Hello everyone so after reading Gotham Central and starting Agents of SHIELD I think it would be awesome to have a different take on the whole Superhero genre on the site. Instead of being the supers battling and destroying cities it would be something more down to earth where it's the normal people who have to deal with villains when the heroes aren't around using wits and skill instead of powers to survive.

However I am torn on either a police department which would have a more formal way of dealing with the villains that appear or an organization that sends agents all over the country to deal with villains and of course they have cool gadgets.

I am wondering if there is any interest in that and for more ideas so who is up for it?

I kinda like this idea, to be honest. As for the how, I think a mix would be a good idea. Police agencies and vigilantes. Two good examples of this would be Batman (Gotham PD and Batman) or SWAT Kats (Commander Feral and the SWAT Kats).

Alright I got some people already so which ones would you guys prefer police or agency?

Oh yea..why didn't I think of that. Maybe the police department called this agency(which I need to come up with a name for) for help.

That works, that's be a little like INTERPOL and L from Death Note. Though, what I was thinking is more two "opposing" groups that are still working together. In other words, the police and the agency of vigilantes might be trying to stop Mr Badass but the police don't want any help from the agency (and/or takes the credit).

Yea more of a love hate kind of relationship between the two groups. I was thinking the title for the agency would be NAIL( National Agency for Internal Logistics) and the city would be called Golden Falls but this can all change just some rough draft.

I'd be down for something like this. Gives me a chance to dust off my old hacker character, Orb Weaver.

I have the basic summary down in the story but it can change.

Golden Falls, a city on the California coast,is the first city to get crime down to nearly zero percent since superhero and super villains have been going at it. However as the heroes cheer for their victory all of them mysteriously get their power taken and the multiple prison breaks happen across the state. The city is rushed with an all new cast of villains with only the police to stop them. It is also found out that any hero with powers that comes into the city limits becomes powerless. This has lead to only police and vigilantes without powers to fight the onslaught that has begun on Golden Coast. With news of this the U.S. Government sends in an agency to help in the desperate struggle called N.A.I.L who has advanced gear to deal with the villain struggle.

I have also seen so many superhero RPs just go on aimlessly till everyone just leaves so this will go in chapters(right now 1-3) and hopefully we can complete the story.
