Who, I don't think I really like the God-modding in your post. I don't really mind unexplained rising from the dead, but the auto-grabbing and dragging of Mokuren is not so good. You didn't talk to me about it at all, and we didn't come to any agreement you could drag her off without my imput, so it really grates me wrong. Consequences are all well and good, but posting what someone else's character is going to do or not do is not a good way to enforce those consequences.

Hmm, I'm actually going to have to agree with Kaben here. Who, I mentioned Antaeus getting up again and calling for discreet backup, not going in and snagging her. She was, after all, already inside; she didn't stick around to admire her handiwork, judging from Kaben's post, and the whole ground-energy-thing ought to take a while. Her actions may have very well have consequences, but subtler work is necessary.

I don't work out, at all. Maybe I should, I don't know. Running doesn't work for me at all. Have a strong case of asthma where I start bleeding in my throat at too much exertion.

Have you had Asthma since you were a child?

I had asthma when I first moved to the Central Valley from the Bay Area. My dad made me do Little League Baseball. I defeated my Asthma by doing Little League Baseball by 6th grade and developed strong legs to from all the running I did. I did Taekwondo for two years and attained a purple belt before I got bored of it. I still have Asthma but it does not have an impact on me as much and I only get Asthma attacks once in a while.

You should exercise dude and get rid of that that Asthma you have.

I really should, but I once was signed up for a Wing-Tsun SWAT training, but only rarely went, so my mom didn't want to pay for the kendo school I found.
Now I have no funds either and any sport that has to do with running doesn't work with me. I start coughing up the blood like crazy with that.

I apologize, I overestimated the power of the antagonists for the missions. I can't edit it right now, but I will try to do so sometime tonight. Again, I'm really sorry. That was totally my fault.

A good rule of thumb is to never give definates in a combat situation. Sure, your eighteen armed robot of mass destruction could probably turn the one armed kid with no eyes into sushi within seconds, but it is always better to say it is going to, or moving in to, do that instead of saying it has.

MCMAP is bullshit for 'martial arts'. Sure you learn some pretty nice self-defense techniques and moves, but that's about all it boils down to. How to defend yourself when the going gets rough. [MCMAP - Marine Corps 'Martial Arts' Program] Unless you get into those ridiculous belts and tabs, but they supplement what they know from other secondary Martial Arts.

Swimming is a great whole body exercise. Feel like I could eat a whole cow after swimming for a few hours.

Usually I wouldn't God Mod like that in a combat situation, I just misinterpreted how much power mission antagonists have.

No worries. In general, antagonists can craft almost any situation they want, including heavily stacking the odds on their side, but autohitting without the players' consent is generally not preferable. In this case, Antaeus calling for backup, as might be reasonable against someone who attacked him so ruthlessly, would be a reasonable thing to do to shift the odds in your favor. Thank you for listening!

What harine said.

Check out swimming. It's a great source of cardio and isn't quite so intensive on the body as running.

On the Wing-Tsun, that's probably a bullet dodged. The legitimacy of it for self-defense or as an applicable to combat martial art's up for debate, and the fact that SWAT was tacked on to the end honestly reeks of "McDojo BS" to me.

Granted, certain principles are certainly applicable, especially when applied mixed in with other martial arts, but from what I can tell it suffers from it's own mystique of being "2deadly4u" like a depressingly large amount of traditional martial arts. Aikido's another big one in that regard. Way too few places teach you something that you can apply against a resisting opponent, nor do they train with any resistance either.

No idea. Never really cared to ask. For a fair while people weren't even sure which one I was.

You are all genderless amorphous blobs in my eyes. As to what Snow said, that actually made me laugh out loud. 'McDojo BS', I like that. Thank you.

Hell, in that case Google would be a better teacher. Shit, do you one better.

1. Don't make yourself a victim.
2. Eyes, ears, nose, throat, groin. Gouge the eyes, box the ears, strike/shatter the nose. Crush the throat. Smash the groin [in the case of males, teh boobies if you are being assailed by a female]

No matter how strong or fit your potential [Gods forbid] future attack, they can't strengthen or protect those parts of their bodies very well if at all.
