@Vortex Dah. You'd be amazed at what this "Stick" Can do Deniska told Galvar in a almost Rude voice and lowered his stick down to his side but kept holding onto it since someone tried to assassinate him. [color=FF0000]I'd never thought I'd have to deal with assassins.

Deniska immediately stared at the Could-be assassin and Yelled at him in a booming voice Why did you throw that rock at me!

As Edges memory stumbled upon an old Anah marching call, he began to whistle to its melody, the grass beneath his feet shifting in the wind.

"Show yourself stone-thrower!" cut short by a shout - Edge turned, among the tents he saw two men. One of which held a wand of some sort, or perhaps it was just a stick - Sephi maybe by the look of him. The other however was definitely a Templar Knight or Captain of Anah, his armour gave him away.

"You! Step forwards!" Again a shout from the tents, too far away to tell who spoke, but the tone of authority suggested the Templar. Sephi need numbers behind them before they become even remotely confident. With a sigh of frustration, Edge reluctantly began to alter his course, heading for the tents.

Edge spoke to himself as he stepped. Oh yes I saw them Sir, whole gang of em Sir, damn stone-throwers from Beglais Tor! If I see them again I'll be sure to teach them a lesson Sir!
Chuckling to himself, Edge drew nearer to the two men.

He was right, it was a stick.

@MonstrousMan Deniska actually would've believed him if it weren't for his stupid Chuckle Deniska walked forward and raised his fist in the air in anger You Think throwing stones at people is Funny? Deniska Confronted the assassin

Don't tell me it wasn't you Assassin. I can see through your pathetic lies any day He yelled in anger, but a controlled anger

Deniska Raised his hand with the gun but immediately stopped upon noticing Galvar, Deniska wouldn't want to seem like a gun-crazed Lunatic who shoots people for throwing stones, instead Deniska yelled at him Honestly what in the Better Bests name do you think will come out of this! He yelled at the assassin but still keeping a distance, Deniska dealt with idiots every day.

Edge had thought his talking to himself was not heard. He had obviously offend the man before him, and like any wound of Edges, this must be healed.

Dropping to his right knee and holding his right outstretched , palm up. (As he learned from the people of Gulak) this sign of no ill-will was hoped to be reciprocated. Edge spoke My apologies my friend. Forgive me, my mind is troubled. Although the stone was not meant for you. Please, if you would allow me to show you?

While on his knee, Edge inspected the mans boots. Clean and pristine - he was a representative then. The Templar still held the hilt of his sword tightly. This made Edge uneasy, it was only a stone.

Although he did wonder why they had jumped to such a hasty conclusion that he was an assassin.

The bells rang - it was time for the meeting.

Various members of the many kingdoms took their place in the meeting hall, which consisted of a stone table in the shape of a ring, surrounding a stone structure. What this encompassed was not known, but it was thought to be a shrine of a religion of old. Stone seats surrounded the table, one for each representative.

In one of these seats stood Drelin, waiting for the meeting to commence. This would be his first public appearance, so many would dismiss him as a statue. Much to his advantage.

Deniska opened his mouth to yell again but the bells rang and Deniska lowered his arm, and rolled his eyes, well looks like you've been saved by the bell Deniska told him with a rude voice and turned around, walking straight to the Meeting hall and ignoring the Gulak Representative or assassin or whatever the stone thrower was

"My My...It's too soon to start the bloodshed"

Esdeath said with a smirk, just when she was about to cause even more trouble the bell rang, she looked at the sky and gave her soldiers the order to wait nearby.
She then walked towards the table and took a seat, then placed her hat on the table and looked at the other representatives take their place

The Bells tolled just as Edge finished his sentence.

The Sephi walked away with a rude remark. Fortune favoured him it seemed, for on any other day Edge would have struck him down where he stood. The Gulak Palm is a well known sign of sincere intent in most parts, and not to reciprocate the Downward palm was extremely insulting.

Though such thoughts did not pass through Edges mind.

He did not have much time.

Making his way toward the highest tower surrounding the meeting area, he searched the floor. After a few scanning glances Edge picked up the stone that was thrown, a powerful ward - engraved in totemic symbols. A sister stone hung loosely around Edges neck. They were his way on keeping an eye on things.
While the stone in his hand does nothing in particular - apart from make Sephi representatives squeal - the other gives the ability to the wearer to see the world through its sister stone, they had saved Edges skin many times in the past.

With a brisk walk Edge whistled to his companion Kial.

Kial, a large black desert Vulcan - whose 4 foot wings glistened silver as he took off into the sky - replied with a loud and screeching caw. Edge once again sent the stone flying through the air, and continued to walk hastily to the tower as Kial swiped the stone from the sky and glided over to the meeting.

Hopefully his allies were inside already, the kingdoms weren't going to be the only presence at this party. Once Edge reached the tower he picked the lock, blossoming shadows to his right so as not to be spotted. Once the door snapped open he made his way up and up, all the way to the top.

The fresh air cleared his mind, taking a deep breath - he looked out across the other towers. It seemed his allies were here, and they had brought a few friends.

Galvar was about to step inbetween the stonethrower and Deniska whom was getting quite peeved with his assailant as Galvar knew that bloodshed was not going to be helpful, especially before the meeting had even started, fortuantly the bell for that very said meeting rang before anything got too intense and Deniska and the stonethrower left without another word.

Galvar made his way along with everyone else to the meeting hall and took his seat, he spotted Esdeath sitting opposite to him and made a mental note to qeustion her after the meeting

Deniska finally made it to the meeting room, to his surprise it was nothing special, Just a Big golden round table with Decorated chairs. the Sephi had much much better, the food was a variety of food from all of the different cultures but Deniska by now has probably tried every single one

Deniska walked over and found a chair with the Sephi Star on it, Signalling that he was supposed to sit their and so he did, the chair was comfy but to him it was pretty much a average chair.

and then something lingered at his mind, that Stone-thrower looked odd. like he was a actual assassin. and the Palm symbol was from the Gulak nation. Gulak Assassin?, He clearly missed, pfft butterfinger. but if he was aiming for my head I would surely be dead. maybe this whole thing is a trap?, a Coup De Etat against the grand Sephi Empire?, well that will be bad, maybe my death awaits me right here. right on this little chair

Deniska's mind lingered on and on, he was getting paranoid. Out of his entire life he never faced a Assassin, Paranoia struck his every braincell, He looked up through a window and saw a bird, it was just a bird however and he couldn't see what it was.

Deniska subtly shook his head. what am I a fool?, Theirs probably no Assassin. but that stone-thrower seemed a little....off. and its isn't hard to notice that everyone by now hates the Sephi Empires Guts. No who am I kidding, if they were to kill me now I wouldn't get any chance to defend myself, All I can do is sit and eat and negotiate

Edge waited.

Time passed and the chairs below were almost all full. Looking through his stone around his neck he saw everything from high in the sky. The banquet seemed rich in variety, just as the represented nations were. Many had come, small fief leaders from among the dagger spires and great warriors and peacemakers from the larger central kingdoms.

His eyes passed over the Sephi who sat, the only one that hadn't touched any of the food. He looked tense.

The Templar. He sat upright, proper and military. Though he did seem transfixed by someone opposite him.

Kial was flying too high and too far south for Edge to make them out. But they were demonic, that was for sure, the Ashalumnia flag stood waving in the wind by their side.

A short sharp whistle and Kial landed on a tall wooden pole that stood by the entrance to the meeting hall, moving the stone into his beak so that the entire table was visible to Edge through its sister. Demonic perhaps yes, but the female that sat opposite the Templar was most definitely human, and had a look in her eye that Edge had seen far too many times before. Bloodlust.

A brief moment of shock ran over Edge as he recognised an old colleague. The last time Edge had seen Jari they were both fighting off two mountain ogres that had stumbled across the caravan they were guarding. After that job they parted company, he remembers respecting Jari's speed in battle, as well as his feral nature.

Curios what his old friend was doing here, Edge quickly wrote a note on a parchment that lay on the table in the centre of the tower, and with aimed precision, threw it hard. The paper streaked through the air, fitting neatly into the gap between Jari's hand and his sword handle.

Perhaps he had more help here than he thought.

Deniska still didn't touch his food, he just stared at it, it could be posioned...that would be the perfect asssassination. Drop some posion in the Sephi's Food and just pray he's hungry. Deniska thought, Stabbing a piece of bacon with his fork and just staring at it

smart. but I'm barely hungry, Oh who am I kidding I'm starving. get ahold of yourself Deniska if that foods poisoned starving will be the least of your problems. Deniska thought, and put his fork down, ignoring the food infront of him.

Jari had moved to just outside the meeting hall when the bells sounded. as he was standing there a paper landed on his shoulder next to his sword handle, curious he opened and read the small note 'an old friend?' he thought, he looked around for a moment before reading the rest of the note and tucking it in his belt, he went back to guarding the hall and waited to see what Edge was going to do.

As his allies among the towers prepared themselves edge took his grappling hook from his bag and secured it to the towers iron support. After checking its strength, he leaned over the end , hiding behind a buffing flag. Making his way down to his old partner. Perhaps he had seen who he hunted, maybe they had slipped from under his nose into the hall.

Touching down on the ground Edge backed into a small dark crevise in an alley way behind and threw a small pebble at Jari to get his attention.

Pssttt. Over here.

Deniska kept looking at his food and suddenly his tummy rumbled. maybe if I just take little little bites I will build up a immunity to the poison. He thought and jabbed at a small piece of broccoli maybe their is no poison!. maybe the stone thrower was just a idiot doing whatever the heck he wants too.

Deniska lifted the fork, moving the piece of broccoli into his mouth and eating it, silently praying it wouldn't kill him why would anyone even want to kill me anyways?

When a pebble pinged of his helmet Jari growled low and turned around only to see Edge hiding in the shadow trying to get his attention, he took one glance back before walking over and leaning against the wall next to where Edge was hiding so it didn't seem as though he was speaking with anyone, he did not speak but made it clear he was listening.

@Zetsuko "I cannot waste time explaining brother..." Edge said in a soft and cautious tone, looking from the alleyways dark behind him to the entrance of which Jari was guarding.

"But know this - I am here for a purpose greater than ourselves. I may need your help, when the time come"

As a guard turned to look back at Jari, Edge ducked back into the shadows. "Go, go. Before you start to look suspicious. But remember, were on the same side."

With this Edge disappeared in a cloud of darkness, climbing back up the rope to the tower.

High ground is always an advantage - except when your dealing with dragons - then you want to be as far underground as you can be.

As the conversations began, no one noticed the darkness creeping over the room. Slowly, one candle after another was being blown out. They didn't notice until it was too late.
"Time for the plan, my Edge."

The sounds of heads hitting the table could be heard. The attack has begun.

"Time for the plan, my Edge."

As the soft words reached his ears, Edge looked out across the tall towers.

Atleast 100 strong.

Signalling for the closest 5 to join him, Edge lept off the tower and onto the slight lip above the gate, from there he swung across with the six point chandolier that hung there. Letting go Edge landed and rolled through the dark mist that was seeping into the room, the darkness was becoming denser with every second.

Twisted shadowy figures, skeletal and menacing grew from the mist like tentacles, attacking representatives with their sharp claws - smacking their heads off the tables. With a dismissing swipe of his hand the Shadow Bones returned back into the mist with hisses of disapporval. The 95 men ( not all men - some women - and not all human ) left in the towers had now made their way down onto the roofs that surrounded the meeting, others finding a way down to ground level.

As some representatives began to see through the mist and notice the intruders, loud shouts and aggressive taunts began to erupt around the meeting table. Some reaching for their weapons, others (A female Mydri) screaming for their guards. A few bloody faced representatives groaned as they lifted their heads from the tables.

"Enough!" Edges voice towered high above even the Mydri scream.

A bodyguard leapt over the table with a short sword drawn and faced Edge. The biggest of Edges personals , a large Nurhag'odul barbarian, was about to charge forward horns down, but placing a hand upon his shoulder Edge spoke.

"No, this fool is mine..." Looking into the brave mans eyes Edge smiled.
"C'mom you bastard, come on!" The man pulled a dagger from his belt and helf both blades pointed at Edge.
"You do not want to do this, take a seat." Edge pointed towards the seats behind the man.
"This is all I want to do! Now c'mon you..." The man was cut short.
Two knives streaked through the air and struck the man's knees, causing him to crumple down onto the floor, landing flat on his arse.
"I told you to take a seat." Edge said, pulling his knives back and floating them back into their holsters.
" ARGH! You Fuc..."
A third and final knife sunk into the man forehead.
"I don't appreciate insults. Remember that." Edge spoke to the entire room.

Now where were we?

Jari remained leaning on the wall for a moment after Edge had left and then walked back toward the Hell's entrance, not long later he heard shouts and calls for guards, thinking that the representatives had simply had a disagreement go out of had he reached for the door handle but froze just before he grabbed it when he heard Edge's voice, and he knew what that likely meant. He turned and roared, calling the guards that were to far from the hall to hear what was going on inside before turning back and bursting through the door with his sword and shield drawn and the 6 nearest guards at his back.
