Alright, @LokiLeo789, I finished Pearl's CS.

As far as weapons go, can a gem have two weapons if they are not a fusion? For example Garnet has two gloves, but she's a fusion and has two gems. As far as I can tell, all non-fusions have only a single weapon. I don't remember if Pearl dual-wielded swords but if she did, were those 'summoned' weapons, or did she get them from somewhere?

Anyways, I guess my question is, "would it be okay if my character was not a fusion, but had a dual weapon?" (I realize Sard uses dual shuriken, but I just want to know for myself, and am in no way trying to enforce the same restrictions on anyone else's character).

@Pietra, those are really awesome. I'd like to ask if you could draw my character. I am also quite willing to pay for it as a commission if you have some sort of paypal or something (I know a few free-lance artists, so I am aware of the struggles of online artists). If you are willing to do this, the following are my thoughts:

I want my character's gem to be Amber, so I was searching online and happened upon this link. I thought it was cute, and I figured, "I'd like my gem to be female, but look like a young boy", showing a 'cute', somewhat 'scrappy' personality, but not as 'wild' as Amethyst. I want Amber's gem to be in her inner thigh, her weapons will be thigh-high heel boots for kicking. Even though Amber will look like a boy, I want her to present herself as a girl, so she might have a purse, or a hat, maybe wear a simple white dress or something. She walks around barefooted, since summoning her boots on top of shoes would be weird. Of course, being amber, her color scheme would be somewhere in the yellow-orange range, though adding in some other colors is perfectly fine (for color theory reasons). Even though amber is originally from tree sap, I don't want too much of a 'goopy' feel to her. I would like it if her gem had some sort of insect trapped inside, probably a male mosquito (since male mosquitos actually drink tree sap and would most like be caught in the sap and fossilized). Don't make the design too 'bug-like' either, though a subtle bug-theme would be good, just keep it subtle. Definitely don't do horizontally striped black and yellow leggings because 'OMG bees, tree sap is totally honey lol' seems like the easiest go-to option and the least inspired. And no wings, since when has a gem had wings? (you stay out of this, Lapis!).

So yeah, something along those lines, I hope my criteria aren't too vague or demanding or contradictory. Again, I totally want to compensate you for this work, since what you've shown definitely looks like its worth paying for.

One thing, though- if her main weapon is her kicking, then thigh high heel boots would be contradictory to that effort. Despite what the comics and movies would have you believe, it is impossible to fight in heels, and even more so when in thigh high boots, as they constrict your movements and slow you down. Plus, as your toes are in a fixed position, your character would break their feet constantly.

I'd instead suggest something along the lines of soccer cleats. Those are affixed under the ankle, allowing for flexibility of the foot, and the soles are flexible too, so that you can adjust your toes as necessary so as not to break them. Plus, they are much easier to run around in, so they are way more practical than thigh high boots in literally every way.

Weapons are never about stylization, they are always about efficiency- how well can I use this thing to kill/hurt someone?

@Pietra Good point on the heels. Thank you for suggesting they be changed to cleats. I'll have the gem moved to the ankle as well.

Covered in scars from the lash, torture devices, and simple combat, he's a battle-hardened veteran of his homeworld's gem war.

Personality:
A bounty hunter come to Earth to kill as many Gems as possible. He doesn't know about Rose Quartz's rebellion against the tyrannical aims of the Gem Homeworld, and if he found out, he wouldn't care- he knows of Gems as an immortal race of sociopath warmongers that does not care for the sanctity of mortal life. Years of fighting for his species' freedom against such alien foes has taught him the true meaning of hatred- particularly of Gem-like organisms. And wouldn't you know, a lot of gems use bodies that look like humans. He knows what is best in life: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.

Bio:
A reptilian alien from a world where everything is trying to kill you. The biomes are "ocean constantly suffering from hurricanes," "deserts with arsenic sand," "rainforests with amphibians so toxic they blight any plant they touch," and "somewhat more habitable parts of the rainforest." Gurlack's race were a primitive hunter-gatherer culture when the gems invaded. The fight was brief and bloody. The governor was placed and began the effort of turning the planet into a Kindergarden. However, the Gems didn't count on the local sentients being just as dangerous as everything else on the planet. The savage race of lizards used their mucus to destroy key parts of the occupying Gem infrastructure, eventually leaving the governor blind as the armies advanced through the toxic deserts to attack. That was Gurlack's first major kill. However, the Gem fleet had moved on, leaving the lizardmen with a whole lot of technology they didn't understand. Under most circumstances, this meant they would fall to infighting and use the superior technology to inadvertently destroy themselves. The thing is, they had a common enemy: the Gems. Warriors were loaded into Gem ships and sent to take revenge. Gurlack was one such warrior.

That was millenia ago. Gurlack's spent much of the journey at FTL speeds or in cryosleep, making him much younger than he should be. His friends and family are long dead, but he is known as a hero on his now-civilized homeworld nonetheless- Gurlack the Gemslayer. He set out for Earth a few centuries ago after hearing of a large-scale Gem conflict taking place there. It's always a good idea to pick off the weakened stragglers.

Association:
His homeworld and his people. No more, no less.

Weapon
A spear and shield taken from the late Gem who was in charge of subjugating his homeworld. Has a number of broken gem weapons in his trophy room, but he's not trained with them.

Gem Location
Well, he DOES have a trophy room full of cracked and crushed gems on his ship.

Unique Ability
Can spit a volatile mucus that explodes after prolonged contact with oxygen. Used on his homeworld for hunting. He's also trained to fight Gems specifically- always go for the crystal, get them angry, always keep them off center, mess with the synchronization of Fusions at the first opportunity.

Was not expecting a non-Gem like that. I'm not to sure how he will be incorporated in the RP. If you have any idea, I'll consider it. But if not, I can't accept your character. This is a Gem RP.

Ya I saw that, but as You said, it will be difficult to execute. Would you consider creating a Gem, or a Gem who does not want to join either side.

You guys want a team name, since this is a military kind of thing, teams would have names. Oh and pearl will most likely lead the team. This is the team that Steven specifically chooses for high risk mission. At least that is my plan.

This is definitely a fighting RP, what are you talking about? I just put in that thing about Dewey because Pearl/Dewey is just too cute. Someone can have a past love, and still kick ass.

Pearl's team (Steven's side) is still called the Crystal Gems, right?
