." The old man wearily spoke. "I know. I have enough for it." Winston said, placing a bag of coins on the table. The old man took the bag and dumped the coins onto the table. After a moment of staring at the coins, the old man scooped the coins up and went into a backroom. He came out with a small cloth bag containing the goods that Winston had bought. "Thank you." Winston said, picking up the bag.

He quickly walked out of the store. The door closed with a loud clang. He walked through the slums. The men of the alleys seemed to want to attack him even more now that he had stuff, but Winston's height intimidated them. He left the slums, and sighed. He had nothing else to do with his time. He decided to walk to a small coffee shop. He had entered the store with a strange name. Le... something or other. Winston stopped after seeing the name. He clenched his fist, and walked into the store, trying to put thoughts out of his mind. Upon entering, he saw a few familiar faces. "Ay, Levi!", he said, enthusiastically sticking his hands up. He then realized that he still needed his coffee. He walked through the store to the counter with his hands still up. "Uh. Can I get a regular black coffee?" Winston said, his speech rather monotone. "$3 Please..." The woman said, a bit offset by Winston's appearance. Winston lowered both of his hands and put one into his pocket to pull out a few coins. He put them on the table and the woman took them. He then walked to the table Levi was sitting at, and took a seat there.
