whatever the case is regarding this apparent power conflict we have, I'm finished, so I'll just leave these here and we can resolve this after I get some sleep. ^_^ Alignment: Neutral Real Name: Erin Hernandez Age: 19 Superhero Name: Vigil
Normal Appearance:
Superhero Appearance: Erin does her superheroing in whatever she happens to be wearing at the time.
Meta type: Overhuman Description of Powers: There are two ways to look at Erin’s power: while I personally prefer the term ‘sound manipulation,’ it has occurred to me that this is also essentially glorified airbending. Erin can control the compression of the air around her via her hands, feet, or mouth to extreme limits, allowing her to rapidly expand or contract air. The limit of how much air she can compress and decompress is unknown, as Erin is still getting comfortable with her power. For example, as days pass, Erin finds she can compress air into denser packages at slightly faster rates. That said, she has found so far that she is capable of the following:
Air blasts: By rapidly compressing and releasing a pocket of air, Erin is able to fire powerful blasts of heavily compressed air from her limbs or mouth. These blasts are incredibly damaging; the most powerful blast Erin has fired has completely totaled a car and sent it back about twenty feet. However, the more powerful the blast, the more exhausting it is on Erin. Erin has found that these blasts are not only useful for their destructive power, but when fired from her feet, Erin can launch herself flying into the air.
Flight (kind of): She hasn’t yet figured out how to really fly, just yet, but Erin has found that she can slow down her falls or keep herself afloat for several moments by firing small, rapid blasts with her hands or feet. This gives her great maneuverability used in tandem with more powerful blasts - she can change direction incredibly rapidly and land the fall perfectly.
More lethal means: One of the darker aspects of her power is being able to affect the air within another person. Erin is powerless from any distance, but if she can get her hands or mouth to cover your mouth and nose, she can either compress the air within a person, causing suffocation, or rapidly decompress all of their air. Erin is strongly against rapid decompression, for the obvious gruesome reasons.
Note: As Erin and Robert share backgrounds, I’ve combined them both into Erin’s.
As far back as either of them can remember, Erin and Robert Hernandez were alone on the streets of Angel City. They did whatever they could to survive, from begging to pickpocketing. They struggled and fought to survive, fending for themselves in a town ridden with violence and crime. When Robert turned 13, he joined a local gang, keeping Erin fed and healthy on what he earned through often violent means. He was able to keep Erin in the dark about what he did until he was kicked out of the gang when he discovered his powers, around when Robert was 17. As the gang ran Robert and Erin out of their hideout, Erin quickly learned the truth about how he had managed to support them for so long in such an environment.
When Erin turned 18 and Robert 22, they learned that they were the abandoned children of a wealthy businessman, Steven Rodriguez, who lived on the richer side of Angel City. The two reacted very differently, causing them to break away from each other and thus starting their “hero/villain rivalry.”
Personality: Erin is a woman of mixed morality. On one hand, she’s grown accustomed to the street life, doing whatever she has to to survive alone on the streets of Angel City. On the other, she believes in protecting the innocent from harm, going out of her way to fight violent crime within the city.
Beyond her morality, however, Erin is often described as an angel with some really rough edges. She smokes, but she volunteers at a preschool. She swears a lot, but kids love her. She occasionally has to steal to survive, but she also saves lives from gang violence or natural disasters. Erin is a bit of a paradox, as her personality contrasts her selflessness and strong sense of morality with her cynicism and sometimes violent anger issues.
Origin Story:
“Shit, they found us.”
“What the fuck do you mean they found us? Robert?”
“I mean they found us, dipshit. We need to leave, Erin.”
Erin scrambled around the room, gathering what little belongings she had and placing them into her backpack. “I’m ready to go.”
Robert closed the window blinds, backing away slowly. “Good. Remember how we exit, just like we planned, yeah?”
“Yeah.”
The two moved in almost absolute silence through the abandoned house. Erin heard a knock at the front door behind her, followed by, “ACPD, is anyone inside? Open up.” Erin glanced through a doorway to her left: flashlights peered in through the window, and she would’ve sworn that they had dogs.
“Robert?”
“I know. Dogs. Shut up, okay?”
“Okay.”
Another knock on the door behind them. “ACPD, this is your last warning. Open this door or we will enter with force.”
Robert motioned for them to move quicker - as the two reached the back door, Erin heard the front door get kicked in.
“ACPD, we are coming inside!”
Robert hurriedly forced open the back door, pushing Erin out before him. “Run, I’ll catch up with you!” he called, shutting the door behind her. As Erin ran off into the dark, she heard the familiar booms of Robert’s air blasts as he fended off the pursuing police force.
She felt like she ran for hours, but when she checked the time, Erin realized she had only run for a little more than a minute. She sat down on the curb, taking a deep breath. And at just the right moment, an Angel City police car pulled up right in front of her, the window rolling down and an officer simply staring at her.
Erin jumped up, her hands immediately in the air. She knew what to do if she was caught.
The officer sighed, “Look, Ms. Hernandez, just get in the car. We don’t have to make this difficult.”
Erin took a step back.
“Ms. Hernandez-” The officer began to step out of the car, but was surprised to feel the door forcibly shut on him. “What the hell? Get in the damn car!”
Erin looked at her hands in confusion. What had just happened? Was she like Robert now? Only one way to find out, she figured, as she saw the police car door opening again. She pointed her hands and threw her body towards the car, as if pushing the air towards it.
The next thing she knew, the car had rotated on its side, broken glass shards everywhere. Erin took her chance to run.
“You’re fucking with us. You aren’t our dad.”
“I’m sorry that I did what I did, kids. But I am your dad, whether you like it or not.”
Robert paced around the room, his anger clear in every step he took. Erin stood quietly at the sliding glass door overlooking downtown Angel City, their father sitting comfortably in the couch behind her.
“Then where the fuck were you, huh? Why the fuck did you leave us to die, huh?” Robert began to shout. As his pacing brought him close to Erin, she reached out to touch his shoulder. He shrugged her off violently, his eyes bloodshot with anger and tears.
“There’s no excuse for what I did. I was a coward and I didn’t want to face the reality of my actions. I wasn’t ready to be a father, let alone a single one. I-” Steven was cut off by Robert’s shouting.
“And then there’s our mother! How are we supposed to believe that she died at Erin’s birth? How do we know you didn’t abandon her, too?”
Erin turned around and stepped forward. “Robert, he’s doing his best-”
“His best isn’t fucking good enough! His best left us fending for ourselves in that shithole, and he picks right now to decide he’s going to tell us who he is? Fuck him!” Robert stepped towards Steven, grabbing him by the collar and picking up him. Robert placed his hand on Steven’s mouth, “This is for twenty-two years of bullshit, dad.”
As Robert was about to fire his air blast into Steven’s mouth, Erin fired one of her own at the two men, knocking them both to the ground. She quickly ran in between them, ignoring the mess her air blast made of the apartment. Erin glanced at Steven - unconscious. Probably for the better, really. Robert, however, was already standing.
“You did not just do that, sister.”
“Robert, you need to calm down. Fighting isn’t going to help us right now,” Erin raised her hands, pleading with her brother.
Robert said nothing. Instead, he fired an air blast at his sister, knocking her clear out of the apartment, through the sliding glass door, and over the thirtieth floor balcony. He ran out and jumped out after her, intent on winning the fight she had just initiated.
As Erin moved to recover from the fall, she glanced down to see the people on the sidewalk below that had just stopped to watch the two fall out of the window. She knew there was no turning back from this fight now, and there was no way she was going to let Robert’s rampage go unchecked.
Secret identity known to public?: Yes City of residence: Angel City
Alignment: Villain Real Name: Robert Hernandez Age: 23 Villain Name: Wrecker
Normal Appearance:
Villain Appearance: Like his younger sister, Robert does his villaining in whatever he happens to be wearing at the time.
Meta type: Overhuman Description of Powers: Robert’s powers are a little more advanced than Erin’s, being that his manifested before hers. He shares all of her powers to a much stronger extent, allowing for greater power, range, and control in his air blasts. Robert has also mastered flight, a skill that Erin continues to struggle with. Overall, Robert is a much stronger and refined version of Erin.
Personality: Driven by anger stemming from a variety of sources, from his father to what he perceives as a police state in the poorer areas of Angel City, Robert is a pure destructive force. Ever since his first fight with his sister, Robert often finds himself going on rampages, stopped only by Erin every time. However, Robert clearly retains his sense of responsibility for her, as she remains the only person to stand directly against him during his rampages and live.
Origin Story:
“You got the coke?”
A nod. “You got the money?”
A nod in return. Man #2 motioned towards his men, who then brought forward a duffel bag toward Man #1, who then presented said cocaine. Robert kept his eyes on all of them: ‘trust nobody’ was a lesson you learned quickly in the crime world.
The handoff would’ve gone well, if the cocaine was actually all there. The realization was almost immediate - when Man #2 picked up the bag, he knew something was wrong. That was when the guns started being waved around, people started to get into cover, and Robert thought he was actually going to die.
When his eyes opened up again, everyone was staring at him. Robert looked around, and noticed that where his hands were pointing, there was a big hole in the wall. Some of Robert’s own friends began to back away from him, causing Robert to look at his own hands in fear.
And then he ran. He ran without looking behind him, not caring how the damn handoff went, or who had how much coke or money. He was a freak, and Robert knew from experience that his gang didn’t like freaks.
The bullet that grazed his leg only served to compound that experience with some hands-on application lessons. Robert instinctively reached out to grab it, unknowingly firing an air blast behind him and sending him shooting forwards. He took a moment to recover, then quickly understood what was going on with himself. He pointed his hands at the ground and sent himself flying forwards and up, away from his former gang and towards his baby sister. He might’ve taken a bullet, but there was no way he was going to let Erin have to.

okay, so I can see some crossover between what I've written so far and what's listed here. do you want me to give you details so we can work it out or should I just roll with it?
It's up to you really. My villain actually uses a lot of tech to amplify his powers that most people don't even realize his powers are inherent. And even if they end up being too similar, it will only make them natural enemies and possibly nemeses of one another.
Oh right, I'm actually working on a mad scientist villain. Kind of like Dr. Sivana, only, um... Well you'll see I guess. ^^; Hopefully.
Do you mean Dr. Aisling Coscarelli? I was hoping for a villain who will make a robot army.
@baskets It's safe to say the Hernandez sibling's powers are different enough from my sound villain's who relies more on harmonics, constructive and destructive interference, and cymatics, basically, sound as a wave-based science. Characters accepted.
@Sep I was thinking we needed more intelligent villains (since a bunch of the ones I made are brutish or mindless), so don't fret about making another mad scientist, as long as they have a different 'gimmick', I think it should be fine.

I wouldn't say mad scientist... I wouldn't even say Mad :P
Do you mean Dr. Aisling Coscarelli? I was hoping for a villain who will make a robot army.
Yepyep. Well... Kind of. See, the idea behind her is really playing up the "mad" part of "mad scientist". She basically suffers from a psychologically diagnosed form of mad science, and as long as she's on her meds she's generally a good person. But the meds also stifle her creativity and, well... Sometimes she falls off the wagon, and becomes an alternate, manic personality called Professor Phantasm. Hopefully I'll be able to write this up properly but yeah. ^^; And yes, robots, lots and lots of robots. I'll admit that her "powers" are somewhat based on Dr. Robotnik and Dr. Wily, so... Lots and lots of robots. XD

Go for it. I'm interested in seeing what you come up with, and I'm sure whatever it is, it'll be different enough from my idea anyways.

*Eagerly awaiting your take on 8 Robot Masters and/or Mavericks*
I kind of have a villain to write up if not actually use too, honestly. ^^; One who uses weaponized classical music(hopefully not too similar to general sound stuff).
She's one of Blast Girl's villains, a "performance criminal". She's not really about the goal of the crime, and never kills anyone because there's no point if you want them to see your performance. She does, however, cause lots of property damage and theft in the name of her performances.
@Dead Cruiser, so if the Star Vampire is infused in an individual's DNA, does that DNA get passed on to the host's children? Or are do the children only get it after the Star Vampire chooses one to become its next host? And how long has the Star Vampire been on Earth? On the one hand, I'm reluctant to have an entire expanding bloodline of metahumans, on the other hand, evil long-lost cousins or brothers or parents make good villains.
The latter option; there is only one Star Vampire, that passes from human to human through natural reproduction.
I would say that the Star Vampire has been on Earth since about 1200 BC, first arriving in ancient Phoenicia.
Alignment: Hero Real Name: Entwistle, Maximilian “Max” Superhero Name: Phenomenon Normal Appearance:
Superhero Appearance:
Meta type: Overhuman, Description of Powers: Max has well developed telekinetic powers. He's able to lift, move and crush objects with the power of his mind. Also he can use his telekinetic powers to influence his own body and movements granting him increases fysical strength, speed and the ability to fly.
His telekinetic influence is limited to solid objects. Gas, fluids and energy cannot be manipulated by Maximilian. Also Maximilian must be aware of the objects location and it must be within 35 feet of him in order to be in manipulation range. Kinetic energy applied to an object will remain beyond the distance of his manipulation range.
Background: Maximilian is born the son of the famous superhero know as The Guardian. As son of a famous superhero it was out of the question that Max would walk any different path. A normal life and career would always be out of the question for Maximilian as far as his father was concerned. The path of protecting the innocent was already decided for Max before he was even born.
The Guardian started to train his son from a very young age. Helping him develop his inborn telekinetic powers that run through his family and teach him the essential ethics needed for being a superhero. All of Max's free time was dedicated by his father to train him to become the best superhero he could be without regard for Max own personal interests. The only thing that mattered to his father that his son would one day put on the cloak of the Guardian and continue to protect the innocent.
Max had never any interest in the superhero business. Growing tired of his father forcing a path upon him he did not want he ran away from home and left Valle Dorado for Angel City. With the help of some friends he started his own bar and concert Venue The Sonic Storm 8 years ago. Personality: Max is generally a cheerful guy who loves music and drinking beer. He's loves freedom and can be stubborn about his own path. Once he's put his mind into something he won't let it go. Back in the past he tended to be indifferent about the darkness in the world. Making out that is was not his job to solve other people's misery and protect the innocent from harm. After withnissing the tremendous evil first hand in his own bar without doing anything about it he has changed his way. After all, the greatest evil is the indifference of good men.
Origin Story: Maximilian never saw the superhero business as something that was his responsibility even though he descended from a long line of meta-humans fighting for the good of the people. For him, the typical superhero is the person that is never there for his family, leaving them at home while they protect the rest of the world. And when they were home, they would spend all their time training and developing his own skills. Never once his father took him to the park or zoo. For him, the superhero was the person that neglected those who where closest to him in favor of the masses.
Max decided that he never wanted to become a person like his father and severed all ties to his family. In order to make a living he followed his passion and started a concert hall and bar. Living the life of sex, drugs and rock & roll was more of his style. And yet during this life he got confronted with the true evil of the world. During one of the concerts a fan went berserk after being being turned down by a lady. He grabbed a knife and started stabbing around. Max just stood there as panic erupted in the crowd. Three people died that night and more where wounded as Max failed to act. Struck by guilt Max decided that he could no longer look the other way. He finely decided to take up his destiny.

Done, I kinda broke the Bio up into sections and included the origin in it. If you want me to elaborate and add more detail to bits that don't make sense I'll be more than happy too.
The King of Crime
Alignment: Villain Real Name: Alexander "Alex" Lorne Age: 35 Alias: The Watcher Power Armour:
The suit of the ex-Hero Thunderbolt, it has not been seen since the heroes disappearance six months ago.
In terms of abilities think Iron Man minus all the offensive weaponry. It can send shocks through the hands, has flight capabilities via a jetpack in the back and is strong/durable. However for any other offensive weapon the user has to be carrying a weapon.
Meta type: Overhuman Description of Powers: Alex is a technopath, able to interface with any technology and given time allowed control over it. Through physical contact (Or contact to an item in the same local network) he can interface with a device fully, and it is quicker for him to be able to gain control over the system. Wirelessly it takes more time, and currently he only has a range of ten metres.
He can also access the internet to use it to hack into systems however systems must have at least one terminal connected to the internet and his attempts can be traced to the point of origin. In terms of against security weaker "Personal" security systems are quite easy for him to overpower however more complicated systems are obviously harder for him to hack and quite often he will only be able to get temporary access before he is thrown out the system.
Nanites: Throughout his travels and various misdeeds Alex came across a lab developing small machines designed to heal peoples bodies internally, being able to cure any illness. However a problem with the devices was programming them to do the right thing. Alex did the "Wrong" thing and using his abilities and influence managed to steal these nanites and now they reside within his own body. This allows him to heal (As long as he has enough "Material" for the nanites to use), can increase his strength/endurance temporarily and make minor constructs (Such as a blade sticking out of his wrist). Given more he may be able to create larger more complex structures however after the lab was raide dthye lost all their funding and shut down. Background: The Illegitimate son of the famous super-hero [REDACTED], he grew up his mother pushing his fathers legacy in his face. That was why he didn't know his dad, why he never saw him. People never believed it when he told them who his dad was. He grew stale, and bitter. His dad didn't even want to be part of his life, he lived in a hovel in the middle of downtown. He swore he would get to the top, one way or another he'd make his way up.
Always a thinker, and not a brute, in his early years he was occasionally bullied. However over time he began to swing it around. Psychological torment seemed to work equally as well, or blackmail (Though blackmail as a six year old isn't that impressive). Over time the bullies came to his side, even at a young age he amassed a following. Though as said it wasn't overly impressive but in hind sight it set the stepping stones for the rest of his life. He was good at planning, at making people hurt and getting them to do what he wanted. He just had to think about it, and then why do the heavy lifting? He could get others to do it for him. This continued up into the teen years, where another development happened.
Upon the age of 13 he began to notice a change, and not the kind that was simply related to puberty. He gained a proficiency for computers. Never being the smartest in the class he was surprised at first, though playing it smart he managed to tone it down. Made it less obvious in his classes. He didn't want anyone to find out he was a meta, he wanted to slip through the system. This was his ticket, this was his ticket to a better life. He could gather the dirt on anyone at school, and get them to do what he wanted. Though he'd need an online alias, that couldn't be traced back to him. This was when he became the Watcher. At thirteen years old.
Fast forward a few years, and he was out of school and working for a living. Though not in the way his mum wanted. He was merely 18, and he was already working his way into the crime world in a big way. He didn't join the bottom of the pile, no. He started his own. Initially it was just him, a couple of scores. Using his technopathy to get in and out unnoticed. He wouldn't appear in cameras, he was a ghost. He could get in and out in minutes, always knew where the police where and when they were coming and where the hidden cameras were, when silent alarms went off. Eventually a person doing this solo gathered attention, slowly the Watcher gained more and more power. Though with power came suspicion, he moved him and his mum into the centre of the city where she was content with being able to see the location where his dad lived. He just scoffed at the prospect.
This was when he started the Lorne Corporation, at the forefront of software development and engineering. Programming a lot of it himself he intentionally made it hard to crack, even for him with his abilities and as he made it using his abilities that made it even harder for anyone else to get in. The company began raking in thousands, all the while Alex was expanding his own kingdom in the foundations of the city. Police got evidence on the gangs he wanted rid off, couldn't find any on the ones that were allied to him. It wasn't long until he controlled the entire city, buying the tower owned by his fathers company and moving in. His father oblivious to the relation.
For the next stage of his life he kept expanding his reign over nearby cities, and stretching out ever further. However not getting overly ambitious, and instead of actively moving into other states he merely had people there as a means of communication out into some of the bigger international syndacites. Eventually of course one of the more Technological adept "Superheroes" Thunderbolt found out who Alex was, and what he was doing. The battle was... interesting. However eventually Thunderbolt strayed too close, and Alex got in contact, and control, of the suit cutting off its life support suffocating Thunderbolt in a coffin of his own making.
Before however Thunderbolt "Officially" disappeared he would be seen once more. Breaking into a nearby facility, one developing nanites. As the company had refused Alex' attempt at officially buying them over he felt it was the best way for the old hero to go out, by comitting a crime. Somewhat poetic in his mind. For the past six months he hasn't been expanding. However he has been making sure the foundations of his kingdom are nice and strong. There seems to be another surge of Metas appearing, and as such he wants to be sure he can weather the storm. Personality: Manipulative, controlling. However he's also cool under pressure if things don't go his way, and don't let the relaxed attitude fool you. He has a plan for everything. Planned Arcs: -King of the Hill: Being on top has it's perks, but you always have to watch your back and what's going on behind the scenes. -Return of Thunderbolt?: The armours the same, but different. Who could this imposter be? Where has he been for the past six month and why has he turned to a life of crime? (With Alex in control of the suit) -Enemy of my Enemy: Rivalries exist in the underworld, however with a surplus of heroes likely even Villains will need to unite
(These of course can run concurrently or stop/start depending on your GM planned stories/events)
Secret identity known to public?: No City of residence: Angel City: However has minor operations and connections in multiple cities, however he also has substantial operations in Valle Dorado and Los Vascos and quite often moves between the three.

If you make the character, I might include her. I'm open to people making characters that aren't fully fleshed out for me as the GM to stick in the roster and pull out as needed.
The latter option; there is only one Star Vampire, that passes from human to human through natural reproduction.
I would say that the Star Vampire has been on Earth since about 1200 BC, first arriving in ancient Phoenicia.
Ok, I think that would make sense. Maybe that's when the Jarav became caretakers of the Sagitarrius arm. The ones who were caretakers before that were so bad at their job that the Star Vampire was pretty sure they wouldn't be discovered.
Description of Powers: Casey has the ability to tap into an inherent power source within his body, known among his family as "the Mark" and "the Radiance." Unbeknownst to them, this power is actually a dormant, aeons-old being of immense cosmic power, ingrained in Casey's genetic code. By absorbing cosmic radiation (most usually solar photons), Casey can activate this power, transforming himself into various forms with advanced abilities. Less advanced forms consume less of Casey's reserves of power, and can be maintained passively for greater spans of time, though using more powerful abilities will also drain his power. Each transformation takes a period of time to complete relative to the level of the from, and disruptions of Casey's transformation can result in him reverting to his human form. In any of his transformed states, Casey has a significant vulnerability to magical and psionic attacks, as their damage to him seems to be aggravated by the alien power he wields.
Pollux: Casey's base form as Galaxion, wherein he manifests armor, a sword, and an "ether board." As Pollux, Casey's strength is increased tenfold, his armor both protects him fully from the vacuum of space, and is greatly resistant to physical harm, and his ether board can permit him antigravity-based flight at subsonic speeds. Casey's sword has tremendous cutting power, and Casey can launch "photonic bursts" from his sword and chest cannons. All of Pollux's armaments are composed of an alien "living metal," a highly durable and light material unknown to Earth science, which possesses the peculiar ability to slowly "regenerate" from harm. As his simplest form, Pollux consumes the least power, and can be maintained almost indefinitely if he is exposed to sunlight.
Orion: The form that transitions from Pollux, Orion possesses all of the same abilities, but with the following exceptions. Pollux's sword has transformed into an energy blade, which is far more powerful, and capable of cutting through energy barriers. Pollux's ether board has become a pair of ether wings, granting sonic speed in an atmosphere, and supersonic speed outside of one. In addition, Orion possesses the technique known as "Zero Light," wherein Perseus traps his foe in an immobilizing beam of light, which also negates any magical or psionic powers they may possess. Orion consumes power more rapidly than Pollux, but can still be maintained for a decent length of time, though use of the Zero Light ability usually consumes all of Casey's power at once.
Hercules: The form that transitions from Orion, Hercules possesses all of the same abilities, but with the following exceptions. Hercules now wields two energy blades, doubling his close-quarters offensive power. While Hercules does not possess the Zero Light technique, he can sense and absorb background cosmic radiation in a given area, giving himself a tremendous boost in power or in the time the form can be maintained. Alternately, the energy can be spent to transition directly to Casey's next form, which is currently his only means of acquiring enough energy. While Hercules' energy absorption ability can increase the time spent in this form greatly, the radiation in an area following the use of this power will be insufficient for it to be used again for several hours, making it effectively a one-off.
Draco: Currently Casey's most advanced form, Draco can only be accessed by transforming immediately after using Hercules' energy absorption ability. As Draco, Casey grows to stand twenty feet tall, and possesses immense strength and durability, as well as teeth and claws with the cutting power of energy blades. Draco can fly using antigravity at supersonic speeds in or out of an atmosphere, and can survive in the vacuum of space. Draco can issue "photon streams" from his mouth, which possess terrible destructive power. Draco's most advanced technique is known as "Zero Galaxy," wherein he can neutralize magical or psionic attacks that have not yet damaged him, and add their energy to his own power. Draco consumes power extremely quickly, and even with the use of Zero Galaxy, this form cannot be maintained for long. Though Draco is currently Casey's ultimate form, he feels that he still has untapped potential, and that he may have additional, more powerful forms locked away within him.
Background: Casey is but the latest of a long lineage of metahumans, dating back thousands of years. Tracing their roots back to ancient Lebanon, their bloodline has carried through many ages and ethnicities. As such, Casey is of extremely mixed heritage, though he mostly identifies as Irish/Japanese-American. His mother was the previous bearer of the Mark, and as such, she lost her powers when she gave birth to Casey. The obvious transition of the Mark down the generational line heralded the arrival of the inheritor of the cosmic power of the radiance. However, not all were pleased; Casey's older brother, Sean, who had been passed over by the Mark, was intensely jealous of his younger brother, and tormented him throughout their youth.
Casey was raised from an early age to play the role of a righteous warrior, and was schooled in ethics and the history of his bloodline throughout the ages. He was trained intensely in combatives, including the art of swordsmanship, with both a single blade and dual swords. Essentially groomed to become a superhero by his family, Casey feels a great deal of pressure from the expectations for him to live up to his family's legacy, but his genuine desire to help others makes the path of the hero an easier one to follow.
Personality: As a civilian, Casey is charming and cheerful, with a playful, easygoing personality. He is very competitive, and loves to push himself to his limits. He makes friends easily, and is quick to forgive slights against him with a joke and a smile. However, when assuming his role as Galaxion (and in related affairs with his family), he takes on a far more serious demeanor. Evil must be rooted out and punished by all means, and the innocent must be protected at any cost. While he is against the idea of vengeance, he believes in firm and fair justice, and is more than willing to dole it out. A technical pacifist, Casey refuses to kill his opponents, seeking out methods of incapacitating them non-lethally, even when it would be far more difficult or dangerous to do so.
Origin Story: Galaxion made his debut some six months ago, fighting off a criminal organization known as the Star Crusade; thugs and gangsters hired by the wealthy elite to horde alien technology. Galaxion is an uncommonly-seen hero, only appearing to take on threats that are deemed worth of the application of his considerable power. Galaxion has so far mostly fought alone, but he is not adverse to team-ups with other heroes.
Hmmm... Might need to figure out how effective technopathy is towards Zeta, I guess.
It'd be through contact if anything. We can say the EM shielding protects her from him wirelessly interfacing with her, unless she's connected to something he can interface with. In terms of modifying her (I doubt he can control her) it'd be through prolonged interaction and it'd take a while as she's probably got pretty advanced security systems.
For anyone that wants something tech based, if you want connections Lorne/Lorne Industries is there. Lorne is going to be a public figure, charity events etc and his company sells software to all kinds of companies (Though he doesn't include a backdoor as that can lead back to him). What he does instead is has to break his own software if he wants to hack someone and they're using his stuff.
Yeah Lorne Industries is there to put into peoples histories if they want, criminals cna reference the Watcher however the Watchers criminal organisation has no name I want that said because he feels if he gives it a name it can be more easily targetted, the individual groups (Such as gangs that work for him) have names but there are no real links between them.
I did want to ask though, since Casey's mother was the previous bearer of the mark, was she a superhero? I think it would be interesting if she was, and also went by the name Galaxion, but after giving birth to Casey, Galaxion 'vanished'. When Casey starts being a superhero, people will recognize him as a younger, male version of Galaxion, and will start calling him "Galaxy Boy", until he publicly tells people to stop calling him that. At least, I think it would be interesting since there are a lot of female superheroes who are 'derived' from male superheroes, but not that many who are the other way around. If Mrs. Nakamura was the previous Galaxion, I might say that she was offered a spot in the Dream Corps., whether she accepted or not is up to you, Dead Cruiser. After her powers went away, the appearance of a new Galaxion would really pique the interest of the Dream Corps.
I've finished the first two Dream Corps. members, Justice and Kingfisher, and am still working on the others. Pacifist is partially filled in but not complete yet. In addition to Lorne Industries as offered by @Sep, Kingfisher's company, Crown Heavy Industries is also open for any tech related tie-ins. I actually want @Rin's Zeta to maybe be part of a collaboration project between Crown Heavy Industries and Dr. Coscarelli, with permission of course.
