This is set in The Old Republic timeline so you won't find any of these guys but you will see these guys. The latter imo is a hell of lot inferior to the former.

Well, factor in technological advances and such and sure, they probably are, but to be fair, you can't really compare the two either. Different eras, different needs and such.

The game Star Wars: The Old Republic. When most of the Mandolorians worked for the Sith Empire because Mandalore said so.

The RP is set a few hundred years after the events of Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, but takes place around 25 years before the events of the MMO The Old Republic.

Well, factor in technological advances and such and sure, they probably are, but to be fair, you can't really compare the two either. Different eras, different needs and such.


Even if they had tech on equal levels, the Clone ones are still superior because they chose strong but light weapons while the other ones choose weapons weight a lot which will slow them down considerably.

ARC troopers use rifles, Commandos use Assault Cannons, heavy weapons designed to do heavy damage. Sure it's slower but that doesn't mean they're any less effective at their job.

The Clone Commandos I saw didn't use heavy weapons. They used a modular weapon system.

A slow soldier is one that will end up with a bullet in his head.

Depends on who you ask. To be frank, even the fast troopers get hit with blaster bolts and no one but the player is ever able to hit anything...

Gah I want an actual good Commando style character. Like the good ol Republic Commandos (that book and game series is great. Yes I'm aware there was only one Commando Game)

I know the Era and stuff is wrong. Could I do something like the ARC was put on ice and only thawed out like a year ago? I could find a reason. If that works?

This is set thousands of years before any of the movies. Give up on the idea of using a Jango Fett clone. Move on to another character idea.

Alright so that brings it to either a Jedi Knight (Kriffing Jetii), a Vanguard Trooper (on the Old Republic Website. I was busy playing as a Jedi in the MMO.), or a Spartan.

I would assume this works. Seeing as this is close to when the MMO was.

I might also say screw it and make a Spartan. I'm much more versed in my Halo Background.

Hey @Revans Exile, just a slight mistake in your post. You mention Shayan when I think you mean Khazo: Shayan has yet to arrive from the engine room with his units. Khazo's the one with the hostage.
