Jericho Joranis

If facepalming didn't hurt when he was wearing his armor, Jericho would have done it right then and there in the streets. Still, he followed the guy without trying to correct him. Maybe being in a cryopod for so long had done something to his brain, deep freeze or the like. Of course, I'm assuming the guy wasn't brain damaged to begin with. Guess I'll never know, probably for the best that way. As they entered the hangar, Jericho whistles at the state of the ship, even for being over a hundred years old. Sure it wasn't in the best shape, but since it was still mostly in one piece, that put it in better shape than most others. "... This ship looks like shit...I-I mean... It's meant to, because... Mercenary life isn't... Glamorous. Yeah, rough and rugged." That was about it for Jericho.

"Again, I'm not a bloody actor, I'm a bounty hunter trying to build a reputation out here." But the guy didn't hear him. Instead he was calling out to some girl with mechanical arms asking they could keep him. By this point, Jericho was resisting with great difficulty the urge to shoot him right then and there. It was even more irritating he didn't think Jericho understood how mercenary's lived. His point was reinforced by a Furlyne who must have been with the guy.

"Are ya sure he's an actor...? Those weapons he's holdin' and the splattered blood look awfully real, don'cha think? And stop treating him like a pet ya can own, are ya 5 year old or somethin'?!" Jericho mouthed a thank you to the young Furlyne before turning to the man and death glaring him as he called his favorite weapons props. And then he had the gall to ask his name, which was actually fair since Jericho hadn't really introduced himself.

"Name's Jericho Joranis, intergalactic bounty hunter. And pretty good at it if I do say so myself. That Scarab you saw me catch? Been evading authorities for weeks. Three other bounty hunters are dead chasing him. So, knowing that, still think I'm an actor?"

Alastair
Eden Station

It was decided that they'll finally get re-supplied. He wasn't sure how the rest of the crew would have lasted if they went any longer without substance. Humans were like that after all, fleshy little things. On their way to the Eden Station they received an distress call from Russia, Ana's home country. Which was quite strange considering there shouldn't be anything alive there, well, human anyways. And basing off the common knowledge, Ana blew it off and it was decided that they'd be going to the Eden Space Station to resupply for their next mission.

When they arrived they were met by a supposed acquaintance of Ana's, whom was part of the beetle-like humanoid race, A Scarab. They were a primitive and warlike but able to learn tech quite fast and had a hard exoskeleton. They descended from the species of the same name on Earth, a type of Dung Beetle. I wonder how they feel to be a dung beetle race. He mused, wise to keep the thought to himself. And he was also willing to fund their supply hunt, which was probably a godsend considering it's been 100 years and probably wouldn't have been able to get much worth supplies in this age.

Hearing all he had to hear, he assembled the kitchen detail crew and lead them off the ship and to the food market. He then dispatched them to various stores to stock up on a different kinds of ingredients and food products. Given the many different members of the crew, one needs variety. Not like it mattered to Alastair, he just takes whatever is there and makes something out of it. Named, Preference or choice of foods didn't matter to him, he just made whatever he felt liked and served accordingly. He figured the humans apart of his detail would know more about the foods they needed and the kinds everyone liked. He also needed some new cutlery.

"Well, time to get to it."

XAR

Xar for the lack of a better term was confused. Not only did these group of beings showed no signs of visible fear or rise in pheromones on spotting him, they ignored him. A hundred years back, his capture and trial had been too quick. He was termed a threat to the galaxy and his kind in need of forceful culing to protect the better interests of others in the galaxy. A plethora of other races and lifeforms had opined that his kind deserved to die for the galaxy to survive. They forgot their roles as balancers and finally under the pretext of a lousy convenant, he was to be sealed and put into perma-sleep so as to preserve the last strandd of his kind.

Yet now, as he roamed free and old power seem to return to his body, he saw in front of him a group that literally didn't care for his existence. To them he was just another crewmate or extra baggage. Whichever way he identified himself. Yet the thought of finding his family lay paramount in him.

Soon, they landed into a so called space station, a massive inter-species construct that served as a refuelling and rebuilding station for space explorers. A great many ships came in and out of the massive hangar, he saw from the projected window, the view outside. As they docked, the group parted. Each going their separate ways. XAR took this opportunity to explore whether his kind has truly been forgotten. To atleast find a closure to his journey from where he can backtrack.

He walked into the crowd, a gargantuan 10ft of him. Equivalent in size of the sentinels that roamed about. The people though minded crashing into him, seemed unfazed by his presence. This was a sign, a sign that told that he was perhaps the last one and that his kind was forgotten. Not even in the annals of history, a race that never existed. This made him a bit mad but anger never solved anything. His visor told that he alone couldn't take the full brunt of the forces stationed here. As this wasn't a planet, there was no core to sustain him. He'd have to rely of his strength alone and though it was in spades. Without the equipment he was nothing but a strong bug under the oppressing paw.

As he meandered around the place, he came upon a shop. A shop that catered to his peculiar tastes. He walked in, sliding the door as he was greeted by a female human.

"Hello Visitor, how may I help you?" a standard protocol practised by humans in a formal relationship between a buyer and seller. XAR turned towards to look at woman, towering over her. Her smile faded into a whimper but she didn't shriek.

"Heavy guns!" the comms came alive as his eyes glittered. The lady looked like she hadn't heard of a Vult'ari before, it would certainly be a sight. She shivered a bit before gathering herself. Quickly leaving the counter and falling in a stride ahead of him. She walked towards the edge of her shop and pressed a lever hidden the wall. The cabinet slid sideways to reveal another hall and she walked inside. A place fille dwith heavy duty machinery. The Raptor series Plasma Gatling, Laser powered heavy assault rifles, gamma guns, electromagnetic Rail gun, an obsolete model of an airgun with heavy armor piercing rounds.

XAR looked around, his visor as impassive as frozen metal. "How much?" he asked.

The girl staggered before punching keys on a holoscreen to compute the numbers. "6.7 Billion credits." she spouted out finally.

"I don't have any." XAR spoke, an awkward silence falling over the place.

"Alright, see ya 'Ana', me and the boys will get these to the ship. But before that," Kidd gestured the other mechanics from the crew to head on ahead to the ship with their own crates of supplies while he gave the goofy man, or somewhere along those lines, a doubtful look after the "actor" explained how he was NOT an actor but a bounty hunter. Since the Furlyne himself had just met the swordsman not too long ago, he wasn't sure if he was blind or just really that oblivious. "Ya know, if he wasn't so forgiving, he coulda demonstrated how real his props are. Better be thankful." He sighed at the end of the statement, imagining how stressful it would be in his future, dealing with a guy like him.

The brunette Furlyne temporarily settles the crate of mechanical supplies down on the ground to make hand gestures to introduce himself and the other crew member. "I'm Kidd, currently workin' as a mechanic for the ship and this here is... Huh. Actually, I don't know his name or his position. Just got on board couple of hours ago ya see, so he's just familiar by face." He scratches his head at the realization and hoped he would introduce himself to the stranger and to him. While Jericho seemed to be a bounty hunter and a reliable one at that, Kidd wasn't too sure he could trust another new stranger on board. But if Ana, the one who seemed to be in control of the crew, nonchalantly allowed the goofy man to "keep" him, the Furlyne supposed he couldn't object to it. He wasn't exactly a permanent crew member nor someone in power after all. "Looks like the lady in charge didn't mind you gettin' on board, so I guess ya can get in. But since you brought him here, ya gotta be the one to watch him."

Anastasia

Anastasia sat down and propped her feet up on the table, taking a sip of her drink. It went down smooth and was the first drink in forever that she had taken. It was a dream to be this relaxed. Maybe she could sit and smile for once in the long hours it had been. She hadn't had a chance to sleep in 3 days. She was halfway down with her drink when the hairs stood up on her neck. She already knew the problem. That idiot giant probably tried something stupid and she would pay for it. She set her drink down and got up. Storming out of the bar again she walked and looked for him. It wouldn't have been that hard would it? She looked around and saw him in the weapons store. Bingo. It should have been more obvious. The first place he would've gone was the weapons. She stopped just in time to hear the last bits of conversation. Something about 6.7 billion credits and him not having any. Oh dammit. She stomped into the store.

"Listen Ma'am. My name is Anastasia. Look on your info lists for it." The clerk rolled her eyes and looked on it for the name. She hadn't looked back up yet and her eyes widened beyond human belief. "Yeah, i'm that important. So if you would please, we have authorization to take these weapons with us. However, i'm a nice lady. Here's a 7 million credit tip for you. Enjoy it." She looked to Xar gathering the weapons. "Listen here. You can take all those weapons with you, however this rail gun is mine. The staff here will pack up your stuff and move it on board the ship. I always liked rail guns anyhow. The kickback feels great." She slung the gun to her back horizontally, the barrel pointing to her right and the stock to her left. She turned back to him again.

"Listen. Meet back up in the bar once you're ready. I don't know about the rest of the crew but i'm ready to leave again."

She walked off to the bar and sat down again, picking up her drink where she left it and took another sip, as she propped her feet up once again.

XAR

The heavy silence was broken by the ever serious Ana. A permanent scowl on her face as she stormed in and told the storegirl that they'd buying all the heavy duty guns in here. She then turned to XAR and announced that the railgun was hers. Not that he cared, railgun was good but it was a bit too soft for his tastes anyway. He was capable of firing cosmic energy blast by himself so not that he required a railgun in the first place. But he thought it funny (Yeah, even the Vult'ari have a sense of humor) that she was acting like a Grombydon, marking up her territory.

Knowing that he had free right to choose more he went over to the girl. Who having recovered from whatever surprise watching Ana's bio had caused looked at him in fearful surprise.

"Energy Blades." he said. She nodded meekly before wriggling past him and pushing another button in the wall. He knew at once that whatever it was that she had was rather special to be kept inside so many locks.

She walked inside as the lights came on and up ahead in a glass cabinet was a 7ft sword. Designed after a human sword of a certain era, it was a curved blade with an unearthly gleam to it.

"This here is the Adamantine Katana. Last used by automated sentinel nicknamed 'Silver Samurai'. It is believed to cut through anything. It also has an energy feature, holding it with two hands powers up the core inside to make it glowing hot." she said. She pushed a few buttons to flip open the glass casket in which it sat.

XAR took a hold of it and took it out. Giving it few idle swings.

The girl said with fearful eyes, "Please don't practise it in here." literally shaking in her boots. The pheromone discharge from her was off the roof. This was the sort of fear he inspired in people a hundred years before. If he had a face, Xar would have laughed. Instead he looked at her, the blue eyes fixed on her. The Hydronium mask unflinching in its deathgaze. He could literally taste the girl's fear as the sword was idle in his hands. Little tears forming in the girl's eyes, perhaps she was thinking what was to come. Her regrets and unfulfilled dreams running past her eyes and then,

He said it, "Sorry! I'll be careful next time." Placing the Katana on a hook of his suit, he walked out. The girl literally speechless, rooted to her spot. What the fuck! just happened, she may have thought.

XAR made her way to the bar his visor told Ana was in. He opened the door with a slight push, as the door tried its best not to be a twisted piece of metal and glass. He went over and stood by the super-soldier.

"XAR is ready!" he could hear atleast a dozen glasses hit the floor. The patrons inside thought that a bloodbath was about to ensue with a Goliath standing amidst them. Totally misunderstood. Again!.

Valerius | Eden Space Station

"Hm hm hm, so you believe them to be real? Of course, this is the power of special effects, amazing after so many years right?", he responded to the Furlyne, turning to Jericho for a moment. It appears Ana was okay with him on board.

"And no worries, he is in good hands", this line would only make most worry even more... In any case, it looks like he would be allowed on. Valerius stepped back over to Jericho with one arm over his shoulder like chums.

"So, that was the backstory of the scene there? Scarab guy, running for weeks, finally caught the guy to show your skill am I right?", he began, leading the guy onto the ship.

"I'll show you to your dressing room... Or as mercs and drifters would say, living quarters. It's perfect for learning your role", he finished this sentence as they got onto the ship. Sure enough, Valerius did show him to the living quarters, and it was as simple as 'find a bed that isn't yours, and you live there now', at least while you're still on this ship. As the bounty hunter would walk through the ship, it would become apparent how old most of the tech was, not to mention it really was human tech too. A historian would have a field day here just simply examining every inch of the ship.

Jericho bit his tongue and once more resisted the increasingly difficult-to-ignore urge to shoot the guy right where he stood. I swear, this is going to make it all the more difficult to NOT shoot him if he insists on pushing this actor BS... Following him on to the ship, I whistle quietly at the age of most of, well, everything on board. The computer interfaces were well beyond dated and the OS they were using was outdated too. Judging from the way everything was in disrepair as well, the guy's "asleep for one hundred years" story was beginning to seem more true. As they walked, the passed by the armory and Jericho peeked in and shook his head. The laser weaponry was a bit dated but there wasn't much that had changed with it in the last 100 years, so that was the least of their problems. Overall, as he was shown the living quarters, Jericho decided this ship needed some serious upgrades.

"Look, I'm not an actor, I know the drill, my dad and I used to run a ship together. Thing's been shot to hell since he died of course, but that's besides the point. I'm. Not. An actor." But it was too late, the man had already wondered off somewhere else for some reason. With a sigh, Jericho sends a message to his broken down ship and the mechanic repairing it, instructing him to strip it of all it's tech and weapons, grab his stuff, and bring it to this docking bay. Walking down the ramp, he nodded at the Furlyne and waited, watching for the guy to show up. About an hour after he'd sent the message, the guy shows up.

Waving the Furlyne over, Kidd if his memory wasn't failing him, he indicates the weapons and tech. "Right, so I'm sure you noticed how dated this ship's tech is, and I don't even wanna think about it's defense systems. So, I took the liberty of having my mechanic friend here strip my old ship of it's tech and weapons, which sucks since I just upgraded the thing a couple weeks ago before the engine got shot up, but it's not going to cover EVERYTHING that needs an upgrade. How fast can you replace things?"

Eden Station

It took a few hours but they managed to get the essentials and then some as they finished their checklist. It was quite the simple task for him, though, the humans with him breathed a sign of relief once they got back to the ship. Quite an unfit lot they are. He thought as he stood there directing them on where to put the food supplies and making sure they had everything. You can never be too sure with humans. Well, the day was a good day. They're fully restocked and it didn't cost them a thing. Even better, Alastair managed to find some outstanding quality cutlery, sharp and durable. A butlers best friend.

As he was passing through the ship, he came across an unfamilar human. My my, they've brought aboard another one, hmm?

Anastasia

Anastasia got up from her table. Apparently no one had listened to her to meet up with her in the bar before they boarded the ship. However, it was no matter. The special cargo was already loaded without them seeing it. They would be pleasantly surprised. She stepped out the door and walked towards the loading bay. Today wasn't a fun day. However it would be a good day for the rest of the crew. with the gifts and all that she had gotten them. She thought about this while boarding the ship.

Anastasia walked on deck and raised her voice. "Listen up folks! I got you guys something to hold you over for a while. If you look in your respective rooms or where you work you'll find something. Or most of you, anyway. Xar. I don't have anything physical for you. If you talk to me later i'll tell you what your special surprise is. Onto more pressing matters though. I was told by my friend Simeon that we have an extra goal to fulfill. As it seems, a scientist went nutso whilst working on experiments to better the lives of the folks on the Eden Space Station. Our main goal is to find and bring these experiments back, however we see fit to do it. Which happens again to coincide with our next objective. It seems our odd distress signal from Russia is where the first experiment is located. I was told it should be easy enough to capture. It seems as if it's a spider the size of a dog. We have tranquilizers to take it down and put it to rest. If it so happens any differently, we are to take it out. So, captain. Set a path for Earth. I'll be in the comms room, if anyone needs me."

Anastasia walked to the comms room and sat down, readying for any signals or otherwise important details.

Valerius | In front of Starchaser

"Hm? We're going already?", Valerius was standing outside with one of the main ship mechanics, although this looked like it was for a paint job in particular. As Ana boarded, he turned back to the guy.

"Sorry, looks like paint job will have to wait. Although, can you quickly slap on the name over this... Lame name here?", he referred to the part that said 'Sierra Zulu 1'. He already discussed the name with this guy in advance so he knew what he meant. In a few moments and in dramatic paintbrush drawn style, 'Starchaser' was drawn right over it.

"That's so much cooler", Valerius and the mechanic just nodded and in agreement.

"I'll pay for everything once I come back for the paintjob or something, later", and with that he boarded too.

Valerius | Starchaser Bridge

So it looks like Ana decided they go to Earth now...? He had mixed feelings about that. He hadn't been there ever since he was picked up off of it by his old pirate crew, but based on this report it's a desolate wasteland. He announced to set a course for earth. He was kind of curious, not so much about the experiments... Maybe there was some treasure? Technology? Then again either way, he was in for an experience...

The announcement to go to Earth, and more importantly, Russia, had Jericho scrambling to find his helmet amongst his other gear and belongings. He also continually cursed at himself about not having been wearing it to begin with during the chase on Eden. Damn lucky one of those shots didn't FIND my head, or that'd of been the end of my career too. Finding it in his pack with the spare power packs and other weapon related things, he pulled it out and headed out of the living area, heading for the communications room. He wanted to make sure the integration of the new tech were going as well as could be expected until they could upgrade the rest of the systems and hardware.

Stopping, he remembered the cyborg girl saying she'd be in there and decide he'd check the comms later. Instead, he headed for the bridge and came across a couple of people he didn't know. "Hey there, names Jericho. Anyone wanna tell me where the bridge is? I just realized I haven't the slightest idea in this hundred year old model."

As the other two started to enter into the ship, the Furlyne made a 'Are you kidding me?' expression at the goofy man's stubborn belief that Jericho was an actor, even if the bounty hunter had shortly narrated what had transpired earlier. Kidd shook his head at the stupidity with his palm on his face before lifting the crate of supplies and going into the ship after them. This was truly going to be a stressful journey it seems, with the crew members he's seen so far. At least the new guy seemed tolerable, Kidd thought to himself.

After settling down the crate at the engine maintenance area of the ship, the armored man gestured at the male brunette for him to come over. He explained how he had his ship literally carved off of parts that had recently been upgraded just to have them be incorporated into this current, sad-excuse-of-a-ship they were on. Kidd raised his eyebrow while his arms were crossed over his chest and responded to Jericho, "I can't believe ya did that for a stranger's ship. Not tryin' to be ungrateful but you're an odd one, either that or too kind for yer own good. As for how long, with me and the mechanic boys on the ship, won't be too long. At least hours for the vitals, couple o' days for the entire thing. Lemme get ta work now, see ya around Jericho and welcome aboard." With that, he went back into the room.

As the Furlyne continued to carefully dismember the rusting machinery parts while securing the new ones with nuts and bolts, a new crate was brought into the engine maintenance room. Curious as to what contained it, assuming it to have more mechanical tools, Kidd uncovered the lid by taking out the nails that fastened it shut with the back of a hammer. His brown eyes opened wide at what lay in the box. Cartons of milk. Whoever blessed him with these, thank-- Oh wait. There were more. The boy's face filled with delight and happiness quickly turned into one of disgust at the other items that were contained in the crate.

The Furlyne stomped over, annoyed, to the comms room across the engine maintenance room with a sour expression on his face. Upon reaching his destination, he lifted both of his hands which grasped the two items that spoiled his mood. "Kay. Whose bright idea wassit to bring a box of these yarn and catnip into my station? I already told ya guys that I AIN'T NO CAT. Get it?! .....But the cartons o' milk were pretty nice."

It's been quite a while since I was plugged into a power source. It felt kinda tingly at first, but the moment the energy ran full circle in my circuits, my other senses began to come back to life. The 100-year-long sleep is now over, and for the first time in a century, I opened my eyes. After adjusting to the ambient light, I finally managed to make out that I am in some sort of a bridge of a space ship.

"... Had I always been stored in a spaceship?" I questioned myself as I try to access my last-known memory before I enter the suspend-animation sequence. It was of little use though, for most of my brain is made to be identical to that of a human's. And we all know how good (or terrible) a human is when it comes to remembering stuff.

In the end, I decided not to mull over the matter too much and instead do what I am supposed to do. I walked over to the nearest human I could find, which happens to be a young-looking male that's somewhat familiar. I bowed politely and asked the only question that matters to me.

"Excuse me, sire. Do you happen to have a crew named Sasha? She's a blonde-haired beauty with ugly personality, if that helps. wait a second.. You look a bit familiar. Do I know you?"

Anastasia-In Transit To Earth

Anastasia kept focused on the computer, tracking the coordinate. Almost there. Almost there. She had almost pinpointed it. They wouldn't have to fly and observe, they could immediately land after hitting the warpgate near earth. There was no need for work, she just needed a few more seconds. No noises, just silence. Her hand shuddered as the voice shattered her concentration.

"Kay. Whose bright idea wassit to bring a box of these yarn and catnip into my station? I already told ya guys that I AIN'T NO CAT. Get it?! .....But the cartons o' milk were pretty nice."

She breathed in and out very slowly, as not to get angry and break a face or two. Her breaths were heavy and staggered.

"Well." She said in a short burst. "You could..." She walked around and stared at the cat. She walked around him two more times before staring at him for a good 3 minutes. "Have fooled me." She flicked the cat ear. "What. Are these just fake or something? And besides, all of that wasn't my idea. Simeon put it in. If I had my way... No matter. You just fucked us up. We could have had an easy landing in and out of Russia. No mess or frantic shooting. But now if there's anything down there we're gonna have to go in the hard way. Thanks. If you don't like the stuff take it out. Easy as that. Now goodbye."

Anastasia stomped away, mad about missing the coordinates. On her way, the man they had just picked up was asking about the bridge. In her rage her remark came off as sarcastic.

"Hey dung for eyes, it's right there. Can't you see it?"

XAR

The blonde human barely acknowledged his presence as her scowl literally calmed the nerves evident in the bar. She got up and got moving, XAR following close behind her. Typically the sight of the cyborg would have been a sign of trouble itself, but along with XAR the two looked a no-nonsense bruiser couple.

On reaching the ship she made an announcement of getting them 'gifts', some sort of human formality before a voyage. Apparently, she had gotten him one too but it wasn't anything tangible. Was the Human female showing signs of what they called 'affection' thought XAR confused. She was a rather unique sample of the race, he had to admit. Showing hostility one moment and quickly changing faces.

Xar stood impassive on the bridge as a commotion went about and another human was added to the fold. This one dressed in a black exosuit. The other human who was the ship's captain seems to think that the new entrant was the mascot or something. Xar was a bit confused about the complexities of human interactions. So when he noticed Ana storming off to somewhere again, he thought that this was the best time to approach her.

Since he can expect her to get violent when acting like she was, that was an outcome he could understand easily.
"Human cyborg!" XAR called out to her as he followed her.

"XAR would also like to have his gift."

Anastasia-In Transit To Earth

Xar had approached Anastasia and asked about what she had done for him. She looked around quickly. No one was looking for the second. She quickly grabbed Xar and dragged him down into the cargo hold. She took a seat on one of the newly delivered supply boxes. She sighed and looked up to him. "Listen. You better be damn thankful for this. I've pulled every possible favor I can and promised some favors in return. If the other crew members found out what I was doing for you, they might be a bit upset. Right now, as we speak, I have some people out there looking for members of your race. Your family specifically. I asked them to search around the universe. They are in big danger right now because of what i'm doing for you. If any of them die, I myself have to deliver the body to the family and explain what happened. This guilt will be on my shoulders. I'm doing this because your family still has a chance of being alive. My family is already dead. Burned to nothing but a skeleton at this point. But yours isn't. Yours is still possibly alive. Maybe I can make someone on this ship happy for once. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to help land this piece of shit."

Anastasia walked back up on deck. The ship was about to hit the warpgate and slingshot to earth. She sat down in her comms chair, shoving everyone else out of the way. She sat down and prepared herself. The warp would be bumpy. She counted down the seconds till warp.

Three.

Two.

One.

Anastasia held on as the ship began to stretch and warp, jumping into the gate. The warp was quick and painless. They jumped through and began to orbit earth. Anastasia looked down for the ckosest coordinate to the distress signal. It was...

Moscow.

Her home city. She began barking orders to enter the atmosphere. They flew through the clouds and the city came into view.

It was nothinf more than a husk of it's former self. A skeleton of steel and concrete and radiation. Ana began directing the landing on outskirts of the city, near the slums. The ship slowly settled, kicking up dust as it landed on a empty street. Ana stood up.

"Well captain, this is the closest we could get. We'll have to continue on foot from here to look for the bounty and the distress signal now. It's up to you to pick tbe crew that goes with you. Take all of us if you want. Just be careful sbout killing the entire crew. We wouldn't want an empty ship. Another thing, we have radiation suits below in the cargo. This city is booming off the charts with radiation. Guess we should get going. Anytime is good."

Jericho Joranis

If he'd had any real inclination to do it, Jericho would have followed the woman and chewed her ass for what she'd just said. Of course, with such a tantalizing pay day on the line, he figured it best not to antagonize the potential paycheck signer anymore than he had to, so he simply followed her onto the bridge and put his helmet on, checking his pistols and katana before clearing his throat. "Well, I don't know about the rest o' these flunkies, but I'm actually a licensed bounty hunter, so I'm going one way or the other. Besides, I've been back on Earth a few times, it's not THAT radioacti-" As if to stop his point before it could be made, a two headed, four winged bird landed on the front view port, cawed at the group, and took off again.

Jericho let off a defeated sigh and shrugged. "OK, maybe this place is THAT radioactive, but the rest of the Earth seems to have recovered decently. Hell, I can even visit the hospital I was born in 25 years ago without needing a toxin immunizer now. Anyways, beside the point. I have a license, and my suit is NBC protected. On top of that, I've the skills to warrant my being out there, despite him," he jabs a finger in Valerius' direction, "thinking I'm an actor. I've brought in six highly dangerous bounties in four different sectors, all with prior contract takers dead. If that ain't proof enough, then I don't know what is."

Kidd was annoyed when he first entered the comms room but now, he was infuriated. How DARE the female human flick his genuine feline-like ear! He twitched and hissed at the impact, his tail puffed up in anger. Before he could furiously shout at the woman with mechanical limbs, blame was pinned on him for the messy ride they were going to have, due to his interruption. His violet eyes glared daggers at Ana as she stomped away right after she finished her piece, not giving any chance for him to respond. Out of anger, the Furlyne threw the two items on the floor and left the room for the engine maintenance room, grumbling out loudly about how he despised foreign races that misjudged his. Perhaps a carton or two of milk could calm him down, he supposed, as he returned to his mechanical work once more with milk in hand.

The mechanic's work was interrupted for a little while as the ship warped, causing itself to rattle along with everything inside it. Since Kidd was not prepared for any of that, he bumped his head against a metal pipe from a part of the ship's engine. He cursed under his breath as his hand gingerly rubbed the pained spot on his head. Judging from the bumpy ride just now, he guessed they were about to land at Russia, if he remembered right. He arose to his feet and headed to where the rest of the crew were, wondering if there was some sort of a meeting on going. The boy's eyes widened at the monstrosity that resulted from the radiation, before it flew away with its... four wings. "The hell was that?! Is that a normal creature in this land you call Russia? No way am I gettin' anywhere near the radiation that made that abomination! And Jericho's right, ya gotta take members who can actually fight. I ain't much of a fighter, so I volunteer to stay, maybe fix up this flyin' heap of junky metal."

Valerius | Landing on Earth

"In character as always Jericho, but don't worry you're coming anyways", well, Valerius knew he wasn't an actor, but he was running this and he was running with it hard, it would be embarrassing to stop now. He turned to the rest, and agreed, their cat shouldn't be allowed in combat. There was also this big guy Xar, whom he remembers as a power guy, hell he has that big-ass hammer, he's definitely coming along. He's glad to have avoided his sister for the time being... So looks like it was him, Jericho, Ana, and Xar. The rest would... Salvage? Maybe they can find some valueable stuff.

"So let's see, the actor, cyborg, big guy and me, will be going, everyone else, I dunno... Salvage?", he was shrugging, and making a face, he had absolutely no idea what they would do. Place looked desolate as hell.

"Who knows, maybe you'll find something awesome to sell", he continued. Well it was decided... He had selected the forward crew, being the four he mentioned, Anastasia, Jericho, himself, and Xar, and the rest can secure the surrounding area and salvage for stuff.
