ooooh shiiii~ i didn't know you had an rp up! XP i gotta make a app for this when I can!
Name: Eliel Keys
Age: 34
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance:
Personality: Eliel has been described as having cut throat personality, especially towards nobles and stuck up narcissists. She can be incredibly rude and cruel when it comes to her foes, but has a strict moral code that she abides. Shes comfortable around those who are less than well off or aren't pampered from luxury, and possesses a tomboy attitude, with her actions and mannerisms being closer to that of the masculine spectrum. While she may be rude and incredibly dangerous, she is very protective of those she does care about, and while very rough around the edges, due to being a mother, she can be affectionate and very thoughtful, it just depends on the person.
Background: (Bare minimum: how did you get to be in Sothia)
Part of the common stock as a child, Eliel wasn't born into wealth, power or into any sort of organisation, she was born as just a normal, healthy child in a common family, as such, her goals in life set by the world were destined to become minuscule such as farming or servitude, however Eliel wasn't exactly very... pleasant during her younger years. Living with a family with a male ratio of 4;1, Eliel became much more masculine as a result, and surprisingly wasn't demoralised for it as a result, and ironically was much more "manly" than her brothers in terms of behaviour and actions, without having to sacrifice her womanhood.
As a young child she caused trouble with the rich and the superior, thievery and vandalism as a child were common actions of hers, however with her quick movements and street smarts, it didn't take her much effort to escape her pursuers. She acquired her education as a child in many ways. Aside from some knowledge from her own parents she would sneak into rich homes and steal books, knowledgable tomes and other items to share among her family, along with sneaking and listening in on nobles being tutored and classrooms run by the rich, and as such, she became not only a brave, and proud woman but an intelligent one at that, despite being a commoner.
The rest of her childhood remained much less interesting, growing up and at the age of eighteen, decided to move out and seek out her own profit. She tried many places of work, mercenary work, thievery, bodyguard work and much else relying on a strong fist and an agile movement speed. Her constant training to improve her physique helped her land a mean right hook on the bastards she hates along with her speed giving her the opportunity to retreat back into the shadows. She gained many contacts from her work, and met several intelligent and professional fighters, meeting a specific man, named Zane, who ended up teaching her how to use a set of hand glaives, which from then became her main weapon of choice.
Eliel spent time with Zane, and ended up with him on many missions, while being more shy and whimpy compared to Eliel, he was strong at what he did, which Eliel respected, their partnership in their missions formulated a bond between them, and before long, Zane had proposed to Eliel for her love only to receive a brutal punch to the face as a result and spoke with a strong, proud tone.
"That is probably the most saddest, most hilarious and pretty much the most corny thing you've ever said...! And also, you don't need to host some pampered, pathetic "wedding" to show your affection... So show it in a way I understand?"
Thus, The two shared each other their love... by brutally pummelling each other into the dirt, and over the course of several days, broken bones and black eyes, the two collapsed and embraced each other, happy to spend their time as both comrades and lovers, Eliel and Zane ended up producing a child, Named Den, and settled to live together, while still pursuing their missions to gain a steady income. Eventually however, on one day, thirteen years from then, Zane went missing, as if he had simply vanished into thin air, Eliel left den to look after the home while she was gone, having been raised to be a very independent child, Eliel was safe to let him hold onto the home while Eliel went to find her husband, eventually finding a lead to where he might be... Sothia, neutral and free, and out of the way of major locations, it could be a good start to finding out what the hell happened...
Moral Weakness: If any of her actions benefit the rich and selfish, it incredibly irritates and depresses her, one thing she can't stand is abiding by the rules of the corrupt, and thus, refuses to take jobs from them.
however another weakness of hers is that she can't harm children, it's not in her nature to hurt them, nor will she hurt or put any innocent lives in danger.
Moral Immunity: Begging: Eliel isn't affected by the begging of her foes, it just makes it easier to kill them.
Skills:
1: Hand glaive expertise: Eliel has trained in using a set of two hand glaives, with small wires inside of her dark jacket, she can use them to launch these glaives like boomerang like weapons to cut the head off her opponents and reel them back into her hand for another throw, greatly used for hitting enemies up high or assaulting weakpoints, these spinning bladed weapons can be deadly in the right scenarios.
2: Acrobatics: Being in her line of work, she needs to be constantly on the move and constantly leaping, climbing and staying fit, her slim yet strong athletic figure gives her the ability to bend and manipulate her body in a way that helps her dodge incoming attacks and climb up obstacles, making her great at scouting or getting items normally out of reach.
3: Connections: While she may be a treasure hunter, in the sidelines she isn't opposed to mercenary or straight up murder work, and thus, has a wide range of contacts that can help her if need be ranging from gaining new equipment procured off guardsmen or traveller corpses, to getting food or tools for picking locks, and the like, for a small fee. Connections can also help widen the characters ability to meet new people or get authentification to enter areas they normally shouldn't be allowed to enter. Sneaky Sneaky!
Other: none I don't think, her voice isn't high pitched, and is rather medium to deep, being more serious and intimidating.
Well, Einin's weaknesses still aren't weaknesses so much. They need to tell what things push Einin's emotional buttons. What conversation subjects chip away at Einin's sanity? What actions make Einin pissed off beyond compare? Stuff like that. It might just be the wording and I'm not getting the full meaning behind it.
@WilsonTurner Aight, I've been waiting for you to have one character up, but I'm starting to write the opening post, since there's four ready and able characters. The intro should be up in an hour or so.
