Peter looked through the club-room at Layzner's. The room was made under an arrangement between Miss Lindemann and Kelley that she'll autograph a Gundam Sandrock box and a poster for a room to be used by the club. Remembering her sportscar he found out how she is from a German family of steel-exporters, explaining her wealth.

He noticed a new girl entering the room. "I will be able to battle soon." He offered but at the same time heard Thomas offering to battle. "Actually Thomas might be able to. I need to finish some things first."

Miss Lindemann, who people can call the "Queen of Darkness" due to her sour, but helpful nature entered the room. "I have some news for all." She said to them. "We will have a friendly match with Saint Maria Pure Academy next week. Their team, Vespa will fight us at the store."
As the announcement was made Peter searched the school and the team. It looked like a Catholic school closeby and the team happened to have qualified for the National tournament once three years ago.
Miss Lindemann looked at the club before continuing. "So we will be preparing for the battle and training will be made harder. That's all." She finished and walked out of the room.

Marie couldn't help but sigh at that hopefully a good match was what they needed to get their act together. She thought to herself as she quietly started to assemble a gunpla. The pieces laid out in front of her was for a Gundam Zabanya it was her latest project to take what was worked from her strike freedom impulse and add it upon to a new gunpla. The holster bits of the Zabanya would not only allow her to carry more guns for but also allows her to increase the amount of fire for her bombardment. "So does anyone have any data on their gunpla's they use" Marie decided to ask as she continued working on the gunpla. "Knowledge is half the battle if were to get at least some information on them it could make planning and battle that much easier she added."

Thomas A. Law - THE BLUE STAR

Thomas slowly shook his head at Gary as he lowered from his stretch. "See, its anger like that that makes you hard to be around. Not a single funny bone in your body," he teased, although it sounded dry and flat.

"But none of it matters now!" he said excitedly as he strode pass Peter and to the newcomer. He honestly wasn't into all that researching stuff, neither was he versed in creating strategies. All he knew was that he was pretty good in actual battle, ideas came to him in the heat of the moment, until that time would come, he was usually blank and empty. Like a clean slate, he supposed.

With a warm smile, he greeted the girl. "I'll battle ya. You've got some spunk in you girl! Let's do this!" He told her, grinning with approval. He headed over and grabbed Brave Passion from its place on the table afterwards.

Wasting little to no time, he stepped in front of the arena, basically beaming the whole while. He was itching for a serious battle. Training was all good and dandy but nothing compared to the thrill of an actual battle. The thoughts and simulation of it consumed him, it almost seemed real. Like a high that he couldn't quite reach, it plagued him so.

"Well, come on. Hurry over to the other side," He said impatiently.

"Let's get to it, then." Emily stepped to the other side of the battle table, sliding her GP base into the machine. She popped her Gunpla box open, withdrawing the Gerbera Tetra Omega and setting it down over the base. A satisfying hum reverberated as the machine powered up, the control console materializing before her. She laid her fingers on the control spheres and waited for her opponent to follow suit.

When Emily saw the Gunpla her opponent held, she tightened her grip on the spherical yokes. She'd read about that Gunpla - the Brave Passion. Except she had only known it in the hands of a girl; "Red Hot." Last she knew, Red Hot was no longer active in the Gunpla Battle community. Emily never had to face her herself, but the girl's track record was nothing short of amazing.

"Hey, you must be Red Hot's brother; aren't you? I recognize your Gunpla. It's a shame she decided to quit."

Gary decided the battle was none of his business so he decided to pull out his laptop he borrowed from the library, with permission, and he tuned into New Mobile Report Gunpla Competition Zeta. A contest held in the middle of America between the southern states and middle states. The competition was held between all age groups and genders. Many good gunpla players consistently entered the tournament. There was no trophies, or any money rewards instead the players received gunpla for entering and for winning. It was held monthly and was hosted by the Gunpla Corporation of America. He saw that there was currently a battle being aired between Team Fired On Axis, a team from the midwest that specialized in heavy fire power gunpla and were infamous for being hard to take out. Virtue had somehow been disabled or wasn't participating since he only saw ZZ Gundam, and Gundam Freedom Virtue fighting. They were fighting against Team WTHDYTWA!? (Who The Hell Do You Think We Are!?) a team consisting of high risk and high reward based strategies. They had lost one unit too and all they had left was Gundam Winged Altron, and Zaku Hellstorm Custom. They were fighting in the space field and it looked like Fired On Axis was going to win at the current rate of the competition.

With a practiced perfection, he slid in his GP base into the machine and positioned Brave Passion ontop with a careful touch. At the sound of his challenger's voice and the words that followed, Thomas smiled, almost trying too hard to not be insulted. He knew for a fact that many associated him with his sister, and although, in his own rights had earned his title, was still properly under the shadow of her legend.

"If you think so," he answered with honestly. To him, her resignation from the scene was his introduction. To push aside another legend to make room for a even greater one. That was how he saw her decision to leave.

"But enough of that! Let's get this battle going."

The machine announced the dispersal of Plavsky particles and in the same mechanical tone, introduced the field.



With a firm grip on the control spheres, Thomas felt himself become immersed in the feudal Japan environment. He launched Brave Passion into the air before descending towards the castle. Brandished his beam sabers and his qaud-petaled shield as Brave Passion flew under the shade of the castle walls. He had but 50 meters between himself and his opponent.

Alice had to admit this was not what she was expecting when she signed up for a gunpla team sure the drills was similar in some cases but soem practice matches between each other won't exactly hurt either you now. Still she thought as she looked at her tallgeese legion she knew now where she needed work on. The fight with the coach showed exactly where she needs to work also she needed better armor the tallgeese was practically a physical build with a new weapon installed and that was about it. Armor and better thrusters was one thing she felt was mandatory for her gunpla to be a better asset for the team. Shaking those thoughts from her head she noticed Marie's question and answered "I am currently unsure though I am certain you can probably find some information on them online probably."

Just as the girlswere talking Peter wrote down the team name on his phone to search about them. Results showed the profile on Team Vespa, named so after the yellow jackets the team members wear. Their captain was a senior member named Christian Asher, who used what looked like a Rig Contio from Victory Gundam. Other members used various Mobile Suits with some yelow markings to designate them as paty of the team. "Right, from what I can see, the captain uses a Rig Contio." He said to his team mates. "The team looks large that they regularly change members."

"I see so it's a fairly large team huh well is there any videos on their tactics?" She asked looking up from her assembly of the gundam zabanya. So the leader uses a rig contio Marie thought to herself thats a assault type gunpla so depending on the teams gunpla they are going with a heavy attack pattern based on what we know. Looking down at her assembly for the Zabanya she quietly set aside the pieces and brought out her freedom impulse. If they were going to be going for assault she would have to be prepared for anything she thought as she checked the joints of the gunpla to see how far they could go. Nodding to herself she she set the freedom impulse a bit aside and looking at it she went back to making her zabanya. "Lets see how far our wings take this time" she muttered to herself as she once more went to the work of putting together the pieces of the zabanya.

Peter searched for more on their tactics. It seems that they are flexible with tactics but noticed a pattern in their deployment. There is at least one long-ranged unit, two cavalry units, a siege unit and the captain himself. "It looks like their tactics are derived from medieval warfare." He commented on it. His attention was later brought to Gary who was watching a battle on his laptop. Seeing the kits, he tried to guess which teams were fighting but soon realised they are from the Middle and Southern states by their model kit aesthetics and tactics. "Gary, what can you tell us about the tactics of the Middle and Southern states teams in the video?" He asked.

"Oh the kids from Fired on Axis really prefer to use full force to bring down their enemies. Nothing short of turning the enemy into a piece of charred plastic will solve their problems. They leave themselves open to faster units by doing so but with the overwhelming fire power they bring to the table they hardly have a problem with that. Who the Hell Do You Think We Are!? on the other hand prefer to use smart tactics. In other words they like their freaking technical shit. They have suits decked out to fight whatever enemy they need to without going overboard in one area. I've seen them fight before and they love to pick on any team they want using a combination of surpressive and brutal force. That custom Zaku has a double ended beam axe that can catch you off guard if you're not ready for it and it has all other assorted goodies. Winged Altron uses it's stuff like normal Altron except it has hidden beam spikes on the sides. Once it gets a hold of your it brings you close or just cuts you in half. It also disarms nicely too. It's main flaw is that it has no powerful guns on it. The guy did a nice job of making use of Sandrock's beam Gatling Pistol though for that purpose. Does that sum it up for you Petey?"

Raiyen who was holding a metalic suitcase calmly entered the hobby store while scanning for any individuals that would pose a challenge in his daily battles. He could see a few kids around his age behind a glass panel where the Gunpla Machine is. Immediately, Raiyen was able to identify one of the individuals inside. Raiyen started making a bee-line towards the battle area until he was stopped by cashier. "Hello! How may I ~ Wait a second.... aren't you that guy who single-handedly defeated that 5-man team the other day? I believe they called you the Vermillion comet." Said Kelly with an excited tone. " Yea.... thats me. I was nothing really.. Just a friendly-match." replied Raiyen while giving a small smile. "What do you mean it was nothing!? those guys were last years regional qualifiers and beat them without even breaking sweat!"Said Kelly while continuing his excited tone. ”Those guys over there are from Von Braun high school right?” asked Raiyen as he tries to change to a more important topic. “Yup, that’s them alright. These guys come here quite often. Interested in joining them?” asked Kelly. “Something along those lines….” Raiyen said as he cracked a grin while walking his way towards the battle room. As Raiyen entered the battleroom he could see two fighters already using one of the arena, under normal circumstances Raiyen with sit put and observe the battle but since he had more pressing matters to attend to, he simply gave the two fighters a short glance before approaching his target. The individual known by many as “Peter”. “Hello there. You must be Peter. I must say its honour to have the opportunity to meet an ex-member of the Gryps Titans.” Raiyen said with a care-free tone accompanied with his signature cheerful smile as he extended his hand for a handshake. “ I know this is kind of sudden but would you mind fighting me in a gunplay battle? Afterall, it’s not everyday a plebian like me gets to fight a skilled fighter such as yourself” Raiyen said while his cheerful smile formed into a grin. While Raiyen acknowledges the strength of team members of Gryps Titans he simply cannot accept their arrogance towards those who they deem weak for Raiyen believes that the strong should not look down on the weak, instead they should lift them up to greater heights.

Alice looked up it seems that either zechs was testing him or he had formed a strategy for their upcoming match. Looking around she couldn't help but notice how quiet it was Renny was off fighting that one girl zechs and gary seemed to have some hidden conversation going on and Marie was busy building a new gunpla. Taking out her tallgeese she quickly looked at her main weapon for it she hadn't had a actual battle just yet from joining the club she noticed but she was sure that when her time came she would do her best better than what she did against teacher.

The appearance of Raiyen and his subsequent challenge got Peter offguard, and extensive knowledge of the Gryps Titans got him suspicious. "Sure, I can battle." He accepted the challenge. He lead the new student to one of the vacant battlefields to start the battle. "PLEASE SET YOU GP BASE." The machine instructed as usual to the two. Peter placed his Byzantine Gundam and his GP Base, with the former's main camera glowing as it came to life. "FIELD 3: FOREST. MODEL DAMAGE LEVEL SET TO: C" The fighter waited for Raiyen to join. This guy looked like he researched his team before. He tried to remember whether he encountered him before in New York but can't remember. It is also unlikely that Miss Lindemann would divulge any information of her team to a random person and she didn't make any formal announcement yet. He will have to find the answers in this battle.

Raiyen was pleased that Peter accepted his challenge, however he was somewhat disappointed that Peter didn't shake his hand. As he made his way towards a vacant battlefield, he placed his suit case on top of a nearby table and opened it revealing a red mobile suit and an extensive amount of weapons that are all cushioned by a foam like substance. After mounting a handful of weapons into the red mobile suit, Raiyen proceeded to place both his customized gunpla and and his GP Base at their designated areas. Raiyen's mobile suit was quite weirdly equip, having two shields of different yet similar design mounted on each arm, two containers mounted on the knee that appear to store a pair of pistols, two beam sabres and two solid GN blades one long, one short, both were colored appropriately to match the colour scheme of the red mobiles suit which are mounted on the both sides of the hip area of the suit. "And so it begins" Raiyen said with a more serious tone in his voice as he grasped the control spheres that materializes upon the activation of the machine. As the Vermillion launched out of its launch hatch, it quickly flew towards a tall tree in the forest and perched itself on top of it to wait for its opponent.

The battle had only began when Thomas retracted his obligations and retrieved his Gunpla from the field. He had no desire to battle her anymore, the reason why was lost to him. But it probably had something to do with the level of concentration pouring from the others as they researched on their opponents.

It made him feel like he wasn't pulling his own weight around.

"Sorry about this, but maybe we can battle later."

Stepping down from the arena, he joined the others and rubbing his head, spoke. "So what we got?" he asked with a mischievous smile. "Any challenging people? And when is the battle?"

Seeing the challenge ready, Peter took the controls of the Byzantine Gundam. "Justinian, Byzantine Gundam, rolling out!" He declared and realised the he used his old callsign from the Titans. As the Gunpla entered the forest he noted how there are a number of hiding spots that can be exploited. The search for the opponent was quick as a red Mobile Suit was perched on a tree. He had to pay attention to it's equipment to see how he should fight and from what he can see it has a great number of them. It looked like it would use a great amount of energy so it will be in a disadvantage in prolonged battles. To get it's first response he fired the vulcan guns on Byzantine's head unit. "I will have to observe his reactions..." He thought.

The Vermilion Gundam quick raised its left arms shield to block the incoming stream of vulcan fire as it jumps off the tree and propels itself towards the Byzatine Gundam. From the perspective of the Byzatine's pilot, it should look like the Vermilion was going for a standard shield charge type attack. However as soon as Raiyen's Gunpla got within a few inches of the Byzatine, in an instant the vermilion dashed towards the right side of the Byzatine and followed up with another dash which propels the Vermilion Gundam towards the Byzantine for a kick attack aimed at the right side of the torso while simultaneously grabbing both of its GN blades which were stored on the hip area of the gundam with both of its arm in one swift motion revealing the Vermilion Gundams true speed. More often then not Raiyen likes to downplay the abilities at the beginning of a battle with a mediocre opponent, however since he is fighting notably strong opponent he'll make an exception. After the kick attack, the Vermilion Gundam dashes backwards for a moment to bring its left arm up which is also holding the GN short blade to utilize its shield.A split second later Vermilion Gundam charges towards the Byzantine Gundam once more while rotating its shield in an attempt to disrupt any incoming counter-attack and create a more devastating impact. As soon as it got close enough, the vermillion Gundam thrusts the GN Long blade with right arm towards the left shoulder joint of the Byzantine in an attempt to render its right arm immobile. Throughout his onslaught, Raiyen expression remained dead-pan to hide his personal Vendetta with Peter. "Let's just see... let's just see the capabilities of this mobile suit." Raiyen thought to himself.

The fast reaction surprised Peter as the Byzantine Gundam was kicked by the Vermillion Gundam. "He's fast?!" He thought to himself. Before he gives the opponent the priviledge of defeating him he recovered quick enough to parry the GN long blade's attempt to disable his right arm with his beam saber. Using the opening made by the parry he pushed his beam saber at high output and attempt to sever the head camera to get himself the advantage in sight. "Tell me. What do you know about me?" He demanded from his opponent. "You seem to know more than anyone else."

The battle got the attention of everyone in the store with more rushing to see. Kelley watched from his counter and thought about whether these large scale battles will help his business. Miss Lindemann was also present in the store and kept herself hidden to watch without any interference and from the movement of the Vermillion Gundam it looked like the pilot was skilled but seemed to have a grudge.

As soon as the GN long blade was parried by the Byzatine, Raiyen intuition told him that a counter-attack was imminent. He intuition was right on the mark Raiyen realized as he quickly shifts the Vermilion Gundams head to left to avoid getting decapitated. Unfortunately even though Raiyens reaction was near instantaneous, his mobile suit simply could not keep up with his reaction which lead to the beam sabre to glance off of the mask of the Vermilion Gundam thus revealing a small right side portion of the gundam's real "face". "I know many things about you.." Raiyen said with a monotone voice while simultaneously throwing the GN short blade towards the Byzatine Gundam's hand which was holding the beam sabre. Raiyen knew for fact that unlike the original Epyon which boasted high agility and offensive capabilities, the Byzatine was slower and also more defensive meaning that I would more likely take hits than dodge them. "Like your famous "coup de grace" during the first round of the tournament" Raiyen said as he follows up with an upwards strike with the GN long blade in an attempt to inflict heavy damage to the head, upper and lower torso of the Byzatine. "You could have just waited for the timer to time out....." Raiyen continued as he commanded his vermillion Gundams for a downward kick aimed at the left knee joint of the Byzatine. "Your last opponents mobile suit was basically a sitting duck without any of its limbs but since it was still "functioning" the match could not be concluded...." Raiyen continued while regaining his mono-tone voice as the Vermillion Gundam throws its GN long blade javelin style towards the Byzatine Gundam. " Since 5 seconds was such a long time to wait... you decided to slice and dice what's left of your opponents mobile suit.." Said Raiyen with his signature mono-tone voice as the Vermillion Gundam dashes backwards while taking out both of its beam sabre from its storage unit at its back skirt. "How honourable of you..." Raiyen said with a hint of sarcasm as he readies himself for another onslaught.
